A hidden gem in Aurora - Erewan is a Thai delight! In my top 3 of favorite Thai restaurants in Cleveland. We’ve been many times - both take out and eat in - and they are consistently fantastic! The food is fresh and delicious - the Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, and seafood green curry are our favorites. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great bar area, with creative cocktails as well the regular favorites. At the typical times there can be a good crowd, but will still make room for you.

Had lunch here with my folks from out of town. Atmosphere is calm and service is quick. I ordered Basil Fried Rice, Drunken Noodles (Chicken), and Panang Curry and they were all top notch perfect in sauce and flavouring in each dish. Mango iced tea and sticky rice were a great addition to desserts. Price ranges from a reasonable $10 to $$15 per main course meal. All in all, this place is definitely worth going and I recommend this Thai restaurant for anyone craving for Thai food near Aurora.

This little place is simply amazing. My wife and I have been there a handful of times and never been disappointed. The place is small and could get real busy, so best call before going. Lots of people ordering to-go. The service is great because you’re not competing with 50 other tables. Perfect for quiet date nights.

Every Thai restaurant makes their own basil fried rice. Some are good and some are not, this one was a little too sweet, but very delicious.

We came early in the evening (5:00) so only a table had customers. We ordered appetizer and Thai tea. And then so many people came in. We waited and waited and our main course had not come. We realized the other table who came later than us had food and almost finished their food. I told our waitress we were hungry and asked if our food could come asap. And we waited for another 15-20mins or so. The food still didn’t come. In total we waited was about 45mins. We finally gave up and decided to go. We went to check out our Thai tea and appetizer and complained we didn’t want to eat main course bc we didn’t feel we were treated equally. I said” we are hungry and have been waiting for long” and the owner said “how long” excuse me! And the owner explained “but you had appetizer” (meaning we should not feel hungry?) How could she say this? Firstly, my friend didn’t had appetizer and secondly, the owner should not have said “how long” Honestly, the food is not bad but I felt we were treated not good.

Worst Thai food I’ve eaten in 50 years.

Upon realizing the garnish I wanted (and was charged extra) did not come on my meal, the owner quickly made it right. Much appreciated! The food is also pretty tasty.

I love Erawan and their Thai noodle dishes are bar none— best in Ohio. I’ve had a few dishes recently that just feels like maybe a bad spur or spot in the timing. Regular pad thai has had raw bean sprouts (crunch is nice but not even cooked or steamed into it) and A LOT of spring onion that is cursorily chopped (I understand pad thai isn’t supposed to have finely chopped ingredients but man… there was probably an entire green onion in my takeout container). I’ll keep my rating a high right now but I think maybe the care is slipping just a tad.. or maybe just a few bad nights :/. Photo shows raw spring onion at top right and some cooked. Ate other 1/2. Unpleasant so had to pick around what was there.

Dined in on 8/3/2024, during the state tax free holiday. Still got charged for the sales tax. We did ask to remove the tax, got reply that they don't do it.

I had the panang curry and it was PERFECTLY spiced. The chicken was tender and juicy, the veggies crisp tender, and the scurry spot on. Medium heat was a nice kick without being overpowering.

Even though I didn’t eat at this place, I was highly impressed with the service that was offered. Being a vegetarian I’d requested a meal with no fish sauce in my online order. The restaurant promptly called me to let me know that their prepared sauces contain fish sauce as an ingredient. They cancelled my order and issued a refund. I’d we happy to try this place the moment they offer vegan/vegetarian friendly options.

Don't let the no fuss plaza or interior fool you. These guys know how to make excellent Thai food. They even have saki on tap! But do try their premium saki for a special treat. The Leche Martini really hits the spot on these hot summer days. Ice cold and lightly sweet. The owner is friendly with a passion for food & drink and it shows!

I recently found out that what they call vegetarian is not in fact vegetarian. If you don’t eat meat please beware that they put fish sauce in all of their dishes and go somewhere else.

Phenomenal food! This little restaurant packs a big punch! Every time we visit, I like to try something different and I am always amazed. My wife loves the Panang Curry and we both love the crispy rolls with the Sweet and Sour sauce. We can't wait until the Sweet and Sour sauce is available to purchase in bottles.
Everyone is always nice, and attentive and I am super impressed that they do not bring you your main dish until you're finished with your appetizer -- those are the little details that make a huge difference.

SUPERB! What a surprising treat this was! Usually, Thai food is not for me, but I was finally forced to give it a try - and let me tell you…I can’t believe how good it tasted. My family, who is addicted to this restaurant, has now got me hooked too.

The item I highly recommend without question is the “Curry Crispy Noodle” Soup - it was so delicious, that I am now a changed man when it comes to Thai food. Hands down best thing I’ve ever tasted!

You can order online of course, and was ready on time. Better yet, you can even customize the dish to your heart’s desire. I’d call the pricing a steal considering how amazing it is. I’ll be back weekly!

Num Tok Moo changed my life

Nothing to write home about. 5/10 on food, service and atmosphere. Everything was too sweet. Our party had.... sweet curry, sweet pho, sweet stir fried dishes, and extra sweet crispy curry noodles.
Service was ok. But our server basically knew almost nothing about the menu. The place was nicely decorated but so small. They put like 8 tables in a 80 sqft room.

Foremost, I ordered the crispy wontons, Needless to say to only thing enjoyable about that entree was the chili sauce! Then i ordered the chicken noodle soup, Meal was average to say the least. I really believe the chef should cut the scallions in a "bias cut" makes the dish pop more! I am paying $14 for a "above average authentic experience" Sub par at best.

Took forever to expedite these dishes, for kitchen this should be basic clock work.

