Thai fare with gluten-free & vegan options, plus bubble teas, beer & wine offered in casual digs.
This was the best Thai food I have ever had. I just moved from New York and I was sad about giving up the food there.. this place was better than any other Thai food I had in New York. It might just be the best ever. Don’t forget the ice cream. If you like coconut this is crazy good.
I’ve been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. The owner is from Thailand! Which helps in every aspect of the food. Nothing is “store-bought”, and everything is homemade with her own recipes. Very authentic, high quality recipes, with generous portions. The spring rolls are no exception. You can tell they are home made when you get them; amazing. The Curries really are perfected. It’s just a matter of preference. The noodle dishes are very well done. Most dishes simply have your choice of protein. Beef, Chicken, Pork, or Seafood. Then you can choose your heat level (1-5) depending on how spicy you like it. She does a great job of controlling heat, so if you’re worried about it being too spicy just say so. If you want it close to how it’d be in Thailand. Ask for level 5! Can’t go wrong. Highly recommend the Red and Panang Curries. The Drunken Noodle and Pad Thai are both great. If you can’t decide between noodles and curry, perhaps go with the Curry Noodle. Spring rolls are a must have!
We got together with friends on a Saturday evening, and I was very impressed with the quality of the Thai Food here. The veggies were crisp and fresh tasting. We had the salad roll for an appetizer, Pad Thai, yellow curry and cashew gai.
I can guarantee we will be going back soon.
Affordable and delicious. The dining room was clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The servers were prompt in getting to us and taking our orders for drinks, then appetizers and the main meal.
Last night, we joined our g-son and his girlfriend for dinner at Tasty Thai Kitchen. It was our first time there but it won't be our last. Our waitress was spot on. The White Pad Thai was excellent, and the portions were so large that we have lunch today. Very easy to get to, straight up Willamette, and left on 29th.
The best Thai restaurant in Eugene, OR! We are visiting families from Seattle and were craving for some Thai food. We found this gem that has the best Pad thai I’ve had even in bigger cities. Their Tiger cry and Spicy catfish were awesome too. Their fried banana with coconut ice cream tastes like heaven. Highly recommend!
I got the green curry with prawns for my dad's birthday dinner and it was delicious! Service was great and prices are reasonable. I want to try everything on the menu!

Amazing food and friendly service. Portions were generous, too. We will be back often!!
Your typical bland, way overpriced Eugene Thai food, lacking in anything close to authentic Thai. At least the pad thai had cilantro in it for some flavor, but not even peanuts.
This Thai is TASTY!!!! their white sauce pad Thai is my go-to, tofu of course! If I am ever on deaths row I will request this as my last meal!!
Update: The workers are really kind in person and over the phone

Excellent Thai food, one of the better places in Eugene. They had our take out order ready 15 minutes after placing it. If you order online, you get charged a $1.75 junk convenience fee, so just call your order in to avoid that.
Lots of amazing vegan options. The Yellow Curry is soooo good. I don't prefer the pumpkin they add and request extra potatoes instead
Delicious....
The food was oily and the portions were less than generous.
thai tea was overwhelmingly sweet and the food was not seasoned like at all :( i would not go here again sorry
Best Thai food.
This restaurant is dirty gross, so we ordered our food to go instead.
My salad was literally drowned in the dressing.
Staff was fake-nice, obviously unhappy with their job.

The food is good, service is good, and the atmosphere is good. It was a calm and peaceful place. The Evil Jungle Curry is my favorite. I love the hot sauces and peppers. My beliefe is that you will never enjoy their food unless you learn how to enjoy their hot sauces, peppers 🌶 😋 and spicy dishes. I am yet to be disappointed here.
My wife and I have been searching for a decent Thai restaurant since moving to Oregon 4 years ago. We settled on on another place thinking "welp...I guess this is as good as it gets". Then we found Tasty Thai! Fantastic food, great service, friendly folks. I'm amazed by reading some of the negative reviews. Seems as if some people really have no clue what non-americanized, authentic Thai food is supposed to taste like. ;)
I ate here while on a road trip, on a recommendation from a friend. The food wasn't the worst, and if I was in some backwoods town in the south, I would have been satisfied. But this is Eugene and I expect more. I got the chicken pad thai and it was bland. In fact, the only thing I could really taste was salt.
The server was top notch and we didn't have to wait at all for a table.
