Great experience with Thai food. We ordered drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice with tofu. The food was delicious. There was a mistake in order in which they replaced it without any extra charges. Very comfortable dining experience with beautiful ambience.

I decided to branch out and try the Crispy Basil Duck, and wow! I was blown away by the symphony of flavors that this dish orchestrated on my taste buds, and it was all I could do to refrain from giving it a standing ovation after the fifth movement.

The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and if you're reading this wondering if it's a worthwhile place to visit... Wonder no more!

Great lunch specials...entree, and soup or spring roll. Pad Thai was very tasty, if not a bit on the sweet side. Ordered medium heat, next time i will try hot, as i would prefer a bit more heat, especially following the tom yum soup....which was excellent! So many vegetables, perfectly cooked and the broth was delicious!! tangy, hot and spicy.. perfect! Very generous portions.

Every time we come to Ramarn Thai it's always a great meal, and the service is always excellent. They have a very extensive menu and with their generous portions, it always makes for great leftovers!

If you’re looking for a really good Thai place in the Lancaster area, this restaurant will definitely meet your needs. I enjoyed the pad Thai with chicken and shrimp and we had a side of jasmine rice and peanut sauce. Not over salted, so you will need a little soy sauce. Overall warm environment and great place to eat. Will be back very soon.

Tried quite a few things here at Ramarn Thai over the years and hands down Kao Mood Tod (crispy pork) is our favorite! Crispy fried yet tender pork with a spicy sauce and rice. Super good and would highly recommend! Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle both awesome as well. 10/10

Update: they fired a bunch of people that used to work here and the service has gone down. The music changed and we used to be treated to crispy rolls before for free for the table, now they are also gone. The food is still pretty good but it's definitely not the same anymore. This is why my rating has changed.

Having lived in Thailand for many years, I know Thai curry. I ordered Panang and friend ordered red. They were exactly the same. And they were Very,Very sweet, sugar, unlike true Thai curry. Then the waiter took my money and didn’t ask about returning my change and never gave me my change! We choose Ploy Thai for authentic food and they don’t keep your change.
Okay, the good Thai places were closed and we called about the weekly lunch specials and they said that they were available. They were not. The pineapple curry with chicken was disappointing. The chicken was sparse, shredded. The Hawaiian shrimp was decent. The Only reason we gave this restaurant a second chance was because our go to place was closed. To expect 18% is beyond any reasonable expectation. There won’t be a third chance. Please do your research there is much better options close by.

Although I do enjoy some of the dishes here such as the papaya salad, the food portion is fairly small for the price that you pay. My mom ordered the Ramarn Pho, and as a Vietnamese person, this is not like Vietnamese Pho, which we thought it would be similar to. There was a smell to the pho that was very displeasing, and she could not finish the dish. We also ordered the sticky rice with mango, and for around $7 I expected more than just a small square of rice with half a mango. Additionally, there was an 18% gratuity already added onto the bill. Although we were already planning to give a 20% cash tip, this gratuity already added in surprised us. I have only seen gratuity added on the bill for large parties, but we were only a family of 3. If you're looking for authentic food at a reasonable price, there are many other options.

The dishes were overly sweet, unlike in native countries. The restaurant was understaffed, so despite wait staff's best efforts they couldn't keep up with guests inhouse versus orders for take out. A child was having an extended temper tantrum during our dinner, management inactive throughout the time.

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I got the Thai red curry with tofu and my fiancé got the drunken noddles, we shared sushi and dumplings at the appetizer. We had all our food within 20 minutes and it was my far the best tasting curry and noodle dish I’ve ever had! The waitress saw that my fiancé loved their Thai iced tea so much and gave him one for free. The service was prompt, extremely friendly and the food was reasonably priced and delicious. Definitely a new favorite!

