We are serving authentic Thai food.
Service was exceptional; dining room was spotless. The highlights were the shrimp red curry and and the mango curry. However, the fried rice main dishes had little protein or vegetables and the rice was a bit mushy. We may have picked the wrong appetizers--the spare ribs were deep fried, tough and dry and the crab ragoon were limp and the filling had no imitation crab, no flavor. Next time I would stick to the main dishes, like the curries or the stir fry. They will adjust the hot spiciness; the very tasty red curry was requested down one level and had the perfect flash of heat. Service was quick and friendly.
I have been dining here since '93 ... and they still serve up delicious Thai cuisine. AND you know it's good when the local Thai community dine here as well ❤️
Bonus Surprise : I hadn't been in a while and when I came in the whole dining area was completely remodeled in a black and gold theme. Very nice! Also >>>> under new management >>>> with focus on more authentic Thai, as close as possible being in the U.S.
We ordered our usual Chicken Satay appetizer, and also their Gyoza and Cucumber Salad. So delicious, and everything is displayed very attractively. Our entrees were Pad Thai and Sweet & Sour Chicken.
Highly recommend ❤️
EDIT for 2024: Seems new people have taken over. The atmosphere is definitely more dull and the menu has changed and removed some of the items I personally liked. The food was still good, although the chicken rolls seem like something you'd buy at Walmart. Waitress was nice, but not sure if we'd return again. 2022 review below if interested.
2022: We have eaten here twice within a few months and have enjoyed the food both times. The staff is incredibly sweet and accommodating and loves interacting with customers. We were here last during Hurricane Ian and the power went out while we were eating. Instead of it being a negative experience, we had an amazing time talking to the owners while it rained and stormed around us as we finished our meal. Will definitely be back and cannot recommend their food (and service) enough. See you at the next motorcycle rally, Bangkok House! 🏍
We got shrimp pad Thai , chicken red curry & spring rolls. Pad Thai was average, I think it had 5 shrimp. Spring rolls didn’t have much filling in them. Husband said his red curry was good. Probably won’t be back

Was an amazing experience! People were so friendly and I loved the ambience of the restaurant :) definitely made me feel at home!
I came here with my family for my birthday and it was absolutely lovely. The service was great and the food was utterly delicious. I would highly recommend coming here.
Great service and food. On Vacation, Got the Thai Tea it was amazing. Best tofu pad Thai I had. Large portion sizes and I highly recommend this place!
I don’t recommend this restaurant. The food is not that good or authentic and they charged 20% extra for a large party even though we paid as separate parties. It is true that they listed a policy for large parties on the front of their menu, but this menu was not given to us until after a large table was already set up for us and we had already sat down. If we had been informed of this policy before being seated, we would have sat separately. Also, the portions are extremely small, and I only found 2 small leaves of basil in a supposedly “basil” dish.
Food is ok for , perhaps, people never ever tried authentic Asian food before. I would rate this food quality is a two stars. Almost all the food are sweetened and I don’t really see any authentic flavors to recommend someone. Please ensure that your bill is correct! My friend got charged twice on items that not even on his orders. Waiters and staffs seemed to overwhelm ed and didn’t even get us the right bills for us.
Excellent meal. Had Mango curry with shrimp. Fresh and delightful. Service was excellent. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant with great service and beautiful atmosphere.

I had the gyoza, calamari, seafood coconut soup and red curry shrimp. Phenomenal! Best flavor in the area for Thai food. Certainly recommend!
I got a takeout order of Drunken Noodles and while I was waiting, I had an order of Vegetarian Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were very bland and I ate part of the order, took the rest with my takeout and figured that maybe I could doctor them up when I got home.
When I got home, I started to eat the drunken noodle and it was VERY dry, and even though I ordered "spicy", it was flavorless. With the tip it was over $31 and totally not worth it. Thai food is known for it's amazing flavors and spices and this just isn't it.
The waiter was great!
