This was my first time at this restaurant. I’m a big fan of pad Thai. I ordered chicken pad Thai noodles. I didn’t realize it would come with tofu as well :(. Not a big fan of tofu. Although the flavor was nice there wasn’t that many pieces of chicken. (Only 5 pieces in plate). More tofu than chicken. Also small portion for $16. Probably won’t be back :(
Tried this place for the first time a few days before Christmas. It was completely empty. They sat us and were gracious but made us aware that they were closing early. My companion and I quickly placed an order and the dishes arrived swiftly. They were absolutely delicious!! Loved the various vegetarian options on the vast menu. The spring rolls were yummy and the Thai tea so refreshing! We asked for level 3 spicy but it seems like Level -1. Hope to come back on my visit to Dallas!
We come here frequently especially after church on Sunday.
This restaurant is nestled in the Oak Lawn area and I found it after looking for Some of the Best Thai Food in Dallas. We park in an underground parking garage to go in so it could be difficult to find off the street.
We ordered the crispy spring rolls and they were nice and crunchy. They give you five with your order.
At this visit I ordered a modified plant based Yellow Noodle. I took away any soy or meat and added celery and broccoli. Instead of celery they used the celery leaves which was a nice change.
Their spice levels range from 1 to 5. I asked for the 3 spice level. It wasn’t hot at all. I didn’t notice that it wasn’t spicy until I was almost done with my dish. That’s how good it was. Next time I’ll order the 4 spice level.
My husband ordered the Shrimp and Chicken Basil and he said it was super flavorful.
Another great experience…
Hidden gem! Traditional Thai food was amazing- we ordered the crunchy spring rolls, the pineapple fried rice, the orange chicken with a side of coconut rice and sticky mango rice for dessert. To top it off our server Dan was so sweet and fast with our orders, will definitely be back for the food and service! Also- great location, easy parking and easy to find a table.
This is my second time coming to this restaurant and the food is out of this world. I got the panang salmon and it was so good! They serve big portions but its definitely worth the coins. The edamame was salted perfectly. I'm not a beer person but got the sake with the Sapporo beer and it was good as well. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
Ordered from this place for the first time via UberEats on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30 PM. Food came correctly with nothing missing.
Crispy Spring Roll - Filled with glass noodles & nothing else. Bland. Would not recommend.
Thai Iced Tea - Standard thai tea expected from a Thai restaurant.
Pad Kee Mow, pork, hot spicy - Not very spicy, but the flavor is good. Pork, peppers, & onions were cooked well & the pork was still juicy. Noodles were overcooked & broke easily.
Pad Thai, veggie, mild spicy - Has broccoli, baby corn, & bok choi - kind of strange. Tofu taste burnt. Pad Thai flavor average - could be stronger if sauce wasn’t so watery. Noodle texture good though - springy. Had better pad Thai elsewhere, but this wasn’t bad.
Pineapple Fried Rice, beef, fried rice, mild spicy - beef flavor is pretty good. Pineapple bland - must be fresh. Rice is flavorful, but would have liked more curry flavor, not just salt.
Overall, most things were pretty average. The only thing I thought was bad was the crispy spring rolls. Not sure if I’d recommend. Might come back in several months.
Si Lom is my favorite neighborhood gem! I go here probably once a week and it’s consistently good every single time. Whether it’s takeout or sit down, it’s always a large, hot, and delicious portion of food. I usually get the edamame and gyoza with some shrimp pad Thai and it’s so good!! The staff are all so so sweet and try to make us feel like regulars. Truly a happy place run by good people.
I love Si Lom!
Been ordering takeout from here for a few years now and it’s always a treat. Friendly service and good portions.
Probably won’t be back :(
I love this restaurant!!! I don't know too much about the drink selection, but they have a beautiful menu, with a variety of delicious options, including good plant based items. Go! You won't be sorry!
Food was fabulous and service was great.
Food was tasty, well cooked, not hurried, and pretty authentic. Service was friendly and by actual natives of Thailand. The ginger tea hit the spot.
