Thai restaurant in South hills. Dine-in and take out!
Just got Chao Phraya for the first time and man it's so amazing to have a great Thai food restaurant near West Mifflin 🥲 got the Pad Thai at 3 spice level and it is so flavorful and spicy. We got it to go but the dining area looked really nice inside as well. Will be recommending this place to my friends in the future!
It was my first time ordering there wasn’t aware to you should tell them about mild or spicy long story short I got fried rice added shrimp and spring rolls the rice had little taste no spice and very small portions for the price and also the spring rolls was the size of my pinky I usually don’t put in reviews like this but after calling and getting screamed at on the phone I said ah ah that’s not what you do to a customer period on the menu it tells you scallops are in the rice so if I added shrimp why I got a dry dish let me get out these comments and be nice but I’m from New Orleans and the Thai food is very different there. So if your ordering food and you want spicy please tell them because there not going to explain or ask .
This has been our go-to for Thai! I am so glad we took a chance on this place because it’s a hidden gem!
We’ve been searching for decent pad thai in the south hills. We won’t get it anywhere else now. Most places make theirs too sweet. The only downside is that the dish is so good I don’t try anything else! I usually get the shrimp version and it’s cooked perfectly. My husband gets the chicken version.
We regularly get pad thai and the green papaya salad. Our son loves the thai fried rice and our daughter gets the dumplings and soup. The Thai iced tea is fantastic, too.
This place does a ton of takeout so sometimes we do wait a bit when dining in, but the staff is friendly and will let us know that. Actually, we’ve only dined in so I am commenting about food that has been served piping hot from the wok. I can’t speak to how it arrives as takeout, but I am sure it’s great.
Take a chance on this place!
Good Thai food at good prices and friendly service. We've eaten here repeatedly, and this is a go-to spot for us for lunch. Pretty much everything on the menu is fantastic and authentic. Thai iced tea is to die for...
The food at this Thai restaurant was so delicious that it’s hard to put into words. With each bite, I felt as though I was experiencing a little bit of Heaven. It’s a shame that I was hindered by my stomach getting full, because I could have finished everything on the table. My true favorites were the Thai Spring Roll, Chicken Satay, Seafood Fried Rice and Spicy Bangkok Noodle with Banana Bubble Tea to drink and Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. You won’t leave this place being hungry!
Fantastic place, my favorite Thai food place for lunch and dinner. They are awesome at takeout too, although it's usually ~1hr to get food (so plan accordingly)
Clean, casual place with excellent service. Food was good authentic Thai but not amazing. Everything was fresh and spice level was as ordered. Will return.
Delicious!
First time having Curry was here. It ruined every other curry. It's just the best
Fantastic Thai food.
Buy the dinner sizes. Inexpensive.
Large portions, VERY fresh and delicious.
Best yellow curry I’ve had in years!! My new go to spot!!
Food is amazing. Pad see ew is delicious. Best Asian food in the area by far! Wish I found this gem earlier.

The food is fantastic and the waitstaff are very friendly!
ordered takeout, food was wonderful.
Pad Tia is fantastic. Every time in area I try eat here. Great every time. Nothing fancy just good food at reasonable prices.
Ordered online and was given a 30 minute wait time. When I arrived, I was told it would be an additional 35 minutes. When I returned after patiently waiting over 1 hour, I was told it would be another 15-20 minutes. At which point I asked for a partial refund and was told no. The manager was rude and unwilling to provide ANY customer service.
Best Thai food in the south hills hands down.
They have good vegetarian options which is great when your wife doesn’t eat meat.
The drunken noodles are probably my favorite dish right now. They recently have kicked up the spice so level 5 is pretty spicy.
The staff is always friendly, while we primarily use this as a takeout location — the few times we’ve dined in have been delightful.
No thrills inside and the place is clean.
Delish food! Happy its not too far from my job when I'm craving Thai for lunch!
Found a new place to eat when we come out to da 'burgh. 👍👍👍👍👍
let me tell you if i could eat here everyday of the week i would! we’ve been ordering from here for years and every time the food is fresh and steaming, and the taste is delicious! I’ve tried Thai places ALL over the city and they are my top. I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT.
Best Thai in the Burgh.
My husband and I love Thai Cuisine, and we're happy to have visited this one. Nice atmosphere, and great, attentive service. The food was delicious.
Very good, very spicy. Service was good. I'll definitely be back.