I've heard good things from a few people, so I'll definitely eat here again if I get a chance. Hopefully this time was a fluke.
I ordered sesame lime chicken. The chicken was delicious. Unfortunately, the vegetables, including mushrooms and cabbage , were raw. Didn’t say that on the menu. Most people can’t digest raw mushrooms, and apparently neither can I. Ughhh. Service was under staffed and slow. Restaurant needs an update. Used to like this place. Very disappointed
Boba tea delicious
Been a customer since they opened. The food is always good and well prepared.
So delicious, and gluten-free options are clearly marked on the menu!
I came on a Friday night at 6:00 p.m
The food actually tastes really good. It's not real Thai food but it does have the Thai flavors and they too much on the menu to choose from. It's kind of like a little bit of Thai meets fresh veg. They've got the spiciness down correctly. And they do give you a very good portion. There were four servers. It took 20 minutes to have our orders taken, and we waited 40 minutes for the food. The service is sooo slow and I don't know why because they have a lot of servers. Perhaps the kitchen is slow. I don't know. The atmosphere is pretty bad. It's not decorated. I literally was going to walk out because it shouldn't have taken over an hour from the point we were seated to get our food.
So many gluten free options, and all are clearly labeled on the menu!
Food was awesome.
last year this place really impressed me. it may have been an off night, but the cream cheese rolls came cold (they’re fried and usually served hot). then the vegetables in my curry were extremely over cooked. like the zuchini was soggy. last, the service was quite slow. i’m a server myself and i was getting second hand embarrassment from the lack of care and attention. i might give it another try but tonight was off for sure
I've been here a few times and always get the cream cheese wontons. They are So delicious despite being a bit expensive, but to be fair crab rangoons are expensive everywhere.
The curry is also very delicious. The staff is nice but busy. The place is old, but comfy. A 90s Chinese restaurant vibe.
Very slow service. Waiter never checked back in with us. Food tasted off. Sent one dish back due to this. The replacement dish took over 30 minutes to arrive. Had to get it to go at that point. Felt ill when we got home. Leftovers going in the trash.
Glad I gave it a try but won't be returning. The zesty orange prawn sauce was very tasty, if you like sweet sauce . I do not recommend the raspberry Pad Thai special. I thought it sounded new and exciting, but the noodles came out pale and they tasted like chicken fat which totally crossed me out. Not pad thai at all. Aside from that, the restaurant just had a rundown, dirty feel. Even our table had greasy smudge marks all over it when we were seated.
I got one of their fried rice dishes, but there is no indication the rice was fried. No color or deep flavor achieved from a proper fry. I would describe the dish i got as steamed rice with vegetables. Bland and underwhelming dish.
Not a fan of the restaurant, but their food is quite good. (Nothing personal, I just don't like most restaurants all that much). We usually get take out. Their Evil Jungle Curry is out of this world good.
Very friendly staff and excellent food!
This place has really gone downhill since they first opened. Now it feels like there isn't anyone employed who cares anymore.
Tasty Thai is a Eugene institution. They have a wide variety of Thai and Pan-Asian dishes so you're sure to find something for everyone. The Pumpkin Curry is especially good. Wait staff are friendly and helpful. They find that perfect balance of allowing space to enjoy the meal and company while also being available. I hope to continue to enjoy Tasty Thai for another couple of decades.
Food was excellent. I got the drunken noodle, which is a dish I have ordered at dozens of other restaurants and vendors. This was one of the best. Service was a little scarce, but otherwise friendly.
It's going to take me quite some time to work my way through this menu. So far I've only had appetizers, which were delicious and plentiful. Of these, the spring rolls were phenomenal. The rice paper around them so thin as to be transparent. Brought to mind a sprouting small (but quite substantial) salad "burrito". Definitely coming back here to dig in to the rest of menu.
We love the salad rolls! Waiters are always the nicest!
Tasty Thai is a comfortable quiet restaurant, they serve large portions, and the service is great. You can take your time here and not feel rushed. It's a good place to take a date and relax for a while. The avocado curry was delicious. Raspberry Pad Thai was ok. If I order pad thai again I'll ask for more veggies and less noodles and see how it goes. The veggies are cooked and sized perfectly. Shrimp is big and fresh. They forgot the cashews but kindly brought me some to add. No big deal. I appreciate how the food is not too oily, especially the appetizers. Next time I'll try the yellow curry and ask for medium hot. That's the true test! But, so far so good, we enjoyed our dinners and will definitely be back.
