Sushi, sashimi & specialty rolls round out a menu of familiar Chinese & Japanese dishes.
Great service , food was brought out pretty quick. I’ve had better sesame chicken and honey walnut shrimp for less but it was still good. Chicken was nice and crispy, then noodles were also great. Honey walnut shrimp was 100% not worth the price. Fuji lava roll is recommended
This is my favorite place to eat. Me and my boyfriend come here all the time and the staff are very friendly and the food always comes out quick and delicious. I recommend the Kung Pao Chicken to anyone who likes something a little spicy and the Fuji Lava Roll to anyone who loves spicy mayo!
We found the service not up to par. Our young unkempt, sloppy waiter had no customer service experience and no serving training. Not a clue . He'd be better off at a fast food joint.
Our drinks were refilled after 4 requests. One out of 3 orders was totally messed up , and had to be redone . Dipping sauces were not put with our order and finally issued when we almost finished our meal .
The meals, though alot on the plate...tasteless. Asked for chopsticks, everyone forgot. Total fiasco. We normally sit at the bar and advise to do so if you want to brave it.
Bathrooms filthy, hall leading to bathroom the same.
For the money, I wouldn't recommend until management gets off their butt and train their staff to give customers what they pay for.
All in all this place has gone downhill the last 3 months.
This is my go-to place! Most importantly, they have gluten-free options. Ask for Layla. She's wonderful. I went today and had shrimp in lobster sauce. Good portion. I should have taken pics because it was delicious 😋 I don't think there was one thing that I had ordered that I didn't like.
Food was excellent. Expensive, but everything we got was very good. This place is great for work dinners since it is a little pricey, and there's so many different food options.
If I were there with my wife only I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much just due to not being able to order such a big variety of food. Each tapas style plate is like $20-30 so it adds up quick.
Short ribs were great btw. I did not enjoy the bone marrow at all, thought the texture was very gross.
Service was honestly iffy, the hostess was pretty rude when I asked her about placing a Togo order. Just gave me a menu and said order at the bar when ready, there's two bars and as a first time customer is was very confusing. I understand being busy, but nobody spoke to me for a few minutes or said “Be right with you” when I was waiting to be helped. I wasn't even sure if I was in the right place to do a Togo order, the lady who took my order was sweet but said it would be about 10 minutes and I was sitting there for nearly 30 before I got up and went to the bar and she handed me my bag. I had been watching people pick up orders for 20 minutes extra than I was told, I had only ordered a single noodle dish and a cup of soup. No idea how long my order had been ready because of the lack of communication, I had to ask beforehand to see how long it would even take. Nobody told me my order was ready, which could've been helpful considering I was waiting for someone to tell me. Overall the experience wasn't entirely enjoyable, definitely could've been better if the workers communicated more. I just hope the food is worth it lol.
My husband and I visit Fulin's when we come to Cleveland to visit my parents. We stop for sushi, and you will agree that their sushi is so fresh and delicious...the best in town.
Fulin's is so good! We only order take-out, and we never have to wait long. The service is nice and the bartenders are remembering us, and they know what cocktails we will order!
We highly recommend Fulin's!
I always leave at 20% tip! But, I had to get my own chopsticks, our initial drink order came out late and I actually had to go to the bar and pick up our own drinks, because apparently our server wasn't aware that they have been sitting there for over 5 minutes and one was supposed to be served hot!

