I found the place to be cozy with a good atmosphere for either lunch or dinner. The food itself was good, better for lunch in my opinion, and not that expensive.

I really wanted to be able to give five stars. I have loved Thai cuisine since 1969. Some of my first Thai meals in Bangkok were cooked on a hibachi on the back of a bicycle. My favorite is Panang Curry with pork. That dish served here was disappointing. The pork was overcooked and dry. Everything else, including the service, was excellent.

I had an amazing meal at Panang Thai Restaurant. I ordered the Pad Thai Noodle and Thai iced tea, and everything was delicious. The Pad Thai was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the Thai iced tea was refreshing and complemented the meal well. Highly recommend this place for authentic Thai cuisine!

Panang is one of my favorite places to eat! The pineapple fried rice is my all time favorite thing to get, it’s delicious! I usually get it with just shrimp. Everyone loved the food here and we will definitely be back.

I got the pad kra pao, which was like crispy pork belly with green beans, basil, and peppers in a sweet soy sauce, accompanied by rice topped with an egg, and a little bowl of vegetable broth. It was very tasty and a nice variety of textures. They initially brought the wrong dish that was supposed to be for the table next door which I thought was pretty funny.

Pad Thai reminded me of a street vendor in Bangkok. She is not with us anymore. I have never had Pad Thai that ever came close to hers. This was the bomb!

This place is consistently good. I have been going for 7 years. I love all the dishes I have tried, but my favorite is their Green Curry and Tom Yum Chicken Soup. The Thai tea is better than any local tea place I have been. Oh, and I love the mango sticky rice. So good!

I tried the Sr 2 for the first time. It was absolutely delicious. The waiter was very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for and I will recommend this restaurant to my friends.

We ordered Pad Thai chicken and shrimp, it was not good. Not much sauce in there and the chicken tasted so plain. We did not enjoy it at all. The Basil noodles(Pad kee Mau) was a better choice. My husband enjoyed those. They need to add more sauce to their noodle dishes. Would be more tastier! Shrimp was a little over cooked. Rubbery texture. The customer service was good 👍 2/5 overall. Improve your dishes a little.

I have been here a few times now, typically for the lunch combo, and it has been excellent each time. This place turned me on to panang curry and I haven't looked back. I will say this last time I was a little annoyed that they brought the bill out shortly have the food came out.

Fantastic service, incredible food, and outstanding professionalism and customer service. When an issue arose on a doordash pick up order the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I also appreciate the vegetarian options available. Would recommend to anyone!

Came in two weeks ago, as we happened to be nearby. Overall a good experience, although I asked for my Pad See Ew to be at a 4 spicy, and it had absolutely zero heat. Disappointed, I pointed it out to my husband who realized they never even asked for a spice level for his. He got one of the lunch specials where you have to select from a bunch of different items, and he forgot to specify a spice level. None of our food had any spice besides the tiny bit of generic heat of the green curry. I can't say how they would have reacted, as we didn't bring it up- the food was still good as is, and I didn't want them to trash my perfectly fine meal just to remake it with spice. All I can fault them for is forgetting it in my dish, and not asking about my husband's. Overall it was still a tasty meal, but I would make sure they got my specified spiciness level in the future.

The food was a little bland. The garlic stirfry with beef was Super tough and chewy. The appetizer was the squid which they never brought out to me. They were going to charge me for. I had to tell them to take it off. They were very confused on what was going on.
After they talked amongst themselves, they figured out they never brought me my appetizer. I was hoping for a good Thai restaurant in the metro.

My boyfriend took me here today and it was really good. He got a curry dish and I got chicken pad thai. We got to choose our heat level for our entrees. Quiet atmosphere, which was nice. We will definitely return.

Roach in food and a few on walls.

A few months ago my mother got a roach in her green lunch menu curry.
Luckily they didn't have us pay for the meal, although she had unfortunately already eaten from it before she noticed. We were told they were going to take care of it.

So we hoped for the best and went today once more.
We saw two roaches, one above the tv and the other on the wall. We silently let the waiter know to which she responded "oh, do you have a problem with them?" before simply offering to change our seat and despite her likely not meaning to sound rude it was definitely not the response we expected.

Please go at your discretion.
Hoping they at least take it seriously through reviews and take time to fumigate or something because the food is very good :(

Times, food is great but service is absolutely not. The people are rude and quite frankly don’t seem to care. Our waiter after telling us they couldn’t make a dish little to no spicy as he was walking away goes “ thats how it works.” His coworkers after he complained about us to them, then came and continued to service us with attitudes. Awful experience and will definitely NOT be dining in again.

Pretty darn good. I loved the curry bowl named after the restaurant panang. Wasn't too spicy, and the calamari was good also. They automatically charge 19 percent for a party of 7 or more, which was the only negative for me, especially when 2 of the 7 were children and did not order anything. If everyone ate, I would understand. I will still return, only with fewer people!

Been going to the original Panang for almost 20 years. The last few years the food has fallen off. It was once the best Thai in the city but there are lots of better places now.

The food is good. The people are awful and rude. One of the male employees just sat on his phone in the dining area and when I had a waitress help me with the spice level of the food she told me "For next time". THE WHOLE REASON I ASK IS FOR YOU TO FIX IT NOW. At this point I had not even touched my food so I asked to pay for the stuff I ate so I could leave. They denied me and made me pay for all the food I ordered. Don't ever go to this restaurant and don't go to any other chain because they suck at customer service as well.

