We've been eating from this restaurant for a while and I never had a thought to give them a review. The food is excellent, the service is great and it's pretty clean.

Diner Review №2

They lost a customer tonight. Received a delivery, didn’t include a key part of the entree, called them and they refused to do anything about it. No discount, no offer to make it right. They just said sorry. We won’t go back. Saucy’s is better anyway.

Diner Review №3

Best halal Thai restaurant in north Dallas.

Diner Review №4

Always good food. Authentic and fresh. I usually order it “Thai spicy” but they can dial in any heat level you’d like.

Diner Review №5

This place is our go to place. My three year old favorite restaurant he infatuated with the side of fried rice. All dishes are reasonable cost. We love the Tom kha , lub gai, ginger chicken and orange chicken and especially the potstickers steamed.

Diner Review №6

Food was good. Small place, great food, quick service. Well kept 👍

Diner Review №7

Not bad, not great.

The owner forgot something for my delivery order and is bringing it to me a couple of minutes later.

Diner Review №10

I was a bit hesitant due to some reviews but I decide to try this place anyway. First time coming to this place since I’m new to the area looking for a new Thai spot and craving flat noodles and fried rice. Service was good they are nice people and the portions are worth the price. I had the basil fried rice and pad kee mow was delicious and they don’t play about their spice. Level 4 def made my nose runny. Just the way I like it. I order a level 3 for fried rice since my partner can’t handle spicy and he also said his was spicy. Only thing is the beverages were a bit pricey. I didn’t ask if refills would be free after hearing the price but that’s something worth purchasing a beverage if they give free refills. I’d def recommend the spot

Diner Review №12

I ordered the basil fried rice with chicken and it was so flavorful! Just the right amount of spice for the level I ordered and a great portion size. Staff were friendly and helpful too. My partner had the yellow curry and it was amazing! Definitely a great Thai restaurant.

Diner Review №13

We got the Tom Kha soup with chicken, pad see ew, and chicken satay. The Tom kha soup was my favorite. Chicken satay and the pad see ew were kind of bland. Overall the food was pretty good.

Food is great. Service is quick. Although everything looks clean, table surfaces and floor are a little sticky which is a little offputting. It stays on our work lunch rotation.

Great fried rice. Really nice people, and bathrooms were spotless. Will eat here again.

Diner Review №21

This place was great before, but now it seems they're serving dishes loaded with sodium—almost every meal is saturated in salt and soy sauce.

Diner Review №22

Diner Review №23

Shrimp fried rice delicious!!!

Diner Review №24

Had a hankering for spicy pad thai noodles. I ordered delivery yesterday around 7. Food arrived HOT and much faster than the expected delivery time. I was very happy with the flavor and portion sizes!! Will definitely be ordering again.

Diner Review №25

Excellent food. Wonderful local bistro for lunch or dinner without all the fuss. Recommend for travelers or those who want good food and efficient service.

Diner Review №26

Diner Review №27

Food is amazing and the people are so kind

Diner Review №28

The food is quite good but slightly more expensive than similar places. They make the orders ready quickly and their menu gives you plenty of options.

Diner Review №29

Love the curry fried rice there! And the yellow curry chicken is very good too.

Diner Review №30

Tum Yum soup was all liquid and did not have that nice fish broth. The beef for the beef and broccoli was too tough. Threw the entire order out.

Diner Review №31

They put very little tofu (a handful of small pieces) in the curries we order from them. A while back they also reduced their quantity. They don’t fill the container all the way. Time to switch!

Diner Review №32

The best Thai restaurant here in Dallas /frisco area. I have been going to this place from long time and never disappointed me.. loved their food

For the love of all that is holy. At least have the food cooked by someone who knows how it is supposed to be flavored. We tried this place again after refusing to eat it again 8 months ago. We didnt believe it could worsen. Wrong. Watered down curry. Insipid satay. Only the white rice is passible. We ordered six dishes. All tasted of some high school student trying to follow a recipe. I have lived in se asia. I have lived in the little Saigon of Washington DC. Please save your money and find tasty thai cuisine in East plano or Arlington and let this place die off.