I really enjoyed our dinner here. The service was friendly and thoughtful in every way. The Panang curry was with shrimp and chicken. We also had an order of chicken with cashew nuts. I used to live in Thailand and the food here was authentic.
Late lunch and my wife was in a Thai mood. I asked and Yelp provided. When we arrived, there were no other diners and we were undisturbed other than a Doordash order or two.
For starters, we split the fish cakes. These had a good flavor and were served super hot but they were chewy and flat. I would skip these next time.
Crab fried rice for my wife, which she mostly enjoyed. Lots of crab but no big pieces. All were crumbed up to the size of the rice which pretty much made it "crab-flavored fried rice."
For main, I chose the Drunken Noodles with pork. A good portion and very flavorful. Not spicy but full of spice and texture. The noodles were nicely al dente and plenty of pork that was cooked very nicely.
The waitress was friendly and not too attentive. We enjoyed being undisturbed for our meal but she was watching to refill drinks and bring boxes and such.
Very nice place to eat - a tad pricey, but worth it.
Excellent, authentic Thai food with reasonable prices!
Good food..
We had Chicken Cashew Nut and Shrimp Mango Curry. Both we excellent. The Mango Curry was so sweet and very wonderful. Service was exceptional.
Awesome food and service!!!
Great dining experience!!!
Jus had crab fried rice... New addiction alert. This place has been a go to for years for me but just revisited and im not disappointed at all.
Best Thai food we’ve ever eaten. The ingredients are incredibly fresh. The service was excellent. Loved the music. Highly recommend!
The food was good and the waitress was extremely kind and considerate. The atmosphere was nice but the decor was very dark. I had the drunken noodles which were yummy. My husband got the pad see ew which was okay. But the Thai iced tea was delicious. I recommend it for sure.
They do the basics very well! Thai iced tea, phenomenal. Crab rangoons, best I’ve ever had, real crab meat. Server was on the ball, very nice and welcoming, always had a smile, and could explain the dishes with ease. This would be my go to for Asian Cuisine if I lived here!
So I got some rice and also the red curry. It's delicious problem. My protein selection, I got literally 3 pieces of shrimp. For the price...that's rediculous. Atleast do 4. Sheesh
Just love it
Cute place with a pleasant ambiance. Great food! Nice, calm vibe with attentive staff. Prices are reasonable too.
Good food. Needs updating and new carpet
Ok so I was born and raised here. This restaurant has been here as long as I can remember. And it looks that way. Carpet is old and totally nasty. Drapes are like very old. AC vents were dripping water all over. We had to move twice. The restaurant needs a serious makeover. With all of that being said. The food was very good and the people were very nice and service was good….
I love eating here! I'll often drop by for lunch during work. The food is good and the people are so nice! Cosy little dining area too.
In a sea of bland carnival food, this place was a god send. And honestly above average for Thai fare, loved the pork and rice dish I got. If you want proper spicy food, they got you covered
personally, i liked it before it went under new management. after the old owners left, the atmosphere felt a little quiet, especially with lack of design. the food was also plain and proportions were a off and service didn't take all our orders. wouldnt go again
The service was slow and when asking for sauces the host /server asks me is there anything else you need? Her tone was rude and condescending
Food was okay both my boyfriend and reported their meats were under seasoned. We will try the other two spots next time.
As a paying customer I have the right to be respected. I hope the staff treat their other customers better than I was
Food was very mediocre. Portion was very small. We ordered red , yellow curry and pad Thai. The yellow and red curries had very less meat, vegetables, coconut milk and bamboo shoots. They didn’t taste like the Thai curries. Pad Thai was very sweet, again had less meat no bean sprouts. Very pricey for the quantity they gave. Service was okay. Wish we had read reviews before we went there.