I have been here several times over several years......it is always great food!
I now live in East Texas but I have made the 2.5 hr drive for the food!
Si Lom is a great Thai place. Food is amazing. I always get chicken Pad Thai. Their appetizers are also really good. Love coming here.
Kind of hidden. Downstairs across from the ATT store. I have been here twice and it was phenomenal both times! Saturday I got the BBQ pork fried rice. It was fantastic
Quiet setting, good food and really nice food service staff. Even when there's a bit of a crowd, it's usually quiet and allows for conversation.
Been coming here for many years. Always friendly service and delish food!
A local gem.
Food tonight was pre prepared and cold and the basil chicken wraps brown and stuck together. The fresh salad rolls with chicken we also not made fresh and the rice paper all stuck and hard. Rang to talk to the owner. Very inflexible. Said we are busy call me tomorrow and we will remake your food. I eat here every month and its disappointing they couldnt or wouldn't fix my order. Don't know what is wrong but the quality is just not here and for $70 a waste as it was not worth eating. I called to talk so not to have to leave a review but as I mentioned she was not interested in resolving
Awesome food even better service I highly recommend thank you for an awesome experience
Amazing curry, service was very patient
Had two starters. Both were nice the sauces were terrific
Food is really good, flavors are fresh, great ambience.
They never provide utensils for deliveries anymore. Lame. Save 10 whole cents and annoy your usual customers.
Edit: no changes made at restaurant ... They still skimp on the utensils
Edit: still no utensils!!!!!
loved this place, great food and service
Amazing food! Will go again.
Great food and cozy atmosphere!
From the website and menu, just seemed like your standard Thai place popping up around every corner in DFW. But man was I glad our group went here - it's for sure the best tasting Thai food I have had in DFW! The shrimp fried rice was awesome and I definitely want to be back just to have it again!
Service was really good too, they were more than happy to accommodate our large group and still let us order despite being so close to closing time.
FYI: Although the GPS will guide you to the front of restaurant which faces a busy roadway, there is parking behind the building, and there's a parking garage that goes underground and gives you a direct entrance to the restaurant.
My favorite Asian food in the DFW! Everything we had was so good and the presentation was great as well.
I live in Austin where you would think I could get good Thai. Si Lom hit the spot. If you like it spicy, ask for hot!
Check your receipt because there will likely be additional charges (gratuity, items that you didn't receive, or for asking for hot sauce). I had stopped going here because I had been overcharged 2 times in the past and the waitstaff didn't want to make it right. Tonight, a group of friends insisted on going and to our surprise, we were hit with 18% gratuity for just 5 of us. They operate in bad faith and it's unacceptable.
Great food and service
Really good noodle dishes here. I haven’t tried much else just because the noodles are so on point!
It started off good, but than we kept hearing something running in the ceiling, sounded like a very huge rat, we asked about it, the server did apologize, we tried to enjoy it, but it was constantly loud and we just couldn’t enjoy it. Still paid full price ( We didn’t ask for any discounts or special treatment) Left almost full plates at the table
Thanks for screwing up my order tonight!!!! I ordered two thai fried rice mild. Instead of mild I got extremely hot. I cannot eat hot food like that. Not only that but there was hardly any chicken in it and it was extremely dry. Bad quality guys. I'm surprised because usually your quality is better. HORRIBLE!!!!! I wasted my $40.00 tonight!!!!! I will think twice next time before I order from you again. Thanks for nothing Si Lom!!!!
I get 3 things and 3 things only: the papaya salad Thai style spicy, sticky rice and the beef jerky. I finish it all. This is the best most flavorful papaya salad I’ve ver had.
It took 10 minutes for wait staff to notice me at the bar area; grabbed a menu on my own and placed an order online while sitting at the bar. A waiter finally showed up just after I had submitted my online payment
Always good food and the staff are great we are frequent there!
Hard to find, but great food
Ordered takeout and the food was delicious and the service was great! YUM YUM IN MY TUM TUM
Really tasty food, very large portions, excellent prices.