The food is alright but the staff are rude to me about wanting to make sure I tip and make it seem like my life was in danger. Just something that I was not a fan of at all. Many other places in this area that have much better customer service. I should've read reviews about this place first before coming.

Been our favorite place for a few years now. Food is great however, have noticed a few minor changes in amount of food and in the preparation the last few times I've taken out and when eating in. Fewer noodles, little less sauce and up-charge for peanut sauce. Like everything prices have gone up. Post Covid cost I suppose. Still best place for Thai near Solon.
Crispy noodles my favorite. It's listed as soup but rarely has enough broth/sauce to wet the noodles. I did ask for more and received it.

Fantastic food, its so hard to try new things on the menu knowing how delicious the things I've already had are! The Basil Fried Rice is fantastic and the staff are always friendly and happy to guide new comers.

Very small Thai restaurant, but big in other ways. The staff is very attentive, and the food is outstanding! Portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. The only negative is that the Pad Thai is so good that I never try anything else!

My visit to Erawan Thai Kitchen was a disaster. The owner, maybe named Chow or Chuw, treated us terribly because we forgot to pay on time. He even made fun of our drink choices. It was the worst dining experience ever. Don't go there unless you want to be humiliated.

Your reply to my review is just making excuses for the bad experience we had at Erawan Thai Kitchen. You're not being honest about what happened, and it's not okay.

Don't make up stories about us treating your staff badly. We were there with our sister, and saying we mistreated someone based on their gender is just not true.

You're saying we changed our order for no reason, but we were new customers and didn't know the menu. We just wanted something different when the dish wasn't what we thought.

When we asked about non-alcoholic sake, we didn't expect to be made fun of. Our question was serious, and your response was not professional.

You were really pushy about us signing the bill. We didn't forget to tip; we chose not to because we felt disrespected. Your restaurant needs to learn about treating customers better.

Saying we were asked to leave nicely is not true. The owner removed us forcefully, and that's not okay.

Accusing us of racism because we misheard a name is not fair. We didn't mean to be disrespectful.

Your restaurant is lucky it wasn't busier that day, or more customers would have seen your unprofessional behavior. We won't be coming back, and our review will let others know about our experience.

We've been searching for a great Thai restaurant and we certainly found it. Tiny place that is HUGE on flavor. We had the fresh rolls which were wonderful. The Drunken Noodles and Shrimp Panang Curry were outstanding. Everything was sooo fresh and flavorful. Portion size and spice level were perfect. The staff was friendly and accommodating (shout-out to Sidney). I wish we lived closer to Erawan, but it's worth the drive. Can't wait to return for more awesome Thai food. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing small Thai place. I got Pad Thai and my wife got Pad Prik King. The food was phenomenal. The drinks were delicious. I love the small atmosphere. The waitresses and all staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend.

The host told us to sit wherever, then made us wait a long time for initial service. The server brought the wrong drink, then had to make us wait for the correct one because they were ill-prepared. While far from the worst experience I've had, I likely will not return.

By far the BEST Thai food in all of Cleveland. The customer service is impeccable and the food has been fantastic every single time. I probably get food from here or dine in at least thrice a month and the consistency has always been perfect. I have witnessed the owner stop accepting take out orders at busy times so as not to take away from the quality that the kitchen can provide to the dine in customers and that lvel of commitment to quality rather than quantity is a rare thing in today's world. The wings and fries (yes I know...wings and fries at a Thai restaurant??) are exceptional. The Garlic chicken, Moo Ping, Drunken noodles and Pineapple Sake are all 5+ stars. I've traveled to Thailand 3 times already and the food here is as good as the food in Thailand for sure. Be patient if they take a little longer with your order as everything is made fresh from scratch and mouth wateringly delicious. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu.

Just moved here from Washington State two years ago. Huge Asian influence and many delicious Thai restaurants in WA but this is the best Thai restaurant in Ohio! We have been there 4 times eating something different and every meal has been delicious! The prices are extremely good and the service is wonderful. If you enjoy Thai food or want to try something new and healthy, give this place a try and you will not be disappointed. We drive 37 miles from Eastlake 😊 so happy we found this Gem!

It’s awful.. the employees are extremely rude and that is an understatement. I love Thai food in-fact it may be some of my favorite, but the food here is just down right horrendous. I can’t believe how rude the owner is.

Best Thai restaurant I have ever been to. I was in Thailand A few weeks ago and while there I kept thinking, ‘wow erawan is still so much better.’

Ps- I ate at multiple three star michellin restaurants and erawan still knocks ut out of the park. IMO any negative review left comes from a very uncultured palette because this food is world class.

It's been such a long we found a Thai food that so close to the way my husband remembered it. He is so happy that he get to taste these delicious dishes again. Definitely a Super Star for this area.

I always look forward to the chicken wings appetizer which in the past have been delightfully crispy and delicious. Tonight, however, was a huge disappointment since they were so fatty I could not eat them. Please do not try to save money by buying a lesser quality….your restaurant is better than that!

Best Thai food in the area. Delicious drunken noodles. If you ask for spicy, they will make it spicy! The portions are a little inconsistent and they are closed on Mondays, but this is still our go to take out place.

Dissapointing. The online reviews are great but the pad thai was dry and bland. I barely ate 1/4 of the portion before giving up. I did enjoy the crispy roles although I prefer a full-size roll instead of mini rolls. Based on the pad thai, I don't think I will return.
Since then I returned and the food was great. I now frequent the restaurant.

The best Thai food I have had in N.E. Ohio. Excellent food and excellent service!

First time here and it was great! Will be our new go to place when we are in town. Waitress and staff were great and the food was amazing!

Best drunken noodles I've had in the Cleveland area, and solid, respectable spice level.

The food and service was outstanding. I can't wait to go again.
