Mellow standby with traditional Thai noodles, stir-fries & curries in warm surroundings.
The food is good, but not spectacular. The prices are a little high for what you get. Have been here a couple times and the service is just ok. It’s a small restaurant in a strange spot so it’s not the easiest to get to and hard to just stumble upon, you really need to be looking. The parking is also a challenge. For the money these days it’s just not that impressive, but I would say give it a try and see for yourself, the food is pretty good.
I went here after a memorial service for an old friend of mine. Felt like something noodles after visiting my Parents and Grandparents Grave sites on this Memorial Day weekend. It is an old converted Pizza Hut sit down Restaurant it was busy with customers and smelled delicious when I opened the door. The interior is clean and orderly and the staff were busily cleaning and attending to their guests. I was immediately seated and asked about drinks. The menus are very larger physically and option wise. I love a lot of different Thai dishes but choose the Pad Thai meal with Chicken and shrimp and extra peanut sauce. The other customers appeared to be enjoying themselves. My food was delivered promptly and was steaming hot. The sauce, was delicious. The noodles and chicken were fresh and hot. The peanuts were fresh and crunchy. I did have a problem with the shrimp… they were hard, chewy, rubbery, overcooked, fresh shrimp do not turn out this way. Everything else about my meal was delicious. My waitress came up for a customary ask about how I liked the food so I informed her about the shrimp. Anyway they bent over backwards to make it right and instead of just cooking me a few fresh shrimp they cooked me an entire meal placed in separate to go containers in a bag to go home with me. I had separated out the shrimp and just eaten the remaining portion and put some of it in a too go container. So now I have more delicious Pad Thai than I know what to do with. I will try to freeze some of it I guess. But I wouldn’t hesitate to return here. Just ask about the freshness of the shrimp 😃 or if it’s been overcooked.
Your GPS will make the location of Noodle House easier to find. Slow down on your approach or you may miss the drive way entrance. Only about 5-7 minutes off the I5.
Local favorite for Thai and Asian foods. Ample portions and Daily Specials on board adjacent to Front Door. Large menu and reasonable prices
One special Phad Thai with deep fried soft shell crab. The rice noodle was perfectly cooked with a soft chewy texture and not mushy as its common these days.
Another plus . . . The Soft Shell Crab was cut up before fried which made the pieces easier to eat.
The Red Curry Chicken Lunch special served with 2 scoops of rice and a small salad or a daily soup. Curry had good spicy flavor with Basil.
I have been to all the Thai restaurants the willamette valley and this restaurant hands down is the best place! Everything I try exceeds my expectations and is always very fresh. The price is perfect and the staff are always friendly. I really like that all the sauces I like are on the table. I have been a regular now for a few months. The last time I went I had the drunken noodles with pineapple added and Chinese broccoli. I have too many favorites to list. I recently found out my brother who lives in another state now tried this place opening day and came back 5 days in a row and is also his favorite! I am very thankful for a place like this in Albany. If I moved I would still come back. This is my go to place for comfort Thai food that never disappoints! Thank you house of noodle for your high quality food that also is healthy and delicious. The presentation is always great as well. Too many compliments to list ! I’ve never left a review before either, but I’m very thankful for such a wonderful place . Thank you !
I don’t normally do reviews but I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered take out and expected some very delicious food for the price. The chicken was tough and the sweet and sour didn’t have much sauce at all. Not what I expected at all. Will not order there again.
Ive wanted to eat here for a long while and was excited to always see a crowd here when passing by.
Service was good and quick. The shrimp fried rice smelled so overpowering it effected the entire meal. Smelled terrible. My nutty chicken had an off smell also but was over powered still by the shrimp my husband had on his rice. He ate it though.
We may come back and try another option as they had several.
You can get all kinds of noodles prepared any way you want. I had chicken teriyaki noodles and they were great. My colleague ate some super spicy stuff that made his face turn red.
I have never eaten anything worse in my life. I ordered Tom Yum soup. It was water with tomatoes. I don't know how you can feed people like that.
I eat here and I enjoy the food very much. I also get to do work in a lot of commercial kitchens as a repair technician, and this is definitely one of the cleaner kitchens.
Gluten free options and helpful staff. Great Tom Yum and fried rice dishes!