Excellent takeout!
The food was ok. I ordered to go small soup and pad Thai noodles. The portion for one was for at least 3 people. Don't tell me, it is for big appetite, it's for lumberjack, it's not healthy.
Fantastic place
Always a good meal!
I think this one is one of peoples favorite Thai place in Oak Lawn, once you find this place and where to park you will come back for sure. The food can be pricey but it tastes great.
Great food, but customer service could be better. I had a small modification to my order (didn’t want eggs) and they did not allow me to make the change despite me ordering LESS than 5 minutes before calling to request the change. How is it that the food was already done in so little time? Perhaps the food is not cooked fresh? Extremely disappointing because I’m such a loyal fan of Si Lom but they should be more accommodating to special requests, especially when it’s a customer who’s come in so many times.
Found a bottle cap in my green papaya salad.
I recently found this tucked away little gem! I've been four times now and every experience has been consistent. Food is flavourful and hot, and I absolutely love the atmosphere! Service is definitely an extra bonus!
This place is just too good. We have been ordering it once a week now for delivery and it is always fresh hot and authentically delicious. The Pad Thai is the best I’ve found in Dallas. The portions are huge and reasonably priced. We love ordering in for date night with Si Lom!!!!
Excellent papaya salad!
Very tasty Pad Thai. The spiciness scale is toned down for non-spicy people so even at a 4/5, I didn't feel any burning. Service was good and prompt. The food was freshly made to order. The only drawback to this restaurant is its small size and lack of sound attenuation aids so it was very loud with a full lunch crowd. Overall, I highly recommend!
Dan is the man!!! One of the best kept secrets in Dallas!! Amazing drinks and phenomenal food!!! A must visit if you're in town!!
I don’t want to be a hater and maybe I just ordered the wrong dish but… this did not taste authentic 😭
Maybe it’s because I grew up in Southeast Asia and have also visited Thailand, I had pretty high hopes when I saw this being rated at 4.5 stars on Google..
However my beef noodle soup was way too sweet (in a sugary way, not from the beef bone broth as one would expect from a good beef soup), and the beef slices were also way too tough.
Service was fast and professional and I saw other diners come in groups of family, friends and also for date night. But besides the servers I didn’t see anyone else who looked like they were of southeast Asian let alone Thai heritage.. you get the idea; this place probably caters to a different palate.
Btw I usually polish off all the soup when I get noodle soup but for real I left more than half of it behind this time.
Still, convenient location, with a cute bar, clean and serving sizes are fair (albeit personally inedible)
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area and I can't believe I've never made a review before! The staff are attentive. The pad Thai is amazing with any of their proteins or as is. They have good cocktails to accompany your food with. Located downstairs, park around the corner on the street or across the street on the street.
Odd atmosphere being in a basement level. Not very authentic flavors after being in Thailand.
Amazing! Love this place. Everything is wonderful. A nice, romantic damn weather atmosphere so great for a date. It is and can’t get noisy. But the food is worth it.
Great food and service. Consistent over the years
Excellent service & food!
Yellow curry noodles are the absolute best! They also have an incredible marinated pork dish with sticky rice that is to die for. This is a quiet, semi-underground Thai spot - parking is tight in the garage, but the food is so good who cares.
It was my first time there. A friend was celebrating a birthday. There were 15 or so of us. The server was attentive and nice. Thai fried rice with chicken was good. The cucumber martini was delicious and refreshing for a hot summer day. The ambiance was nice and quiet except for our group. Definitely will eat there again.
-Edamame, steamed with salt, BOMB
-Shumai dumplings are more like meatballs with a dumpling wrap, BOMB
-Crab and cream cheese wontons (actually rolls), BOMB
-GYOZAS, fried crispy with a couple sauces on top, BOMB
-Pad Thai med spicy, SO BOMB
-Server Daniel, GREAT customer service
-Great Prices, all this for $69
They put heart skills and soul into this amazing cuisine!!!
