Hands down the Best Vegan Curry I’ve had.

I swung by on my way back to Dallas, so delighted to find such an accommodating vegan restaurant.
I originally ordered mine to go but the atmosphere was very chill.
Very relaxed. The service was wonderful.
The next time I’m in OKC , I will be sampling the menu. Highly encourage vegan and non vegans to check out this delicious Thai place. Perfect flavor

The milk was a pleasant surprise, and the curry puff was delightful with a nice balance of spices. Overall, a fantastic experience with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Picked this place at random for an early dinner while I was waiting for traffic to clear up. So glad I did. Service was Immediate and friendly. Very clean place, even the restrooms! Ordered King Pad Thai with a side of spring rolls along with a Thai ice tea. All were delicious. The King Pad Thai had shrimp tempura done just right.The food arrived piping hot. This place is tucked away in a strip mall but well worth a visit.

Awesome food !!! Best pad Thai I've had since we lived in Vegas! Not in our hood. But we happened to be near here one day and stopped in. Now we drive here once a week. It's that good. My Asian wife knows here food and loves their curry too.

I love this little bistro! Tons of Vegan options with a seperate menu. My husband says his meat dishes were wonderful. I cant wait to go back. The friendliest staff and very clean. The jungle curry was amazing!

Each plate was fulfilling and flavorful! Very delicious, highly recommend the pad Thai or the curry! Tofu is great. Chicken is great! I got the tofu pad Thai spice level 4 and that was amazing. It’s flavorful and spicy! Gave me an amazing kick. I got a side of the lvl 10 and woah. A side is perfect, would not get that for my entire plate lol.

New to OKC and I've been here a couple times now and love the food and friendly owner. I've had the tofu pad thai, side salad with ginger dressing, and a mango smoothie both times. The noodles have been perfection. Today I noticed the sauce is a little sweet, which I liked. They have spice level of 1-4, I got 2, but didn't taste much spice, so I'll go higher next time. When I ordered tofu the owner was thoughtful and asked if I was vegan. I'm not, but she said they can make the pad thai without egg if needed.Lastly, the mango smoothie is fresh and I like that they add mini frozen mango chunks as garnish. Very refreshing.

Clean restaurant really good food

Wonderful little place with great summer rolls, Panang curry, and chicken curry bites! Their Thai coffee smoothie and mango passion fruit smoothies weren't our favorite, but they were alright. Overall, it was great food and great service, but I think we'll get boba at another place if/when we go again.

Good little restaurant. I had to charge my car across the street so we hung out and ate here. I had Thai stir fry with chicken but you can get tofu instead. It was the lunch menu so about $10. Really good food, they'll make it mild or as hot as you can stand. Probably never would have found this if it wasn't for renting an EV, don't think I'll do that again. But, I would definitely eat here again if I'm ever in the area.

Pad thai was amazing. Best I’ve had in OKC so far. Curry puffs tasted like… curry in puff pastry. Only complaint is that the Pad Thai didn’t come with lime or alfalfa sprouts. Crab rangoon was average, but at least it didn’t come with sweet and sour sauce. The peanut sauce that comes with the spring rolls was incredible. I stole some from my gf to drizzle on my pad thai, made it even better.

My first time here, and I have to say if you’re looking, just go! I tried the Khao Soi (curry noodles) and it was absolutely amazing! My server was super sweet and helpful when it came to my first time eating the noodles. Would 10/10 eat here again and recommend for my close friends.

In my opinion, Thai Bistro 38 has the best Thai food in Oklahoma City and I have eaten at most Thai restaurants in the Oklahoma City area for more than 25 years! The other Thai restaurants don't have the umami depth of taste that you get from Thai Bistro 38. If you like Pad Thai noodles, try theirs. You will love the freshness and flavor. Their food is authentic Thai, so if you are a Thai food lover you always get what you expect and not some adjusted "Americanized" flavor of Thai cuisine.

This place is so good. I love their yellow curry.. it hits the spot every time. I moved from Houston where there is so many different authentic places to eat and this place is what I was looking for. On top of that their lunch special is bomb, and you definitely have to add the Tom Yum soup!

Pretty good pad Thai, but on the sweet side. Thai fried rice was good too but a bit sweet.

I got the crab fried rice, they got the pad see, everything was super fresh, very flavorful and delicious.

