Unfussy, family-owned option for hearty portions of familiar fare such as curries & stir-fries.
Our favorite Thai restaurant on the north side. My husband is a huge fan of pad see ew (soy sauce stir-fried noodles) and he says this is one of the best he’s had. It’s flavorful and a good mix of savory and sweet. He also appreciates the amount of veggies in the dish.
I like ordering the lunch combo where you can get an assortment of dishes to sample all in one serving. It varies by day and you can pick and choose what you want. I really like the green curry, the pad thai, and the spring rolls here. The portions here are pretty big for me and sometimes we take home leftovers. Service is great and staff is friendly. There are several locations, but this one has always been consistently good. Overall, it is definitely a must-try if you like Thai!
Just had a fantastic meal here! The service was incredibly friendly, the staff was very attentive and helpful. I tried the Spicy Basil Chicken Fried Rice and it was phenomenal. Perfect level of spice, delicious savory flavors, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I also had the Chicken Satay, and the peanut sauce was incredible. The chicken was tender and juicy. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!
They have a really great lunch special. You choose from a preselected menu option and the portions are really big. You can probably share with a second person. I wish you can change the spice level on it but it’s okay. I recommend trying the spicy Thai basil, curry chicken, and the angel wings!
We have ordered take-out vegetarian curries a few times from this restaurant, and have liked the taste.
However, we recently got to know that all of their curries are shrimp based, which is a no-no for most vegetarians. Also, people who may be allergic to shrimp would never come to know. They should’ve included this information in their menu, and we would’ve never ordered from here.
Kindly be mindful of your customers and their dietary/religious restrictions.
Oh my gosh! My meal was outstanding along with impeccable service. At least 4 different servers stopped by my table. The food was hot and delicious. I'm guessing 30 to 35 people stopped in to pick up phone or internet orders while I was there too. The place maintened 15 to 20 active tables of dine in service too. Try it, you'll like it. This was my first visit but will not be my last! I'm now a regular, I have to get my weekly fix. Always consistently good.
Traveller from out of the country here and from a big city in Canada. I must say, the food is just as good in comparison to the Thai food places in my city. The soy sauce noodle was “delicious” and “so good” as one of the kids said. The Tom yum soup had a nice kick of spice so it was perfect for someone who doesn’t eat that much spicy food. The spring rolls was a good starter to begin with. Overall I would recommend this restaurant for those craving Thai food. For the price and it’s portion it’s definitely worth it and you can expect to take home some left overs. Thank you and the server, who was very kind, for our lovely experience here today.
I've been to the Panang 9 before in Yukon, and this Panang 2 is smaller and feels older. We came on a Monday for lunch, my group of 8 colleagues. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server took our drink orders; when I asked for sweet tea, he informed me there was only unsweet, but didn't offer or bring me the packets of sugar I saw on another patron's table.
My colleagues highly recommend the Thai tea - tea with (what I believe is) half and half.
I ordered the pad Thai with veggies and tofu. I've experienced the tofu in smaller cuts before and these were not marinated very thoroughly. The veggie cuts were huge. The (pork?) roll was unexpected as well as the sweet and not so sour dipping sauce.
The noodles themselves were delish but were stretchy - and not in the best way. Shouldn't they break when pulled apart? Eventually?
The server didn't ask for our desired spice level, which would have made this dish so much better if I had remembered to ask for more spice. Oh well, it's such a large portion, I always end up taking some home and reheating it myself on the stove and I add my own spice back in.
I recommend the Panang 9 in Yukon over this location.
I love this place!

Delish food and always attentive service
Absolutely love this place! Super nice people, always accommodate our restricted food requirements. Absolutely delicious food!!
The peanut sauce is worth trying, they're generous with their sauce: 2 cups of sauce for 3 rolls! The tom yum is what you will expect, the level of sourness, and spice is on point.
Not forgetting their sticky rice and mango, great dessert to end the meal. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The food was delicious, the portions were big, presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere was great. Only music was pop one. We wish they had Thai music.
Their lunch specials are really delicious! And ample portions.
One of our favorite places. Take out and dine in. Food is consistently good and always great service! Fresh Spring rolls with shrimp are 😋!