Quiet quaint place, wonderful service, amazing food.
(Tofu)Pad thai was spectacular, and when asked for a level 5 spicy she gave me a level 5! (She warned me to ensure I wanted the hottest level). Everything was amazing! The tofu was perfectly cooked, the texture was great, not smooshy.
I can not say enough good things.
So happy I found an amazing Thai place in the south hills. Some of the most authentic and all around delicious Thai iv ever had. The staff is friendly the restaurant is clean and tidy, exactly everything you want in a goto eatery. I will be a regular for sure.
Clean space with great service. Enjoyed the spring roll appetizer as well as the dumplings. 2 of us had the cashew dish one with shrimp and one with chicken. You can choose your spice level from 1-5 and the four we ordered was just enough spice. Highly recommend 👍
This was my first time ordering from this establishment. I’m giving service a one because the little girl behind the counter seemed disinterested in being courteous and dismissively waved her hand to show me where the food was. As for the food itself, the flavour of the curry was promising but the chicken was drier than dry. I also ordered pork fried rice and beef fried rice and they must have a problem with tenderising their meat because the pork and beef dittoed the chicken. Also, the fried rice was too salty. The portions are extremely small for such a high price. Go to the Bean Curd in McMurray PA.
Nice people, delicious food, reasonable prices.
Let me start by saying the food is great. I’ve eaten here a handful of times, and the food was always amazing! But holy cow does it take forever. And I mean forever. Every time I’ve either eaten at the restaurant or taken out, I’m always told it’s busy and it’ll take time. Which is fine you can’t expect your food to be ready immediately. This is just ridiculous though. When I’ve eaten in the restaurant I’m one of only two tables sat if not the only table they have. Takes over an hour to get the food. Recently made an order for pick up and knew I had to be somewhere later, so I made the call earlier assuming it would take a while. They say 45 minutes so I arrive an hour after I called. Took another 30 minutes after that before I got my food. Makes me so sad that this is way they operate because I’d go more often. Like I said the food is great! But there is no reason for it to take an hour and a half to make two orders of chicken pad thai.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in the area. Great taste, fair pricing, and solid service. Highly recommend.
Always my go to place for Thai. Recently ordered online and when I arrived they said they are to busy and I had to wait 20 minutes past my scheduled time of pickup. I couldn’t wait as I had a meeting. I had to leave with no food and will not be back.
I love this place. I have come here twice now and both times have been amazing.
Boba - amazing. I love the banana.
Appetizers: crab angel sounds like crab Rangoon but is 100 times better. Best edamame I've ever had. The fresh rolls are also amazing.
When I came we all shared a little of our entrees and everything was amazing. I particularly loved the yellow curry.
Takeout order at 6:08pm
Email said ready @ 6:38pm
2nd email states 6:58pm
Get there at 7pm and told another 30 minutes
Not the first time
This is my favorite Thai food restaurant in the area and my top go-to for takeout. The food is always delicious and fresh and the portions are great. They always pay attention to my special requests for the dishes and are all such nice people!
They make everything to order, geat food every time. Owners and staff are extremely kind. Lunch special is good too.
Great place for Thai food. Delicious!
Some of the best Thai food in Pittsburgh. Love this place. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. I know more then just my pizza :)
The soup was amazing and the boba Thai tea is one of my favorites!
Excellent service too :)
The old lady is very rude. I wanted to eat here, but am never going back.
One of our favorite Thai restaurants! We love it, and have it several times a month. Food is always tasty and flavorful. Super friendly service too. Highly recommend
Always quick, courteous, and delicious. Best Thai food in this area! I've been to Thailand twice and lived there a while the second time. Excellent!
The lady and I stopped in for dinner. As soon as we came in , the young girl at the counter asked were we dining in. We replied “yes”. She didn’t saw “follow me “ or “right this way”, she just grabbed two menus from the counter and walked to a table and placed them down and walked away. Ok? Friendly no ?
I ordered the pineapple curry and asked for a level 2. I was told it starts there as far as heat goes and goes all the way to a 5. I said the 2 would do. That dish was NOT a 2! Burned my mouth to pieces. During our time, not once were we asked how is everything. Any good waitress/ waiter would ask a customer if he/ she needed a refill or come by to refill their glass, seeing if it were empty. Not this young lady. Passed by our table multiple times. No “is everything ok” , no refill, nothing. She came to take my gfs plate when she was done and my gf finally asked “can he get another water ? He’s completely out and has been for awhile. She went to go grab anything water for me and then placed the bill in front of my face and walked away. . Waitress / waiters , place the bill in the middle of the table. Don’t always assume a guy is always picking up a tab (even though I did). It’s the principle. Needless to say, we will not be returning and the waitress needs to work on her people skills.