I ordered the Khao Soi to go and it was fantastic! I was drinking the curry sauce after! An employee helpfully described how this dish is best enjoyed (definitely add the lime for extra freshness) as I went to pick up the order. It came with chewy, bouncy noodles separate from the AMPLE curry sauce with chicken, and small portions of mustard greens, chopped red onion, and umami Chile oil, a load of crispy egg noodles and a lime wedge. The texture of the final mixture was a joy for my palate. I will definitely return and undoubtedly order this dish every time.

I’m giving 5 stars because of service. Staff was amazing!!! Chicken Pad see ew is what I was craving but I never had it with fettuccine noodles instead of flat egg noodles. I’ll never order this from here again. Salad w/ ginger dressing I’d give 1 star … no tomato on it …. Just carrots & lettuce & the ginger dressing was too thick for my liking. Restaurant was clean, Covid restrictions still in place. Order was called in & ready in 15 minutes. Just wasn’t a fan of my entree never had it made like this, chicken was dry, and it just didn’t taste like pad see ew. 4pc spring roll wit sauce was PERFECT.

I just had a prejudiced experience at this restaurant. I have eaten at this restaurant many times in the past and came in to place a to go order as there was no answer on their phone line. When I walked in, the server working there looked past me to the white couple that entered the restaurant after me to seat them. Then she rudely asked if I was there for an order pickup. At which point I told her I had not ordered yet. She assumed that I was delivering food and not directly patroning their restaurant and clearly in her mind, not deserving of common courtesy. As such, she felt it was acceptable to ignore me and serve customers who entered the establishment after me because of the color of their skin.

Closes at 7pm everyday, no seating after 6:30? Waste of time driving here.

Best curry I’ve ever had. I’ve tried it multiple times and I had finally decided that curry just wasn’t for me until I tried theirs... AMAZING. Also... they’re vegan (except the green curry). So far my favorite is the Jungle curry with Tofu. Bistro 38 has won my heart. Now I just have to keep myself from ordering it every day.

I showed up for lunch at 1:55 PM. The lady told me that lunch ended at 2 o’clock. I showed her my phone and that it was only 1:55 PM but she pointed behind her and insisted that it was 2 o’clock in the back area. I don’t appreciate that kind of a business practice or ethics. They need to learn to take better care of the customer. I walked!

Thai food is one of my top choices for dine-in and this place didn't disappoint, We had chicken pad thai and khao soi and both were really good, the portions were hearty and the customer service was excellent. The Khao Soi even came with directions on how to properly garnish it which was an awesome touch. Definitely recommend the summer rolls if there on a weekend (weekend only item).

Curry is great! It can be very spicy. There is a scale of spice where 2 is middling (a 1 is not offered for this dish) - but hot enough you start to tear up, 3 says goodbye to both your tear ducts and nasal passages, mildly warm sensation in the stomach and (I believe there is a 4) even the very scent of the spices in your curry is going to set you off your tear ducts and nasal passages with a more-than-likely firey sensation in your stomach. Honestly, this curry was good! I highly recommend this location and the green curry! White sticky rice is provided to help cut the heat. Service was quick, food was delicious! Ordered summer rolls as well. They were delicious and comes with peanut sauce.

I came across Bistro 38 a couple years ago during the pandemic and they have the best Panang Curry in town and surrounding area. I get it every time. Definitely recommend

This place is amazing! The service was perfect. The Khao Soi was one of the best things I've had in OKC. Avocado smoothie was also awesome and my boyfriend loved his Tom Yum fried rice. He said it had the perfect amount of spice. We will be back for sure!

The place is NASTY , very Rude people . They used cheep artificial coconut milk , when I confronted them , they started to get nasty and insulting!
The people are NOT From Thailand , they are from Laos pretending they are Thai. Never go there ! We end up refusing the food !

Bistro 38 is always fantastic. I believe they have new owners now there have been some menu changes and all for the better. The food is always delicious, the service is always excellent, and we are never disappointed when we eat here.

Fast, reliable service and good food

We usually enjoy eating here. Today, we did not. There was another table with a small child who was unhappy and very loud about it. I understand. The family decided to allow the child to play games on the phone at full volume without headphones. The game included the sound of a continuously ringing phone sound. Imagine an old fashioned phone ringing continuously for half an hour. At full volume. This should not be allowed by the restaurant. Highly recommend ordering to go or delivery, we won't be eating there in person again.

Stopped by at this quaint bistro for a quick lunch. Better than I expected. Service was super fast and excellent. Had a chicken green curry lunch, tofu tempura and Thai iced coffee. Everything tasted flavorful. Price was affordable. The lady server was attentive and friendly. Will definitely return to this restaurant.

