We recently dined at a lovely Thai restaurant in Bartlett and was pleasantly impressed. The interior was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and prompt.

We ordered the drunken noodles, green curry, and seafood curry, and all three dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The drunken noodles had the perfect balance of spice and savoriness, the green curry was rich and aromatic, and the seafood curry was packed with fresh, tender seafood.

Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone craving authentic Thai flavors. A great spot for a cozy meal!

Oh my goodness- this is the best I’ve had! I ordered spicy edamame and Curry Noodle (chicken and tofu) at a spice level 4/10.

The edamame is perfectly steamed with a delicious spicy sauce. I only regretted my husband was not able to share this with me (I’m traveling for work)!

For the curry noodle I requested a thin rice noodle and added tofu to the base protein of chicken. The tofu was the star of this dish and I wished I had ordered more of it. The sauce is mildly spicy and slightly sweet. It was a perfect sweetness for me, as some Thai restaurants do overdo the sweetness.

I’ll be in Memphis for the next few weeks and I will be back to try the Tom Yum soup!! Will report back.

Delicious food and a nice family environment and great friendly staff/owners. They will customize the spice and sometimes have home grown Thai chilies. We enjoyed the Tom Kha soup, which was perfectly creamy and sour.

Very nice atmosphere. Soothing jazz on the radio. The food was incredibly fresh. The vegetables were actually crisp and crunchy instead of soggy. Do try the Tom Kha! And our server was polite and funny without being forced and fake. Very delightful experience.

A quiet shopping mall restaurant, but the food is good and they can accommodate dietary restrictions. The mango sticky rice is awesome for dessert. I like that they have tofu as a protein option. I got fried tofu with drunken noodles. It was good, but feel it would be better if they kept the gluten free vegan sauce options on hand to make the dish even better. I will probably try the curry next time since that sauce is probably naturally gf vegan.

The Curry is amazing

Truly a great experience. Service was fast food came out quickly the gyoza was very delicious fresh crispy outside, red curry was very delicious as well could tell they use high quality ingredients. A Thai staple of mango sticky rice for desert yes please!!

Wife and I have really been struggling to find good Thai near us. Went here after a run and got Pad Thai and Tom Yum Soup, and both were great! If you want spicy make sure to tell them (we are wimps and want minimal spicy). The restaurant was very clean. Staff was super friendly and quick. Portions were appropriate to price. On the whole, really great experience. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for good Thai.

Lotus Thai is a regular dinner venue for my family. We generally order vegetarian dishes. All the curries are made with your choice of protein. I really like their fried tofu with the curry noodle! Everyone is welcoming and helpful. The restaurant’s atmosphere is relaxing- the jazz piano music is great! Recommended highly!

Most authentic flavors in Memphis! We regularly go for the Namtok Beef, which is always tender and flavorful, the nicely spiced Larb, and the consistently grilled Moo Ping. The warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent service keep us coming back. Don’t miss the mango cream pie—it’s the perfect finish. We would recommend.

My husband and I ate last night and had the Thai Duck, shrimp hompa, and everything was beyond delicious. The service was amazing and the ambience was amazing! I’m not one with great words or anything, but I just can’t say enough about this restaurant. This was my first time eating at a Thai restaurant, but the perfection on this Duck was just Wow! I definitely write this place a 10 out of 10! Our waitress, Jan had some excellent suggestions and was sympathetic to my aversion to vegetables as well. I will definitely be back here over and over again! 🥰🥰

Regular customer of Thai basil. First time here at Lotus Thai. The boxes look nice and neat. Food is alright. Papaya salad was not seasoned well at all as well as drunken noodle. Drunken noodle has no bean sprouts, less chicken and veggies. More noodles. Might be back to give it another try if improving the quality.

First time trying and probably will be my last. I ordered the pad se ew with chicken and the thai fried chicken. There was no chicken in my pad se ew and all the noodles were stuck jn a big clump, the fried chicken was 5 little chicken wing drums that were burnt, the menu said it was 4 pcs of fried chicken not wings. Everything tasted pretty good though.

We had lunch at Lotus Thai for the first time today. Thai tea, Gyozas, pork skewers and Pad See Ew. Everything we got was excellent. Great service too! We overheard a man at another table ask the waitress to let the chef know that the street noodle soup was one of the best dishes he’d ever had. We are definitely trying that one next time!

Memphis is lacking in good Thai places but this place seems to have some hope compared to all the others that disappointed me closer to town.

You can usually judge a Thai place by if they have nom pla (fish oil chilli sauce) and luckily they did!