Food Good and Waitresses Pleasant! However, my first experience was horrible! After 45 minutes of waiting, I asked Waitress what was going on? I could clearly see that online orders had preference over, patient customers inside! After finally getting our food and another table inquiring! A cook comes out yelling and hitting her hands! Telling us about online orders backing them up! First of all that's not our problem! Have a balance of your online and serving your customers who dine in! If it's that bad give your dine in customers a heads up 👆! Then they can decide if they stay and wait for 45 minutes! Management needs to get a hold on this issue! Could've at least given patience customers a discount on something! No one likes a cook coming out screaming 😱 on them! Won't be recommending this place to anyone! Oh if you are Online Customers I'm sure it's satisfying! Green Mango in Monroeville Excellent!
Had spring rolls and pad Thai. Ok. Nothing to write home about. Was pricey, around $30! I'm asian and have tried most of the asian places around pittsburgh. This was about on par with the rest. It's "Pittsburgh asian," which, in my opinion, is a bit bland. If you're from this area, maybe you'll rave about this place.
Horrible experience... the cook came and screamed at us that we needed a reservation. We decided to leave immediately! Dont ever go to this place!
Tried calling ahead. No one answered. Reached after driving 40 mins. The cook comes and yells that you should have made a reservation! He continues yelling even after we say that we tried. BTW, the place was empty. We just left.
Had best drunken noodles, mango sticky rice, spring rolls were amazing and I had crispy tofu I never had before had tofu before but there's was so good didn't taste like hot garbage. Definitely will be back.
Update: Their food quality has been very consistent!
Excellent food and lovely owners! Perfect lunch portion, dinner menu usually gives us leftover to eat the following day (obviously not complaining).
Just had a late lunch here, and when I walked in it smelled so good. We ordered 3 entrees and an appetizer and it was delicious, fresh, I mean, it was incredible. We will definitely be back!
Spectacular meal with friends on a Monday evening! Excellent lettuce wraps to start things off, mildly spicy drunken noodles and pots of tea for me and Bangkok noodles for our friends. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, definitely not run of the mill. We will be back.
Fantastic and a must try! Had a few of their curry dishes. Well decorated and cozy space.
I had the garlic-lover's entree, and I have to say, it was one of the best things I have ever eaten! I like a high spice level, so I chose 5, and it was superb. It was filled with seafood! The tom yam soup was spicy and delicious, each of the vegetables fresh and crunchy.
The sticky rice and mango dessert was amazing! Warm rice with cool mango and sweet coconut milk. Definitely end your meal with some, but it's a pretty big portion, so beware!
Good food and cozy atmosphere.
Stopped for lunch food was good and also good service
Authentic, spicy and delicious! The papaya salad, green curry and soups are amazing! Everything is fresh and homemade. Staff is friendly with very proficient English. Just be careful if you can't tolerate a lot of heat, tell them spicy 0 or 1. One of my favorite places to eat. Their soup is literally the best I've ever had in my life.
Only Thai I've had, but has its place in my households eating rotation
Simply the best Thai food in the Pittsburgh area! I’m so glad we discovered this place, it’s now one of my favorite restaurants!
Delicious food and lots of it. Highly recommended!
This visit on a Friday was met with a full restaurant and under staffing, which resulted in take out times being a hour wait for food. Also dine in times were also really long. This visit I left without getting any food.
Great Thai food. Love this place.
Really nice and clean place to dine in. Really good massaman curry
Food is good but they're very stingy on the meat, & it's way too expensive to be getting 4 shrimp in a order of fried rice smh.
Delicious Food and Excellent service
The best Thai food in the South Hills. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. We love Miss Opal!!
Excellent food
Best crab rangoons EVER. Seriously. Worth the trip just for those. Great noodle dishes, and non noodle dishes as well.
Very good Drunken Beef Noodles along with the won ton soup...excellent quality along with great service... We'll be back ...