Very disappointed I don’t really write comments like this but this time I feel it was needed due to lack of understanding and customer service. Won’t be back to this place. Horrible experience!
WE LOVE THIS RESTAURANT. EVERYTIME WE GO TO OKC WE GO EAT HERE. WISHED WE HAD ONE IN TULSA
Best is OKC
We have been ordering food from here for several years, and they have always been very accommodating. Our last visit was very disappointing. We ordered some food and asked for no spicy. The food was too spicy to our taste, therefore, we returned it and asked for something else. To our surprise they were charging us for the food that we returned and replaced. I actually stood up and spoke with the lady in the front, whom was still polite, but nonetheless did not bulge. So we ended up paying for the food, and they lost two families from ever going back there.
Lunch specials were Hugh, could have split and been satisfied.

Food was delicious and the people were very friendly!
We work at hospital and paid for an order they added egg to a vegan plate and we called they said to bring it back and they will remake the food. I arrive and they said they can.not take the food back and would not remake the food. I paid about 20 dollars for this and they would not even refund my money. DO NOT GO HERE
Flavors sucked so bad had to go home and re season it
Lunch could be better,Pad T, Garlic Beef wasn't that great today.
Hard 2 stars on this specifically on account of the prices. It used to be $14 for the curry. $18 for curry, a $4 increase is WILD to me
I've been coming here for about 10+ years, but my last three visits have been so disappointing. The food is still delicious, but the service is disrespectful and biased. I ordered my food, food was brought to me, and my server never came back. I watched five servers check on multiple patrons, refill glasses, etc but I couldn't get a refill, soy sauce, a to go box or even my tab settled. I had to go the pick up counter to pay.
Stopped in for a late lunch with a friend. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We ordered two appetizers and three main dishes. What a treat! The panang curry was perfect, not to spicy, but just right so you can taste all the vegetables with that hot ending to it. The satay was really good, the peanut sauce was really amazing. The egg rolls were piping hot and crispy. I would recommend this restaurant. I will be going back very soon!
Great food. The service & atmosphere where adequate. The one big gripe was that they were preparing to close an hour early. Which meant we had to see flip tables and carry out bags of trash while we ate. :(
Consistently great food and great service. Our go to place for Thai food.
We try a lot of Thai restaurants, but this one was the best! The flavors were on spot and so comforting!
This has always been one of my favorite places due to the amount of portions they give you, the flavor of the food, and the price.
If you’re a seafood person that likes spicy food, try their crab fried rice (spicy), it’s a bit on the pricy end but the portions make it worth it! Granted, it may not look like a lot when you get it to-go because their to-go tuba-wear(spellcheck) look like those tuba-wears you get from Sam’s club to prep food on Sundays before the work week but TRUST ME! SOMEHOW THEY STUFF THE RICE IN THERE!
- The End
Prompt, savory, delicious Thai food. The portions were quite large. No shrink-flation here! Good wine list, clean restaurant. Will definitely return.
Food was like 8.99 now it’s 17.99 for chicken and rice. I will never come again and you will get shut down for being greedy.
I always come here for their salmon dishes. I wanted to put a review this time. So far its always amazing. The staff are absolutely nice and give out great service. As for the food, it's always full of flavor. 5 stars all the the way ✨️ oh and I recommend their coconut ice cream, it's perfect for dessert
Staff were helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Nice atmosphere suitable for a wide variety of customers (business meal, family, etc). Prices were not excessive. Staff appeared familiar with restrictions of a vegan diet, and were able to make entrees vegan upon request.
The best beef fried rice I’ve ever tasted. Not to mention the pork Gyoza.
Very good chicken skewers. Everyone else remarked how much they liked their dishes. They were very nice accommodating our group of 11. Drink never got empty, friendly service.
Only thing to keep in mind. Their portion size may be too much for some. Especially if you plan on getting an appetizer with your Entrees. Thank you.
Great Green Curry pork
They have a really great lunch special. You choose from a preselected menu option and the portions are really big. You can probably share with a second person. I wish you can change the spice level on it but it’s okay. I recommend trying the spicy Thai basil, curry chicken, and the angel wings!
I love the Panang restaurants. I got a lunch meal and it was very filling and flavorful.