I have been dining here since '93 ... and they still serve up delicious Thai cuisine. AND you know it's good when the local Thai community dine here as well ❤️

Highly recommend ❤️
The food was delicious! We ordered chicken Pad Thai, red curry, chicken satay and crab rangoons. Some of the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Service was quick and our waitress was very kind.
I would avoid this place entirely.
I only have one positive for this restaurant, unfortunately and that is this: The staff was kind.
I ordered takeout from here. The appetizers were clearly previously frozen. I ordered chicken spring rolls and received vegetarian spring rolls. The gyoza was previously frozen and like the spring rolls, not made fresh. You’d think for nearly $10 a piece, they’d put a little more effort into it.
We ordered Larb Chicken which is probably my favorite Thai dish and it was made with unseasoned chicken that was laid on top of some juice. There is no toasted rice to be seen in here - truly disappointing. We also ordered Nom Tok, the spicy beef salad, and 25% of the “beef” was pure fat. The rest of the beef was cut into cubes and extremely tough and partially burnt. Never in my life have I seen that at a Thai restaurant and I’ve been to dozens across the country.
The entres ordered were shrimp pad Thai and basil fried rice. The pad Thai was good. It was basic and had all the flavors you’d expect. The basil fried rice was almost white. What little chicken there was, was completely white. It’s like they boil the chicken and just add it in the box with white rice. The flavor was minimal. There’s no way this was cooked properly in a wok with chili paste, etc.
It was almost $90 for this food and I’m fine paying for this amount of food at that price, but what’s not ok is charging these prices with the quality of food they provide. These salads should be $7-9 max based on quality of ingredients. The appetizers should be $4-6 based on quality. The entres should be half the price they charge based on quality.
Definitely the latest time I’ll visit this restaurant.
Highly recommend. Delicious red & green curries with chicken and vegetables. Also Larb w beef was very tasty. Ordered mild spice level for meals. The mango & sticky rice did not disappoint!
Great food. Would have liked rice paper spring rolls.
We came in for a quick bite, were delighted by the flavor and authentic taste of the pad Thai and pad se ew. Their Tom Kah was exceptional.
Everything was great. Appetizers, entrees, and deserts. Can't wat to come back next time.
They are serving food that is not finished cooking and charging alot for it. I ordered yellow curry with hard potatoes. The sticky rice was undercooked as well. The Rangoon at 9.00 does not have any filing
Undercooked potato’s undercooked rice , the curry is soupy and it’s over priced I payed 26 dollars for crab rangoons and curry, the crab rangoons are made like dumplings and there is no consistency between the pastry and the filling
Was surprised it was under new ownership. Food was better then originally was which is hard to do. I will be back.
I have been going here for years and it is now under new management. food is not as good. VERY spicy and if you ask for mild it makes no difference. You get it burn your lips and throat spicy. This is the third time it has happened to me. Time to find a new place.
Food is good, but not extraordinary. We ordered basil fried rice with chicken and Tom yum soup for dinner. Reasonable price.
This used to be one of my favorite local Thai spots, but the quality has declined over the years.
There are much better Thai places in Myrtle Beach at more affordable prices. Skip this one.
Food here is great. Really thankful to have this Asian food place, serving authentic Asian food within walking distance of our resort. Thank you for being open off season!
That said, the mango curry with chicken is a must try here. The sourness of the mangoes goes perfectly with the spiciness of the dish.
Fabulous Noodles! The service was wonderful! Great place!
Excellent Thai Food! Great staff.
Went with my family last Sunday and everything was phenomenal! Huge portions and spice level was to perfection. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Great spot for authentic Thai food.