I just discovered this place by chance even though I live within 15 minutes of it. I placed an online order for their red curry with the highest spice level and they absolutely did NOT disappoint. It was so spicy and flavorful and it made me incredibly happy. The staff was super friendly too. Will definitely be returning!
I am very happy that our area finally has a Thai restaurant. I eat a plant based diet and Thai cuisine offers many healthy options. The cooking here is among the best I've had.
Extremely nice staff and very attentive. Even the cook, who I believe was also the owner, came out to check on us and made sure we were happy with our food.
Definitely looking forward to dining there again.
Run don't walk to this place. My boyfriend and I have been searching for a GOOD Thai restaurant in the south hills and after four years we have been disappointed. This place is the one to go to. It's spicy if you want it to be and very well seasoned. Now I want to keep going to try everything because the first order was so great.
Super quick food! Also the quality is amazing. I think this is the best pad Thai I've had in Pittsburgh yet and I've already tried a few popular spots. I'm hoping to try their other dishes soon!
This place is amazing! It has a great food and nice setting as a restaurant. I had tried Thai food at many places and this place has the best taste and pretty large amount of food. My all time favourite foods are Tom Kha soup, Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Thai Spicy Basil Fried rice, Green curry, Garlic Lover, and Thai iced tea. I'm pretty sure everyone has different likes of foods, however, the foods there are just good and suitable for everyone. I also like the spicy scales from 0 through 5. Those spiciness scale isn't a joke and the number 5 always satisfied me. Most restaurants do not keep up consistency of spiciness. In terms of restaurant setting, it looks cozy and nice layout to dine in. ( I never had an experience of dining in due to COVID-19) Overall, this place is great if you are Thai food enthusiast. One thing to note is that they are abit slow due to cook and servers shortage. In my opinion, it is worth waiting for a best food and the store owner also give you pretty accurate time for waiting based on their busy hours.
This is the best Thai food I've ever had. Im lucky enough to live down the road from them and I am a regular. I try to stop in at least once a week. Best Pad Thai in Pittsburgh! 😍😍
I’m a regular at Chao Phraya. The food is so good!!! Particularly, I get the coconut curry based dishes. The ingredients are fresh, prices are good, and the staff are friendly. This is my all-time favorite Thai food in Pittsburgh and I’ve been to all of them I believe. :) I encourage my friends to come and get food since this restaurant does a wonderful job and I hope they stay in business for the sake of good business!
Top-notch Thai food, well worth a visit.
I am so thankful 🙏 for this new restaurant. This area was in desperate need of good Asian restaurant. The inside is beautiful and clean, somewhere you would actually want to stay and enjoy a meal. Also, The workers were so pleasant and kind. I stopped in for takeout and ordered the chicken satay and the crab angels - a.k.a crab rangoons. They were both so delicious and my order was ready lickety-split. Reasonably priced and well worth every penny. The chicken satay was tender, juicy and came with this yummy peanut dipping sauce which was AMAZING! The crab rangoons were super crispy and the filing was sweet and creamy with actual peices of crabmeat in them.....go figure! I can't wait to try everything else! The only way to improve this place would be if they delivered.
Outstanding food. Highly recommend!!
Cannot recommend enough! I've lived near here for my entire life and have been in this shopping center a hundred times, and I'm not sure I ever noticed it. But after a recent stop at Duffy's, I saw it and gave it a try. I cannot explain how good this Pad Thai was. Cannot believe I've been missing this my whole life. It's definitely more of a takeout place, since it's very tiny with only 2-3 workers in the whole place, but the waitress was very sweet and on top of things. With such little workers, you may have some long wait times for food, but it's well worth it. Crab Angel is to die for also!
LOOK AT THIS REVIEW. Exceptional local Thai food. Came in for lunch and everything was fresh and amazing. Sadly, they are short-staffed so wait time on super busy days may take longer than expected. In all, I recommend this restaurant for great local Thai food at a fair price.
Having a new Thai place in the area is really great. Thankfully, Chao Phraya is also SOLID Thai food.
Having had most of the dishes I'll say that while everything is good, a few things are great. The curries and pad thai are okay. They're tasty enough but nothing amazing, and probably won't be your favorite version of those dishes. Certainly better than you'll get from a Chinese restaurant.
The Thai Entrees are pretty good, the lettuce wraps are pretty good, the bubble tea is pretty good. Nothing was bad. Most things were... pretty good.
