Thai fusion bistro Knoxville, Tennessee. Asian influences from Thai, Japanese, and Chinese dishes.
Great little Thai restaurant in Farragut. The staff was very nice. We ordered the basil roll with shrimp, so fresh! We ordered the veggie spring rolls, peanut sauce curry with beef and noodles. All very good and fresh. They give you plenty of food too! I would recommend this restaurant if you like Thai food.
Best Thai food in Knoxville thus far. The spring rolls have a delicious flavor and an added plus the dipping sauce is extra delicious with a flavorful twist I’ve never received at any other Thai restaurant!
The red curry is great and definitely recommend! Service was very good and pleasant as well.
Very busy Friday night, but service was quick and friendly (if a bit rushed as they appear from the help wanted sign a bit understaffed). Food had great flavor. Sauces were not overly heavy but also not too light. I did have to share an entree with my wife so no spicy for me. Well done owners, chef and staff!
I recently dined at Little Bangkok with a sizable group of 24 people, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large party, ensuring that we were seated comfortably and served promptly.
One notable aspect of our visit was the restaurant's attentiveness to food allergies. They took the time to inquire about dietary restrictions within the group, demonstrating a commendable commitment to customer well-being. The waitstaff was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also adept at suggesting alternatives for those with specific dietary needs.
Moreover, the level of politeness exhibited by the entire staff was truly commendable. Despite the challenges posed by our group size, the servers remained courteous and efficient throughout the meal. It's evident that Little Bangkok places a premium on customer service.
The cleanliness of the restaurant also deserves mention. The dining area was well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant and hygienic atmosphere. This attention to cleanliness adds an extra layer of comfort to the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Little Bangkok exceeded expectations in catering to our large group, addressing food allergies with expertise, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience with a group or even for a cozy meal for two. Kudos to the team at Little Bangkok for a memorable evening!
This place was amazing! Real authentic Thai food that I missed so much from when I lived there!!!
Penang softshell crab and Thai ice tea!!! Wow, so delicious!!
I’ve never had Pineapple Sticky Rice, I’ve always had mango, and the waitress suggested this, and it was so good!
Everyone is so nice and friendly as well!
Im going to preface this by saying it’s Saturday night and they were busy.
With the said I called and placed my order at 5:27pm and was told that the order would be ready in 25-30 mins. I got there around 5:50. I did not receive my food until 6:26. Had I been told that it would be nearly an hour that would have been fine but instead I was told half that time and was never once given an update while I and several others with pickup orders sat around waiting.
The worst part of the whole experience and why I gave a 1 star review is only one item I ordered was hot the rest were all just barely above room temperature. Clearly my meal was made in portions and sat back there for who knows how long.
Have been going to Little Bangkok before it ever existed, use to eat at Asian Garden 3 times a week minimum and when they opened Little Bangkok I have been coming here. Food is fresh as it gets, always tasty and great people.
The tldr of this review is: you'll pay for your food whether you eat it or not (or whether it is edible or not).
Over the last 8 years that my wife and I have eaten at Little Bangkok it had been one of those restaurants where I never had a bad meal. Is it the best Thai food in town? There's probably better but the dishes here have been pretty solid. Tonight's dinner, unfortunately, both the appetizer and the entree were pretty bad and the response to my complaint was a learning experience.
First, if you like Thai spring rolls that are 98% shredded lettuce, Little Bangkok has you covered. There were supposed to be shrimp in there, and I did find a couple of what looked like pieces of baby cocktail shrimp hiding in the lettuce but a menu calling these shrimp spring rolls greatly oversold their shrimpiness.
Second, while the salt and pepper squid has been my go-to appetizer for years, I cannot recommend the salt and pepper squid entree -- at least not if the chef who was working this evening is going to be the one to prepare it for you. The squid, although white and cooked some, was squishy and the breading was whitish and moist.
My learning experience came when I pushed the dish aside after one piece of squid. I told our waitress that I didn't think this was properly cooked. She took my plate back to the kitchen and returned to tell me that in the chef's judgment it was properly cooked and I was wrong. As she started to tell me how their squid should taste, I politely interrupted and mentioned that we had been customers since the early 2010s and I regularly got their salt and pepper calamari appetizer so I knew how they usually make their squid. She asked if I wanted to buy a different entree but at that point my wife was over half done her meal (it took a while to flag the waitress down in the nearly empty restaurant) so I said no.
When the check came my entree was still on it. So the moral of this story is that Little Bangkok will make you pay for your meal whether it is edible or not.
Great 👌
I’ve eaten here hundreds of times over my time in Knoxville. This is the best Asian food in the city.
Very good but no parking. I had the pad thai. I recommend!
Great food got the shrimp and scallop Keaton
It smelled gross like sewage when I walked it, lost my appetite immediately 🤢

My favorite! Great service and food!!!