Ok, so I am very particular about Thai food. I saw they had some good reviews and decided to try them with my wife. We opted for take out. Looking over the menu, they have a great selection and broken up into categories so it's easy to find your favorites, the first flag was the prices!! Very pricey and don't think you will come for lunch for a discount because that's a no no! We ordered crab rangoons(6) per order, chicken spring rolls(4) per order, chicken larb kai salad and a side of sticky rice. Also a Thai tea to split. My wife can't do too spicy, so we ordered our larb no stars and asked please make it mild. The hostess was very nice, very professional absolutely no complaints about her or her service, top notch, 5 stars for her alone. However, total for the meal was $44.79 and I gave her a $10 tip. It was a good thing I didn't order any of the extras we wanted. When we got the food home I couldn't believe my eyes. The crab rangoons were one dimensional. Flattened with a little crinkle on the top, nothing really inside. They looked like 6 cartoon money bags set in front of each other with a sauce container that was twice the size of them in a hamburger Styrofoam container. They were fried solid and couldn't be eaten they were so hard. Next, the spring rolls. These were actually great, no complaints on these as all 4 were as they should be. Crispy outside, veggies and chicken inside were perfect. Best part of the meal. No for the chicken larb salad. For the price I paid you would have thought you'd get a large. This was a kids container, almost $18 for a salad with ground chicken that had only enough to fit into a small bowl. It was cooked well and tasted okay until the first bite revealed it was like eating lava from a volcano. No star here will kick your butt. My poor wife couldn't eat it, not to mention it was only snack size for us anyways. To top it all off there were no cucumbers, tomatoes, lemongrass so overall disappointing. I have photos to share so y'all can see the proof. Looking at photos from other customers it looks like in house customers get the deals and bigger dishes. The Tea was mediocre at best, just concentrated and mixed with milk before serving over ice. I'd like to try the pad Thai and pineapple rice, but at $19 for that amount I wouldn't take the gamble. I hate leaving reviews like this, and want everyone to know that the service was great, but the price and quality of food and quantity just doesn't add up.
First time and first impression was, where are all the people at that are parked outside? We were the second guest during dinner time and the parking area was full?? So the probes are very small and not authentic or tasty. Place needs to be updated and carpet looks rough. Fixing their plating, seasoning and portion’s as well as aesthetics I may try them again. Fried rice was good.
So I’ll start off by saying, we was down in august of 2022 and ate here. The food was incredible and really enjoyed it. Fast forward to December 2023 we’re back at Myrtle beach and wanting to eat here again. We call an order in at 5:00. The girl tells me it will be ready in 20 minutes. I get there and wait 1 hour for my food. I really didn’t even care about the wait, but when we get back to the room to eat our food it is definitely not what I had expected it to be. The chicken wings were decent, the papaya salad was not good at all, and the beef larb was so sweet! Everything about all the food had a very sweet flavor. I asked for 2 sticky rice and 1 regular rice. They gave me 1 sticky rice and 3 REGULAR rice. I have no idea why. I heard it’s under new ownership, do not waste your time here. $78 wasted.
The place is not fancy but the food was amazing, wanted to come back the next day. Must go. Highly recommend.
Saw in Eater
Great food and service. Reasonably priced.
pad thai was delicious, big portions. i'm basic.
The food was good and had a wonderful waitress. The place needs new carpet. Just makes the whole space uninviting and appears dirty.
The food was amazing. Looked to the left a roach was coming down. The wall onto our table..The manager wasn't super friendly.. didn't want nothing but The attitude was aloof and unmoved.. dont get me wrong the food was banging.the roach just made me lose my appetite
We got papaya salad, spring rolls, drunken noodles, and red curry with tofu. Lots of veggies and the tofu was cooked really well. Only con was the drunken noodles had good spice but were a little lackluster in flavor. Everything else was excellent and worth a visit
Great massaman curry but the house salad is lacking ginger or similar dressing (peanut only) and they don’t serve alcohol. Server didn’t offer to take salad off or anything
Thoroughly enjoyed the Pad Thai and Chicken Satay. Lots of flavor. Ordered medium and it was indeed spicy!
Was ready for pickup exactly when they said it would be.
Food is phenomenal!! One of my favorite places in town!
Food was delicious! The peanut sauce with the chicken satay was on point! The drunken noodles were very good and spring rolls were delicious!