We ordered Tom yum soup and Panang curry with chicken. We kept level 7 which became way too spicy. But the food in itself does not have any authentic Thai flavor either so it was like just tasting lot of hot chili.

It was completely unnecessary to cite my previous reviews of other establishments. In regard to the quality of food: your food was completely in-authentic. The pad thai was not seasoned correctly (if at all) and was some of the blandest pad thai I have purchased from a Thai Restaurant. Secondly, the fried chicken appetizer was bland and over priced. The original review rated your service and atmosphere with 4 and 3 stars, respectively. However, after your grossly unprofessional, and frankly strange response regarding my dentist and other google reviews, you have made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I would advise you to never respond to a customer review in that manner moving forward.

Lotus Thai restaurant in Bartlett… opened in October … authentic Thai food. Owners are super nice and even brought a sample dish that they are considering for the menu…. Give them a try if love authentic Thai food.

Ever since Jasmine Thai closed a few years back Memphis has not had a good spot for quality Thai. We have tried them all and had to go to Como, MS to Thai Hut if we wanted great That food. I'm happy to report that Lotus fills the void beautifully. Please give it a shot! Everything has been great but the pad thai is unreal!

Got an order to go yesterday for lunch. Pad See Ew. Excellent! Crisp veggies, perfectly cooked shrimp and noodles. Good price! People were friendly. Loved it!

Food was bland and tasteless. The kids fried rice with chicken was the best thing we had…and we all had to eat that because the rest of our dishes were were just terrible. Crab rangoons hardly had any filling and tasted like nothing but grease. Almost all of the $60 worth of food we bought went straight into the trash. Disappointed is an understatement!

Lotus Thai stands out from the former Thai Basil. The inside has been remodeled and updated. It feels very open and is definitely well lit. The staff is all very friendly and wonderful to talk to. The menu is definitely smaller, which by no means is a bad thing. We picked dishes that we are familiar with. We tried the panang gai, larb gai, som tham, fresh spring rolls, crab rangoon, Thai coffee, and Thai iced tea. First thing I will say about the food, is it is definitely different from Thai Basil and different than my Thai grandmother's cooking. (Thai Basil is how we used to scratch cravings for her cooking. She lives in Florida.) The fresh spring rolls and crab rangoons were good for starters. They weren't really why we visited. I personally liked the dipping sauce for the fresh spring rolls. To me it tasted like a soy sauce based sauce that had the umami of fish sauce, the zest of some citrus, and a hint of sweetness. The panang reminded me of the maesri panang curry paste, my grandmother uses. My husband got it as a level 10, the spicest they offer. They are not playing with this heat. The zucchini and squash are very interesting choices of vegetables for this dish too. The sweetness of the dish is something that we couldn't get past. The larb reminded me more of a satay. I'm not saying it isn't bad, I am just used to being able to taste more of the balance of fish sauce, lime, chili, and sugar. I did like the rice powder used for this dish. It seemed like it was toasted and ground with a mortar and pestle. It gave it a nice "crunch" texture. Next is the som tham. I like that they offer Shrimp and Beef as protein add-ins to this dish, but personally, have had it with shrimp or without shrimp. (Mostly without- that is how my grandmother makes it.) The som tham was probably my favorite. It balanced sweet, spicy, and crunchy fairly well. It will definitely scratch that itch if miss my grandmother's cooking. (Though she doesn't use green beans or shredded carrots. It will definitely do in a pinch.) I will ALSO NOTE Thai food prepartion/dishes varies on region. While I may not be used to my food being as sweet, that is not a reflection of this restaurant. Personally I'm used to more spicy/savory Thai food because of what my Grandmother and Mom made for us.

It was my first time eating Thai food. It was great, until I checked my card on Saturday, only to find an additional tip was added to my card. I immediately called David who stated mistakes happen. We ordered pad Thai with fried tofu and no egg and a level 7 spicy (out of 10) green curry with fried tofu. The tofu didn't appear fried at all in either dish. The pad Thai was runny, there were no garlic chives, and the noodles weren't the typical flat wide rice noodles. The green curry had a mix of seemingly frozen and fresh veggies; overall extremely watered down and not spicy at all. Please do better! ☹️

I've been waiting for this spot to open since a couple months ago. The wait was worth it. I had the phad thai and one of their speciality drinks "nom yen" which is a sweet Thai milk drink that I devoured within minutes. Decided to go for the classic phad thai which was also devoured in minutes. Everyone should definitely check this place out! I'll be back :)

Excellent Thai food by Chef Thip! Simple and elegant ambience and friendly staff! We also loved the home made strawberry shortcake for dessert! Will definitely visit again!
