I’m from out of town for business. I was skeptical to find authentic flavors from the area. The moment I saw kroeung on the menu, I was ecstatic. My husband is Cambodian, he was looking forward to my meal as well. I ended up ordering the red pepper combo and crab ragoons. The red pepper dish was extremely flavorful. The ragoons are definitely homemade. I ordered 3 hot, not hot to me, however, I regularly eat Thai chilis. It has a perfect heat that stays without being uncomfortable. The market next door is excellent. They have blue crab and duck egg (it may have been balute). I look forward to trying the rest of your dishes while I’m in town.

Update: Ate here 2 more times since. Always as expected. Amazing flavors and ingredients!

The eggroll and veggies roll tasted like they were fried in old grease, it was really a sad situation. My order total was $50, nowhere near worth the price. I didn't bother calling to complain because none of us were interested in having our order replaced from there. I would like a refund though. We also asked for extra egg in the fried rice and got none. The orange chicken also had rice that tasted days old, I do not recommend eating here, at all.

Came in from out of town. I am putting two stars because they served edible food. However, it was gross. I got the beef on a stick and I have never not eaten my food I paid for at a restaurant until today. My boyfriend ordered the red pepper beef. It was slightly flavorful, but we wouldn’t eat it again. The restaurant is also not very nice looking with bright red and green walls that are peeling. Service was not to be complimented either. Our boba tasted really powdery no matter how much we mixed it and we told our waiter and he said he could not refund us even though we only took 2 sips of our original boba that was still filled to the top. That boba was $11. Not including tip, our two entrees and boba was totaled to $48 we could have spent at an actual restaurant. At Panda Express, you can serve two people for $12 in case that helps anyone.

Service sucked.. my grandchildren waited over 45 minutes for some chicken nuggets while everyone in the restaurant was getting served and we had been there At least 20 minutes before everyone. We were the only people there at first. The food is mediocre at best. I don't ever need to eat here again!!

The spring rolls were my favorite. I ordered fried rice with all meats. I should have just ordered chicken. That pork and beef be looking & tasting funny. The waitress was new. I did not like how there were a lot of people in & out the kitchen. A couple even brought their new baby up by the kitchen doors to show one of the employees.

Love them the food is pricey but for the amount you get and the quality it’s is very much worth it! Their Fried rice is great! And my parents love the Crab Raggons! They even have boba! Then after feel free to go next door to global food market that they also own and pick up a couple things!

One of the best pho places in town! The pho broth is just elite! They also have a really good boba and smoothie menu. We always get the avocado smoothie. Sooooo good! Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo because I dug right in. Hands down the best Hot n Spicy, or “Red Pepper Chicken”, in Lawton. I haven’t even been able to find a sweet n spicy chicken dish like this in OKC. Usually when you order something like this, it’s too gummy/ saucy. The sweet n spicy chicken HERE is perfect! Has the perfect amount of crispy and light sauce.
Can’t wait for my next trip to Lawton to snag some more!

Ive eaten here before, but today, they got my order wrong 3 times.
-1st with the drink order by giving me 3 drinks instead of 2. They couldn't refund the money, they just gave me a piece of paper w an email on it and said it will take 2 to 3 business days.
-2nd i ordered sesame chicken and a kids fried rice for my son, and a pineapple fried rice with cashews no eggs for me. Some how they ended up bringing 2 types of chicken plates, the one for my kid was accurate. The one they brought out for me was orange chicken w pineapple and cashews on it. I was confused and he was confused, like you didnt order orange chicken, im like no i order the chicken from the picture for my son, and the pineapple fried rice for me. I asked if he can bring a menu you so i can point at what i mean, and he never brought the menu. I had to go up to the counter and ask and everyone had a condescending attitude like i was giving them a hard time.
-3rd the pineapple rice came out, and it had chocken in it. The owner or what it seems look like she was checking on me as if i was giving a hard time to in which she witnessed the 3rd mistake by there being chicked in the pineapple rice, and saying that it was her fault. When it was time to pay everyone is side eyeing me acting as if im the terrible customer lile yhe restaurant is the victim when i literally was clear about my order and stating to them i dont eat meat, and them asking if i want to take the pineapple rice hone when i told them, im literally sifting through 12lbs a rice just to pick chicken out for the sake of them not having to make it again. I just gave up and decided ill just pay for my son's food and that's it. I had already paif for 3 drinks so they really didn't get a loss when i paid $40 for 3 mistakes.