This place has amazing food. Always has, I live out of town and usually if/when we come I'll purchase 2 dinners because I want lots of leftovers. So yummy
I love the pineapple fried rice, yellow curry, and coconut rice. I always order to go and love that they deliver. good smoothies too.
Got Pickup. Very good!!! Very spicy for white people
My son and I had the pad that and we haven't left the bathroom since... Not happy!!!

Lots of staff. Nice flow in the kitchen. Very very good pad se ewe and equally delicious laht na. I don't know how to spell those things but I sure know how to eat them. Highly recommend this Thai.
I was seated shortly after arriving and had my order taken a few minutes later, unfortunately I sat there for almost 30 minutes and did not receive my soup or meal. I watched as multiple tables that arrived after I did receive their appetizers and meals which prompted me to leave. Sad, as the food looked and smelled good, and I was very hungry.
Omg should have been coming here all along
I don’t normally do reviews but I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered take out and expected some very delicious food for the price. The chicken was tough and the sweet and sour didn’t have much sauce at all. Not what I expected at all. Will not order there again.
Watermelon smoothie was refreshing.
Nothing compares. Love everything about this place. Food is always hot and delicious.
Food was delicious, ambience was great. Service and the meal prep was very timely. Definitely recommend it.
Food was excellent. Service was somewhat lackluster, but the server was friendly and helpful when they did swing by the table. All-in-all, definitely recommend!
Ive wanted to eat here for a long while and was excited to always see a crowd here when passing by.

We may come back and try another option as they had several.
Delicious meal. We had spring rolls, spicy vegetables, and combination fried rice. We will definitely go back when we are in the area again.
Had the Fried Rice Combination. Dee- Lish!! Perfect.
Need to label menu items if they are vegan or can be made vegan. Oyster sauce is not vegan!
We just ordered $133.00 worth of meals from this place and it was awful. Noodles were greasy, rice was not cooked all the way. The food here is terrible and will never order from them again!! Staff was nicer then the last time we came which has been a few years. Thought we would give it try. Very disappointing!
Yummy, fresh, quality Thai dishes. Nice open atmosphere with outdoor seating available
Husband got a horrible food poisoning after getting the drunken noodle with beef here last night. Never coming back again and will stear others away as well
Decent food. Tasty flavor. Friendly wait staff.
They indicate they close at 3pm, but won’t allow you to order and eat if you arrive at 2:30pm. The waitress are all rude and forgetful what you order. The food is great, but the service is horrible!
It's a nice, clean restaurant, with a large menu. It's a little pricey, but great food!!
Delicious! I got the wonton soup and it was super satisfying! Full of beautiful veggies, flavor broth, and juicy wontons! Service was also very friendly, I'm sure I'll be back!
I love good Thai food and hadn’t had a great Thai meal in a while. House of Noodle was a delicious lunch and a joy to find a good local spot for a good curry, stir fry or noodle dish. Customer service was great. Dinner hour was busy and a little crowded but lunch was calmer.
Decor was festive but a little visually “busy”.
The quality of Thai food is top-notch.

The food was delicious.
Several years ago a friend offered to buy me lunch and House of Noodle was the destination. Since then my 6 person family has dined there too many times to count & we look forward to it again and again. The Hibachi Shrimp dish makes me want to sing Country Road while it is roasting my face off and is by far my favorite dish. Take me home House of Noodle! Until we meet again...
I had the spicy shrimp salad. I had medium spice and it was perfect. It was a strange sensation to have a spicy salad but it was good. I liked the subtle basil in the salad. I feel like there could have been a little more variety of veggies and could have been a little bigger. But I was pleased.
Excellent menu with pictures and a great server to help!
Had spicy drunken noodles, delicious😋
Fantastic food, but the meat add ons are quite skimpy, so I would recommend not getting any.
Always amazing food
The food here was fantastic - fresh quality ingredients, tons of choice, and nice serving size. Will definitely go again and recommend it!!
I recommend it is a very good place. and the food is delicious 😋
I'm never disappointed. I almost always get the drunken noodles with a Thai tea. However, I had their curry and have been hooked on it ever since. Great food, service, and atmosphere.
Spouse has celiac, and this has been one of our few go-to Albany restaurants for years. Since they remodeled a couple of years ago, we have noticed a drastic decline in food. They eliminated our favorite pumpkin curry last year. The silver thread noodles and drunken noodles were a favorite. They have been so salty and mushy the last 4 times we've ordered we are sadly choosing to look for a new Thai restaurant. Also, the atmosphere since they removed the "cubby-walls" is so noisy during peak hours you can't carry on a conversation over the table.