It is my number one to go restaurant
Best Thai food we've ever had!
Best Asian food in West Knoxville Farragut area.
Consistently good food with amazing flavors. Restaurant itself is okay with rows of tables set close together.
We go almost weekly 😊 I highly recommend!
Got takeout, very good food, attentive staff, and nice atmosphere! The crab rangoon was not the best, there wasn't enough filling and the dough tasted too greasy, but the fried rice is really good, and my hubby liked his pad Thai. We will be back!
They aren't kidding when they warn you that Thai hot is really hot. Finally, a place that doesn't mess around when it comes to spiciness!
Always a great experience
Had a very hospitable and knowledgeable server. I asked for her recommendations and was not disappointed.
Good food good service reasonable price
Love their food!
Best Tom Ka Kai coconut soup ever!
Love these folks. Absolutely best Thai in Knoxville and always super service
If you go at 755 they will refuse to seat you… unless you are a blue hair that eats dinner very early don’t bother…

Red Chilli duck is soo good!
We love the food. But we enjoyed our conversations with Eileen even more! She is so lovely and helpful!
We love this place. The food is the best in knoxville for this type of food.
It's pretty good but not my favorite for the area. They have a large menu with a lot of options. I think it's the atmosphere and smell that throws me off. The curry is good and the do have gf options
I’ve been looking for a Thai restaurant that could compare to my favorite place from out of state since I moved here in January. THIS IS IT! 100/10, get the Massaman curry and make it SPICY! We got takeout but the gentleman who took our order had fabulous energy. We’ll be regular customers! Can’t wait to come back!
We loved the menu options and that items were clearly labeled that could be made vegetarian/vegan. The food was delicious and it was spiced so well. Highly recommend!
Always a good choice to go to. Great curries.
Delicious curry and hubby enjoyed his drunken noodles.
By friendly staff and good food.
This family owned and operated restaurant did not disappoint! Their blend of spices are amazing, and I've been to MANY Thai restaurants across the country to be able to know the difference!
The ginger chicken was really good. Some of the food came out ahead of other dishes by a fair amount of time and ahead of the rice bowl that was supposed to accompany it. Otherwise we enjoyed all the food here.
Fabulous fabulous fabulous fooood!
I was so impressed by the flavors in the grouper my husband got and my fried rice was perfect! 10/10 would recommend
Best in Knoxville area
Good service Good food, and Nice atmosphere.
BEST hot and sour soup ever...please don't change it!!
One of the best Thai restaurants in the area, hands down! Always great food and excellent service. Highly recommend!!
YUMMMM!!!!
I was hesitant to try Thai food in east TN after not having had it since 2010. It surpassed my expectations. The quality and accuracy of it was fantastic. I also felt welcomed and respected by who I assume to be the owners. I will gladly return. My 5-year old daughter tried Thai food for the first time and loved it. :)
Best Thai food in Knoxville!!
The food is really good. The massamun is awesome. Its the best Asian food in town
I've eaten here three times. The food is mediocre compared to some other Thai places in town (Chaiyo is the best), but we were hungry and had committed to eating in west Knoxville.... we stopped at two different restaurants which were packed, before we went to Bangkok. We arrived at 7:58 on a Friday night. The owner stepped up and told us they were done serving for the night. The sign on the door says they close at 830. We won't be back.
Great food and great staff.
Green curry was amazing, the spice levels are on point & the pricing is reasonable
Red chili duck was really good. Crispy and the flavor was really good, spice level was great too, they didn’t make it mild
Delicious! No other word for it. And quick!

Beautiful restaurant with the best Thai/Asian food in Farragut! My husband loves the pad Thai super spicy and I always get sesame chicken with fried rice. It’s always so good both dine in and takeout. Staff is very helpful and friendly as well and the restaurant is decorated nicely!
Little Bangkok has always been my go-to Thai restaurant. Everything is always delicious.
Love the food but they won't answer the phone to order takeout- message says mailbox is full. Very frustrating.
Delicious food with a wide variety. All entrées can be customized to your desired heat level to make all taste buds happy. 😁 This is now our go to Asian restaurant and we happily eat here practically once a week. The owner even remembers what we like to drink and our go to appetizer when we come in. It's a friendly, quiet, restaurant with delicious food, where we feel welcome.
Very delicious food!! Great service!!!
Best sweet basil with shrimp! The Red Chili Duck is pretty amazing too! The hot and sour soup is unique and the best in Knoxville! I love this place 🥰!
Absolutely love this place. Aside from the food being delicious, the servers (especially Eileen, make you feel like home). I would 100% recommend the drunken noodles.
There phone doesn’t work 1/3 of the time, so I often can’t make togo orders. Otherwise they are great.
Order food ( 7/25/23 afternoon around 3 pm) by phone and they said it will be ready in 20 minutes. When we got there they said another 20 minutes but it took another 40 minutes to get three orders of fried noodles. Bad service and food is not good either.