Diner Review №36

Took a bite and had to leave a review. The food tonight was really really good! I’ve ordered here quite a few times and although it’s always been good the ingredients in the pineapple fried rice and green curry today were extra fresh and flavorful. The delivery person was also very polite. Thank you!!

Diner Review №37

I have ordered this dish (Pad te mow) many times from a couple of different restaurants in the city and this time the dish was FULL of lettuce……I mean a hand full of cold lettuce and when I called them to let them know that I was not satisfied with my food….They told me that they will not do ANYTHING to accommodate me.
At the end of the day, my husband and I spent $30 on both dishes……I usually have enough food to take to lunch the next day but I barely got enough food for dinner.
Basically, they did not care if I was satisfied or not….. they told me that they measured out 9 ounces of pasta to put in my dish, which I know for sure that was not 9 ounces of pasta. It was more like 9 ounces of COLD lettuce.
It’s really disheartening that customer service does not exist in this place. It’s one thing to be pleasant, which the cashier was, but it’s another thing to take care of your LOYAL customers. When she asked the chef, what can they do since I was not satisfied ….. they said they were not willing to do ANYTHING AT ALL.
The last thing I wanted to do was to come here and give a bad review for a small business like this, but it was REALLY disappointing to say the least, However, if you’re looking for a GREAT Asian/Thai restaurant to go to, you can go to Banana Leaf on Preston Road in Dallas instead….. the customer service is great and the food is even better!!!!!!!!!!

Diner Review №39

Just amazing!

Diner Review №40

Chicken Pad Thai had no chicken. Lots of noodles...but no chicken. Done going there.

Diner Review №41

I ordered the Green Tea, and it was perfect!

Diner Review №42

TOO PRICEY FOR PORTIONS!!! Ordered beef and broccoli that cost $14 and it looked like a lunch portion. Probably had 6 pieces of beef and 5 of broccoli chopped in half and a small scoop of rice. The spring rolls tasted like sweaty cardboard feet and fell apart upon picking up. Although the staff were very nice, I'm not there to be friends...I'm there to eat some good Thai. Will not be back.

Diner Review №43

It would be nice if they were consistent on flavor and spice. Service is mediocre.

Diner Review №44

Diner Review №45

We drove all the way from the airport (called ahead) and arrived at 9:25. Ordered the food and waited for 20 minutes to get the food.
We orderd tilapia fish, needed to eat carefully. The sever giirl told us to leave at 10 sharp while we haven't done half of our food. She even gave a to go box for us to leave. She shouldn't even take the order when we came in. I regretted that I gave big tips. Never again.

Diner Review №46

Super flavorful Thai curry soup and big portions!

Diner Review №47

Amazing authentic food, quick service and friendly staff

Diner Review №48

Good food very delicious and the service is great! Definitely coming back

Diner Review №49

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Simply Thai bistro, and I must say, it was an excellent experience.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was to our liking throughout the entire meal.

The menu offered a wide variety of Thai dishes, with options for all dietary preferences. We started with the Tom Yum soup, which had just the right amount of spice and a delicious blend of flavors. For our main course, we chose the Pad Thai and Green Curry. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful and prepared with fresh ingredients. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that we left completely satisfied.

One thing that really stood out to me was the presentation of the dishes. Each plate was beautifully arranged with vibrant colors and garnishes, making the food not only tasty but visually appealing as well.

The prices at Simply Thai bistro were also very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. It is definitely a place that offers great value for your money.

Overall, I highly recommend Simply Thai bistro to anyone who is looking for delicious Thai cuisine in a cozy and welcoming environment. The food, service, and ambiance all exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be returning for another enjoyable meal.