Very decent food full of good flavors..
When traveling, my partner and I always make a point to find the small, local places that will give our family an experience we can't get anywhere else. I found this place and added it to our list based on their star rating, and we were not disappointed! We had chicken satay, sticky pork ribs, shrimp wrappers, chicken pad thai, pork pineapple fried rice, chicken and broccoli, and sweet and sour chicken. Every dish they put on our table was as good as the last, and even though we promised ourselves we'd save room for dessert later in the evening, we ate almost everything - down to the last grain of rice they put on our table! The sauces were incredible in each of our dishes. We opted to dine 'family style' and split all of the appetizers and entrees, which was amazing because our whole crew got to enjoy each of these amazing dishes! The service was fast and the atmosphere was intimate, clean, and quaint. This place set the bar high for the rest of our trip!
Really long wait for picking up a delivery. There’s currently one table and it’s been 20 minutes past the pickup time. No updates during this duration.
This is my first time to try their foods. Absolutely love it. All the foods that ordered was delicious. The service was great and friendly. The only thing was the restaurant was a little bit dark and old. To be honest for first time customer I was scared of the the restaurant like this before sit down and enjoy the foods.
If you ate here and enjoyed it in the past you may want to reconsider before going here again. The large Thai menu options of the past have been replaced by a much more limited list. Gone are the generous portions and great dishes like the crispy duck. The mango curry had almost no vegetables or mangiin it and the portion was laughable for 16 dollars. The fried gyoza were okay but seemed very similar to frozen store bought. There is an interesting selection of Thai street food dishes. The spicy crispy chicken salad was tasty with a good fish sauce base, but be warned that it really is a street food style dish with very little vegetables.
The wait staff was fine and the place seems clean, but I admit missing the old pictures of the Thai royal family.
Overall, this place is okay, and there are some tasty options, but the new menus and vinyl tablecloths just made me miss the old Bangkok House.😥
Under new ownership.
We went to this restaurant based on the star rating. I wish I had read comments first. I do not recommend this restaurant until they get it together.
How do you not taste the food you are cooking but serve your customers. 🤦🏽♂️
Thai Ice Tea - it was milk syrup with a Thai ice tea flavor. I don’t know how you mess this up.
Seafood pad Thai - it was cooked in syrup. It was soooo sweet, you can barely eat it. I asked the server if she wants to taste it from the serving dish? Prompt no. I asked her if she ever ate it here, again answer was no.
I wish the best to the employees and the owners. But please taste your own food. Don’t serve dishes that are not palatable.
The chicken larb was dry and didn’t have the best kind of flavor. Red curry was ok as well. Our server was nice and friendly, and prices are alittle high. Overall, if you craving Thai food then it may satisfy you but not really for me. Maybe I’ll give another chance someday.
I knew when I pulled up and saw families in there devouring the food that I was in for a treat and was I. It was so good I ordered the same thing to go for dinner. It’ll be even more amazing once it sits ❤️
Drunken noodles had no sauce, spring rolls were burnt I will start to look at food before I leave any restaurants from now on
Bangkok House has been my favorite restaurant for over 25yrs. The food was authentic, flavorful, rich. But since the new ownership took over, it is such a disappointment. The food is twice the price & half the portion. Honestly, if it was still good I wouldn’t care so much. The flavors are completely different. No dish even tasted remotely like the original. The Papaya Salad was bland. I make it better. My son’s Pad Thai was no where near as good as before. The Tom Kha was overwhelmed by the taste of onion. I’ve given it a try twice now and the second time was worse than the first. The interior remodel looks tried & missed. Painting over the existing wallpaper, which you can still see…Just tacky. Disappointed. Looking for a new Thai restaurant. Sad. My whole family is so sad
Very expensive need to get updated on things. Things look like failing apart
The food here was amazing! I had vegetable yellow curry, my mom had shrimp stir fry, my sister had chicken Thai fried rice, and my daughters has gyoza, crab rangoon, chicken egg rolls, and wonton soup. The food was cooked fresh, the staff were great, and the atmosphere was nice. If we weren’t leaving tomorrow, we would definitely stop by again!
