This was a really nice place to relax and chill out after my Black Friday shopping spree with my son. The calming atmosphere and the friendless from the waiters at this particular Lemongrass restaurant was great. I would recommend to anybody who is coming to this restaurant to try out the Drunken Noodles w/ their very tender beef!
I admit when I called and the phone was answered with “hello” and I had to ask if it was lemongrass I almost hung up. I am glad I didn’t.
Food here is amazing. The teriyaki ball is crazy for only $3! The kimchi fries are awesome, but have some rice nearby because it is spicy. I went there for take out on. Friday at 7:00pm and the place was empty. We got a great dinner for four for $90. I think this place is tied with Pete’s for best Asian food in Brentwood. (From a Brentwood local.)
I am from out of town and always make a point to eat here when traveling to Brentwood. From the moment you arrive at Lemongrass, you are greeted by the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.
The food is fantastic and I personally love the Japanese Ramen, Pad Thai, and their soups!
Highly recommend it and will certainly be back 😊
Went with my family for lunch this weekend. We have tried many Asian restaurants in the area but have yet to find one that offers high marks on customer service, atmosphere, food and price, until we came to this Lemongrass Sushi & Thai restaurant! This place is great! Atmosphere is cool, staffs are really friendly. You can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, and the menu offers great varieties for their reasonable prices! Highly recommend & is 100% worth it.
I got the Mango Tango sushi roll and it was by far, the best sushi I've ever put in my mouth. The tuna was so red, fresh, and tasty!! The flavors of the crab, shrimp, mango, and coconut were like a little taste of heaven. Our waitress was extremely sweet and was able to answer all of our questions thoroughly. She was very attentive and kind. Overall, my first experience was outstanding and I already have plans to go back to gorge on Mango Tango in the near future.
Coming from CA… we know our Sushi. We’ve been here 4 years and have tried 8 different restaurants. So far… Lemongrass is the best!
When eating raw food… I tend to value the cleanliness of a restaurant a bit more. This place is high end from front to back and 10/10 clean!
Try the Brentwood and Franklin rolls and revise which city wins.
Either way… this is the sushi place for you.
Really good food for a pretty affordable price! Tasted like high end sushi. Curry was also super good. Great service as well and a lovely location.
The experience was amazing. Craftily designed interior creating a relaxed mesmerizing environment. Ordered Sushi and Pho, meat was fresh and the noodles cooked to perfection. I will be visiting regularly- lunch and dinner.
We used to go to this place all the time before it changed hands and became “Lemongrass”…
The new management and staff are definitely very friendly and helpful, and the general ambience still holds pretty well for the most part as far as decor, helping with dietary restrictions, etc. However, they don’t take very much pride in details.
There are greasy finger marks on the tables when we go in there, the bathrooms are disgusting, and they keep roach spray out in the open at the bussing station. The plates are often also thrown together, so food presentation is seriously missing the mark. These details say a lot.
We tried it 7 times, but the last time we were in there the manager was having a loud FaceTime conversation with a friend just two tables over from us, so we couldn’t hear our own conversation very well. It was also really tough to get past all of the facial piercings our server had (very excessive), and the very long nails. I realize this can be typical these days, but it was an incredibly unappetizing experience all around, even more so because of this.
We finally came to the conclusion that despite how much we loved it before it changed hands, that it just is no longer a great place to go, even with the pretty decor and smiling staff. We’re sad to say we will no longer return.
First time trying Lemongrass. Cannot recommend based on my first trip. Spicy pork bulgogi had no flavor, just "spicy." The Pho was just ok, not authentic in my opinion. The sushi seems like the best bet here, not their Korean or Vietnamese dishes.
Probably some of the best Asian food in the area. On top of that the servers are extremely kind and the food came out quickly.

Cool place, cool stuff, excellent food.
Been here the first time with my boss at lunch and we were impressed by the quality and courtesy.
Yukgaejang soup, green curry and Japanese ramen soup were outstanding.
To be tried 100%

We absolutely love Lemongrass Sushi! Clean, delicious food! The chef is great!
Great experience all around. Service was great and the food was top notch. Would definitely recommend.
Wonderful place, food amazing, service 5 star. Love this place. 🤗

medium pad se ew and mild pad thai were great!
Amazing experience! The food is so good!!! And the service is amazing. Everyone is so nice! Try their Salmon curry! It’s the best!