Top notch! Try Drunken Noodles! The Nutty Chicken is FANTASTIC! But my new favorite is the Curry. 🍛 So make sure to give all tempting plates a go. Does not disappoint. GF friendly too! ❤️
I've been going to this restaurant for almost 10 years. Tonight I ordered the drunken noodle and the noodles are so mushy they feel like paste in my mouth. What's more is they didn't ask about a preferred level of spice. I'd let it ride but this is not the first time this dish has been sub par. Super disappointing!
The food was delicious. Huge portions. We had a good amount of leftovers to take home . Was friendly. Slightly priced high but definitely worth it. I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
I haven't been to this location since it was "Pizza Hut". It has been remodeled and taken care of nicely. Regardless, had a delicious lunch consisting of soup then Pad Thai. The service was good; the restaurant filled up quickly for lunch. I was happy with the flavor, the portions, and the 1975 plates :)
Unfortunately after returning to work, I got sick immediately. Approximately 2 hours later, I got sick again. My food was NOT spicy, but it burned my guts up just a bit. That's too bad.
Nice hot soup on a cold day. Great service too.
Our top choice for Thai cuisine in Albany! The service and food consistently exceed expectations. A word of advice: if you're planning on dining in, arrive early. This gem is a local favorite for lunch and tables fill up quickly.
Favorite Thai food in the area.
First time here ..food was good...not great, but good. Taste was there, but veggies were undercooked in the curry and soup came out after the entree. Service was poor, but it wasn't the servers fault...she was serving the entire restaurant on her own and doing the best she could. I'd probably opt for a different place next time I'm craving Thai.
Update: Tried them again a few times now and service is back to where it was in the past, before it went downhill. Quality of food is back to being great. Friendly staff and timely service.
Previous: Service has gone down hill recently. Multiple Togo orders we received the wrong food. The last order, not only were we were given the wrong food, the food was so poor tasting it was inedible. It appeared to be someone else's special order. Normally their food is good, but this order was horrible. We called house of noodle and we were told by staff they would refund part of the order but they did not. Tired of not getting what I ordered and I'm appalled that the staff lied about refunding the portion of the order they messed up.
Pretty good food, had the roasted duck fried rice, spices at your table which I like, staff is on top of things there, lots to try... Waitresses pretty damn hot there 👍
I love Thai Food and this place is the best period!! I drive up from Eugene to eat here.
The greatest
I have never been disappointed with a meal here. No bar drinks here though. Just beer, wine, and sake.
Didn't care for the pad tie but everyone else in my group really liked their dinners.
I have had ordered food to go as well as ate there multiple times and got something different everytime. I have yet to have anything I did not enjoy.
Food was excellent. Service was good. I tried saki for the first time and really liked it. I received drinks and food quickly after I placed my order. I highly recommend and I will definitely go there again many times
My husband and I went to eat here. And they overcooked the chicken really bad On his dish And the shrimp on my dish was way overcooked as well. It tastes like rubber and I am a retired chef Who knows exactly how meats should be cooked. They didn't even compensate us or give us a discount on our meal. We will never go back there again. This was our 1st experience in this establishment.
Very fresh ingredients, and more vegetables than other thai restaurants. We get a favorite(drunken noodle) and a new item every time. Great dine in and take out.
A bit of disappointment. I always loved this place, but since Covid the quality of the food has gone downhill. The Coconut Soup was diluted as was the peanut sauce, which was watery. For Albany, this is an expensive restaurant, so they need to get back to the standards they had pre Covid.
The food is amazing. They are able to easily accommodate my gluten free wife and my vegetarian coworker, as just about anything can be made GF or vegetarian. The servers are all very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is nice and inviting.
Your GPS will make the location of Noodle House easier to find. Slow down on your approach or you may miss the drive way entrance. Only about 5-7 minutes off the I5.

I absolutely love their Panang and Combination Rice! Great local business.
Food and service were excellent highly recommend the tea
Fantastic Thai food with big portions and a great drinks section.
My favorite Thai place in the area. Delicious every time.
Amazing fresh and delicious Thai food. Meat options and plenty vegetarian options as well. They have wine, beer and saki.
