Noodle dishes, rice entrees & other classic Thai dishes served in an unassuming restaurant.
Good taste food, good service and the prices aren't so expensive. The atmosphere is clean and cozy to eat there or pick the food to eat at home. It's a very good option if you want to eat tasty Thai food. If you don't want spicy they have options. I eat the option Number 1.4 SWEET AND SOUR with beef with pineapple with Jasmine tea. It was delicious! I recommend them!
The food was very good and we will be going back. I gave a 4/5 because the flavor was too understated.
We had the very bland Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoon for appetizer. My wife had a delicious Massaman Curry Chicken (she likes mild). I had Shrimp Pad Thai. I ordered the Pad Thai with Medium spice. It was the most authentic Pad Thai I have had in years. It was delicious, but here was absolutely no heat to it whatsoever. This really detracted from the flavor. We also split the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert which was also very good.
The service was excellent!
The restaurant was simple and nicely done. However, there is no vestibule, so whenever someone entered or left the restaurant a cold wind blows through the seating area. The front of the building is floor to ceiling glass, so when someone parked in front of the building turns on their headlights it is blindingly bright.
Overall, we liked Thai Spice and will be going back
If you want to experience a delicious meal that isn't your normal flavor, you really should give Thai Spice a try on town square in Abbeville, S.C.
You can enjoy ordering dishes spicy, normal (or not spicy. I personally enjoy a bit of spicy foods on occasion, but I don't enjoy eating too spicy.
I enjoyed my Nam Tok beef salad & rice noodle soup with calamari. My wife had the Pork Fried rice, & Tom Yum soup w/chicken & we both really enjoyed the authentic Thai tea for our drink. Next time, I will definitely try their Tom Kha soup w/chicken.
If you don't like any spicy foods, be sure to mention that to your server, otherwise it will have a little bit of kick.
Great food - best Thai poption in the area with an extensive menu. Great service. We ate in and didn’t have to wait for ages for them to get through the to-go orders. Food is a bit spicy so be careful how many stars you request!
Update: we returned the next week and I got the eggplant basil stir fry with fresh tofu and it was among the best Thai dishes I’ve had! The server was also super apologetic that my husband’s meal came out about 10 minutes before mine.
Just ordered take out from here for the first time. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The dining area is small but clean. The gentleman who took our order was extremely nice and attentive. We waited less than 20 minutes for our food. We ordered the teriyaki chicken lunch entree, pad Thai lunch entree, and the red curry lunch entree. All three dishes were excellent. Good size portions and reasonable prices. We will definitely be returning!
It's very tasty good. I've been there with family . The service was excellent.

American spicy is the perfect amount for the chicken pad Thai, amazing taste. Great and friendly service
Best Thai food around. Consistently delicious. Fun staff.
Usually very pleased with the food and service. However, on this Sunday night 10/27/24, near closing time, this Spicy Veggie dish with Shrimp, was very very disappointing, to say the least. The shrimp was inedible (tough and chewy), the basil/broccoli was chewy but wouldn't actually chew up or break down to swallow, the rice was soggy and that has never happened. We always eat in (lunch mostly); but tonight, we got a to-go box (Sunday night). Not only was it a lot more expensive but the quality was no where near what we have had inside the restaurant on weekdays. What happened?
This is my first choice for Thai food!!!!
The food is great.
Best Thai food in the upstate.
Thai Spice never ever disappoints!! They use incredibly fresh ingredients and you can taste it! My favorite is the ginger chicken, loads of shredded fresh ginger and vegetables with succulent chicken in a wonderful sauce. The spring rolls are crunchy and come out super hot and fresh!
Very good food and great service !
Massaman curry was absolutely delicious… I’ll be coming back every chance I get

First time Thai fried rice had a very bad burt taste. Decide to try the place out again and ordered the Red Snapper, the fish was old, it was very rubbery and tuff. I did not reheat or anything, I tried it as soon as I got the order. I will not be back.
Best Thai food in Anderson. It's not in the best location, but the food and service are fantastic. Very convenient if you happen to be at the hospital.
Anderson is a little over an hour away for us but totally worth it for us to eat here. These people can cook Thai. Very, very good. Probably the best I've had since Hawaii and the Phillipines.
This is my absolute favorite Thai place. I've tried many other places across the US, but nothing compares. The chicken pad thai and the massaman curry with chicken are my go-to orders. So good!!