Lots of food. Always have to get a takeout box. Daily specials are a great bargain with 4 choices. Servers are professional . Try to arrive before 11:30 for lunch. Very popular place for lunch so it can get crowded. Good food.

Wow! We are so happy to find this restaurant! It is the best Thai food! Everything was so fresh and delicious! I had a few special dietary restrictions I requested and they followed the requests perfectly! I highly recommend them for your next Thai dining experience!

I came in for a late lunch on a Friday.
The service was prompt and courteous, the dining area was clean and pleasantly decorated.

I ordered the Jumbo Garlic Shimp with white rice. It was excellent. There were plenty of shrimp, onions, and baby corn. The bell peppers and snow peas were nicely crisp, all in a light tasty sauce. I would have liked a few more mushrooms, but that's a personal preference.
I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Also, the bathroom was clean and had decent TP.

The coconut curry is excellent. Huge portions, savory and delicious. If the main store is packed come next doors to Thai Street East and get the same menu and enjoy the comfort.

I love panang. I don't know if I have a fav dish because I love them all so much and tend to rotate them around. These are just a few that I order: yum woon sen, red curry, tom kah, tom yum, pad kee mao, som tum, pineapple fried rice with crab, pineapple seafood, khai soi.

We began eating here about 4 years ago, and we hadn't been here to eat in about 2 years. On our last visit, we were reminded of why we loved coming here. I always order their chicken Pad Thai, and my man always gets their Siam Fried Rice with beef. The dishes are generous in size and full of great flavor.

Ok I took my mother and my sister to this establishment and we had an excellent meal only thing was I got water and I got charged for each refill that is my only complaint other than that everything else was perfect.

Food is great and portions are very much on value. Called in an order for lunch which I know is busy, but was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes. It was about 30. Would have been okay with the order being 30 minutes, I just wish they would have told us that before hand. Staff is attentive to eat in customers but ignores all the to go customers. Had this same experience last year and was hoping to give them another shot, because I like the food, but the service makes me not want to come back.

I got food poisoning from this place two nights ago.

I had the eggplant tofu stur fry and some of my husband's sweet and sour chicken and fried rice.

It's probably an isolated incident and mistakes happen, but ever since 5 a.m. that night my life has been miserable.

We go to the Street Eats side. They are fast, and their staff are friendly. Their Crispy pork Kai-lan, Duck stir fry, Roasted duck noodle soup, are awesome! You gotta try their Pineapple fried rice too! Their appetizers, pork egg rolls and chicken sate are delicious! We always go back. Highly recommended. 👍

In my opinion, the best Thai food around. Great for those who are new to the cuisine or want to try it. Lunch specials are a great value and offer a great variety.

Atmosphere is average, but clean. Went in around 1 pm on a Saturday and it was fairly quiet compared to common meal times. When it's quiet the service is top notch.... less customers, you know? That said, the prices here are a bit higher than some other Thai places, BUT! THE! FOOD! The food here is absolutely STELLAR! Authentic flavors and large portions! The sweet and sour, and peanut sauces are amazing! I've been eating Thai in Okc for 19 years, and Panang's Massaman Curry is the best I've had in Okc!

Favorite spot for Thai food. The evil jungle chicken is the best. Also enjoy the chicken satay and seafood options. Large portions and always fresh and delicious no matter what you get.

I haven't dined in, but the food from this place is awesome! The atmosphere is calm, low-lit, and the staff are friendly. The food is made in a timely manner as well. Great noodles and curry.

To go order: I have been known to drive across state lines to enjoy this spot. I have been coming for more than ten years Unfortunately today may be the last I ever eat there. Food allergies. The gentlemen was attentive until pressured to attend to a growing line. An honest mistake was made but it will cost me a miserable night and hopefully not more. Shell fish allergy was given great attention and I am thankful I will have no reaction to that. The dinner was done right. The appetizers were not. Egg rolls ...I ordered 2 and got three...maybe paid for three... Can't eat them...made with a gross cheap salad with brown lettuce and cucumber slice. I stop breathing because of cucumber. I have meds so I will survive. But fair warning if you have food allergies, double check or do without, and even if not...never get the egg rolls!

Everything from the street food side is WONDERFUL. Brings me back to the streets of Thailand. I was disappointed with the Thai Iced Tea this round because of the dregs at the bottom of the cup. This is the first time it has happened and it left a bad taste with me.

This is my favorite place to eat in Oklahoma City. I've eaten here for many years and have watched them grow over the years. The food has always been excellent, but they have continued to upgrade everything about the look of the restaurant and the quality of the presentation. Staff is always nice and helpful. The dishes are always reasonably priced. I've settled on their sweet and sour stir fry as my go-to dish (I get it at a 3 heat). But I see and try a lot of the other dishes that my friend get and they are all excellent. My meal last night was the best I've ever had there. The portions were a little more generous and the fresh vegetables were cut a little chunkier. The sauce was right on target. It was really perfect! I got a taste of the coconut ice cream that my friend ordered and that was amazing too. Get over here and treat yourself to a fresh meal with incredible vegetables, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. My highest recommendation.