Great food
I came up to Lebanon to visit a friend and found this gem of a place in Albany. Asked the waitress for recommendations and had the drunken noodles, they were amazing! We found our new favorite place!
Some of the best Chinese food around.
We arrived just before noon which was a good thing! Parking is iffy during busy times. It took a little bit to get our orders taken. However, the food came quickly, hot and delicious! I had a lunch portion and only ate half of the full plate making the $15-$20 lunch much more affordable.
We came here after a Taekwondo tournament and they quickly and nicely accepted and accommodated up to 40 of us with no notice. Service was attentive and quick. Food was very tasty and came out quickly as well. They were even more than happy to split the check even though families were in different areas of the restaurant. We're definitely coming back next year! Thank you!
Delicious food, friendly staff great with kids!
Just getting into the restaurant's parking lot can be a little confusing but well worth the effort. The food was really good and came out pretty quick, too.
Best food around. Amazing dishes
Wasn't good service was bad gave me the wrong food told me it was what I ordered it wasn't what I ordered not impressed second time of going there I'll pass overpriced
The place looked great, the food was mid, and they had a huge ant problem.
Love the food and service here. The Spicy Ginger and Mushroom with Shrimp. Amazing!
It’s absolutely ridiculous that they don’t seat people 30 min before close, they should post that somewhere, not just have a rude employee tell you after you walk in
Unique takes on Thai standards along with bold alternatives for everyone. This spot is a real treasure.
For a noodle restaurant they made the worst noodles I've ever had, way overpriced, bland and portion was ridiculously small but that's ok I took 2 bites and threw it in the trash, i don't recommend at all you couldn't pay me to eat that garbage again
Great menu. Very tasty food.
So soooo gooood!!!
Excellent place to eat!!
House of noodle is one of our go-to places to eat! I have never been disappointed with something I have ordered there.
Lunch was good, I wish they could go lighter on the sauce.
Big menus!
Not good
The food was great… Servers were not as nice
Very good Thai. Inside has been remodeled and is nicer than it looks from the outside.
Wife just wanted to get Thai tea. Thumb up
Coconut soup was amazing and the ribs were like a savory dessert!
The only place in this area which has true, flavorful Asian cuisine; over the years, we've ordered food here on a regular basis... I'd say we've had over a hundred meals here, and not once, not once, was there ever a problem with the order, or the meal itself. That's an incredible track-record. Highly recommended.
Loud atmosphere and challenging to have a conversation. Servers are poorly trained.
Probably the best Thai food in Albany. There are a few other options but House of Noodle has been the most consistent.
Great
Bbq plate was bomb, Thai iced tea was really good, my shrimp fried rice was very very bland, and the rice was crunchy on the outside and mushy on the inside. Mango sticky rice was ok.
I love the Tom Kha soup. I get it with a side of rice to mix together. I wish carrots and potatoes were part of this soup. The only thing that really disappoints me is that the past 4 times I have added carrots and potatoes it is a $1 for each add on and I get 1 small slice of carrot and one quarter of potato
Great food and updated menu, got to eat outside which was cozy and fun. Definitely worth the visit! My daughter asked that the fish be returned to the fish tank, she misses them.
Service when present was not as good as when this restaurant was under previous management.
I had the Prik King and I giggled because I have the mind of a teenage child. Awesome dish as are the shrimp Pad Thai and chicken yellow curry. Moderately priced and the acoustics are horrible so perfect for an intimate conversation.
Food was great!
Service was mediocre.
POS/Billing system is terrible.
We had a great lunch at the House of Noodle. Wonderful service, friendly waitress.
Food tastes pretty good! They seem to skimp on rice/noodle sides, especially when you get multiple things.
The food is really great, my favorites are the yellow curry and drunken noodles!
Modern Thai restaurant. Friendly staffs.
I came in 30 minutes before close after my car broke down. I was hoping I could order take out while my tow truck came. I have never had more rude service in my life. Everyone in here acted like I and another lady who came in a little bit after me were such an inconvenience. I understand not wanting to work that close to closing time but then tell customers the kitchen is closed and ask them to go somewhere else. To top it all off the food was expensive and the worst Thai I have had.
Great quality Thai food
I have been to all the Thai restaurants the willamette valley and this restaurant hands down is the best place! Everything I try exceeds my expectations and is always very fresh. The price is perfect and the staff are always friendly. I really like that all the sauces I like are on the table. I have been a regular now for a few months. Thank you !