The Panang Curry and Spring Rolls were amazing 🤤 Will definitely be back!
Obsessed with this place! They have the best Thai food in town and the servers are the sweetest. The salmon panang is excellent.
Exceptionally good food - fresh, flavorful, and good vibe
Short, old, skinny Asian lady with short hair was super rude on Saturday July 29 around 8:30pm, I came to pick up delivery order for someone and she said someone else had picked it up already and she was getting mad at me and blaming me for it, how is it my fault that the person assigned the delivery before me stole it? And she was telling me to deal with it as if it’s my problem. Such an ignorant lady, why does she even work there with no common sense.
Great food. I would highly recommend supporting them.
i got the beef pho, and it’s caused me the worst food poisoning, i can’t get off the toilet i’m in deep agony, this will be my last time eating here, beware.
Probably the best Thai I've had in Dallas
When it comes to how great this place is, Let me put it this way, I only have Two "Go to" eating spots, whenever i want to really get the most enjoyable meals. 1. Papasitos. 2. Si Lom. (ITS AMAZING). The dishes are so delicious Lord!! You can't eat too much of it though, because its the type of dishes that sneak up on you because of all those healthy fats...lol.
Last night was my very 1st time order from them.. I order through Uber Eats.. The food was great but what you not gone do is... Pass regular rice for Jasmine rice.. Then try act like I don't knw what I'm talking about... You got my rice wrong and didn't even try fix it... I been in food service since I 21 and I'm 41... So try play that game on someone that don't know!!!
All the food is phenomenal, I love their drunken noodles especially. Great for takeout or dine in, and they have some fantastic cocktails too.
Si Lom Thai Asian Fusion restaurant will take you in for a ride with their exquisite variety of curries, soups, noodles, salads. The smell of Thai food being prepared floats you in as you are seated and ready to order.
Ordered Pad Bhamme, Pad Woon Sen with Tofu with medium spice and Pineapple curry, slightly more spicy. Amazing!
Very kind waiters, good service and the whole place is a vibe.
If you are in Oaklawn, make a point to visit this place.
Wonderful Thai cuisine, excellent service, great attention to detail. Recommend the Basil Chicken Wrapped appetizer. The Green Papaya Salad (pic) is always delicious, such spicy umami packed into a healthier dish! And the Pad Thai is stellar, but give the Glass Noodle Pad Thai a whirl to change things up a bit. It doesn’t disappoint. (Try the Cucumber Martini, too!)
very nice staff and delicious food
Curries are awesome. Good vegetarian options
No words for how amazing this place is. The service was astounding, food was absolutely amazing. Best fried rice I've ever had. Will be back a whole bunch of times!!
First time visit. Server was super kind. The food was very good. A definite recommend.
Delicious tom kha soup and the cocktails are fun!
Wonderful atmosphere great food and the drinks on point.
Literally just left bc of their slow service…
The food and service is really good. The ambiance is very nice. This is a cute date night spot. Perfect for a secret rendezvous.
Food was excellent and service was top notch
My friend and I visited Si Lom for dinner. Quiet ambience, good seating, tons of menu options, good quantity and affordable prices. I ordered the Basil fried rice, while my friend went for a Kao Soi. The Basil fried rice was lovely, but I have tasted better ones, hence the 4-star rating. I sampled my friend's food briefly, and it was spectacular. I believe the Kao Soi might be the best item on their menu. We also ordered tofu vegetable rolls for appetizers. It came with a sweet, crunchy peanut sauce with a hint of chilli, and it was the best peanut thing I'd ever tasted (coming from someone who does not really like peanuts). I'd definitely visit again, and I'll most likely bump up the ratings as well!
Best Thai I've had in a long time. And finally, a place that will make a talk spice level 5... Pictured is the Pad Kee Mow with chicken, dinner portion. I wanted to finish it all, and I could have, but would have been uncomfortably full. Instead, I took maybe a third off it home for a midnight snack 🤤🤤🤤
Pro tip: they have a free garage you can park in
My favorite Thai restaurant in Dallas. It's one of those places where no matter what you order, it's always great and fresh and you never get tired of it.