Amazing food! Salmon curry is great; we order it for lunch almost weekly. Just had the Pad Thai and it was delicious. Finished the whole thing!!
Spicy yakiudon is sooo good! Service was wonderfully excellent. Selena was amazing! I added beef and the meat was cooked to perfection, so tender. I look forward to trying the sushi next!

Wonderful place for a good meal! Very relaxed atmosphere
Had a wonderful meal. The pineapple fried rice and coconut soup were delicious. Service was excellent and staff very friendly.
Fantastic food, great ambience and the server was upbeat, friendly providing top notch service. Loved the egg plant, pineapple fried rice very flavorful. Try it and you will be hooked…your new go to Thai place!
This place is amazing, and surprisingly reasonably priced. Great food, great service, great price! I highly recommend Lemongrass!
Amazing sushi, service and ambiance! I highly recommend.
The food was awesome! I really liked their sushi, there were many choices and I would recommended crunch mania and 911 rolls. Definitely will come back
Love lemongrass! Have been several times and food / service has been consistently excellent. Drunken noodles, red curry, sushi, house made crab rangoon, hot green tea.. Great presentation and spice level options in a relaxed atmosphere.
This place was amazing! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and 2 entrees and everything was the best Asian food we’ve ever eaten. The serving was amazing. We will be in Nashville 2 more days and are trying to figure out how many more times we can eat here!
I was so disappointed in their food. I was looking for a good Asian restaurant near my home and wanted to try lemongrass for a while. Their menu looked extensive and although I didn’t try the sushi, I will just comment on the Thai. First of all, prices are high, but if the quality was high as well, I was ok with that. Secondly, portion size was small, think kid size. Thirdly and most important, the quality and taste was poor. I ordered the tofu and vegetables in a garlic sauce. Fairly basic menu item, but i couldn’t taste the garlic, only a huge amount of salt. The broccoli bits were mandolin sliced broccoli stem pieces, with tiny cubes of tofu. Nope, not impressed. I also had the spring rolls and pot stickers. Again, really no taste, and almost nothing inside them. The pot stickers were dry, also fried, and small. Nope, no redeeming value on this. I threw it out. I will say, the restaurant itself looked very pretty inside, and the service was prompt. It’s in a great location. Maybe the sushi is better, but save your $ and go somewhere else.
The food was good, but it wasn’t as spicy as we requested. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. One of the waitresses (I wish I could remember her name) was rude and followed us to the door, rudely asking for a higher tip. It was an unpleasant experience.
I’m a huge fan of Thai cuisine, and after a long time, I finally had a great dining experience again.
It's difficult to compete with all the great Sushi Thia places close to us.
I have been searching for a good authentic Thai spot to get "home" food. This isn't it. This is a joke. An insult to my people. The papaya salad was awful and had literally ZERO spice. Like they saw the khrok still had some juices from a previous batch and just threw it in. If you're lao or thai, this ain't it. No color or anything. Don't taste any fish sauce or padek. I even sent a picture to all my lao friends and they even knew from that alone that there's something wrong with it.
Their food is good, but not great. The wait for food is pretty long. We were told it was because of the high online orders. This is understandable, but people sitting at the restaurant should have priority. Atmospheres is pleasing. Waitress was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great food, pleasant and comfortable atmosphere!
Abby made our first experience amazing with her wonderful customer service and all her suggestions about our questions. We will be back thanks to the amazing service and food.
The atmosphere was quiet. We did see a waiter sleeping in the round booth when we were walking into the restaurant. We were in a party of 8 and got seated right away. Food was decent. We found it really odd that every single one of our plates came out at different times between 2 to 5 minutes each except the last dish took a long time. I think they forgot about it. So we didn’t all get to eat together.
I admit when I called and the phone was answered with “hello” and I had to ask if it was lemongrass I almost hung up. I am glad I didn’t.

Great selection of Thai and Japanese food. I loved the Drunken noodles.
Service is ok. With that said, I will definitely return!
Service was REALLY bad. Didn’t get silverware, took it from the booth next to us. Shared plate came out with no serving spoon, we asked for one and were brought a soup spoon. We had to literally run down the server to ask for the check. Bad attitude server.
Wow. I first started my Thai food journey in Seattle, and it is often hard to go to a Thai restaurant and get the same quality of food and the right combinations of spices and flavors. Lemongrass is very close. I was very surprised but thrilled at the same time.