The food was good as always, but the service today was some of the worst I’ve ever had! Walked in at about 1pm, lunch time, the hostess seemed to be in a bad mood, didn’t even greet us or tell us to follow. Just walked off to a random table and started setting up. Didn’t tell us our waiters name or anything. It took our waiter about 20 minutes to even come greet us or get drinks ( building was about 1/4 full. Not busy at all. The waitress from the table next to ours finally took part of our drink orders and finally got us a drink menu. About 5 minutes after that (20 minutes waiting for the rest of us to order drinks) our tables waiter reimi g. Finally takes our drink orders and appetizers. Never even introduced himself or anything. He forgot one of our parties crab rangoons that we clearly ordered Drinks were made and sitting at the bar for 10 additional minutes before he even brings them to our table. After about 30 minutes of sitting with no drinks, we finally get them and get our food ordered. One of our party ordered an egg roll that he never brought and still charged them for. He not once filled one of our tables sweet teas, the next tables waitress had to again, do reimis job for him. Reimi would just walk around lost and then hide in the back and not acknowledge us. He finally brings our food and he’s touching food with his hands while grabbing the plates. Handing them out. (Gross). Then at the end I show him my card and bill and he walks away without taking it, Then 2 bills in our party paid cash and he messed up the change on both bills. Owed one 11.80 and only gave ten “to make it easier for him to make it out” in his words. both parties having vast food industry experience still left a bigger tip than he deserved. Besides reimis horrible service, food was good. Reimi Definetly needs to learn how to be a good waiter. Not let other waitresses do his job for him.

Always loved this place
We frequent here a few times a month. The building is in desperate need of some remodel and the service has gradually declined
Service was awful. Food is disgusting. Host was rude. Worst place to go.
Horrible!
Food, looks and tastes terrible! Atmosphere is run down, there are things missing, holes in everything. Service, hit or miss, because new staff constantly.
This was the most awful experience. Took family from out of town to celebrate a birthday. Waited 1 1/2 hours for our food. Nothing came. We paid for egg rolls and a few soups. They tried to get is to pay and take our order to go. What a nightmare. We also had 3 children that were starving. Embarrassing. Was our favorite eat out place. Never again.
Food was excellent. Expensive, but everything we got was very good. This place is great for work dinners since it is a little pricey, and there's so many different food options.

Food has always been good here my only issue is the size to price ratio. The food is good for a small town place but seems kinda high on the prices. Best item wonton soup they have quarts it is great to get felling under the weather or something like that. Over all this place is good
Food flavor was good but cold. Service was nonexistent. She was nice but completely absent. Restaurant was empty so no reason we didn’t get all of our food, didn’t get refills, had to chase someone down to pay our bill. She told us to wave her down if we needed something but she disappeared from the dining area the whole time we were there.
The service here remains slow it’s a constant wait for waitress wait for drinks wait for food wait wait wait food is good but step up the service and clean your floors it’s not to much to ask.
Love this place!! My favorite bartender is there, all the bartenders are fantastic there. Kev
I ordered a vegan curry rice, the order was taken as (Vegan vegetable fried rice-Add tofu and vegetables). The order had egg in it, I asked them to replace them since I don't eat eggs, and they did replace it but they added egg again. My friends ordered Curry fried rice with chicken which did not taste good.
This is the only restaurant I will eat at all because my food allergies. I have a very sensitive celiac problem and I never have problems with anything I order. Service is always excellent
Great service , food was brought out pretty quick. I’ve had better sesame chicken and honey walnut shrimp for less but it was still good. Chicken was nice and crispy, then noodles were also great. Honey walnut shrimp was 100% not worth the price. Fuji lava roll is recommended
Was assured it was Gluten Free. It was not at all. I haven’t been that sick with a Celiac Attack in Many Years. Will never go back.
Bland and unimpressive would be the nicest things I could say about the dishes we ordered. The food was lukewarm when it finally arrived. Don't bother spending your money here!
Always a pleasure. Friendly staff, clean, suberb and flavorful food and sushi.
We had an exceptional waitress who was just the sweetest person ever! Our food had a couple mistakes but they was awesome about getting it fixed and addressed ASAP.
Everything was great, especially since Hailey served us. She made my day.
The Kung pao chicken was awful a overwhelming amount peanuts and bell peppers.
I get lomein and sushi just about every week, love it!!!
Food was delicious and you can tell the kitchen really cares about the quality of the food and how well it’s plated, but in all honestly our waitress Emily tied the restaurant together she was superb! You can tell the young lady loved her job and knew all about the food and was very attentive. I’m usually apprehensive to leave a review but she gave such great service I had too. If you eat here ask to sit with her.
Food was excellent and Annie is a gem of a bartender. Will be back and highly recommend
Been going to Fulin's as a treat every so often for about two years now. I've not once had a bad experience. Wait staff is always amazing, food is GREAT. I try to get new things every time I go but I cannot resist the Thai Tea and Crab & Cream Cheese Tempura every single time I go.