I’m a big Thai food fan but this one did not impress me much. The food was average. Rice was not very tasty. Maybe I should have added higher spice levels than medium. I would say food was average, 3 1/2 stars. The parking was hard to find which is why I always avoided the place but I got lucky and went on a day when the liquor store was closed. I’m sure they have parking somewhere specifically for this place. Maybe I’ll try something differently or dine in next time. I’ll update my review according then after a second try. The noodles were better I will say.
This is our favorite Thai place. I’ve eaten at many Thai restaurants and I found their Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice to be the best.
Quickly became one of the favorite spots for me and my fiancé to eat. Great food, get the Pad Thai
They were stingy on the duck sauce.... my kids said there was barely any chicken in the fried rice
So came on a Monday night with my friend and the food was good but later as I got home I ended up vomiting all my beef curry and possible food poisoning. Service was great but not the food for me. Kinda was weird too with the gym next door. Kept hearing the thumps from the weights being dropped.
This our new favorite Thai restaurant. It's not easy to find, being below street level, but well worth the hunt. Great food and service, with a nice, cozy atmosphere.
I got the Yellow Curry with beef/shrimp Mrs. got the Orange Chicken. She tasted my curry and tried to swoop my dish away. Mrs. is a finicky eater, so she stays with what she is familiar with. She will get it next time we go there. I wanted to lick the bowl clean. LOL. Get the Shrimp Blanket appetizer.
I got the orange chicken and the Tom Kha soup. While the chicken was a tad bit dry, the soup was absolutely amazing. When I return I will likely get a bowl instead of just a cup because it was the best soup I’ve had in a long time. It’s been three days and I’m still craving it.
I ordered grub hub and got the shrip rolls, sticky rice and chicken large. I have family that are Lao/Thai/Khmer so I know both how to cook and how the food should taste. I was disappointed by the food as I had high hopes with the awesome reviews.
The shrimp rolls were dry no taste and the special sauce was very watery
The sticky rice was very gummy and mushy, not firm and sticky- they probably cooked it too long and kept cooking while in the plastic bags
The chicken Larb was not spicy and just tasted like lime.
Hoping it was just one time mishap and hope they do better next time.ĺ
Just received my food delivery and have NO SILVERWARE!!! I’m at a hotel and had to walk to get silverware, by the time I got back my food was cold. So glad I paid the delivery fee and Tio so I can eat my food with my hands. No customer service
I’ve loved everything I’ve had from here, from their variety of curries, to the satay and their KAO SOI especially is to DIE for
Excelente comida. Buena atención. Le recomiendo ir a este sitio y degustar las exquisiteces q pueden comer ahí. El postre riquísimo.
Very tasty and reasonably priced food, and great service.
I have been to Si Lom 3 times now and the Green Curry with Eggplant is DIVINE. It is intimate and the servers and staff were always polite and professional.
It was a Christmas gift ! Disappointed!
Came in about a little bit before 9pm. Did not get a menu, scanned menu at table. (Pointed that our because others were sitted and was given appetizers.) Waited 20 mins before someone brought us waters. Order our appetizers. After finishing them. Waited to see if someone was going to bring us the check. Walked up to ask for the check. Appetizers were good. Flavorful. Service was trash. Wanted to order main dish but didn't feel welcome or acknowledged. I like to give people the benefit of doubt. So, I will try again in because I want to order main course dishes.
Small venue but once you taste the food...you'll always return. Great for a first date!

Overall, most things were pretty average. The only thing I thought was bad was the crispy spring rolls. Not sure if I’d recommend. Might come back in several months.
Cool place, staff very nice, and the food fantastic. Stepped out of my norm by ordering something I've never had. So glad I did. The Kao Soi did not disappoint!