Pathetic food nothing tastes good everything we ordered was tasting so blunt and doesn’t seems fresh
Good food.not very original Thai food, but delicious
Been here multiple times before without issue. Last dinner there they brought out appetizers and we asked for a couple minutes to enjoy appetizers before ordering. Waiter didn’t come by for 20 minutes. Three of us ordered, two entrees came out and I waited for 15 minutes more for them to cook mine because they clearly forgot to fix my food. Received a quick apology but they didn’t discount anything after my food clearly being forgotten.
the servers are nice and attentive. The food taste great. The meat can be a little tough in some dishes. Quality. Will go back
Great and authentic Thai food, reasonable price and large portions. A restaurant you must go if you like real Thai food
Death, taxes and an amazing meal at Panang's.
I'm so impressed with this restaurant on how consistent they can deliver quality every time.
They could double their prices and I wouldn't blink a eye at it.
i like the curries here
Their green curry is exceptional
Great flavors, reasonable prices, and quick service.
Yummy food! I can’t handle the spice, so I always ask for no spice. Still delicious. I enjoy the Chicken Sate…marinated, grilled chicken on a stick and served with a fresh slaw-type salad. Quite atmosphere.
We came in with a large party celebrating my daughter’s birthday and the staff was so accommodating from start to finish. Our waitress was phenomenal. The food was great and the portion sizes are huge! We had leftovers for days. Definitely get the Thai tea, mango sticky rice and any of the curries. They were delicious!
Ginger pork stir fry needed more flavor, particularly GINGER. Dish favored sweet side than savory. Panang Curry spice 5 star was hot but not unbearable. You could tell that the vegetables needed some salt to really give their flavor. It had lots of large shrimp, but they were a bit overdone. Usually, Thai places have the most tender shrimp. I'm going to try a different restaurant. Maybe Zabb Thai OkC. The service was fast for us because there were few customers at 6:30PM on a Friday night. A sign of things????
This restaurant used to be consistently good. The last two times, has not been the case. The rice noodles were so over cooked they were a gummy a paste. I had to pick them out of the dish. I asked for a spice level of 3 and it was zero. It’s disappointing to not get what you ordered/paid for.
Tried this restaurant for the first time and the food was great! We opted for the lowest spice level for both dishes (spicy basil fried rice and the seafood stir fried noodle dish). Ordered take out and the wait time was very minimal.
Take out. Serving sizes were good. Time from order to ready was very good. Papaya salad was really good.
Food tasted great until I found a bug in it.
The chicken sate and vegtable and tofu soup is to die for!
Gotbit to go i order pineapple fried rice with shrimp Omg !!! ,God
Quantity with price great but not quality
Consistently good pad thai.
I had the beef panang and it was super good.
Panang Thai Restaurant is one of our “go-to” restaurants. We order takeout-out at least once every 2 weeks and have never had any issues with food or service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great Thai restaurant.
Too many little kids making too much noise.
The lunch special is a fantastic deal. You get to try four different foods and there us plenty enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day.
The Lunch specials are a great deal and a diverse plate, everything was well cooked and tasted delicious!
Yum
Panang curry was delicious. Fresh spring roll-vegetable tasted like dirt. They were nasty, and a waste of money. Employees were all eating, and no-one would bring us our check so we could pay and leave. Never had 1 refill of water.
Every dish is so overly sweet, it’s like eating bowls of sugar! Also, I found several hairs in my rice. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but after seeing the other horrifying customer photos (roaches, bugs, SCREWS in the food) I’ve concluded this place must just be careless and dirty 😫
Ordered delivery for shrimp pad kee-mao. The noodles were very bland (no sauce?) and did not look like the picture, unfortunately. I was really craving some so I just added some teriyaki sauce (improvised with whatever i had), reheated, and then topped with fresh basil & chili flakes. The portion size was quite good though!
I’ve ordered from here twice before too, and the food is decent, but personally doesn’t satisfy my cravings for thai food. :(
I do however love the customizable options for the food here (especially when ordering delivery), and the portion sizes. :)
If you don't like spice keep looking. My wife can not do spice ... so our meal ordered no heat came no heat and no flavor .... not a great experience for us ....