Diner Review №50

I got the pineapple fried rice many times in the past and it was always pretty good. This time the beef is very dry and hard, taste like a rubber, in the past it’s very tender. I’m sure they can do it better in the future, hope they notice this and make improvement.

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №52

I order takeout from this restaurant several times in a month and they never disappoint. Chicken Satay, Yellow Curry and Tom Kha soup are my favorites

Diner Review №53

Great tasting Thai food…

Diner Review №54

Tried their orange chicken and some appetizers which were average. But their chow mein noodles and basil fried rice suck. They smell so strong and weird, I don't know if it was chicken or rice but something was off. Also, they do not put salt in anything.
Well we couldn't talk to the staff because they were closing. We were excited to try this restaurant but very disappointed 😞 don't waste your money.

Diner Review №55

Very GOOD food restaurant. The Red Snapper dish pictured here was like WHOA!

Diner Review №56

Salty, salty, salty. Whether you order a stir-fried item, or curry, pay the extra $'s for the extra veggies and meat otherwise you will just be getting salty sauce.

Diner Review №57

We usually order take out. Food is delicious. Our usual order is thai fried rice, chicken satay, yellow curry tofu, panang chicken curry. Love it. Last time, they messed the order and instead of yellow curry tofu, gave chicken. Not a big deal if you eat meat, but I don't. Would appreciate if you check the order before handing the food to customers :)

Diner Review №58

A little restaurant in Mainstreet downtown Frisco. The staff is friendly, and the value is excellent! Portions are pretty decent for their high price.

I ordered pineapple fried rice and yellow curry, which comes with rice on the side. Rice was super sticky, with no good meat/veggies. Not even cooked well and has no flavors. Yellow curry has a strong flavor but no salt.

The ambiance was good. The service is quick. You are looking for authentic Thai food. Then definitely, this is not the location.

Diner Review №59

I've been here here probably 6 times. It has progressively gotten worse. I ordered Pad Thai. They used three times as many noodles for the amount of sauce.

Diner Review №60

Diner Review №61

Delicious and fresh food. We have tried the yellow curry, fried rice, and crispy spring rolls. Everything is so yummy! Definitely recommend.

Diner Review №62

I’ve eaten Thai fried rice all over the DFW metro over the last several years. Simply Thai makes this dish fantastic every time I get it. I usually request a two or three spice level. Always enjoyable!

Diner Review №63

Ordered this tonight with Uber eats . Both of our meals were extremely bland and small portions . We will not be using them again

Diner Review №64

Diner Review №65

Tried the rice noodles and basil fried rice, both were great.
Loved eating here.

Diner Review №66

I think this is most insipid thai food I have eaten. We ordered Yellow Curry Fried Rice with tofu and pineapple Cashew fried Rice with Chicken spice level 4 for take out.

Both the fried rice’s had zero flavor or spice. Rice was overcooked, chicken lacked flavor. I am not going back again!

Diner Review №67

Diner Review №68

superb food

Diner Review №69

Went for a Friday Lunch. They had a good choice of options. It was a pay and eat option whereby you pay for the food in advance and the food comes to your table.

Ordered two dishes, a Thai Chicken Lo Mein and Fried Calamari. Lo Mein was a bit spicy (ordered a level 4 spice range), and the chicken was Oook. Fried Calamari was not up to the mark. One of my friends ordered a basil fried rice and it tasted good, but had a tad bit excess soy sauce.

Overall a decent cozy place with good menu choices, and will definitely be coming back again..

Diner Review №70

The only thing lacking is pork on the menu!

Diner Review №71

Great smiling service. Wonderful Thai food option in a good location. Big portions at a great price.

Diner Review №72

Diner Review №73

This restaurant has great food and service. I order take out here at least once a week. Quality is consistent every time and food is always ready on time.