I think we were overcharged above the menu prices. We only ordered 5 vegetarian plates and two orders of spring rolls, no drinks, and our bill was over $100... Menu prices said about 13.99 per plate, I guess they charge more if you don't want meat...
This is our go to Thai restaurant and we make special trips from oak ridge because it’s the best. The food is always delicious and delivered quickly and our service is always phenomenal. We usually get Eileen and she is the sweetest and always remembers us! We always order the drunken noodles and lo mein and not once have we been disappointed. Highly recommend Little Bangkok!
It always amazes me that this place isn't constantly packed out. Service is a little slow because of staffing issues but the people are friendly and attentive. Food is top notch. My favorite is the Pad Thai but you really can't go wrong with whatever you choose.
As good or better than I remember it! After mentioning this place in passing to my wife, we decided to go. I had eaten there several years ago, but just haven’t been in the area in some time. We made the hour journey, and am glad we did. We started with the beef kebabs, which were delicious. I ordered the chicken with peanut sauce, and she ordered the lemon (or lemon pepper, cannot remember ) chicken.
Everything was what we were expecting and then some! My wife has travelled Thailand extensively, and she said that without a doubt, this food was authentic, and even BETTER than any she had there.
Tried to place a to go order. Was put on hold endlessly. There is a Thai place one block away, ordered from there.
food is ok but the waitress/hostess/attendants lack basic etiquette and seem to be always in a hurry. not the place where you feel at home.
Great service, delicious food, clean and fast
Great food and Eileen is the best waitress Ever!
absolutely loved it. the atmosphere is nice and our service was great. the food was amazing. i appreciate the spice ranking they offer, even at level 4 my food was extremely flavorful and not painful spice levels. will definitely be returning!
ps the potstickers are wonderful
Got the pad see eaw. It was pretty good. Once we got our meal we didn't see the waitress again until it was time to pay.
Fair
This is a fantastic Thai restaurant. The food was fantastic!! The service was very good.
Great food and excellent service...a little pricey but very much so worth it. Excellent. I will be back soon
Very tasty.
Food was good. Service was ok
Delicious and fresh Thai food! This restaurant is a gem! There are plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. The staff was very kind and attentive.
Quite possibly the best Thai we've ever had. Great service and super speedy too!
The food was phenomenal, and everyone was very friendly. I'm definitely going back, and if you like duck. This is the place to go.
Bussin! Bussin!
Hot and sour soup is fantastic! Other dishes were very good, but the soup was the highlight. Definately recommend for good thai food.
The quality is degrading. Ordered over the phone, completely messed my order and did not even correct it. Highly disappointed.
Very nice place. Staff is very friendly food is great 👍. Been there 3 times this year already. Wife loves it. It’s our go to place.
Absolutely the best.
You better double triple check your order because they are not competent enough to hand you the correct order. And when you have to drive all the way back to tell them they blame it on you. Great employees they have working here right now.
Love this place. The Orange Peel Beef is my favorite. And the lettuce raps are amazing.
5/5 stars; easily, hands down, the best drunken noodle in the entire Knoxville area.
Service was great, food was fresh and great taste!
Been coming here for years and always great staff and great food! I’d recommended the drunken noodle or house lo mein! You won’t regret a visit here.
I had a wonderful experience. Dispite being incredibly busy I was served a wonderful meal. I look forward to I going back with friends.
Best thai food in Knoxville!!!
Cold inside, no heat. You needed a jacket.
Absolutely delicious! I had the drunken noodles. The staff were great and didn't overcrowd like a few restaurants I've been to. Great recommendations.
This place is awesome! They were both short staffed and packed when we ate there, and they still managed to keep us taken care of very well! The food is ALWAYS top notch.
We placed the order with a 30 min pick up time. We arrived promptly. We paid for the order but noticed it wasn't complete. We told the server we were missing the soup. She said; didn't they call to tell you we were out? They informed us they didn't have the hot and sour soup. However they charged for it. So since it was one of the two meals we ordered we ask what other soup options were. We choose one and it was a couple of bucks more so they rang that up. Seriously you would think for the inconvenience they would let that go.We waited about 7 minutes for that soup while the other meal got cold. We will not go back! The food wasn't great. The restaurant had a sewage smell.
Best authentic Thai & Chinese food, takes a bit to get your food as they make it fresh but totally worth the wait.
The best Thai place I've been in a long while. Definitely going to have to come back out here.
Food was worth the long wait. Everything was absolutely amazing!!
Had the Drunken Noodles. Some of the best I've ever had. In short, delicious!
Great Thai food, have been back, will go again.