Staff, food and environment all get big thumbs down. Mostly overweight white people eat here. Portion size is good, quality is not. Did not finish food or want to take it home. Icky.
Tasty Thai Kitchen is a true gem for Thai food lovers. From the inviting ambiance to the divine flavors, it's a must-visit. Friendly staff and impeccable service make it a delightful dining spot!
Thai kitchen? more like fly kitchen! Their food was the bomb. They said it would take about 17 minutes took about 4. I would highly recommend.
Was looking forward to wonderful I had experienced a year pervious but was hugely disappointed. It's okay food, kind of expensive for what you get.
The hot wings are hot.
Very fresh tasty food. Everyone so polite and kind. Love this place
I've given Tasty Thai a few tries over the years and have been disappointed everytime. Their curries are not good, they lack flavor. Place is outdated and there were flies bothering us while we ate last time.
Great food and drinks. Service was super fast too. We forgot our leftovers on our table though and I do wish they would have put them in the walk in for at least till the end of the night 😞(we called 30 mins later), but that's on us. I highly recommend.
The food was good but the staff were busy. It took an hour to receive our food.
Thai Restaurant on the South SIde of Eugene. Good Pad Thai and nice atmosphere.
I would never suggest ordering takeout here. Went to pick up a SINGLE DISH, and waited over 35 minutes. Another gentleman showed up just before me, and had obviously called in long before, and he also had to wait 35 minutes. The patrons seemed quiet enough, as they were probably priority over an order that came in long before I arrived. But pickup is absolute trash as far as wait time and staff being honest with the order of the orders. They didn't start it until long after arrival, won't consider eating at this or any of their locations.
This is one of our long time favorite places to go! I've never been disappointed! Everything is so fresh and feels good to eat! There are a variety of vegetarian and gluten free options as well as high quality meals containing meat. My heart, soul, and tummy LOVE this restaurant ❤️
Food below mediocre. The pumpkin curry with chicken overwhelmingly featured full-fat coconut milk making the consistency thick, almost sludgy. You could practically feel your arteries hardening. The flavor of the vegetables and chicken did not pop making me wonder if the dish had been prepared ahead of time and kept in a vat. I could not distinguish any flavor in the carrots or pumpkin.
Generally my husband and I love our leftovers from Thai food restaurants, but we both agreed, this was not worth keeping. We both had indigestion afterwards, not a problem when we order this dish from other Thai restaurants. Our indigestion probably stemmed from the dish's over reliance on the full-fat coconut milk. Rich does not equate flavorful.
A number of recent reviews say the food quality has been declining. I'm curious why the restaurant doesn't take notice. Newcomers to Thai restaurants may be impressed but those who have checked out the competition will not.
Server was bad, over an hour wait for food when only two tables where occupied. Food was eh not bad but not great.
Decent... I remember it being much better in the past...
Great food, excellent service. Lots of selections for Vegetarians and those on healthy diets. Also, take out food, if you don't want to sit down. Best Thai restaurant in Eugene. Two Thumbs up.
Comfortable atmosphere. Tasty food. Friendly staff.
The food was not great! And the service was sub-par. Wait time for food feom time of ordering was 50 min plus. Not impressed!!! 😠
Got the Green Goddess smoothie it was AMAZING! The Korean BBQ tri tip with the choice of jasmine rice and a Salad came with it was great food!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❤️😊💫
Love the pad thai! Huge portions.
We entered the place at 5:30pm and needed to be somewhere else at 7pm. 90 minutes for dinner we thought would be enough time... NOPE. It took the food a bit over 50 minutes to arrive at our table. 50 minutes we sat there waiting. We finally ate in a great hurry, left hungry and were late to our event. Never again. My advice to you is only go to Tasty Thai if you have all the time in the world.
So far so good. $16 soup was pricier than I was expecting, but I guess no more expensive than other places these days.
Super tasty gluten free thai food. Service varies, food is worth it.
On the scale from 1 to 10 I’m giving the customer service a solid 10! Hence the five star review
Update: super gross now. Their food is burnt. Sauces are inconsistent. Quality and presentation nosedive. 3 terrible meals in 6 months. I'm done trying this place.