Great food, very solicitous staff. Definitely going back!!
Delicious and fresh food and friendly service give this little place a distinctly Thai charm I wasn't expecting in Myrtle Beach. We tried chicken satay, Massaman curry, whole Red Snapper, crispy catfish, and spicy seafood salad. They were all flavorful and authentic. We look forward to coming here again.
Very very good Thai restaurant in Myrtle Beach. Tied as one of the best pad see ews I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back.
Their Veggie Egg Rolls are to die for! I should’ve ordered more than one order. If you like a flavorful curry with the right amount of spice/heat, order the curry! I will absolutely be back again and again and again lol!
To go order was great.
I wanted something different so I found this place. The waitress helped me with three menu and I ordered garlic fried pork that came with white rice with a fried egg on top and it was delicious! The menu that is shown in the online pictures must be an older menu, just fyi.
This is an amazing establishment with excellent authentic Thai food and even better service. For one of my friends, this was a great first experience with Thai food and has encouraged them to try some other dishes in the future. The dining experience at the Bangkok House was a great exclamation point to an already amazing Myrtle Beach trip. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were serenaded by the fragrant smell of Thai food. The decoration in the building was beautiful as well. A true mood-setter and sneaky foreshadowing of what would be an amazing Thai experience. We were greeted with the beautiful smile of one waitress, Freya. Her service was over the top, as she ensured all of our needs were met and exceeded. The entire duration of our stay, Freya put on a beautiful, glowing smile and was extremely friendly. Freya did a great job of helping our friend pick out a Thai dish. Since he was freshly new to Thai, she gave him a rundown of what people usually like and personally customized a selection of dishes that he might enjoy after asking him a few questions about what he liked to eat. Her genuine kindness and eagerness to help us were fantastic. When there was a slight mix-up in dishes, she immediately claimed responsibility (even though it might not have been 100% her fault) and prioritized us to see that the problem was fixed. It was swiftly handled, and Freya easily resolved the situation. Aside from the astonishing service, the food was delicious. I got the Chicken Pad See Eew, and I had a couple of great notes about it. The meat was very flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The texture paired wonderfully with the noodles, the main part of the dish. The noodles were perfectly marinated in sauce, and the seasoning put the dish over the top. The noodles stood out wonderfully and made the dish an outstanding experience. The noodles busted in my mouth with flavor in every bite. The carrots were also a great support for the main dish. Some of the other amazing dishes that I recommend are the Pad Thai as well as the Fried Rice. The best appetizer that my friend won't stop talking about is their sticky rice. While I myself did not have it, one of my buddies absolutely fell in love with it at first bite. They also have a very diverse menu in terms of spiciness. The house is very friendly to those with all-spice tolerances, as the customization and modification options allow for the best experience for everyone. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great Thai experience.
The food is great! It tastes exactly like Authentic Thai if you’ve ever been to Thailand. The server is so nice I can tell that she loves what she is doing. I love how they have real Thai dishes, not only Pad Thai or Green Curry which Thai people don't ever tell you to eat if you go to Thailand. I really do recommend this place! This is a must try!!
I've been here several times and it was the best Thai restaurant so far. It is under new ownership but, the indoors were nice, Thai music was playing and believe it or not, we were the ONLY non-Thais eating there. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I had my dinner at Bangkok House last Sunday ,, the restaurant had changed the decorations and new owner. It was nice ,clean and cozy. I like that . Food is so delicious ,I ordered Pad Thai shrimp and Panang curry with chicken. It is authentic Thai food in this area. The best Thai food here. Thanks for serving the real Thai taste for us.