Attempted to dine in for lunch but was turned away by the hostess saying “we are already closed”. I know they close at 3p between lunch and dinner, but I would have thought they’d serve me if I arrive before a closing time. Add to it that they had 5 full tables of guests receiving food and I’m confused as to why I was turned away. The hostess offered no explanation as to why they wouldn’t serve me even though they obviously were open. Won’t be returning at 5p when they “reopen” for dinner.
For the record, if your closing hours online reflect a 3pm closing then you should honor any walk ins until that time if you want to provide GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. How is the general public supposed to know that you close the kitchen 15 minutes before your closing time?
Very great authentic Thai food.
This is my go to bowl when I am feeling under the weather. It magically brings me back to life and changes my mood instantly. Maybe it is made with love? Lol I love this place! My coworker recommended and I’ve been coming a lot recently. Still need to review their drinks at the bar! Will do that on a weekend when I am not at work. Love you guys!
It takes way to long to get subpar food.
A hidden gem - great for lunch or dinner and also for delivery. I particularly love their shared plates and the staff is always kind and welcoming.
Pineapple curry was so delicious. The atmosphere and service are great.
Great service, abundant and delicious food, bit pricey
Those were some of the best chicken wings I've ever had! Definitely going to be on my regular rotation when I'm in town.
I have been coming here for many years. And over the year the service has just gone down.
My most recent visit for lunch felt very short and rushed. I arrived at 2:08pm
Immediately when the waitress came to take my order she mentioned it was last called. I said don’t you close at 3pm?
When my food came so did the check. All at once. It was 3:37pm mind you.
At 2:50pm the server turned off the music. At this point I said something to the server that it’s very rude to rush a guest while dining. Mind you it wasn’t even 3pm. She claimed she claimed she was not rushing and then tried to deflect the situation and say I’m sorry if you think I was rushing you. It’s not thinking it’s what you actually do. I understand about wanting to get off and being in a hurry. As I just saw her walk out the building at 3:07pm But please of paying customers. As this will effect your business. As it did today.
Love the way the chef cooks the thai food here. Must try food is the Tom yum soup - spicy level 4/5 (felt like dying with 5/5) You might feel like its 100 degrees once you try this. The soup is balanced so well! You can also add noodles with this. Can say the food here are in my top 5 of thai food restaurants.
Food was very good as was the service. Ts a little hard to figure out where to park, but worth it!
Our waiter was very nice just the food that I had the chicken just tasted like it was off it was cooked but it had a funny taste to it and I have never been able to not eat a plate of food but I won't eat anything if it taste off the chicken tasted off the vegetables were not stir fried like they were in the past years ago I went to the same place and my food was excellent but this time in 2022 sept 21 not good the rice was the only thing that was good my friend he said his food was good we both had the same dish his was spicy mine was not just the chicken was off not good at all.
Some of the best thai food in Dallas. The green curry was amazing and the spice level was spot on. My new favorite place
I've been ordering delivery from Si Lom for a couple years. The pad thai and spring rolls are consistently delicious!
This will be in my weekly rotation! This place was great! Wish I had taken a photo of the Thai puffs or the Yellow Currey but they were so good they didn’t last long enough for a photo!
Very oily food. No parking area found
We visit Si Lom once per month. Food is always very good and service is always wonderful. I have tried many dishes here, and they have always impressed. Not overly expensive and we usually have leftovers to take home. The thai coffee is worthy of trying, so good.
I ordered the Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. First off the customer service was amazing. While I waited on my to-go order they gave me a glass of ice water and showed me where to sit while I wait. They were timely and professional. To top it all off the food tasted fantastic!
Dahn the server is amazing!
This was a great experience! The food was delicious and the server was very accommodating as well. The Thai tea stood out the most to me, very refreshing. The decor of this place is very unique. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the interior design. It’s a small, intimate restaurant that seems tucked away in a much larger building complex it’s apart of. A great date spot or a quiet option to have 1 on 1 conversations with a guests. Can’t wait to go back
I love shrimp pad Thai and their's was awesome and a huge portion!!!!
