Christmas Eve Miracle- sick with the flu for 4 days, unable to eat. Canned soup tasted like metal, too salty & just plain bad. Thai Phoon was open and Door Dash delivered my first real food in 4 days! PHO IS THE NEW CHICKEN SOUP! The fragrant broth was perfect! It brought me back to health!

Red Curry bowl was fantastic! It had a nice small spicy kick packed with some coconut undertones. I highly recommend giving that a try, the noodles are just so yummy.

My wife had the Wonton soup and Crab Rangoon's and gave them both two thumbs up.

Extremely disappointed with our experience. Waited 40 minutes after placing our order through door dash and went to pick our food up. Was not ready. Front employee said it wasn’t even started and couldn’t give a time for us to return either. We waited another 45 minutes and returned and one of our orders still wasn’t ready and the guy then said he figured we weren’t coming back?? Today as I finish my leftovers I find a sharp object in my pad Thai. There was a STAPLE in my food. My friend also was finishing hers and found one as well. This is really concerning and could be a dangerous situation for someone if ingested. We really liked the food from here the first time around but will not be returning due to the unfriendly staff, wait times, and concerning objects in our meals.

It’s unclear if the issue was on Uber’s end or the restaurant’s, but it ruined the meal for me. The other dishes were okay—around 3.5 out of 5. The massaman curry, however, was a letdown. It was far too sweet and lacked any spice, despite being labeled as mildly spicy. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for.

Hands down the best Thai food in this area. I eat here a few times a week. My favorites are the massman curry, summer curry, pad Thai, soup, and the coconut rice!

The last 3 times I've ordered, I had a great experience. Customer service was excellent, order was accurate, and I received my food on time. Unlike a previous time, when I was charged for food I never received.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Please give this spot a try! You won't be disappointed.

I guess the guy working tonight thinks it's ok to cuss and complain in front of a customer, because he has to walk to the kitchen and grab the order the customer came to pick up?? Am I in the twilight zone? The guy literally threw a fit because I came in at 8:35 for an order I placed at 8:05, after he quoted me 20 mins for pick up...I don't think he's cut out for this line of work.

This is NOT authentic Thai food!!!!!!! Tasted like Chinese food, very terrible Chinese food. Very disappointed in all the dishes we ordered. Especially surprised by the Pad Thai that tasted nothing like Pad Thai! Hands down the worst "Thai" food I've ever had.

The pad Thai and edamame were delightful! Walked in and ordered and service was quick and so friendly! Highly recommend

Ordered through a delivery service. Everything arrived warm, which is rare anymore. The pho is solid and it’s nice to have an option that doesn’t involve driving to the Asia town area. Basil fried rice was good, but not so much Basil. Portions were decent as well as pricing. Will try again.

I have never been here but I order Uber eats from here for my husband. I liked the food although found it different from most Thai food in America and from what I remember going to Thailand. It seems like a little bit American Chinese fusion with Thai. I don't know, I am not a food critic or expert. I just know my husband is a very picky eater but he loves Bangkok Sizzling combination.

The food was below average. Definitely needs more sauce and seasoning. Portion size was okay. They have a long way to go if they wanna be competitive with any of the other Thai restaurants nearby.

I give the red curry a 9/10, great combination with the spices and coconut milk.

I also ordered the shrimp fresh basil rolls and almost puked, which is big coming from me, i will eat anything. I give these a 1/10

Ordered delivery. When the food got here, it was still stove-top hot. That sounds great at first except the plastic containers were so hot that they were rubbery and soft. The food tasted strange and we didn't even end up finishing it. We both felt weird later. Pretty sure we ate a nice big dose of plastic chemicals with our food. Never ordering here again.

Incredibly small portions. Beef and vegetable salad - simply a small side salad with a separate container of about 1 1/2 oz of beef strips. $12.95. I felt this was very inappropriately priced. Even half this price would have been too much. I literally would have returned it and asked for my money back but I had already left and it was raining…..so I went back later to ask them if perhaps I was given the wrong portion? The owner would not speak to me. I felt robbed.

We’ve ordered from Thai Phoon or Fragrant Thai in the Uber app a number of times. The food is typically average to decent - never great but sometimes bad. We’ve struggled to find any decent Thai around here so continue to order. My biggest complaint is how long they take to prep food. As noted by other people, they are consistently late in preparing food.

The woman who took my order looked and acted like she hated her job there. So I just decided to leave.

I had an absolutely horrible experience ordering from here. I ordered from Grubhub and from the start it was downhill. Within minutes of ordering, I got a message that the food would be 20 minutes later than originally stated, not a huge deal. Then I got a text from the grubhub driver at the pickup time that the food would be 45 minutes longer to make. I thought this may be a mistake and called the restaurant. I told the man who answered that I ordered from Grubhub and he immediately cut me off and said “I’m not grubhub, I dont have time for this” and hung up on me. I wrote to my driver who said that the staff there is super rude and food is always late and when he came in and asked for the food they laughed at him and said 45 more minutes. So not only were they rude to me and ruined my night by making me wait an extra hour for food, they ruined this drivers night because he couldnt take another delivery. The food arrived bland and under-seasoned to top it off. I will not be going back to a place that treats service industry workers like garbage and hangs up on paying customers.

Stopped in and pleasantly surprised! Cashier was really nice and helpful for first timers. Ordered 4 lunch meals for $50 and there was so much food it was our dinner too. Everyone loved their meal. Tons of flavor; will definitely be back.

By far the best Thai in the Cleveland area! I love the mango curry with chicken and the coconut soup.