I was pleased to find out that they even have a vegan menu. The food was very good and the servings were very generous so I was able to take home half of it for the next day.
Everything was impeccable.I don't have a single complaint. From the beginning to the end just a great experience.I can't wait to go back
Pretty bland and basic. The fortune cookie had more flavor, depth and personality than the meal.
Food was great and the waitress was awsome! If in the area definitely try it. I haz food from the vegetarian menu and my husband from the regular menu we both loved our dishes.
I love Fulin! Great food Great options! the even have gluten free options! which is hard to find here.
This is a great place. The food is really good. The staff is always super nice and accommodating. The service is quick. I definitely recommend!!
Food was ok. Not what my wife was hoping for. I thought the egg rolls were awesome!!!
She had the chicken fried rice... Said it was ok... Just not spectacular.
This was my second time popping in for takeout at Fulin’s. The food was delicious both times and I was very pleased with the bartender, Jenny. She was so welcoming and very attentive. I also met some very delightful locals who treated me to my meal! Thank you M+C, you guys made my trip!! If I ever find myself back in the area, I will definitely be back!
Good food but panda garden is better and more authentic
Amazing food, great hospitality. Big 👍🏻 for them. Not too pricey for awesome food and great honest people.
Food wasn't that great. Made my daughter sick n my son in law n me had splitting headache after eat there.
Seating needs upgrade. Seats in many booths seriously torn. Declined to sit in first 3 booths offered because of tears in the seats
We love the food and appreciate the Vegan menu. Some days we sit at the bar for drinks and appetizers and others we get a table and bring the family. We haven't had a bad experience.
Food and service were very good. I especially like lo mein, spring rolls and sushi. highly recommended
Fulins (Cleveland TN) has improved. The food has gotten better, but unfortunately the dining experience is impacted by broken seating. I'll explain. The last two time I've dined in I've been seated at two different booths with broken seats. Now days I just do take out. But I can't give this place 5 stars.
Affordable and delicious. I'll definitely go back
Very underwhelming. Fried rice is rice and eggs only. Flavor didn’t do anything for us. We ordered the General and Sweet and Sour pork. The eggs rolls are very greasy.
This place is amazing. Faith is awesome!!!!!! Lunch special is amazing!!!
We went here for the positive reviews of the vegan menu. We'd eaten at Fulin's before, but it's been a couple of years. I'm hoping it was an off day, but a few items were severely underseasoned. The curry fried rice used to be a favorite, but as a vegan order it tasted very bland. The pad Thai was unsauced! Just plain noodles. Same thing with the chow fun. We were pretty shocked.
On the plus side, the moo shu veggies and cashew vegetables were good.
If this is what their vegan food is always like, however, I don't understand the good reviews.
Great price for real food!
Layla was great server. Food was hot and fresh. Great to see familiar faces back at Fulins
I don't know what I liked best. Everything was great. Our waitress (Emily K.) was very informative. Our drinks were great. Our appetizers were great. Our main entrée was great. We will be back soon with more people !!!
Glad to find a place to get my sushi fix here in Cleveland. Everything was well prepared including the other dishes we ordered. Reasonably priced. Will visit again.
Best sushi in town, so fresh! All there food is fresh
Great food/especially cashew chicken/ the best waitress !!!❤
Beautiful restaurant. Great service! Excellent food!!
I'm giving the restaurant 2 stars to give them the benefit of the doubt. Because we've eaten here several times and it was very good. But this particular night it was a one star experience. The server did a good job, but the food was well below par. In fact, my wife nor I could eat the egg rolls. And neither one of us got anywhere near halfway through our meal because it was just not that good. This visit was for a birthday celebration for a friend with 11 at the table and several others had the same opinion.
Great food and good service.
Great Sushi!
All around a spectacular visit! The sushi was amazing and our waitress was so friendly, attentive and suggested things on the menu since it was our first time there. 10/10 recommend! Coming back again <3
The atmosphere is great, customer service is great.