The wait staff (Mariale in particular) was happy, helpful and very honest when I asked for her opinion. The manager also was out and about hustling and helping.
Definitely going back. The peanut sauce curry was absolutely brilliant! We also sampled the Sushi. It was better than most, so yet another bonus.
I was pretty disappointed with this place. The fresh rolls were stuff with a few rice noodles but mostly shredded iceburg like what you'd buy in the salad section at any grocery store. We also got the tuna tartare, which was quite tasty. Then things went back downhill again with the baja fresh roll. Jalapeno was cut way too thick & there was no attempt to seed the slices. The jalapeno flavor completely overwhelmed everything else in the roll. Also, if you're going to have outdoor seating, perhaps ask servers to smoke away from that area & out of view. Our server decided to have a smoke break right outside the entrance to the outdoor seating area, and then when she returned, she smelled of cigarettes. She brought us the check, we verified everything & left a card. When the server returned, there was another item on the check, which also increased the price. It wasn't worth wasting energy on, and we already knew we wouldn't be back, so we just left. I definitely won't be returning.
One of the better Thai places I've been to. However, it is not safe if you have an egg allergy. We informed the waitress about the egg allergy at our table and ordered the curry. Typically, curry is safe, but we experienced a mild reaction. We didn't have to use an epi-pen, but we suspect that eggs were cooked in the pan or on the grill before the curry was prepared.
Fantastic red curry
Waited 32 minutes on a goto order. Restaurant wasn't even half full. Would use the 73 White Bridge Road location instead
Excellent sushi and a large menu with a variety of options. Highly recommend!
Alice was a wonderful server and the portions were very large!
UPDATED REVIEW: I dropped a star because the restaurant responded, but instead of offering to reimburse the food they left out of our order, it was just a boilerplate "We'll try to do better next time" message. They never called back from my voicemail, the only way I've heard from them is responding to this review.
Original review:
Had our first visit here and live right nearby. It was one of those "Kids wore us out, let's order pickup" rare treat nights.
We were told it'd be ready in 20-25 minutes. Walked in 25 minutes later and waited another 10+ minutes. There were two tables sat and about 5 Doordash drivers standing around.
I got my order and drove home to find they left out a large portion of the order. I called and it went to voicemail, I left a message and decided to cook dinner for myself instead of spending another 20 minutes trying to get my missing item. By then the kids were starving and half our family ate while the rest waited for dinner to be made.
I hate to leave a negative review but I never could reach them, they never called back and we spent money to get an evening off from cooking, but ended up having to cook anyway. The whole experience felt like a bust, EXCEPT that the food we got was delicious. I would love to eat in the restaurant sometime but not if my experience is the 'norm' there.
Super nice staff and DELICIOUS sashimi! Love this place!
Yummy! Super delicious! My favorite sushi I ever had!
This was my 1st time here and it will absolutely be my last!!!! Our waiter was amazing, but that was it. There were shells all in our rolls and when we told the waiter, the owner came over and basically argued with us, saying it's supposed to be like that. Then she brought our plate to the chef for him to "check it out." So now he comes back and not only tells us it's fine, but proceeds to tell us that he ate some of it and it was fine!!! I am completely BLOWN AWAY at how they responded to my very polite complaint. They not only refused to take it off the bill, but to add insult to injury, they gave me a $1.50 discount instead!!! The absolute WORST experience ever!!! Sooo disappointed in the entire experience!! Zero out of zero- DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
The quality of the batter in the vegetable and shrimp tempura was excellent. And the Cruchmania sushi and sake were excellent. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere enhanced by the instrumental light jazz gently wafting in the background.
Not all Lemongrass locations are equal. This one in Brentwood is really good.
Excellent food.
Like cats 🐱 the food 🍱 was Delicious - Quentin Soechting age 8
Incredible place - highly recommend
Love this hidden gem in Brentwood! Sushi chef is from Japan and Thai chef is from…yep, Thailand. Food is fresh and delicious. Service is spot-on. Wine list is not for wine snobs and bar is limited but for the rest of us i promise you’ll find an enjoyable and drinkable libation. Lemongrass is our new go-to spot.
Such great fresh sushi. The owners, sushi chef etc are all so friendly and very accommodating.
Service is wonderful. My new favorite.