Been here before but this is first time that I had an object in my food. Chipped my tooth told the staff and they just said we will remove the spring rolls from your ticket. Discovered a staple in my spingroll, how does that happe? I was looking to post the photo but im not given the option.

Our waiter was soft spoken/shy so we could barely hear him (maybe 1st day) after he brought our food that was last time we seen him. We had to ask another waiter for our refills. Asked for our check (2) & waited over 10mins (not busy) for it so we had to go get it ourselves. Understand if it was busy but it wasn't plus the check had added gratuity. Gratuity shouldn't be added especially if the service ain't good.

It was my first time here. I saw on the Lawton Grapevine it was good and it was good. I actually texted my son to tell him and asked if he wanted something, and of course, he did. He loved the food. I will definitely go back.

I went here on the 19th for my birthday with the family, a party of 9, and we had absolutely no issues. Everyone liked their food, the service was excellent, and we were each given a complimentary dessert at the end as we walked out. They also gave me a free drink if my choosing because of my birthday! The vibes are really friendly and overall everything was just amazing

Late post!! Red Peper is a flavorful and delicious food—my first time visiting family, Celebrating my Mom's birthday. We started with appetizers, egg rolls, chicken satay, and crab Rangoon. The main dish we got was pad thai, curry chicken, spicy cajun fries rice, the famous red paper chicken, short ribs and more!!. Our food was tasty, savory, spicy, and sweet, just as we liked. Service was excellent, portions were huge, and the food did come out fast. I highly recommend it if you want an ideal Asian cuisine fix! I managed to capture some of the dishes before We devoured the food!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Red Pepper, and it was an unforgettable experience. This family-owned Thai restaurant exceeded all my expectations with its delicious and well-priced dishes. I started with a Vietnamese coffee which was strong and perfectly balanced. Then, I ordered the large bowl of pho, and it was undoubtedly one of the best pho noodle soups I've ever had. The broth was flavorful, and the ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked.

The restaurant's ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was exceptional. I felt welcomed and taken care of from the moment I stepped in. Red Pepper's extensive menu features a variety of Cambodian (Khmer), Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese dishes, all of which are made fresh and to order. If you're a fan of Vietnamese coffee, I recommend you try it here with boba.
Just a few miles from Fort Sill's Main Gate, Red Pepper is the perfect spot for a delicious meal. They also have an international grocery store next door, where fresh produce, live blue crabs, herbs and spices, and seasonal crawfish are found.

I ordered their Orange Chicken asking if they had onions in it and was told no. Once I gave my husband his food he started having a allergic reaction. I called back asking about the onions and then was told yes it do have onions in it. Also asked for the money back but the server lied and said that I never asked about onions. So for the reason I will no longer come back to this restaurant.

Never going back there ! Asked for no onions because I am allergic then got food bite into an allergic reaction luckily I keep my epipen. Called back fir refund was told I never asked for no onions even though I been allergic for my while life (40 years). Why lie ? Take responsibility u messed up and give me money back ! Smh people that business employ os the reason lawton business fall. U have lost a customer and will tell everyone I come in contact with on post NOT to eat here.

I'm new to this area of southwestern Oklahoma. I've been looking for sustainable ways to improve my environment by repurposing already existing objects to my needs. I have been fortunate to find many things, and today I had the luck to see three galvanized tubs in Lawton for a very reasonable price. I immediately messaged the woman, and we agreed on a time to meet.

While I was talking with her, I asked her if there were any good Asian restaurants in Lawton. And she kind of grimaced, and said well, the buffets aren't very good but they're cheap. I said I don't want American Asian food, I want Asian Asian food. She laughed and told me about this place that her son likes to take her every time he visits. So I got the information from her, and using Google maps was able to locate the exact location of the restaurant!