We took my husband here for his birthday the atmosphere is dated and a lot of broken things. Service is great the food is very basic and not really special. We won’t be back after they failed a health inspection so spectacularly. Thawing raw chicken in a bowl of water open. I like my life I won’t be back
I used to really like this place until I saw that they had received a 56 on their last health inspection. The notes from the inspection are quite disgusting.
I love this place, I really do. What I don’t love is how many times they continue to fail their health inspections. They scored a 51 on their most recent inspection (November 2023) and they’ve failed it multiple times. How they’re allowed to repeatedly fail inspections and remain open is beyond me. Their menu is great, I especially love the Rock City Roll and their Hot and Sour Soup, but I can not in good faith continue eating there when I know how they operate. It’s not uncommon to fail an inspection from time to time but it keeps happening and doesn’t seem like they’re taking the necessary steps to correct it. Truly a shame.
This is my go-to place! Most importantly, they have gluten-free options. Ask for Layla. She's wonderful. I went today and had shrimp in lobster sauce. Good portion. I should have taken pics because it was delicious 😋 I don't think there was one thing that I had ordered that I didn't like.
What a nice little find. Pleasant place to stop just off I-75. The food was perfectly cooked. I had the Birds Nest and my husband had the Happy Family.
Special on well done Sangrias for $3. Was missing seafood and it nice to know I can get some tasty seafood close to home.
I love this place. The people are perfect and there’s so much personality and every visit is unique. The food is a 10 out of 10 the atmosphere is great and you never know what will happen or the kind of conversation that will develop. It’s in my top 5
So, I normally love Fulins, other than a terribly long wait, the food is generally good. My favorite meal at Fulins is the Miso Soup. It is my go to, when dieting, sick, or just the craving. Unfortunately, I am leaving a bad review, because Fulins disappointed me tonight. We called a little over 30 minutes before closing to pickup a to-go order. We ordered our food, including a Bowl of Miso Soup. We headed to the restaurant, very excited about our food, and I, especially excited about my miso soup. As I am currently doing a religious fast, and cannot have meat. Leaving me with brown rice, vegetables, and my cherished Miso Soup. We arrived, and my boyfriend went in for our food. When he came back out, he had all our food except it lacked my Miso Soup. Which is the staple of my meal. When questioned where it was, he explained, they dumped all of the Miso out before we called. Which was over 30 minutes before they closed. Which is not only frustrating, but ridiculous. Then, he told me that he asked about adding some edamame to our order, because I have no longer have a complete meal. They said they had already sent home their cooks, and they had not even closed yet. My boyfriend used to be a server, and no one was good to go until closing. I’m writing this review in hopes that someone in management sees this and makes a change. I understand if the soup was dumped out 5 or 10 minutes before close, and we walked in after that to dine-in. However, we ordered to-go over 30 minutes before close. I think it should be important to remember that some people have dietary restrictions, and if their meal staple is soup, when dumped out early, they may not be able to be served. Just my thoughts, and expressing my frustration. Take it how you’d like.
I came here with my mother randomly just to spend time and every single time we stop by it is a great experience. Layla was an amazing and courteous server! The food we had this time was the Seafood combo and I was very satisfied with the dish. The atmosphere was calm even though we showed up at a dinner rush! They handled it very well. I hope to visit here again soon!
First visit 10/25/23 was disappointing. House specialty sushi was bland and served in an unappealing manner. All the rounds of sushi shoved together with handful of shredded crab thrown on top.
Worst Mu Shu pork of my 60 year's. Large peices of vegetable left half raw, what pork was there was tiny strips that were deep fried to crunchy nothingness, and yes this dish has a cabbage base but should it be 3/4's of the ingredients?
Service was the bare minimum of okay, very few tables to take care, and it was all the young server could handle.
Perhaps in the past this restaurant earned the high star rating, they don't seem to care to maintain it.
Ginny the bartender was amazing! The food and drinks were almost as good. Will return on my next visit!
This restaurant was struggling a bit at the beginning of the year, but they have really turned it around. The staff is much better, and the food is more consistent. I'm happy.
Will not return!
Friendly and efficient staff.
Tasty food.