I do my best to avoid negative reviews, but I had quite an abysmal experience. I'm not a picky eater whatsoever, and have been able to scarf down some bad food in my time. The food I was served here was gross and inedible, to the point I was worried I'd be sick if I took more than two bites. My girlfriend and I started with crispy rolls and dumplings both of which neither of us could take more than a bite of. We were both surprised but thought eh maybe it's just us. When we got our entrees (cashew chicken and pork pad Thai) we knew it was off immediately. They both smelled horrible and tasted dreadful. It was almost comical how bad it was. But our slight laughter quickly vanished. We asked the server if it'd possible to get some kind of discount or not pay for the entrees and just pay for the appetizers (neither of us had taken more than one bite of either) I also let her know we'd still leave a good tip. After talking to her manager she guilted us by saying she would have have to pay for the whole meal at cost if we weren't going to. It made for an awkward situation and I didn't wanna look like a jerk in front of my lady so I basically wasted $65. If that was even true, and she actually would have been responsible to pay, shame on management. Totally unexpected. We left and honestly lost our appetites from how weird and gross the situation played out. Total bummer.

I’m not typically one to leave a review, but I felt the need to as our experience was really strange. My boyfriend and I went to ramarn Thai with a love of Thai food, excited to try a new restaurant . We got there and our waitress (Cherry was the name on our receipt) was very sweet. We got our appetizers and the crispy rolls were crispy but the inside was total mush, we got the chive dumplings and they tasted so horrible we didn’t even eat them. We got pad Thai which smelled and tasted awful to the point where my boyfriend who eats literally anything couldn’t even eat it. I got cashew chicken and was completely bland and inedible. I let Cherry know we were happy to pay for the appetizers but we wouldn’t be eating our entree’s as we did not like them, I was as kind as I could possibly be, as it wasn’t her fault. She said she would speak to her manager. She came back and told us he had said she would have to pay for our meal if we didn’t pay (which is illegal). Of course we paid out of guilt and I’m left wondering if she swindled us with guilt or if her manager really does that to the staff. Will absolutely not be going back, looks like there’s a reason it was almost empty on a Saturday night.

Amazing Thai food! It’s always consistently fresh.

This place would be 5 star if they actually cooked the chicken or tofu with the super flavorful pad thai. Instead, when it comes out, the pad thai itself is some of the best I've ever had. I've tried it with tofu and another time with chicken and both times, the additions were completely flavorless tasting and dry forcing us to eat around them. Thinking next time I will order just the noodles or maybe try the shrimp but afraid of more of the same. The sushi was phenomenal. Ordered the paradise shrimp roll and the volcano roll. Beautiful presentation.

The husband and I really wanted Thai food and this place was perfect. The papaya salad was really fresh and delicious. The Tom Kha Kai (coconut soup ) was loaded with veggies and chicken. We ended up adding chili oil into the soup to tone down the sweetness. The vegetable tempura was a nice addition to our dinner. The Panang curry was very creamy and not overly spicy. Of course we had to get Thai tea too. Overall this place is on our list of favorite Thai restaurants in Pennsylvania.

This place is so yummy! Just received an order of chicken pad thai and it is comparable to one of the best pad thai's I've had. Although the price tag was slightly higher than other areas it was just as good. My go to thai place is closed sundays so this area was the perfect replacement when the pregnancy cravings kicked in. Highly recommend.

New to the area, we needed a neighborhood restaurant, and Ramarn Thai has been a great happenstance neighbor.

We've been mostly take-out diners, but have enjoyed the clean calm dining room even with youngsters - the chicken satay is always one child's must-have entree; the Thai eggplant and the Burmese eggplant are addictive; drunken noodles made to your preferred spice, always fresh never mushy. Papaya salad - just yum.

The staff are invariably calm, cope kindly with glitches, and always make even the smallest order seem deserving of attention to detail.

First time in there and we really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was inspiring and calm with a nice ambiance to it. Staff friendly and helpful. Tried a sushi roll I think it was called Fire Ball or something similar for an appetizer (see pic.) It was really good! Looked amazing also. For lunch we had the Pad Thai (my favorite) and my wife had the Drunken Noodles , her go to. They too were both very good. However, I have had better but it was good and we will go back. My wife really loved the sushi there. I would like to try another dish next time just to experiment a bit because I love thai flavors and the food was really fresh and flavorful. A must try!