Some of the items are fantastic, though. The crispy tofu is awesome. It's not a complicated dish, but they do a perfect job of getting a nice crispy outside while keeping the interior nice and soft. The dish is more of a textural thing since it doesn't have a ton of flavor, but the peanut dipping sauce it comes with really makes it a dynamite little appetizer. Speaking of appetizers the chicken satay is also excellent, exactly what it should be. And Chao Phraya even has good pork dumplings.
By far my favorite dish though is the "Hawaiian" Fried Rice. While they call it "Hawaiian", I'd normally call this Thai Pineapple Fried Rice. The flavor is so unique. There really isn't any other fried rice quite like it because it's way more than just soy sauce and rice. It's sweet and savory and even spicy. The raisins and cashews shouldn't work, but they add so much flavor and variety.
I'd say all-in-all your big, popular Pittsburgh Thai places are probably still going to be your best bet for a top-tier Pad Thai or Pad See Ew... Chao Phraya is definitely the best Thai food in the South Hills and a few of their dishes are as good if not better than anything you'll find Downtown.
Good food, but too expensive.
I ordered chicken pho soup and the pad Thai, it was amazing. Flavor, flavor, flavor! Thank you Chaya Phraya!
We went in close to closing. They were friendly and took our orders. It was ready within 10 mins. Your food was so flavorful and delicious. Chicken Noodle soup was amazing, tastes the garlic in the broth. I will be back.
Fantastic food, good service, really enjoyed the spice (they will make as spicy as you ask for it to be!) Perfect noodles, everything was delicious!
Fantastic Thai Food!
I'm currently on a streak to try everything on the menu, so far my expectations are exceeded every time! Best Spring Rolls around, most comforting Pho Noodle Soup, and I've probably had the Mango Curry a dozen times now. Can't wait to come back :)
Not bad. Wish the curry had more punch to it.
Last time here!! I asked for a number 2 in spiciness of the food ,it was so hot I could eat it. Chicken panang and shrimp pad thai was just to hot.
I love this place!! The food is soo good, I tried one of the noodles and bubble tea. The spice is tailored to what you want. It's good to see a Thai restaurant around here since there's not much cultured foods.... if you want a good Thai place, come here!
The food here is amazing! The wonton soup is the best I ever had and I have tried many different restaurants. I usually get the veggie pad Thai and it is delicious. Everyone in my family loves the food here. The people there are so friendly. We usually get food there 1-2 times a week! Great place!
This Thai restaurant is absolutely amazing! OMG!
I couldn’t believe my luck in finding this place so close to where I live. I wish I could give them more than five stars. Their menu’s are far better, more delicious than some of my favorite DC Thai restaurant I visited while on vacation there.
Really nice thai food. Great service, fair prices.
I stopped by for lunch today and I'm so glad I did! The lunch special was an excellent value and I still have leftovers to take home! The crispy tofu was amazing and I loved the spring rolls. The food came quickly and my waitress was so nice and kind. I'll definitely return! ☺️
My favorite Thai restaurant in the southern suburbs of Pittsburgh. I've tried a variety of menu items and have enjoyed everything I've tried, especially the Tom Kha soup.
Every employee I've interacted with has also been very kind and friendly. When both the food and the people are great, that is a big win to me.
Best food ever!
Average to good thai food. After coming for a few months now, I have realized how unaccommodating the owner is with a gluten-free diet. I eat Thai food all around the Pittsburgh area and this is the only place that the owner literally seems annoyed and snaps at me when I ask for dishes to be made gluten-free. Needless to say, I will not be going back very often anymore and it's a shame because I live so close.
I was in the mood for Thai food and was pleased to find this little known gem near my work. Myself, and a few others, decided to get take out. The staff was friendly. The food was hot and fresh. Full of bold flavors and they had quite an extensive menu to choose from. I look forward to trying out more of their tasty dishes.
Some of the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. The spring rolls were delicious too. Definitely will be going back!
Absolutely fantastic Thai food. I got the chicken dumpling soup, fried pork potstickers, pork pad Thai, and Thai tea. Everything was absolutely amazing, top tier quality.
Great Thai food. Nice find in the south hills.
Zero customer service
Great service, wonderful food and decent prices. I went for lunch and got spicy basil no. 4 spice with spring rolls. I love spice and it was the perfect level. Delicious food and good quality too. Husband got the same thing but with ginger lemonade. That was awesome. Maybe a lot of sugar but it didn't hurt the taste. He had two glasses. I had the green bubble tea. Whole bill was 30 bucks. I'm full and content. We will be back.