While the serving was generous, the food was surprisingly unpleasant. I ordered pad tai to go. I’ve had pad tai many times but never quite like this. Noodles were stuck together in chunks, were not really seasoned but had an overwhelming peanut taste. Beef tasted overcooked and completely bland. It just all didn’t really go together in harmony, didn’t feel like a cohesive dish. Really felt like I was eating just ingredients. Based on the composition of this dish, I am guessing that the noodles sat around for awhile and were continuously cooked thus stuck together in groups while the beef was cooked separately and just thrown on top. I couldn’t get through this pad tai, and just disposed of it. Perhaps it’s because this dish was put together in evening or perhaps because it was to go, but either way I will not be returning.

I've ordered here multiple times, either online or stopping by in person to wait. The service was always quick. The food has always been piping hot (temperature), flavorful, and delicious! I've tried the shrimp pad thai, tom yum soup, hot pepper, fresh spring rolls, etc. The serving size is huge! The only thing is I wish I could customize to make is spicy!

Recently moved to the Lakewood area and was sooo pleased to find a good thai restaurant near my new home! After trying many other thai places and being disappointed I can say that this spot was the best by far. The avocado curry reminded me just like the avocado curry dish I would get back home in Akron all the time! The portions are amazing, every dish tasted perfectly seasoned and was hot fresh off the stove. Will definitely be my go to spot for thai from now on!

So happy to have a Thai option that is close to our house and has never disappointed! The basil, fried rice with tofu is my favorite and the spring roll is absolutely huge.

Make sure you hear them right. Dinner prices will swamp the bill. $90 for two dinners and 2 chicken & rice with egg rolls. Never again.

Great Taste and great value: You can’t go wrong with this place if you’re craving Take-away Thai-! The dining / waiting area is also quite pleasant as well if you want to take a load off your feet, grab a bottled soda, and dine in.

The pad thai was the worst I've had. Noodles were dry with no peanut sauce or scrambled egg. Just peanuts and a lime wedge. The egg rolls were good. Biggest I've had.

wanted to try Thai Phoon and I wish I did not $25 with tip Right in the Garbage. Ordered Thai Coconut soup and Red Curry Chicken . The Thai Coconut Soup Had very little taste of anything resembling Thai I asked for it spicy the Spice level was great but NO TASTE OF ANY TRADITION FLAVORS ,missing lime lemongrass and cilantro flavors.I tried to fix by adding what tasted like was missing but could not rescue any Thai Flavors . Same Issue with the Red Curry Chicken but even worse, the sauce was not the vibrant pink to red but more reddish brown and not only missing many of the Flavors the Soup was missing BUT IT WAS ALSO EXTRA EXTRA SWEET all I could taste was the sugar with only an after taste of curry, it was truly awful. Here's hoping maby they were short staffed and had a Newby cooking but I will never know ,will not waste another $25 to find out

I stopped in by myself and ordered carry out. My order was ready in a perfectly acceptable amount of time, and my food was handed to me piping hot.

I got an egg roll because of another reviewer’s praise… they were not kidding, the egg roll is stellar. Crispy on the outside. Loaded on the inside with cabbage and pork and yum stuff. The hot mustard cleared my sinuses, and was perfect.

I also ordered green curry which was fabulous… One of the best I’ve had! Curry is a great dish to order if you want to evaluate a Thai restaurant’s bona fIdes. The curry was loaded with fresh, perfectly cooked vegetables. The curry sauce was perfectly balanced… tasted like it was made from homemade curry paste… and perfectly broken… right at that edge where just a few bits of coconut oil are floating on it like an authentic Thai curry should. The spice level was perfect for my taste, I ordered it three on a scale of 1 to 5 and it was pleasantly hot. The chicken was tender and still tasted like chicken, which can be unusual with some places where it’s over cooked, steamed or boiled, or has been sitting around too long.

There are only three tables and no table service that I could see but when the food is this good… so what?

I am looking to forward to going back and trying more things there. Excellent job, this place deserves your business.

So, after reading the glowing reviews about the deliciousness of one of my favorite dishes, Pad Thai, I decided to give it a try. What I received was anything but! The noodles were cold, sticky and tastless - the worst I have EVER tasted!

Tried this place 2 nights ago. Called in advance to see if it was BYOB and they said "yes."

Showed up with the wife and a friend around 7:30. In spite of listing itself as "dine in," it's REALLY a take out place. We found this out after ordering at the counter and were told that if you eat in, you eat out of the takeout boxes with plastic ware as utensils.

While waiting for our food we drank our wine (had to buy cups at the dollar store next door) and had a nice chat with a guy who came in to get takeout.

Although we were disappointed to take our food back home, we were not disappointed with the food.

The eggroll was, IMHO, reminiscent of the eggrolls that I loved as a child from Chinese restaurants in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The ingredients were very fresh and tasty. BRAVO. I'll be back just for them.

I got a spicy beef pepper dish that was great. My friend got a curry dish that was right there as well, and my wife got some sort of chicken dish that also was fresh and tasty.

This place is a nice addition to the lakewood Thai choices. I'll be back!

Summer rolls are an order of 2 and are to long and fall apart. I would suggest making them 3 rolls. They also stick to the container maybe add a piece of lettuce under them. Fried tofu was ok, good portion for the price. Spicy basil noodles woth tofu were great! Spicy basil stur fry what great too!! Portion sizes of entrees were good for the price. Will go again.

Got the Pad Thai for takeout and I will definitely be back. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. I’ve eaten a lot of Pad Thai all over the country in my life and this ranks among the top three.

Got the moo goo gai pan. No mushrooms. Pretty sure the translation of the word is literally "plate of mushrooms and chicken" or something like that. So was a bit disappointing.

A wonderful new addition to Lakewood. Friendly staff, great food and portion sizes, very reasonable prices. Don’t skip out on the egg roll, best I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to try the whole menu.