Great service, food looked so good, very fresh! Hailey was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. I also met the GM she is just the best!
Was pleasantly surprised they have a vegan menu. Everything was delicious and the staff was wonderful.
Their are 2 sushi joints in town one of them is exactly the same as it always has been, but Fulin's had continued to improve. Their sushi chef is trained in Japan, and this adds a layer of authenticity to the dishes which were portioned well and tasted fresh.
We had the fried dumplings, sushi, and drinks from the well-stocked bar. The staff was helpful, prompt, and courteous. I didn't have a single complaint. Which is pretty amazing.
General tso was ok had better. Service was good. We sat outside which was great.
Everything was great. But then they played friends theme song, and I realized I was in a strip mall.
Y the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant, I entered with my wife and kids and was instantly greeted with what seemed like disgust. The entire time the woman at the front seemed irritated I was even there, and every interaction expressed her incredible lack of wanting to serve us. It was so bad we got up and left before we could even order food. I rarely even leave reviews but felt compelled to warn anyone who is planning on spending their hard earned money to avoid this place at all cost.
Emily is the best server ever, she’s always engaging with us, she takes care of us always on top of everything, we love her! 10/10 recommend her .
The restaurant was busy, so it did take a while for our waitress to take our order, but that's to you expected. Our appetizer took 45 hours Minutes to come out and was cold, but the server was very nice about it. We ordered four sushi rolls and they were amazing. This is our sushi spot.
First time eating at Fulin's...will visit again and recommend to friends and family. Great place!
My wife and I go there for the sushi which is the best I've had almost anywhere. My favorite is the sashimi dinner and I add a couple of small rolls. The slices of fish are generous and the white tuna and salmon are "to die for". Once, I was a fan of toro (fatty tuna) which was good but I could almost never find it but white tuna is even better. I had never had it before eating at Fulin's and it keeps me coming back. For sushi, the prices are very reasonable and the service was excellent! We spent just under a bill there (not including tip) but we also had drinks and and appetizer and at current restaurant prices that's really not bad for a good meal. The atmosphere there is ok for a strip mall and the seating has seen better days, but heck, I'll sit on an unpadded crate to enjoy their food. In fact, I would vote for keeping the current seating if the prices stay moderate. I also recommend trying the raspberry tea (they have other flavors as well) if you like that sort of thing.
Our friends introduced us to this restaurant. Love it!
Trusting the 800+ reviews, I ordered food for pickup and did not inspect after leaving the premise. Upon opening the containers to what I thought would be freshly cooked meals, the meats in all rice dishes were dry and rubbery, and the sweet and sour chicken breading was most certainly stale. As nice as the manager/order taker was, serving old food is not right. Just lost a customer.
Favorite place for sushi, great service! The other food is good too. Highly recommend
A little pricey, but worth it.
The server we had was amazing, the building could use some updating and just a thought, play some hammered dulcimer music instead of the best of Bread. The food was flavorful and well cooked with the following exceptions. The fried rice needs work, and when you have Mu Shu on the menu you can’t serve it with soft Taco tortillas!
I don’t write bad reviews, but this was terrible. Bartender was rude due to me not being a local that sits at the bar often. She rushed my order, didn’t get it right. I ordered hot and sour soup, and received flower soup. Nasty! My pork dish was not good, and rice was the last of the pan clearly. I would not recommend this if you are visiting the area.
Love the food..
First time here based off reviews was really looking forward to finding a new spot to order from regularly. First of all their phone lines don’t work tried calling multiple times. Tried online ordering (doesn’t work go figure). So I drive up there to order only to be ignored. I was completely ignored with my kids standing there waiting to order to go for a good 8 minutes or so. Finally was told I could order at the bar so we did. We’re ignored by bartender the whole time. Another waiter came noticed I was still waiting so he took out order. Told me to pay the bartender (was again ignored another 5 minutes or so until he came back). He finally said he will take payment because she was ignoring us. This was a Monday too not like a busy weekend. My soda tasted like it was watered down. How do you screw up soda on tap? Waited for my Togo order for another 25 minutes because I couldn’t call ahead. I won’t be back after wasting $60 here. Learn to help your customers.