Best Panang Curry on the planet
The best Thai food experience I’ve had in OKC! From the atmosphere to the Meal, I give this 5 stars, I really appreciate the excellent service, and find the price reasonable. Can’t wait to go back ☺️
Do not eat here. My girlfriend and I both had food poisoning after eating chicken pad thai here
I went to get dinner with my family and we walked in and the server was taking us to the table and other person tell us to not only to go
Very good Thai food. I love the variety of their lunch specials. The pad thai and evil jungle chicken curry are super comforting and delicious.
The best Thai food in OKC for dine in or takeout. Highly recommend the soy sauce or spicy basil noodles. Take out is quick, and dine in service is great. Prices are reasonable as well
Tasty food and good service
Delicious food and great service!
They have way better locations for food
Ordered food to-go for dinner recently and absolutely fell in love with their food! The portions were generous, the food was hot, and the ingredients were tasty/fresh! I'm excited to come back and try other menu items
The food was amazing, the portions were big. Service was quick and friendly. We eat Thai a lot and this just became my favorite spot in OKC for Thai. As a table we had Red Curry, Green Curry, Pad Thai and Pineapple Rice. It was all excellent. The only thing I would change and the reason I'm only giving 4 stars for the food is the spice/heat level. I didn't see a spice level choice on the menu, and they didn't ask about spice level when we ordered. To me, it was very mild. So if you love your Thai super hot like I do...you may be disappointed.
I've gone everyday and had their lunch menu each time, VERY reasonably priced, quick service. Great options and customer service is always exceptional. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Thai tea.
My husband was spot on. I ordered veggie fried rice, with no onions, mushrooms or tomatoes. With a soy sauce dressing. It came with onions and mushrooms, was really greasy and no flavor.
Delicious soup! Thank you 🌹
Great food and lunch specials!
So good!! and a ton of food. You're going to have leftovers for sure!
I’ll give it two because the staff was nice, but the food was literally gross. It tasted like old water and starch. I got red curry and the only part I could eat was the beef. I couldn’t even eat the rice because of how bad it was. One thing I can say is they had really good tasting water.
The food is great here and I've been to other locations that have been great too. This one however I'm not sure if it was just the day or what, but the service was pretty subpar. After getting the food it was like everyone forgot we were there and it took awhile to get our check afterwards. It's still a good place to come and I hope the service was just off for this one day because I do still want to come back here.
The food and the portions were amazing! Friendly and professional staff.
Not my favorite, the Pad Thai was weak in flavors and not served as impressively as other Panang locations specifically the one in Yukon. I asked for a 3 out of 5 spice and got a 0 or a 1. I was not impressed with this location as the spring rolls we were served were burnt. The people were nice but I won't be back to this location after the sloppy presentation. It was so unimpressive that I didn't take any photos.
Their food is pretty good, not the best Thai food in the city but the portions are huge and the prices are great
My experience here was pretty good, the food was great and the service was perfect and it was a clean restaurant with very clean bathrooms. we didn't have to wait long for our food either, I highly recommend.
I ordered a take out couple days ago the house chili paste stir fried with beef, when I was almost done eating my food at home, I chewed a piece of glass in my food that I almost swallowed. Food always taste great here but the chef needs to be careful when preparing food.
You better call it America food than Thai food. As a American food it is good. But as a Thai food restaurant it’s not that good.
Service was great. Food was amazing. Portion sizes were huge. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. I will definitely be coming back.
Good beef stir fry.
Love the food, environment, the fast service and it’s clean
Lunch special is well priced and more food than I could eat. Service was so so. Would definitely recommend
Great portions, 2 meals for 3 people! 6 people equals 100 dollars plus tip
Usually really good, but it was not up to par this evening. The peanut sauce tasted different and the Pad Thai was completely bland and seemed to be missing sauce or some combination of a sweet and savory ingredient.
Favorite family spot to meet before running errands on the north side. Love the family style food.
We love the food and the service and continue to frequent this restaurant for special occasions and date nights.
It was just okay. Nothing special about the food.
The sauces are always in point! The veggies are always fresh tasting like they grow them out back! They even take time to cut ridges in your carrots!