The Thai boat noodle soup is my go to when I'm fighting a cold. It's a delicious brown broth that has a nice level of slice (I go 3 stars), loaded up with noodles, meatballs and sliced beef. Delicious, wholesome, and cleans my sinuses right out.
The other good is good too, and they deliver. Lunch specials include a dude salad our soup of the day.
Never been there before, why not?! Food was excellent, good service, fair price. What more would you want? Certainly I will be back!
Got the west side wontons and pad Thai. Wontons we’re very over cooked and dry and also absolutely cold like they had been sitting out for hours, also somehow soggy??I used to love their pad Thai but recently I guess they changed noodles?? These are not regular “pad Thai noodles” as described on their website, not even glass noodles typically used for pad Thai. The pad thai was ok and at least semi warm. Chicken was also extremely dry and over cooked. Honestly not worth the money I just spent for only me to have a dinner where I didn’t cook.
Love the food! Their Chicken Noodle with extra peanut sauce!! ❤️. Also Combination Rice!! ❤️
This is not ok. We have been here before and it was good. Me and my mom wanted to get take out, I got pork fried rice and we got my dad prik king. It's all good until we get home, I want to take out and eat some. It's a very small portion to what it would be on a plate, for $12.79 for both meals it was an estimated 12 oz. I understand that in the fine print there would a salad but its misleading because it didn't show any side salad online. (In pictures) I didn't order a salad. This is not enough for meal, of the meal I order. I am very sadden for what a rip off this is, it is shocking. :/
Good thing it's at least yummy
This place was not very clean at all. We had to get cups and silverware two different times because they were dirty both times and had floaties in the cups. Our two pictures of water we're sitting so long there was dust and hair floating on top.
One of the best restaurants in Albany.
Drunken noodle is fantastic. Good service and tasty food.
Fantastic food. Excellent quality. Great service. Tiny location. Weird parking.
Good for the area, average for the style of food
Love this place. The menu to small aka limited to entrées.
However the serving are not SMALL 😅🤣😂🤣😂
GREAT FOOD
Unique dining and fast service.
Great food really polite server. Quick
Without a doubt one of the best and most consistent restaurants in all of the Albany area *French (Thai) kiss*
Eat at HOUSE OF NOODLE
Great food didn't know Albany had thai this good if you're in Albany looking for Thai food eat here.
This place is kinda mediocre and overpriced to be honest. Might be ok if it was the only Thai restaurant in town, but it's not.
Very nice restaurant that is very clean. Lots of tables for seating and the food is excellent. Portions are very good and the staff was very quick to seat and serve. This is a restaurant that should be recommended and visited. 5 Stars given because I would recommend a lunch or dinner here.
I didn't really care for the food
A local took us here while conducting some buisness. The resturant was clean, and not too busy. The food was fine, but not extrodianirly amazing but not bad by any means. It met all expectations for a quick lunch. Drove 3 hours aftwerwards with no ill effects, so that was a real plus. Service was good. I'd go back given the chance.
Their spicy drunken noodles and dynamite wings are to die for.
Delicious food, very filling , great staff and clean. Leftovers taste great for breakfast.
The food was good, but calling in orders here is the worst out of any restaurant I've ever seen. The woman taking my order and I could barely hear each other, and she got my name wrong as a result even though I corrected her. When I came in I was greeted with a derpy stare by one of the staff instead of being greeted like you would in any other restaurant ever. He didn't say anything to me, I had to tell him what I came for. Didn't get any napkins or a fork either, and I had to wait almost twice as long as they said I would. Good food but generally annoying service.
It was expensive but was delicious😋.
The food was okay! It seemed to lack flavor. In the words of Jim Carrey "I've had better!".
What dropped the score for me though was that each table had a TV above it. And each TV had its own stream of video. While several tv's had nice serene content, mountains, beaches and plants, mine streamed the actions of reptiles, forrest creatures and bugs....not something that I wanted to see while eating.
Excellent food. Service a little slow, but it was also busy. Great flavors and will be back.
Neither quality nor portions justify price
Best food ever, always. Worst service ever, always. We continue to go for the excellent food, but geez, I sure wish the wait staff could figure it out.
Phenomenal Thai food and always wonderful service. Our favorite casual date night spot in Albany.