We've been eating here for a few years. The food has changed maybe because the cost of food has increased dramatically. Tom Kha Gai soup is still delicious and the best in the area, but the appetizers, crispy rolls and fresh rolls, were disappointing. The ingredients have changed and they are not as tasty. Rice seems to have been added as a filler. The Crispy Pad Thai is still very good. We'll still eat here, but our selections will change
I have been eating there for a while and the prices have been going up every time I order drunken noodles started at 11:95 then it went to 13 then it went to 1410 now it’s up to 1521 Think It’s about time for me to find somewhere else to start eating dinner and food don’t taste the same I hate to do this i’m really disappointed I ordered today and the price was $15 and the food wasn’t the same
Prices are much higher than this menu. Add 7 bucks to each entree price and 3 to each appetizer. They need to upload a recent menu.
I love eating here, very cozy, great food and friendly servers.
Great food
Incredible fragrant, freshly prepared Thai food exploding with layers of flavor and seasoned to perfection. The ingredients used are fresh, and the food is delivered to your table hot and delicious. My wife had the cashew nut chicken and the chicken pieces were crunchy and the sauce was well balanced but intensely flavored. I had the paradise ginger chicken and it was loaded with jullienned ginger and savory sauce, and chunks of white meat chicken. You will wait for your food, but it is worth the wait, because everything is prepared fresh to order and the quality of the food shows the care taken in getting the dishes to your table.
Love this place always good food.
Great food, great service. Occasionally slow at lunch but worth the wait.
Stopped in for dinner before a soccer game at Anderson. The food portions were large and very tasty. I had the fried tofu and fresh rolls for appetizers which were very good and came with tasty sauce.
They seem to also do a large amount of take out orders but keep a focus on the people dining in.
Great Thai food, one of my favorite places to eat in Anderson.
Thai basil eggplant chicken is the best I've ever had. The wait is sometimes long because of staff shortage(?) but definitely worth the wait! The spring rolls are awesome too.
Food is excellent. They do a lot of to go orders which makes service inside slow but still worth the wait.
Very clean health food Excellent Thai food. I don't have to drive back to Atlanta for good Thai food!
My wife and I love this place
Great spot - excellent food and service. The green curry and Panang curry are both fantastic.
Best Thai in Anderson

Cashew chicken!
Our go-to place for Thai food! The staff are friendly and so helpful. It is family friendly and the food is DELICIOUS!! Our favorite is the Pineapple fried rice with chicken. Yummy!
Greatest Thai food I've ever had
First time eating Thai food, so I went with something familiar which was pad Thai. It smelled like wet dog which made it very hard to eat. The smell was nauseating. Thought I was crazy about the smell, but there was a customer near me and he got the same thing and couldn't even eat any of it. The waiter blamed it on a different cook. I understand if one person doesn't do the cooking all the time, but everyone should prepare it the same. It made for a bad experience and I'm not likely going to go back and will try someplace else.
The food and atmosphere very very good and cozy great place for a special date!!
Great atmosphere, good food, and kind people. It took a long time, but they were also very busy, with good reason.
Love this place now that they overcame their C rating but the service is beyond horrible. Told to go order would be ready in 25 minutes an hour later told it would be another 35 minutes. Love the food but there is no guessing how long it will take on any given day.
Wow I love this place. I've had the Pad Thai, the Pad Woon Sen and the garlic lover(?) that has broccoli and beef. The fried dumplings and the fried spring roll. I love all of it, the food here is incredible and everyone who works there is so kind and friendly. I've never sat down anywhere else in Anderson and felt as welcome as I do here. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, great food. 5/5. Cannot recommend enough.
Best experience.
Thai Spice is my favorite place for Thai food. My wife accidentally ordered from there one day, and it was the best.
It is so wonderful to get vegan food in Anderson.
This is by far the best Thai food in the south. I know it sounds crazy that it's in Anderson, but I have been all over the south east and have tried Thai food everywhere because it is my favorite food.
Another guy I met at the table next to me said he lived in Thailand for 4 years and he confirmed that Thai Spice is the closest thing you get to the real cuisine and that it is is far better than competitors anywhere else he's been in the U. S. This has been my favorite restaurant for the last 15 years. I would even drive up from Atlanta on weekends to see my family, but mostly to get Thai Spice.