Being relatively new to the Lancaster. PA area I'm in a learning stage as to eating at ethnic restaurants in the area. Being a longtime foodie it's always a challenge! Looking for a Thai restaurant & Google rated this place we very high. So, my son & daughter-in-law, good friend & I showed up at about 1:30pm on a cool Monday afternoon. Firstly, plenty of parking, it's at the corner of a nice strip center. The room is huge with cool & relaxing colors. Promptly seated at a nice window table by a very sweet waitress. We were immediately offered a pot of tea at no charge! Nice green tea! The menu is huge. Much more than Thai cuisine! There are dishes from Burma(Myamar), Malaysia & Japanese sushi as well! It is BYOB but there's a nice bar! For 4 people who enjoy mild to medium spicy food we had a lot to chose from. There are $12.95 lunch specials. We shared everything and started with vegetable samosas $7, vegetable tempura $9 & steamed chive dumplings $9 as appetizers. With a lot of dipping sauces these all were totally outstanding! For mains we had the crispy basil duck $23, Thai BBQ pork on skewers $17, Burmese fried rice $16 & vegetable pad Thai $16. Four super dishes, spice level to our liking, served hot with rice. My favorite was the duck! Portions were decent sized. For desert we shared the Kanum Tuey(Thai coconut pudding) $6.50. I had a delicious cold Macha Thai tea. Super fine experience! Super service! Definitely a place to visit again!

They are BYOB but there is a Wine and Spirits in the same strip so it's easy to pick something up before heading in. Used to be called U-Thai, and the food was incredible. New owners, new name, and the food isn't as good as it was. Still good, but not amazing like it used to be. Service is still great. Bring back the roast duck curry please, and make Thai hot as spicy as it should be.

This is hands down the best Thai food we've had in the area (maybe the best we've ever had). My fiancé and I dined here last Friday and we were both blown away by every single dish we had. The Tea Leaf salad was perfectly sauteed and had a nice crunch with just the right amount of spice. The Thai Duck special was super flavorful and the BBQ Pork skewers with sticky rice were juicy and tender. The tasty sushi was a feast for the eyes! One of our rolls was served on an adorably tiny wooden bridge. We will be back to bring our Thai food loving friends and family!

For the first year of so under the name RAMARN THAI (assuming new ownership) the menu seemed basically the same and recipes unchanged. I always LOVED the fireball roll as well as the drunken noodles. The last few visits the recipes changed and the quality has been poor. The flavors are weak and the trademark spice in both the previously mentioned dishes is missing. My last order of fireball roll was not even the correct item. I called to report the miss and the team member insisted they made the right item. Will not be returning most likely.

Great food, I had the veggie fried rice. My husband had the basil eggplant, he loved it, and sushi. Generous salmon on the sushi. Recommend to give it a try.

If you want amazing food then you want Ramarn Thai! The food here just tastes healthier and more delicious than any other place I have tried in the Lancaster and York areas. One of the easiest ways to make my wife happy is to bring her this food (so clearly I’m ordering this a lot). Happy wife happy life! Also, the staff here are some of the nicest and helpful people you will meet.

Oh My Word! I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant! The avocado rolls are THE BEST I have ever had! I eat more than I care to admit to anyone. My husband and children love the food as well! The food here is always fresh and never tastes too oily or overcooked. I absolutely love it! The service is outstanding as well. The owners of the restaurant are super personable, helpful, and kind. This place is a serious gem in the Lancaster county area!

The sushi, beef, ginger, vegetables and rice are delicious. There is no alcohol in the restaurant.

Food was amazing. We got a little of a lot of things and shared. The service was super friendly but a little inattentive. I didn't mind since I was catching up with an old friend, but others may not appreciate waiting as long as we did.