Diner Review №74

Diner Review №75

I ordered delivery food via Uber Eats. I ordered the pineapple chicken curry. The curry itself was good. The sticky rice cost an upcharge, and I got a tiny, flat brick of rice wrapped in plastic wrap. I also didnt like the sticky rice. It was like chewing gum. I opted to make my own rice after it was delivered and threw theirs out. But it gets worse... as I'm about to bite into my first bite of the curry, there is a black hair sitting on top of my pineapple. I dont have black hair... it was unsettling. Even though I ordered using a free voucher credit from Uber Eats, I still wish I could have gotten my money back.

Diner Review №76

Total garbage! Ordered fried rice w/ spice level 1. What I got was extra spicy and salty rice w/ way too much salt and drenched in soy sauce. See pic, it's soy sauce w side of rice lol

I called and asked if I can request a remake w/ less salt and spice. The "chef" / owner asked me to bring the previous order back in?!? Not sure if he was going to salvage the fried rice for other customers lol gross! 🤢

I did offer to bring my receipt it in since i was literally there 30 mins ago! But nope. The only proof of purchase - "You have to bring in your old rice" lol NOPE!! Pass for me.

So shady! Avoid this sh1thole, and go to 1000 other Thai spots in area!

Diner Review №77

One of the best deals of Thai food in the northern DFW metroplex.

Diner Review №78

99% of the time we do take out, but I thought I’d give it a shot at done in. It was fun. I’ll probably stick to take out (it’s just so convenient), but I enjoyed eating inside. It’s nothing amazing, but I LOVE their food, so it’s an east recommendation.

Diner Review №79

Diner Review №80

This is the go to Thai place for my family. very authentic and tasty food.

Diner Review №81

Diner Review №82

The food was pretty good, it had a nice taste to it. I had the Pad See Ew. I got the calamari. Which I would not recommend. I almost choked on it twice. The beef was much better. That's what my daughter got. It was a lot of food. Hard to finish all of it so there was plenty to take home for midnight snacking. The price was pretty good. Since it's more of a casual almost fast food type of place with some sit down tables. I will certainly be going there again.

Diner Review №83

Place a little dirty

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

This is our go to place for Thai food and it never disappoints. We have been here for dine in and takeouts multiple times and the food is always on point, service is courteous and quick. My personal favorite is the Pineapple curry and Rad Naa. We also love their daily special crispy noodle gravy.

Diner Review №86

As usual a fabulous meal with family.Every dish was juicy and tasty. Our favorite place for Halal Thai cusine.Dont miss this

Diner Review №87

I’ve been ordering takeout from this location for years. The food has always been hot, fresh, and delicious. For some reason I can’t figure out, they are always very, very tight on the steamed white rice. I always have to order a second side of rice, just to get a decent serving. Besides that, I have never had any issues here. Over the years, we have tried a variety of menu items, but my family’s go-to are always the curries. I absolutely love the Green Curry with veggies, my daughter prefers the Yellow Curry with chicken, and my spouse loves the Massaman Curry with chicken.

If you prefer to eat in, they do have a quaint little dining room. If you just want some take out, its best to call ahead to place your order since wait times can be upwards of 30 minutes, and longer on weekends. They are closed on Sunday’s, but don’t worry, their Main Street location is open on Sunday’s if you don’t mind driving a little further.

Highly recommended!

Diner Review №88

❤️ this place. Best thai food in Frisco. I have tried other restaurants west of 423 and compared to them this food is so much fresher and tastes good and consistent every order. Prices have gone up this year (inflation I know) but still worth it. This is more of a carry out place with limited seating, so not much ambience. We have only done to go orders. They seem to be busy all the time and sometimes we can't get through the phone lines to place an order. They do have online ordering but there is a small fixed extra fee for it. It is worth it to order online if you are ordering two or more dishes.

Diner Review №89

I am not a Thai food fan, but I love the sti cky rice and mango dessert!

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

Food was ok however staff was friendly and professional…

Diner Review №94

Consistently good Thai food. I’ve been coming here for the past 5 years and I’ve never had a bad experience. They do get busy so plan ahead and allow extra time if ordering during peak hours.