Their staff is incredibly friendly and they know me and several other customers by name and what they like to order.
I highly recommend the massaman curry or Pad Thai if you are trying to be gluten free. Or the spicy linguini with shrimp or Thai Spice chicken is also phenomenal. I've never had a bad dish from here. Their spring rolls are also out of this world.
My wife and I found this place by accident one Sunday waiting for the library to open. The food is so good. We went back a week later to take the kids to get some Thai food. They loved the food. We will be going back for sure.
Absolutely amazing food. Can be a bit of a wait sometimes to get the food but is 100% worth it. Best Asian food in Anderson by a long shot. No where else compares.
I love Thai food and I am glad I found this place. The food is perfect.
The proprietor shares my love for extra spicy Thai food and gives me their roasted spice and chilli grind every time I go. I must also mention the advice on ingredients and other Thai cooking related tips I get from them. In other words, everyone is friendly and personable and treats me like family.
Always fresh and delicious!
Great food - best Thai poption in the area with an extensive menu. Great service. We ate in and didn’t have to wait for ages for them to get through the to-go orders. Food is a bit spicy so be careful how many stars you request!

Excellent food
This was our first time trying Thai spice. A friend told us the food was delicious and we decided to go ahead and see it for ourselves.
My husband had the roasted duck and pineapple fried rice and I had the red curry with tofu and Tom Kha soup, everything was delightful and we did not want it to end! We highly recommend this place. A great option for Thai food in Anderson.
The best in town.
Probably my favorite Thai in Anderson. If you call and they’re busy, there’s good reason for it. Don’t let the location fool you, you gotta try this spot.
Do not eat on Sundays.
** Came back in. The food was even better than the first time. It was fresh, delicious and big portions. We got the vegetable soup, fresh rolls, Thai fried rice and chicken green curry. The service was fantastic and the server remembered me with my food restrictions. Will be back for sure.
The food is delicious, affordable and huge portions.
The vegan options are fantastic. We ordered the green curry, massamon, and fresh rolls.
**warning all sauces are made with fish and the curries are vegan.
Love this place. I'm happy that they started serving inside again. One of the main issues with our daughter moving back to the Charleston area is not having an opportunity to eat here as much as we did while she was attending AU.
The food was Phenomenal and the staff was very kind. I love to get Pad se ew when visiting new Thai restaurants, this one was VERY good. Be warned if you ask to spice up your dish- they know how to bring the heat!
The very best Massaman Curry with shrimp tonight. As always so delicious and we highly recommend.
The first time eating Thai, experience was beyond expectations 😋
Me and my sister got two appetizers and two entrees, and the food came very fast, and the employees were extremely kind and attentive. Our cups were kept full, and they knew the menu back to front. Definitely somewhere I will be going.
Good food
Great Thai food. Had the Pad Thai.
Great food
Great place to eat at
Food is always served hot and never been disappointed.
"Places that look simple, but are packed with cars? That's where the good food is."
Words of wisdom from my father that ring true at Thai Spice.
If you are nervous about trying Thai for the first time like I was, get the Spicey cashew nut with chicken. You can't go wrong with that.
Always delicious and always fresh
Love this place
This place had the absolute best fresh calamari I've had in upstate! Their service was great, their place was clean, excellent food all the way around! Great prices and portions! I will definitely be coming back!
I’m my opinion this is the best restaurant in Anderson, not just the best Thai or Asian, the best restaurant period. Incredibly consistent over years of eating here, never been disappointed, always so happy with my meal. Excellent service as well.
Dining room was a bit claustrophobic, if you’re sitting next to someone loud good luck having a conversation.
Food was pretty good and was a huge portion for the price but took a very long time - seems like take out is prioritized.
This place does a very good job with all their dishes. I was a little concerned that there were so few people at the restaurant but I'm glad I stayed.
They are my go to here in Anderson. They know what they are doing! Love the spring rolls!
Outstanding Thai food! Best for carry out as location is small and not super inviting.
Fresh, delicious food. Staff is very nice and friendly. Prices are good. I’d eat here every day if I could!
No dine in, no business from those of us who are from out of town! So disappointing! Drive 30 minutes, Google maps said they were dine in, wouldn't answer the phone and Facebook hasn't been updated in 3 years....🤔
Called in on December 10, 2022 and dining room is open! Yay!!