Some of the best Thai food I've had anywhere outside Thailand. Nice atmosphere, good service.
Nice people and excellent food
Fantastic fresh Thai food, great menu and friendly service! Very happy Chao Phraya opened in the South Hills. I’m a vegetarian and all entrees can be made with tofu — their tofu is always cooked to perfection.
In addition to the amazing food and service, the restaurant is also very clean — you can see directly into the kitchen when picking up takeout.
I agree with another review stating this is the BEST Tai food in South Hills! In fact, it's better than any Tai restaurant in Oakland, which is known to have excellent international restaurants. Have had Pad Tai, Massaman Curry, Chicken Satay and I wanted more! Good sign to me! Recommend highly. Enjoy!!!
Great food and friendly service!!
I am so happy this place opened and I'm also glad it's so delicious! I can't say much about authenticity (never been to Thailand), but it tastes great, it's fresh, and presented well. My husband picked up the order and said it was clean and quite nice inside. I highly recommend it.
I spent two weeks in Thailand in 2019 and got a pretty good idea of what authentic Thai food tastes like. Chao Phraya transports me back to that trip. Everything I've ordered has reminded me of the meals I had in Thailand. I've tried a lot of Thai restaurants in the South Hills / Pittsburgh, and this is by far the best one.
Fresh vegetables and amazing flavors. Finally have a place in the south hills that’s awesome. IMO better than smiling banana leaf and noodle head.
The food is good and the staff is friendly
It was very good and I had a good time the waiters and waitresses were very nice
Excellent food. Love chosing my heat level. Pad Thai is fantastic. Love the Spring rolls and the owmers are great
Great food, fantastic atmosphere, and attentive/friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back here!
Ordered Steamed Dumplings, Fresh Spring Roll and Chicken Yellow Curry Level 5 Hot.
Great Dumplings steamed, delicate and flavorful.
Springs Rolls were perfect
Yellow Chicken Curry, spicy with depth of flavor perfect with spuds and pineapple in broth.
The best of the best 👍
I purchased Massaman curry and I was quite disappointed with the amount of onions that was in the curry. I knew that there would be onions, but what I found was way too much. My curry had about 4 pieces of chicken, carrots, a piece of potato, and a lot of onions.
The crab angel & pad see ew were out of this world!
Delicious. Ordered take out for 4 last night...pad thai, pad see ew, ginger chicken, dumplings, and lettuce wraps. Everything was amazing and the owners are so nice and friendly. You will be glad you tried it!!
Delicious! I had the lunch special Thai fried rice with Shrimp and the Thai iced tea with boba! Recommend both! Can't wait to try more options at this restaurant!
Ordered dinner here for the first time. This food is so good! Definitely recommend!
Delicious!! Second time there for Pad See Eew and it's great! Very clean and friendly service. There was definitely a need for a Thai restaurant in this neck of the woods. Don't hesitate to try...
I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food, even took Thai cooking classes. This is by far at the top of my list!!!!!!
This food is amazing and the service is just as amazing!
I eat here a few times a week!!!! I’m so excited are here!!
Best Thai food in the South Hills!
We tried the green curry with chicken, and chicken pad Thai, as well as the baby spring rolls. Everything was amazing! The portions were large, the vegetables fresh and delicious. The people behind the counter were quite friendly as well. We have already picked what we will be ordering for our next dinner. Another great perk- its BYOB
One of my Thai friends posted about this new fantastic Restaurant that opened up last week, she kept raving about it and how she's going to go back. That was enough to hook me because she drove from Moon twp to Pleasant Hills (23 miles, totalling a 46 minute drive) and plans to go back! She said it reminded her of the food her family cooks I'm Thailand!
I got the pad thai, the chicken soup, the fresh rolls, and the Thai iced tea. I wanted to get the mango sticky rice, but since they're brand spankin' new the item was not available. I was super impressed with the quality and got some pumpkin curry to go (because all curry tastes amazing a day or two later when the flavors mellow and jive). When I try a new Restaurant I try mid spicy (so 3 out of 5) and felt that i could have had the 5. I have a pretty high tolerance for spice.
This will be my staple Thai restaurant bin Pittsbugh to go to, as others have been lackluster to me!