Came here for dinner with my boyfriend before a movie. Everything was so good! I had the pesto noodle dish with chicken and he had Pad Thai … really flavorful. The server, Mandy, was very kind and attentive. So glad we stopped in here while visiting Nashville.
So peaceful and amazing food and service!
Our first time visiting this new culinary addition to Brentwood. Main Chef is from Thailand and sushi chef from Japan. Both options were excellent. The sushi was fresh and perfectly prepared. Our server, Maria, was not only professional but friendly and engaging. We’ll be back soon!
The food was great and lots of variety. We will definitely go back.
Had the chicken pad thai and panang curry...all excellent!
I totally understand this restaurant just opened and staff is still learning the menu. However, I ordered Khao soi (Thai coconut soup) and asked if/what meat comes with it. The server didn’t know but I said it was fine as long as it wasn’t red meat or pork. Unfortunately, the soup had been made with beef so it had to be remade. This cause our food a while to come out.
When it did come out it was a different soup than I ordered. When I asked the server, she had to confirm it was different by the picture on the menu and said that’s how the kitchen has been making for Khao Soi. I guess they didn’t have the soup I wanted, so I ended up getting Tom kha. It was okay.
My friend ordered the pineapple fried rice. It came out in a hallow pineapple, but no pineapple was actually in the fried rice. It had raisins though, which was odd in my opinion.
Overall, the service was good but it seems like both kitchen and front of house staff needs to learn the menu and maybe they need to adjust it if certain items can’t be made. Our server was so sweet and attentive.
I would argue that this is the best Thai/sushi restaurant in south Nashville if not all of Nashville. They are new to this location, but absolutely know what they are doing. I hope more people find out how great this restaurant is!
Easily the best restaurant in Brentwood with a wide variety of Asian cuisine, friendly/knowledgeable staff and amazing food!!! Can’t wait to go back.
The food is amazing and the presentation is above and beyond. We had a group and ordered lots of dishes to share. The service was fast, friendly and helpful. We had so much food and everything was delicious. I couldn't choose a favorite- it was all so good. I highly reccommned you try this place for dinner- perfect place for a group too.
Tried MANY items from the menu … the variety. Quality and presentation was tremendous. Sushi was delicious.
Delicious! We had pad se ew and pad Thai and both were excellent. Definitely our new favorite!
Pad Thai was great and the staff were super friendly and attentive
Much better than the restaurant it replaced - I'll be eating there again
Great restaurant. Our whole table opted for just the sushi, and I will say that it was great. I like to get basic rolls because if the fish is good it’s worth it, and wow, it totally was. In a world where too many sushi rolls fall apart full of old fish, these turned out great. My friends ordered their special rolls, and they are even better. The mango tango is a highlight- definitely try that out. I’m also not a fan of deep fried rolls but I loved the one they had, really changed my whole opinion on it!
I would love to go back when I can.
I ordered the Drunken Noodles and vegetable gyozas… the noodles were way overcooked to mush, but the gyozas were decent. My coworker ordered the bento box and said the chicken was overcooked and rubbery, the rice was overcooked, the seaweed in the sushi was hard to chew through and the miso soup just wasn’t that good. I’m a bit disappointed because the food is expensive, and the Thai restaurant that was there before was way better and way more affordable. As for service, it was okay. The lady at the front taking the order just seemed really lost on what she needed to be doing but I still made out in a timely manner.
Absolutely delicious. I took my fiancé and her mother here on a coin flip and it exceeded my expectations. It was their soft opening and I have to say I have not tasted a better soup in my life. Extremely great service, would definitely go again.
Our family had a great dinner at this new restaurant. It offers a variety of Asian food. My kids love the bento boxes with fried rice. We love the sushi as well! The atmosphere is very pleasant. Waitress is sweet and patient with kids. We will definitely come back to try other food especially the Peking Duck soon.

Waited an hour to get food.
Diet Coke/Coke = Don’t Order
Ramen Soup had very little flavor
Japche meat was like jerky with no flavor
Server was nice and sweet.
Manager told us the cooks were still getting used to the menu.
3/10
Amazing new place! Great service, food and ambiance - highly recommended!
My wife and I came for dinner and enjoyed the food, comfortable atmosphere and excellent service! We had sushi, full dinner and dessert!!
They also have a large outdoor, covered seating area - looks perfect for a Spring time evening dinner!
We will be back often and tell all of our friends to come here too!