Great customer service and good food
Close down kitchen at 8:30 when they close at 9
Casual, comfortable dining atmosphere, common Thai food choices, great service.
I recommend the honey glazed duck!!
Excellent Food!
I had the Thai spicy fried rice which tasted good. The portions for dinner are huge with less price. Only drawback is that they have take out only.
Delish.
Best Thai around
I use to love this place. When we pulled up they had a sign in the window dinning room closed so we did not eat there. I wish they would have answered the phone so they could tell me dinning room was closed or at least put this information online so I would have known before I went all the way across town
The spicy linguine is awesome!
Take out only but great meal. They suggested a nearby park which was a wonderful place to eat
One of my FAVORITE Thai places. My coworkers found this place and it became a tradition.
Great food with lots of options. Specifically their spring rolls and cucumber salad.
[As someone with SPD, food can be hard for me and this is one of my "safe places" for eating.]
Delicious food!! Great service
Had my first meal from here today and it was excellent! Best Thai food I've had since Thailand 16 years ago. I had chicken Curry and the chef used my requested veggies, broccoli and onion. Lots of great chicken and veggies. I'm a small person and I ate it all! I'll be a regular here.
Good food, nicely priced. Visited twice since locating to the area. Have of yet to disappoint
Massaman Curry, Eggplant Basil, Green Curry, Spicy Veggie, Pad Kapow, with chicken are my go to items on their menu. During lunch hours, you get a spring roll with your order. At dinner, you have to order the spring rolls separately. The spring rolls are worth ordering, since they are probably the best in the Anderson/Greenville area!
Great service...very prompt and friendly. Dine in service is not an option at this time but you can order by phone or walk in for takeout orders. Prices are moderate and there is a great variety of choices on the menu. You can order items spicy or "normal," which can still be spicy.
Very good food!
This was my first time experiencing Thai food. The staff was extremely friendly and accurate in helping me pick out the best food. Actually, my next 8 meals to try! I love this place, they never disappoint, and every meal gets better and more exciting!
Great food
Good Thai food
Super friendly people. Very yummy food
I love this place. Great food!
Great place and the owner was very friendly. (UberEats Driver)
Thai Spice remains on top as the best Thai place ever!!! Ms. Dan and her amazing staff never fail when it comes to delivering consistent phenomenal tasting food. I’ve been a customer for over a decade and the deliciousness that drew me there keeps me there!! All items are great but I keep coming home to the Green Curry with chicken!!
Best thai food in the Upstate! Awesome service and the chef is amazing
I’ve frequented many Thai restaurants in the upstate. I’m consistently left with the impression that Thai Spice is by far the best. I’m never dissatisfied, and the portions are always generous. Thai Spice has grown to be a favorite of mine.
I would definitely have to say this has some delicious Tai food. I do wish the reasturant was a little more well kept but hey I understand the struggle. But as far as food goes...the Panang Curry is delicious and would definitely recommend.
Don’t be fooled by rundown looks, this is a gem, awesome food. They are pretty busy even with takeouts nowadays.
Authentic Thai food! Come here if you want great tasting Thai food and courteous services.
My favorite, food always hot, friendly staff
Great vegan options, and the food is SO yummy.
Great food! Have been coming here for years & the quality of food is the same.
Lovely food, and plenty of it!! I'll be eating again the next day on these noodles.
New to the area and enjoyed this place a couple of times already. The pad thai, pineapple fried rice, soup, thai tea, and crispy rolls are all delicious. I will say allow some extra time for pick up. Our food was ready at least 10 minutes later than expected on both occasions. It was worth the wait though.
Good Eats 👍
Always fantastic food. Not too expensive, with a huge portion.
I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu because I have had it many times before but at various Thai Restaurants not located in So Carolina. I thought I would try Thai Spice because I love Thai food. However, I didn't like it. I didnt even like their Thai Iced Tea!! Terrible experience for me. I wont be back.
Great Thai food! Wait time was a little long but absolutely worth the wait! We will be eating here again!
I got green curry and a thai tea to go last week. It was delicious!!
Take-out only during the pandemic. The food is quite good for a small city Thai restaurant.
Nasty
Awesome food! The flavors are amazing! Do yourself a favor, and give them a try! You won't be disappointed! Enjoy!
This is 100% the best thai food I've had.