Not worth it. We tried this place twice and both times it was overpriced, mediocre food. For almost $20 a person it should have been better than this. This is also the only asian food place I know of around here that has everything a la carte. If you order something like sweet and sour chicken or sesame chicken or something that is all you get for $15. If you want some sort of rice or noodles to go with it is is another $3-$5 extra.
3 of my coworkers got their credit card numbers stolen that day when we dined here 3 weeks ago. Luckily I paid cash so I wasn’t hit.
0 stars for communication. Apparently they are closed Sept 19-26 for vacation but it is not listed on the website NOR on the voice-mail, just a paper sign on the door. Please update technology communications so we don't drive out there just to be disappointed.
Fresh food and great service
Disappointed came in to dine for the first time (usually do pickup) waited 30 minutes for them to try and sit us in the middle of the room elbow to elbow with other customers and seat the people who had just come in with a bigger and better table. From now on we will just order carryout. Should of been able to choose where we sit.
The food here is very good. I crave the yellow curry and mango sticky rice weekly.
I have only ordered takeout here. Recently ordered pad thai with egg as my protein. The dish tasted great and was very hot even after waiting a while to eat but it was pretty much just a container of noodles for $14.19. The serving was a large single serving, not enough for leftovers.
It would also be nice for the server (not every one, just one in particular) not to aggressively make eye contact and circle the tip line every time I come in, I always leave a tip with carryout since I was also restaurant FOH for 15 years.
Great food & service never crowded love the variety
Waited fir 30 minutes for a table which understandable. Booth opened. Party of 4 walked in behind us. Hot sat at booth. Left us up front. 15 minutes later tried to seat us a party of 2 with a baby at a 2 top within elbow reach of the table next to us. Needless to say we left with out eating.
Great flavor! Awesome service and the food was so so fresh! We had the duck ramen and the fish poke bowl. The ramen was HUGE! Definitely worth what I paid. I highly recommend for good Thai food. When someone asks for the best Thai food in Knoxville I always tell them Little Bangkok.
Great place to grab lunch!
Quick lunch. Everything was very fresh. Husband had the happy family and the quality of the scallops was better than expected! I had the daily special which was green curry over udon noodles with shrimp. The sauce to noodle ratio was good and it was well mixed so each bite had a nice coating. I think for the regular rice version they put in more veggies though. They are not joking with the spice! My curry was a 3 and my nose was sweating. Their Tom kha is also nice and tangy. Tried the basil rolls and one entrée came with a spring roll - both were standard and solid.
Very cozy environment! I had ordered pad thai and it was simple and delicious. Prices are fair and portions are great! I'd definitely always come out with extra food while feeling full. Only complaint is I'd asked for very spicy and got not spicy at all.
Would reccomend.
This place is amazing good!!! Friendly service.they recently open dine in!!.in love with the red chilies duck “omg” to die for!! I’ll be back!!!
I had lunch here with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The menu is extensive & reasonably priced, including both Thai & Chinese dishes. They allow the diner complete control over the desired level of spiciness. The dish I had was really good and completely filled me up. The service was prompt, efficient and friendly.
Excellent drunken noodles. Other entrees are quite good as well
As a long time customer who supported them throughout the pandemic I am sorry to say will never go here again. If you can’t post proper hours don’t be in business. We specifically called and we’re told close at 830. Arrive at 745 told dining room is closed, take out only. Done with this place. Plenty of other options.
My family and I where in turkey Creek area and looking for a Chinese restaurant. And we found this nice little restaurant. Is not only Chinese, they have a different types of Asian food, and is so good.
Absolute best yellow curry! Actually, everything is so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. Pho is awesome.
Overall, really good food. Often get drunken noodles that are very good. Was very disappointed when ordering schechuan chicken as the menu indicated that it was spicy. It was take away order and when I got home was very sweet. Understand there are variations in sauces, but if you are listing one as hot then that's how it should be.
Absolutely delicious
The salt and pepper calamari was my favorite part of the meal, it was cooked perfectly. I was a little sad they didn't have Thai iced tea but overall the food was ok/good.
Went in and a customer said they didn’t think they were open for dining. They are open for sit down!! Staff is short as posted on their door but they will not disappoint. Our lovely waitress had another nice woman assisting her. We were given an app to snack on and chilled glasses and were never without anything we needed. Amazing food and fast service!! They were amazing I would give 100 stars if possible. Hard to imagine they’d have any trouble being short staffed with the service we received. I watched our waitress do Togo wait on us and bartend!! This place is phenomenal with amazing food. My two year old loves her kids meal and we have dined it and order Togo since!! If you’re wondering go there now!!! The place is clean and so comfortable! I’ll be back every week. They are wonderful. Food is to die for.
the best asian and thai food I've had in knoxville! the peanut sauce is delicious. i cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
Delicious foods, seems always crowded.
Incredibly overpriced for flavorless poor quality food. If I want bad Chinese/Thai food I can go to other places and get the same exact thing for half the price.