Original review below:
Tasty Thai is a reliable and economical option for those that enjoy the North to South experience of Thai food. There are a wide range of dishes to try, and no matter what I decide to get, I feel like it was a yummy choice. My two year old has an adventurous pallette and loves to try everything that shows up.
Love the Curry!
I’ve been eating at Tasty Thai for years!! I always dine in, because the atmosphere is great & the staff is wonderful!! Today, I brought my Dad in with me for dinner, it was absolutely delicious, & the cocktails were made to perfection as well!! Fast, efficient, & friendly service as usual!! I’ve had so many family dinners at this beautiful restaurant, my boyfriend & I had our first date here!! It never disappoints! Large portions, fresh ingredients, & an inviting place to spend time with your favorite people!! Great options for Vegetarians & Vegans too!! 5 Stars!! :)
Service was good but food was bland and definitely average.
Tasty Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in town. I have a gluten allergy, and their menu is almost entirely gluten free. Everything is labeled for allergies and dietary preferences on the menu. Even if I didn't have an allergy I would love this place. The food is phenomenal.
We've used the take-out phone orders during Covid here and have always had good food served hot and tasty. They have a wide variety of dishes at a resonable price.
Tasty Thai is by far the tastiest Thai food in Eugene. They are very respectful of dietary alterations. I order my dish vegan and I feel confident that they are following my wishes. I love their salad rolls and Thai noodle soup. Yum! Honestly, I have always been pleased with my food.
Amazing food. And ever better customer service. Super helpful and kind. The boba teas are amazing. My favorite is either taro or pineapple and coconut.
They have messed up my order so many times it’s just comical. I love their food so much, but their staff are so ridiculously awful it’s also just hilarious at this point. Maybe they’re just treated terribly by management, but beware their wrath when ordering!
My favorite Thai food in Eugene. It's always hard to pick what to get, but I've never been disappointed. Cream cheese rolls and green curry are my favorite. Pad thai and white pad thai are great too.
Good food and reasonable lyrics priced
The food was amazing (I'm a spice nut and our server made sure it was spicey enough for me) and our server was fabulous. Hands down my favorite place I've eaten in eugene!! Everywhere else I've gone the food was unseasoned and tasteless Caucasian people food and the service at tasty Thai was the friendliest!
Very good food. Great gluten free options. A little pricey but very big portions, consider sharing.
Bad experience. While sick at home, I ordered a chicken noodle bowl. They sent me few slices of chicken, the fine rice noodle and some sort of salad. Just to learn after I called and my husband returned that the chicken noodle doesnt come with broth! Shame on the girl who took the order but she was quick to ask for a tip. What a dissapointment for 16 dollars and seriously, it did not taste good!
Love this place, another first time for me. Food was excellent. Enjoyed dinner with my grandson and daughter. I will come back again soon.
Amazing coconut shrimp, plpumkin curry, and phad Thai.. Make sure to ask for extra peanut sauce! My favorite Thai food in Eugene!!
I remember this restaurant as having delicious food, and went back because it's my friend's favorite place. But since the past few years, something's changed for the worse. The dishes weren't made well, the spicy food my friend ordered was barely noticeable in flavor, the kitchen skimped a lot on protein in all of our dishes, and the vegetables were barely cooked in mine. It was almost like they found a chef with no experience of what Thai food is supposed to taste like and forced him to make dinners without any recipes. Plus it was so much more expensive! The most I've ever paid at any Thai restaurant for the same items. Not planning on going back.
The food here is consistently good, but the service is pretty crummy. I've found my order was incorrect or incomplete more than once, and often end up waiting for 20 extra minutes for the food after the time it was supposed to be ready. Tonight we got home to find no rice with the meal and the iced tea had no ice. It's disappointing, but I'd hate to see how much longer I'd need to wait to have something corrected.
Best pad see ew I've ever had. Fast friendly service. Worth every penny.
Off the hook good eats. Local fav.
My all time favorite restaurant in Eugene!!!!
The green papaya salad transported me back to Thailand by how perfectly spiced, crunchy and delectable it was. Also, the staff here is super friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend!
One of our favorite spots.
We have eaten at Tasty Thai Kitch for years and it is our favorite.
The service was great and the restaurant was clean. Our wonton soup was full of flavor and the shrimp Pad t I got was loaded with shrimp. A lot of places serve you noodles with 1 or 2 shrimp, not tasty thai. Our waitress even ran out to my vehicle because forgot our to-go box at the table.