I and my husband just visited Myrtle Beach and stopped by Bangkok House. We ordered Thai chicken wings,Pad Thai chicken , and pineapple fried rice. It surprised us .. the pineapple fried rice comes with pineapple shells,, oh wow Amazing!! Foods are so delicious we ate them all , we enjoyed 😋 the food. The best Thai food in town . We recommend this place. We will come back. Thanks for delicious food.
I used to love coming here for the Tofu Pad Thai lunch special for YEARS! It was hands down the best Pad Thai on the beach! Not to mention, the waitress always remembered us, and were always extremely friendly. However there has been a recent change in ownership, and the lunch special no longer offers tofu. Not to mention they raised the price on the lunch special. The cook who made each meal with care is gone now too. And lastly, our favorite server to go see, no longer works there. There was nothing wrong with this place before, now it looks like I have to find a new lunch spot. Pretty sad. This is the end of an era. BRING BACK THE GOOD BANGKOK HOUSE!!! This new vibe is terrible. You can't substitute anything either, so I can't even eat here anymore. You've lost at least five, 20yr+ customers, in no time flat. And that's 5 regular customers from a single household. I can't imagine any other locals find this change to be good.
The staff was very friendly. The service was great and the food was delicious!
It makes me so sad to write this review. I used to come here weekly for lunch. I’m guessing they have new owners now and the inside is completely different. The lady I spoke with was very polite and kind. The yellow curry was alright (not what it was at all before for YEARS) and the hot and sour soup was so bad I threw it straight out, and I loved the old hot and sour soup. Didn’t even have chicken in it anymore. Was slightly cheaper but I got no where near the amount of food I used to. I am sad to say I probably won’t be going there anymore…😞
The food was hot & delicious. Service was good also.
So my family and I have been coming to the restaurant for over 30 years. They briefly closed to "remodel".We were very disappointed in everything! The food is not the same the menu has changed and the staff doesn't speak or understand English well .We were extremely ove charged on our bill .She couldn't tell us why but demand we pay amount due so we did of course..So sorry they made such big changes but its definitely not what it was before or worth it.Seems 2 couples before us were complaining as well. So sad they use to have such great food.
☆☆☆UPDATE☆☆☆
The owners retired a couple of weeks ago, and there are new owners. We stopped in to get some comfort food, and were a little surprised to see that the menu was a lot smaller. They no longer have our two favorites, crispy duck and pumpkin curry.
We ordered pad thai, yellow curry, and penang. Our food was good, but not great. It seemed like the ingredients were of a lesser quality than a couple weeks ago. There was also a LOT of onions in my yellow curry.
Service was slow, and a couple people came, were seated, and left after not being attended to.
There were signs saying "now hiring," so I get it, new owners, new kinks to work out. We might try them again, if we're in the area.
☆☆☆Old review below☆☆☆
Their food here is really good. I had the pumpkin curry, and it was phenomenal! The massaman curry was nice and spicy, and my daughters pad thai was also really good. The service was quick, and we were served after only a short wait.
So so good food is fabulous service can be slow but it’s worth it !
Great food and good service.
Will definitely be back again soon.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Bangkok. We were traveling from out of town on vacation. The food was fresh and authentic Thai Food. I had the Panang Chicken and Shrimp and the Tom Soup. It was delicious. I strongly recommended.
Best Thai food I’ve ever had
All I can say is legit. And yummy
Authentic Tai food...Best in the Grand Strand
Food was so good. We had fish cake appetizer,Crystal noodle, drunken noodle, Thai fried rice and Massaman curry.
Excellent food and reasonably price. Great service. 👍
Hidden Authentic Local Gem❤️
Food is pricey for small portions.
Went here before lock down of the pandemic but I couldn't remember the name until now. I'm Laotian and the food was amazing and definitely authentic and we requested padak to our larp and it was Soo good. Coming back soon!