When I pulled up in the parking lot there were two restaurants that would have fallen under the category Asian. One was Korean, and the other indicated it might have Thai food. So I went into the latter, and found a clean, quiet atmosphere, and the very attentive service.

The menu was a marvel in itself. There were dishes that are traditionally Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, and Cambodian. The owners are from Cambodia, and the food is all prepared fresh.

I ordered potstickers, because I hadn't yet eaten and needed something quickly. They brought out my Jasmine tea in a lovely pot with a china cup. I continued perusing the menu, there were so many things I wanted to try! But there were also many dishes I recognized that were accompanied by mouth-watering photographs.

I finally decided on Tom Yum Soup with tofu. And I told them I would want to place an order for something to take with me when I was done eating. They were very helpful.

The potstickers were sumptuous, the sauce divine. Then the Tom Yum Soup was placed in front of me, steaming hot and very fragrant. Large chunks of fresh, colorful bell pepper, tomato chunks, mushrooms, lemongrass, spring onion, were all stewing in this beautiful bowl of soup. The broth had so many layers of flavor it's hard to describe, I don't know what gives it the umame quality, but it is remarkable.

Another Google guide had reviewed this restaurant, and said it was the best Asian food in Lawton. That's why I decided to go there, and I'm really grateful that I did. I can't wait to go back with my husband so we can order several things and try them.

Ordered spring rolls and they lacked depth.
Thai boba tea was good, but again way too sweet.
Waitress was either anxious or just didn't want to be there, she was barely there.
Overall, not a great experience but we don't live here in the town this resides in, so they could be great to everyone else.

as a repeat offender of eating here, wanted to offer fellow easy eaters a place to enjoy an Asian meal. My wife and I first stumbled across Red Pepper and found a jewel in Lawton. While I am partial to the red pepper chicken (house special), my wife tends to find the Thai food particularly tasty. With each meal made to order, the food is fresh. fully recommend giving your taste buds a treat and stop by - you will be rewarded.

Good was good but not anything special, however it cost twice as much as other Asian restaurants. I paid $40 for an appetizer sample plate, two bao buns, and a drink. I wanted to try it because of the good renews, now that I have I know it is not worth the cost. I think I could go to Polly's Thai Food or Asian Buffet and be just as happy at a fraction of the cost. Even taking COVID and inflation into consideration the cost was still outrageous.

Disgusting food. Not great at all. You would have a better tasting cuisine at Sura just at 1/4 mile down the road or going to Thai Bistro down Cache. The food at Panda Express is 5 stars compared to this place.

Great food! Always quick to cook and give food for carryout. But don't understand why they're closed on Sundays

Food was really good. We were the last ones there eating before closing. The owner came over and said take your time no rush. Very sweet lady talked to us for a few minutes. She asked us how was our food. This is one of our favorite places to eat.

Eat here multiple times a week, food tastes better everytime I go! 11/10

I used to enjoy supporting this business, until THEY made a mistake on a $60 order and when I called they told me to bring the food back to be remade(I do not live close) but when I arrived they refused to remake it! She proceeded to argue that they would be at a loss if it was remade and said there was nothing else she would do and that she was the owner and could make that decision....

Poor Customer Service. They do not care if you are a regular customer or not. Spent over $30 for two small portion sized entree, one they refused to fix went in the trash my 6yo couldn’t even eat it, the other you had to pull the shrimp out of the food and peel the shells off the tails. Won’t recommend, won’t return.

Delicious, fresh and amazing food! The staff is kind and helpful and they are always smiling. This is my favorite place to eat in Lawton.
My favorite dish is the Me Ka Thang
(Fun noodles)

I know the only thing to do in Lawton is eat out so if you're looking for Korean/Asian food then look no further!! Once you try it you'll be hooked! I love everything I've tried there, from the Red Pepper Chicken/combo, Me Ka Thang, Pad Thai, appetizer sampler, Garlic Shrimp, Pho, and many other dishes.