***UPDATE***
Next morning, my whole family got sick from this food. Stomach cramps, nausea, diarrhea. DO NOT eat here.
We've been here 3 times since finding it a month ago. It is hands down the best Chinese food east of Chattanooga and North of Metro Atlanta. Lava Rocks(fried mushrooms) are my favourite appetizer and the Happy Family(Fish Sampler) is really the best I've had.
Pretty good service, but the food has gone downhill
Food was food. That's all I can say about that. Staff was friendly but she needed help with the amount of people in there.
Very nice and cozy inside, not much air conditioning or chairs for everyone to sit at, its amazing for people who dont wanna talk to the server, its online but they are weird with the food choice to a degree. not many original ideas mostly cupped noodles and some other stuff
Wife was placed on hold and they never came back to the phone, tried to call back and they disconnected phone line. They finally answered about 30 minutes later and then hung up on us.
As Fulin's has been a staple, stand-in, within our family...I do hope the cuisine stays consistent. As patrons for many years we all look forward to well made and tasty Asian yummies! However, consistency isn't...consistent. Any recommendations?
Cashew nut chicken is the best. My daughter had something that was nasty and extra spicy even though she asked for no spicy.
When they don't fail an inspection for at least a year...then I'll go back.
The atmosphere and the service was wonderful. My dad's Sesame Chicken and Beef and Broccoli entrees were delicious. My Fried Rice was good. My Sweet and Sour Chicken was just a little dry. The egg rolls are good.
Best sushi in SE Tennessee
My wife and I have been eating at fulin's for several years... It is a very nice restaurant, and 90% of the time the service is excellent along with the food is always excellent..
The rolls are awesome.
The food was good! I had the Garlic Beef with brown rice and egg roll, and my wife had General Tso's Chicken with white rice and egg roll.
The brown rice was a little under cooked and the egg rolls were slightly under temp.
The server was well trained and attentive. All in all a good experience.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Cleveland and definitely the best Mongolian beef I've ever had.
Phili Rolls
Excellent food for vegetarians. They even have a gluten free selection.
Always fresh made sushi, friendly servers
i eat here every weekend! and i love itt
Great sushi
Always a good meal
Just want to start off with saying the customer service, sushi, certain appetizers are great. However, the hibachi is honestly the worst I’ve ever had and I’m a HUGE hibachi fan. I’ve had a lot of different restaurants hibachi. This place uses frozen veggies and the meat is fake and the taste is just terrible. A lot of places I’ve been to use real meet and fresh veggies. I would still get sushi from here and have drinks. I just won’t ever have the hibachi again. One more thing, it wasn’t a “bad experience”. About a week after I went there to get food for work, my girlfriend went in to get food before work. She got hibachi, sushi, and Crab Rangoon’s. All but the hibachi was fantastic. I’m not saying don’t ever go to this place because they are really nice people and they do have good food. Just wouldn’t recommend the hibachi.
The taste is good and the service is excellent
We eat it every week....always top of the game....hasnt been the same since they quit propping the door open with chicken
My noddles tasted like burnt plastic, the veggies on my food were cold, the sweet waitress changed my noodles for rice, the rice was all nasty and overcooked 🤮 I got sick with the food my stomach is burning, I got the rest to go but that stuff is going to the trash, I’m really unpleased with this place the sushi is not that bad but it’s not really good either.
Just was not good tonight.
Placed a take out order. After I paid, I was given a free tea ❤️ Got home, food was hot, everything tasted good. My only complaint was that my salad was super small 😭
Autumn was a great server, very attentive and helpful. Food was delicious. Watching the Eagles whoop San Fran on the big TV was an added treat.
Service was friendly, but slow
Food was good, but luke warm. Gentleman cleaning tables just wiped stuff onto the floor.
Good food and drinks!!
My wife and I had a lunch date here to try the place out, and it was a pleasant experience.
I had the Mongolian Beef and she had the Sesame Chicken.
Service was quick and friendly (our server was Jasmine and she was excellent).
We also had Pork Egg Rolls and Fried Rice.
All in all, a good find for Chinese.
Excellent food gratitude customer srrvice.