Good portions. Quick service
Food was delicious as always. Pad Thai and chicken curry. Great service. Everyone was wearing masks as well 😊
Out of six salad rolls, I found one small leaf of basil. The others were so bland that, after taking them apart looking for basil and finding none, I threw four away. The Tom Yum soup also had heat but very little to none of the expected flavors of lime, galangal, lemon grass or cilantro. Very disappointing.
Pretty much the only Thai place I've ever been to that doesn't know how to add spice to food. Both times I've asked for a 5*, clarified 'super hot' and got ultra-mild. It's sad. If you hate spice the food is fine.
Terrible customer service, when I told them they had charged me for a food item that I never got they argued with me and refused to make my order whole and give me what I paid for even though it was a side of peanut sauce. Like I’m gonna steal a $1 side of sauce. Won’t be coming here again and if you like good service with the food you order I would suggest you try another restaurant. This ain’t the one!
My favorite This place in town!
We're really lucky to have such a great neighborhood Thai restaurant that is consistently tasty and affordable.
i was mostly impressed with this place...the food was very good...they have a kind if tea i have never had (Chrysanthemum tea)
Mostly, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant and that’s always been somewhat important to me but during the pandemic it’s even more important to me
However, it was pretty frustrating that the servers were not wearing masks… So I’m assuming the kitchen is not wearing masks
I think anyone working in Food right now should be wearing masks and also sanitizing their hands every time they touch anything
Especially peoples credit cards or cups or anything customers have touched they should sanitize your hands after that and I don’t think they did that
So delicious! Great, friendly service. We'll definitely be back!
Delicious. One of the better Thai restaurants in town. The curry is balanced, sticky rice is a fave and always great drinks available...and they deliver too...whaaaat?!
Lovely place and superb service
Good food as I'd always remembered.
Awesome Staff!
Delicious dishes!
I was disappointed it was not as good as it used to be
Food is always delicious and they have more unusual options, and scrumptious specials. Come for the food, but keep returning for the exceptional customer care! The service is awesome even if you're just there for take-out.
Good service, good food
It's shame I didn't take any pics of their food last time. But their food is great. They've also got kind and friendly staff. Kitchen staff is also very reasonable. I asked bigger plate for Pad Thai and got really big one. Very satisfying experience..
Excellent food and service
Consistently delicious food! Our favorites are the Tom kha soup and drunken noodles. FYI they deliver for a few dollars extra.
I used to LOVE coming here when I lived in Eugene. I came back and ordered their spicy eggplant and at $5 more expensive than it was last year, I got half the portion.
Good food
This place has good Thai food (not the best in town, but reliably good). We order take out here often.
I travelled through South Asia for a year, there were good times, eye opening, scary and life changing times. That was about 13yrs ago and the only restaurant that can remind me of those tales of good food and high adventure is this place. The price, the atmosphere, the service is the cheapest way anyone in Eugene will visit Vietnam
Always fresh and hot… 6 stars
Fancy place. Fancy people. Good bubble tea.
Consistently delicious food, great service, and fast delivery. One of my favourite place to eat in Eugene!
The best peanut curry I have ever had.
What a great place. Very friendly staff, and delicious food!
Good selection of Thai food. Staff was friendly and service was quick.
Super good food and amazing service. They were incredible busy and they did such an amazing job at managing it. I really appreciate all of their hard work and will come again.
Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!
Food is good. Website menue pricing in not accurate. Expect 20% higher pricing than advertised.
Such good Thai food!
Definitely a favorite place to go when in Eugene.
Delicious food, fair prices, fast and friendly service.
Definitely recommend!
Blended boba teas !!!
Tasty Thai is always on point, visited 10+ times and the food is always great.
Fantastic food!!! All five of us ordered different things and they were all delicious!! The bubble tea was bomb! The portions were HUGE!
My mother was craving some thai hot pot. So we came here. Beautiful artwork, Friendly staff, and our waitress was quick and made my girls feel comfortable. Left full, and would definitely come back.
This was the first time I ever ate thai food, so my family helped me pick some out but I tried everything that was ordered and I fell in love with thai food! I loved EVERYTHING! This place has the best, friendliest staff and their food is AMAZING!! Im definitely making this a must stop place to eat every time I'm close. Loved it!!
The best yellow curry! Delicious!