They always have good food and delicious Thai Tea I’m grateful I’m close to this place, staff is always nice!

I was very pleased with RPR because the service is fast, fresh and absolutely delicious 😋 The people are extremely pleasant and their personality is very professional 👏 I can't speak for others but I was blown away when they allow you to pass through the door to shop at the Global Market Asian store 🤯 Excellent experience and beautiful scenery not to mention great people 👍 😀

This place use to be good. Not impressed at all with the seafood. Shrimp was old and couldn't even peel them. Stuck together and became mush. Smallest crab with very little meat. 1 corn cut in 1/2and then half of that is what you get for $30. Catfish and fries $22.00 was good but comanche casino has better pieces for half the price and a bigger portion. Regret ordering seafood from this place.

Yeah the only thing I’m in love with is charly’s sesame chicken. First time having it was in the kitchen at friendly donut shop. Thai tea is the best but it has way too much ice

Must stop in! 🍜 🦐 I've wanted to check this place out for a couple months and I finally had the time too. It was such an awesome decision! The service was fast, and the food was delicious. Their dumplings are lightly fried and wonderful, though I do prefer steamed they were great Must get the pork! I ended up ordering the Fried Noodles with Chicken and Wow it came out top notch 👌 For the speed, quality of food, and price I recommend this place to everyone in and around the area 💯

Amazing food & people!

I ordered Chicken Dumplings, Orange Chicken regular meal, and Pineapple Chicken sub Fried Rice w/egg ($3.00 upcharge) for pick up. It was definitely a disappointing ToGo experience. The Chicken Dumplings were cooked well enough so that the chicken was't "raw", but the edges were not golden brown at all, they were still stark white all over. The Orange chicken was, "okay," it was cooked well, but was just lacking something, however, the white rice (combo) was good. Lastly, the Pineapple Chicken bites were kind of slimy and soggy, but the flavor was good. I substituted the fried rice with egg instead of the white rice, however, there was virtually no egg whatsoever and the rice was definitely overcooked, which is doubly disappointing because there is a $3.00 charge to sunstitute. I only gave two stars because the young man at the counter was incredibly polite and I appreciated his service. He may be the reason I give this restaurant a second chance in the future.

Great food

Can't say enough good about Red Pepper. My wife, brother-in-law and I went in expecting the same old "General-So-So-Panda-Whatever". One whiff of what we were served killed that notion. Immediately. I wasn't in (Asian) Kansas anymore. Don't let the typical facade fool you. This is high-end cuisine well served and priced. Chantelle and the team were so very nice and kind. Refreshing. Go!

Food was amazing literally the first bite tasted like heaven. I am so happy I came to oklahoma and Fort sill to find this beautiful Gem. Right outside of post I would literally get stationed there just to go here it was that good and I am sad Im going to only be here for a short period of time. BY FAR the best Thai place I have ever been too and ive been to many trust me Ive been In Hawaii since 2018 there is a thai food place at every corner there. This place beats all of them by far. I loved it!

Seafood tasted like rotten mush, a truly unpleasant experience.

Way over priced for quality that’s no better than any other Chinese in this town was not impressed.

The staff is are the sweetest people!! Food was amazing and picture perfect! I've heard nothing but good things about them! So when my husband said I didn't have to cook, I said we were going here! It did not disappoint and I will be coming back Tuesday on a lunch date with my bff. Great!!!

Way over priced for rice and chicken. The food was okay. Not sure how fresh it was or better than any other comparable food place in Lawton. Didn’t really notice customer service. Nearly $40 for two dinners and 2 little bitty egg rolls. They are charging restaurant prices for fast food.

First time coming to Red Pepper. It was so good! Food was delicious and the staff are attentive. We will be back for sure.

After a dozen visits including today, I highly recommend Red Pepper to those wanting to try unique and flavourful asian cuisine. The chefs take on pho and asian cuisine of the surrounding styles of cooking have made each experience I have had here memorable. The staff have been wonderful, attentive, and always friendly in my experience. This is one of the finest restaurants in Lawton for a truly unique dining experience and recommend everyone to try the food here.