Diner Review №95

Best food ever. Never disappoints.

Diner Review №96

Service great!! Food is delicious!!!

Diner Review №97

Their food is good. The reason for 2 stars is, their estimation of when an order is ready sucks. I put in an online order at 6 pm, the website said the order would be ready by 7 pm. We get there at 7:10 pm, and are told they just started preparing our order (relatively large order, that is paid for already) to wait another 15 minutes or so. Wait for 15 minutes, and its not ready yet. On top of that, there is no empathy, the staff talked as if it's normal and we have to deal with. Now this is not the first time this happend, this is a second time. Understand covid pressures, staff shortage, but at least be sorry for taking an hour and half for an order.

Diner Review №98

Diner Review №99

Went in for pickup order. First time trying this location so I only tried two items. Shrimp/chicken basil and Pad Su wee noodles. Both were so good. While my wife and I were waiting, they even gave us a small cup of tom yum soup which was also very good. I'm definitely coming back to try more items! True Thai flavor and spicy levels!

Diner Review №105

I usually do delivery or pick up, and I love it! Been going here for years, they also have gluten free options!

Diner Review №106

I have been going here for about 3 years, since I moved here. Not only is everything amazing but it's consistent every time. Everything is fresh, the people are so nice, and I've honestly never had a bad experience whether dine in or delivered/carry out.

Diner Review №107

Slow. Too busy not efficient. Waited over 30 min for an order I called in.

Diner Review №115

Awesome soups. Dishes tried had great flavors and heat, fresh veggies cooked perfectly al dente. Dishes looked as good as they tasted and smelled. Pad see yu, simply thai soup; orange chicken, beef mushroom soup, crunchy spring roll all delicious. Pic is Pad Thai (4🌶️) with crab cheese rolls. Delishus!

Diner Review №116

Good food and quick service on a Friday evening. The pad thai was delicious. I'd recommend.

Diner Review №117

Speedy food and good service. Pictures was after we mixed the food a little.
Food is alright, going to try the other entrees next time. We got pad se ew, pad thai, and crab & shrimp rolls.
The beef on our entrees were nice and tender.

Diner Review №118

We eat a lot of Thai food. This place ranks as one of the best. Try it out, you won’t regret it.

Diner Review №119

Good Thai food with fast service.

Diner Review №120

Worst Thai I ever had. We kept place just like that on table and left. Pannag curry test like coconut milk only. Do not go ever. There are plenty other good restaurants to visit.

Diner Review №121

Found this cute Thai restaurant Saturday night. I must say their food was amazing. This is a cute casual small family owned thai restaurant. We ordered the pad ke mow, fried rice, edamame, and a salmon entree. Great food, friendly staff, and a good ambiance. I would definitely recommend trying it out. You won’t regret it! 🙌🏼

Diner Review №122

This place is so cute and cozy. The customer service is AMAZING and the food is SO DELICIOUS! We ordered Basil fried rice, Pad Kee Mao, Spicy red Salmon curry, dumplings and beef salad. Everything so very yummy. The spicy level was just perfect and the food was very flavorful.
Definitely coming back here again!

Online order was 25 mins later than the latest projected time. In those 25 mins they kept telling me 5 mins more. Finally when it came and when I reached home they had messed up the order. Taste - mediocre, experience - very bad.

Diner Review №133

This spot in Frisco always has solid Thai food, whether you are going for a pad Thai, a curry, or just some apps, you won’t leave disappointed.

I appreciate that all their staff, including the ones cooking in the back, were all wearing masks and gloves. The staff taking orders and payments at the front had a jar for sanitizer pens, and another for dirty pens. They have created a lot of space between where you order, and where they stand. Also, they have signs on the door stating to wear a mask and other precautions.

The staff is here is always courteous and super polite, I’ve been here several times and have also ordered some friends food from here.

It’s a great local spot that serves great food and great service!

Diner Review №134

Great for lunch. Thai fried rice dish is always a winner.