Quiet, peaceful restaurant. Staff is friendly and dining area clean and neat. Ample menu to choose from. Meal was delicious and wait staff attentive. Easy to find and parking area huge. Will add to my regular restaurants to visit.

Had dinner there with 3 others. Fresh spring rolls were good, and truly fresh. They were out of my usual favorite, chicken satay. I ordered the green pad Thai and it was a big disappointment, literally swimming in a sugary sauce that tasted like watered down maple syrup; bet i could have drained off half a cup of it…I did tell the waiter and the person cooking that I didn’t like it, snd why, and was told by one to add some hot sauce and by the other to try something else next time. I have the definite impression they’ve changed out the cook as well as the menu. The mango drink was very underwhelming. I’d come back for the spring rolls and the (hopefully not reinvented) satay. The place is immaculately clean snd everyone is very nice but nobody offered to exchange the green pad Thai dish I told them I didn’t like and I got a bill that included it. I have loved their pad Thai in the past but this was something quite different. Conclusion: thumbs up for spring rolls if you like a lot of fresh carrot, lettuce, and fresh cilantro ( I do). Thumbs down for green pad Thai and mango drink that looked so good in the picture…was told fried rice as well as curry were good by dinner companions.

When walking in I do feel a sense of depression, no music, felt as if something was deceased. The service was a bit appalling, more understanding on the wait could have balanced both service and to go orders with no problem. After about 10 minutes of waiting beverages finally came, I was about to drink my water untill I noticed a noodle in my water. After ordering and waiting 15 minutes customers came in to eat, they were not greeted but questioned if they wanted to dine and sounded unsure if they wanted them around to eat over hearing if they wanted to go somewhere else to eat, should practice more on being confident. Once the food came out it's was competent but the smell was a bit odd something to reminds of wet dog. I believe they are going to need a waiter for night shift because it simply was to much for the man to focus on all, I believe it needs a bit of balance on both service and to go orders. Food tasting flavorful but could use a bit work for it to be great!

Since I recently moved to OKC, I had a taste for Thai food & came across this place.. I ordered shrimp summer rolls and chicken green curry. This was by far the best tasting Thai I’ve had in years.. I will definitely return and recommend to anyone!

One of my favorite Thai places in North OKC! They're great with safety precautions and the food is always delicious. Huge portions means we get several meals for the family each time we order.

Pad Thai chicken said peanuts were on the side but not separate as I found out. Didn’t want the peanuts on the food but there they were. Not the best experience for my first order.

I found the gem in Oklahoma City. I would say Bistro 38 is the Best Thai Food here and some dishes are even better taste than my Thai cooking skills. Curry is my best part, it's favorful, authentic in terms of taste and texture. House-made Spring Roll with the Sweet n Sour are a good partner, and nobody can compare with. Service is also good. I brought my family here many times and whenever we ask for Thai restaurant, everyone is down for Bistro 38.

I love getting bistro 38! Kid fried rice and steamed veggies for my daughter. My partner gets spicy green fried rice. I get massaman curry. We love it all!

Really good thai. Owner wouldn't let us use the coupon once show and we were missing an item from our order. So we had to cook up our own rice in the instant pot for the curry soup as you needed to have the filler to help. Would come back and would recommend the king pad thai with chicken.

This place is phenomenal! Beautiful spot and easy deliverying from there. Prompt.

This place was fantastic! We ordered curry and fried rice and both were great. The only thing was the rice for the curry was a little smaller of a portion in comparison to the curry sauce itself. Other than that 5 stars for sure!

This is our first time here. Other descriptions of the inside are right on, very simple decor, very clean, including the restrooms! We were the only customers at an odd time of day for lunch and the service was great.

I got the beef salad with max spiciness, a 4. It has a great flavor and the spice is just right. It’s a little sweeter than I expected, but not objectionably so. My wife got the pad vegetables with tofu and ate it all after planning to take some home.

It was a very pleasant experience, one we’ll be happy to repeat.

I love the volcano tofu! Perfect spice is a '3' for me. The spice scale goes to 4 if you need more heat. It's plenty of food to share but feel free to load the table up with any dish. I was too pumped about dinner to take a picture before I started inhaling the delicious meal, so pictured is only half an order of the volcano tofu.

Best Thai in OKC? Quite possibly!

Very good food with varying spice options. Had pad thai, pad see ew, and chicken nuggets lol. All came out very fast. Do wish the chicken was cooked to order as you could taste that it was reheated.