What a find! We fled from a disappointing experience at a place not far away and needed to eat, so we stumbled into this place. What a fortunate coincidence. Do not (especially in Myrtle Beach) judge a restaurant by its exterior! Service was professional and quick, food was excellent. You can’t say that about many other places in MB…
We discovered this local gem while doing laundry less than a block over. They are closed on Mondays, have vegetarian and vegan plant-based options and the AC is nice and cool for hot Summer days.
The food is authentically fresh, delicious, and service is friendly and fast for this family owned and run restaurant. Serving sizes are shareable, prices are reasonable and the best part is the art and history experience from the decor.
I was able to turn our visit into a homeschool authentic learning experience and truly appreciate this businesses existence!
It is kiddo approved and spice levels may be adjusted accordingly with communication. Remember the answer is always no if you never ask!
Quality experience and recommend to families visiting and locals looking for a break from cooking! 🙏🥰
This place is a hidden gem! This was our first experience with Thai cuisine and it was REALLY good. There only appeared to be 2 people working but they handled the handful of customers extremely well. The food we ordered was fast, fresh, hot and delicious. Everything we ordered was a win. We had the Sampler for 2, Stir Fried Basil, Vegetable Combo w/ chicken and for our youngest we ordered plain Lo Mein noodles w/ chicken. I ordered the Thai Iced Tea(wow! it was good, must try item). Went a second time a year apart and food is just as good as the first visit. Highly recommend this place, our family loves it!
Good authentic Thai. Very spicy
3.8 Okay, now I’ll communicate my rating. The aroma was the attraction to enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The food was hot, good and appealing yet having traveled through east Asia it appears there was a little bit loss of authenticity. The interior was comfortable yet a minor update should be reviewed. Hungry? Stop in and grab something it’ll be okay.
I’m always somewhere and nowhere.. follow me to see where I am not!
Let me know if I have been helpful!
Just ordered and had my fiance pick up.. as I'm sick in the hotel with a cold. OMG amazing.
Surprisingly good food and great portions. The decor leaves abit to be desires but if you can get past that you can have a great meal with
Great Food! Amazing service would recommend to everyone!
Hidden Gem!!! Fantastic flavors, clean restaurant and friendly staff. All dishes were better than other area Thai restaurants. This has now moved to the TOP of our list. Thanks for a great experience.
Service was great/ food was bland
Fantastic food, great prices. You won’t find tourists here
The food quality is excellent every single time, best thai in MB
This is our Favorite restaurant by far. We are locals and we eat here all the time. The food is amazing and delicious and constantly perfect everytime we go there the wait staff is so sweet everytime and by far you will not get better food than this. For Thai food this is the only place you should be going☺️
Dirty dirt y dirty, dirty, dirty And the food was far at best. I'm not sure how this place gets the rating. It does from other people. Not many Thai places choose from around here
Every item besides the appetizer tray we ordered was incorrect. The wait staff was on point but the disconnect seemed to come from the kitchen. We were mid meal when the cook came out shut off the TV and the AC and said she was going home. It was 8:30 and Yelp said it was open till 10. I'm giving 3 stars solely because the wait staff did her job barring a mess up with the drinks and the food despite not being what we ordered was still very good.
Absolutely fantastic, authentic Thai curry.
This is undoubtedly the best Thai restaurant in MyB (better than Thai-Lao next door or Thai Palms restaurant). Tom Kha soup was simply amazing, perhaps the best I've had in the US in three years. The chef is a fantastic Thai lady. The food quality is like in Thailand, exactly! One small cons - it's a pity that there is no beer :( But! Authentic atmosphere of a typical Thai cafe, and even Thai radio! Papaya salad Som tum and pad krapow nua (basil beef stir-fry) were also good. Since I have been to Thailand more than 25 times, you can consider this an expert opinion. Highly recommend!
Best Thai restaurant in Myrtle Beach hands down! Food is authentic and made from Thai home essence if you get what I am saying! It is delicious!Quaint, small place with a peaceful, serene atmosphere! Great vibes, Great people! My go to place...❤❤