Diner Review №135

Diner Review №136

Very poor. Chicken was so chewy and gross me and my wife just threw it away it was inedible. Waste of $30.

Diner Review №137

Love this Simply Thai Bistro location on Legacy Rd. Food is always consistent with quality, quantity and taste. Customer service friendly. "The Best" Thai food in Frisco area.

Diner Review №148

Food is okay, but delivery is terrible. They deliver based on when an order is placed NOT based on travel distance. My order had a cross-town, one hour ride (based on the departure time provided by the manager) before arriving at my home 1/2 mile from the restaurant. The restaurant manager could not understand why a cold meal is a problem. I am moving on to another restaurant...you should also.

Diner Review №153

Diner Review №154

Whether Legacy or Main St location, best Thai! Travel from Coppell to enjoy it. Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups are amazing. Real Pad Thai is amazing.

Diner Review №155

I don’t understand the 4 - 5 star reviews. I ordered from here twice. The first time was awful, as well. The most recent time, I ordered the shrimp and chicken basil Thai dish. The flavor was mediocre and the sauce was watered down. The ground chicken tasted cheap and poor in quality and they put TWO shrimps in the dish. The green curry was ok, but the tofu was extra soft versus firm so it practically melted into the sauce. Plus the eggplant was so sparse and thin you could barely taste it. The Singapore noodles were the most disgusting of all. It’s supposed to have curry flavor and noodles were the wrong type. Not even close. It tasted bland and not at all like curry. Closer to chow mein. I am sorely disappointed for the second time ordering from this place. Never again.

Good meal...my Mom enjoys their food which sometimes doesn't mean much. LOL! She doesn't have bad taste, but not a fan of the spicy stuff. Anyway, I had their green curry and a small Tom Yum soup...both were 4/5 spicy. Food was good...good heat. Flavor good. Clean place. Good pricing. I would recommend what I got for sure...guessing there are other good dishes. Damn glad I went for dinner tonight.

Not keen on. Their flavours, order wasn't correct. Got home b4 noticed as too much effort to communicate there.
High priced. Uncomfortable. & crowded seating.

Not a favorite place.

Super

Diner Review №174

Food was okay, lacked flavor for the typical panang curry I've had. Would give it 4 stars expect for the unacceptable wait time for the food. It took 30 minutes to get my food after I ordered it. This was before the typical lunch time rush during a business day, and the place was not busy enough to suggest it would take that long for the food to come out.

Diner Review №175

Food is usually good but the service is lacking. Took almost 20 minutes for the app. Then another 10 for my wife's meal and another 10 - 15 for mine. Not a good night

Diner Review №189

Ordered food for delivery, order was incorrect.
Called and was told very explicitly to bring the food back so they could confirm I actually had it. Said I’d be there in 10 minutes, when I arrived they hadn’t started on new food because they had to make sure I wasn’t trying to steal food. The whole reason I ordered delivery was because I had to work late, and the family needs food. At least through the genius of this “policy” - I was able to spend 15 minutes in their restaurant to give them a 1 star review. Total waste of time. Avoid this place.

We were here for lunch on a Friday and ordered Vegetarian egg roll, and stir fry and Thai red curry with vegetables, tofu and steamed rice on the side.

The egg roll was very oily and very mushy.. did not liked at all. And stir fry was okay but the red curry was not up-to what I was expecting.

So overall just 3 stars..

The green curry was really awful. It tasted like warm coconut milk and had almost no curry in it. It was not spicy at all, even though I ordered it medium. Probably the worst green curry I've had.

My wife's pad thai was great. It was flavorful and limey.

The clerk was very nice and personable, and the restaurant was clean.

I won't be back solely due to the terrible green curry, but if you won't be ordering that, this place is probably alright.

Diner Review №200

I had the pad thai to go. It was okay. It just had an overall burnt flavor to it and left a lot to be desired. I couldn't make myself finish it.