I've been to this restaurant over the years and have always had a great experience. Tonight, sadly, was a departure from the usual excellent service. I ordered an evil jungle curry but they gave me massaman curry by mistake. When I called about it the guy insisted that I ordered the massaman curry. However, I distinctly remember when I first picked up the order, he read back the order to me and confirmed with me that I ordered the evil jungle curry. Eventually he relented and said I could pick up the correct order. To their credit, when I arrived the correct order was ready for pick up. The guy who made a mistake did make sure to snarkily and rudely say bye as I left, which made me regret the generous tip I left for him when I originally picked up the order.
There was no wait. The servers were friendly. The food came out quick and was delicious. I got fried rice and my wife got pad thai. I got a 2/5 spicy and it was pretty hot, definitely not moving up to a 3. Will definitely be back.
One of our favorite places. Love the evil chicken curry, the green curry, the pad Thai, chicken skewers, spring rolls, Thai tea…. Everything is great! Kids love the rice & stir fried veggies too(as well as the big fish tank)!
Do not order from parang 2. They argued with the Uber driver when she asked why the rest of the order was not there. When I called to ask why only 1 of the 4 items were delivered the person on the phone talked to another one about the specifics of the order and than got back on the phone and said call Uber and wouldn’t and hung up on me. He offered no reason for not fulfilling the whole order.
This is our “go-to” place for Thai food! The food is always hot and delicious!
We love the spring rolls too!!
Panang 2 Thai Restaurant is phenomenal! I am spoiled about this place food and service. Their food is always fresh tasting. Their Chicken Basil Fried Rice and Panang Chicken Curry are my favorite of all their food. They have so many food in their menu that you have to try. All of them are amazing!
Great Thai restaurant and good customer service Good good
Presentation: ★★★★★
Quality: ★★★★☆
Service: ★☆☆☆☆
Value: ★★★★☆
When first walking in, I expecting the place to be a lot smaller but it wasn't which was nice! The ambiance was casual and light. I especially loved the background music
The portion size was impressive for the curry bowl. I was not expecting such a large amount. As delicious as the food looked, it didn't live up. Even though I ordered level 4 spice level, I couldn't taste any seasoning, which was quite disappointing since I've had level 4 spice at other Thai restaurants and could taste seasoning. The best part of the meal was the spring rolls. They were cooked to perfection and tasted even better with the sweet and sour sauce.
The service started off great. However, after the food was delivered, we were not checked on for the rest of the evening. I waited roughly 10 minutes after I finished eating before I decided to walk up to the cash register atrendant and ask for the check.
Overall, I was not impressed enough to return.
Great food, good service, and amazing atmosphere try it out. I got the pineapple fried rice 😋
Love the nice and chill ambiance of the dining room with the huge, roomy seating booths. Panang curry is my favorite and their Tom Yum soup is good anytime, too. Love the crunchy spring rolls as a starter or to dip in my curry with my meal. Service is outstanding, always on time but not smothering you. They let you set the pace of your stay, whether you need to hurry or take your time and hang out a while. I was really impressed with the calm, chill and hushed dining room that just felt comfortable as soon as we sat down. Food quality and quantity is excellent!
Always quality and consistency. Attentive staff and decent portions
**PARENTS TAKE NOTICE. THEY DO NOT HAVE CHANGING TABLES IN EITHER BATHROOM**
We LOVE the food at Panang, but I don't think we'll be returning to the north side restaurant. Our last time in service was awful (which is very unusual for Panang). They took our order, and other than bringing us our food basically ignored us. Our drinks were empty we were considering adding some spring rolls, needed a few napkins. I mean they hat a TON of staff moving around, but they just ignored us. I saw at least one couple walk out for lack of service. It was like pulling teeth to get a refill. To top it all off we discovered they don't have changing tables in either bathroom.
IF YOU HAVE HIGHCHAIRS YOU NEED TO HAVE CHANGING TABLES. It was pouring rain when we were there so changing our toddler in the car was not an option unless we wanted to get soaked. So we had to use a booth in the back. Let's be honest, I have no problem changing my toddlers diaper in the middle of the table. There just comes a point where it's not a big deal to the parents any more. However, the other folks in there don't want to see that. The decent and proper thing to do is provide facilities to do so. By the way Panang, it's about to be a state law that you MUST providing changing tables, so why not get out in front of the law?
The food was impeccable as always, but the lack of service and the lack of basic amenities that all family restaurants should have is very disappointing.
