Pretty good food. Nothing exceptional in the service. Don’t expect a red carpet to be rolled out for you. Atmosphere could use some improvement but the good taste and look of the food makes up for it. I will come back in the future.

Took off a couple of stars for service. We were in at the end of the lunch rush and were the only table. The two employees working in the dining room were on their phones and were not even scanning the room to see if we needed more drinks or anything.

Find another place. The salad and soup were good. I got the steak and scallop hibachi, and the steak was like chewing a piece of rubber, and celery in there just seemed out of place. Scallops were overcooked and tiny. Good sweet tea and good crab rangoons.

As for the food: we ordered shrimp w/lobster sauce, lo mein, pad thai and honey chicken - all lunch/dinner specials. The roast pork fried rice was tasteless. My kids barely touched it. The lo-mein was ok. It was drenched in their sauce and had a funny aftertaste. Honey chicken was ok but the breading was very chewy and had a funny taste. The shrimp w/lobster sauce was pretty good. Probably the best plate. The pad thai was underwhelming as well. Little taste. We came here on a recommedation but will probably not come back.

Worst food we have had in a long time. Cury chicken was bland,had tofu in it and was nasty, lo mean noodles were dry, and the general tso was have breading no chicken and sauce was horrible. Spring roll was mushy. Not worth the money!

Food is typically made exactly to order. We do online ordering, and it is always ready before the time frame given. Courteous and professional at check out.

We ordered shrimp fried rice, beef fried rice and spring rolls.

We would’ve been better off cooking at home as this was some of the nastiest/bland food we’ve eaten in a while. There wasn’t any salt!

The shrimp fried rice was just shrimp and yellow rice, no onions no veggies just overall dissatisfying.

This is the kind of food you eat when there is nothing left.

The sushi was not good. The avocado looked brown and old. The sushi did not taste it fresh. Also, we asked to have the eel sauce on the side and they wanted to charge us for the sauce that comes with it because we wanted it on the side because I’m allergic but my spouse is not. Absolutely ridiculous definitely not coming back to this place.

Not sure why they don’t have more stars but the food from here is ALWAYS fresh and hot. And the portion size is really great. I can tell they use quality ingredients.

food was not great at all . i ate a few bites . the “fried rice” was yellow rice . had no flavor . didnt ask how i wanted my steak . the white sauce was so thick . not to mention they have 3 koi fish in a tiny tank with barely anything in the tank . should be classified as animal abuse . just save your money and go anywhere but here …. the staff was okay .

If I could give less than 1 star I most certainly would. First of all, ordered beef & broccoli with extra sauce and everything was dry to the touch, it appeared they put MUCH less than usual because of my request for extra. Then asked for regular fried rice and they gave me shrimp fried rice… I have a severe shellfish allergy hence why I ordered FRIED. RICE. Last two times I have went the food has been dry, beef has been rubbery, and the rice has been plain. Given my shellfish allergy I had to throw my entire meal away definitely was my last straw and will not be coming back.

We used to love this place. Been going over 10 years. Its not the same anymore. The quality and flavor are not good. Prices up and portions smaller i moss the thick dumplings they used to have

I never write reviews, especially negative but I can't let this one go. I ordered chicken hibachi dinner takeout and not only was the chicken rubbery and weird textured and tasting, but the whole meal, everything except the soup was just awful. I couldn't even eat but a couple of bites and then threw it out. what a waste of $20. This has to be the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. And I'm not exaggerating. I would've given it negative stars if it was an option. So disappointed.

All I have to say is the woman that works here who is a host, answers the phone, waits on all the tables in the restaurant, who also kept smiling and still gave and did extra efforts that alot of places could learn from her. This lady was doing 5 jobs and still keeping up with all the phone calls, all her tables, and still was double checking the tables for refills and to make sure everyone got everything they were supposed to get. Amazing experience and I commend this young lady. She can be really big one day. Best service I have ever experienced my whole life! Thank you so much for giving my family a stress free night! This place is great and awesome food!

There are limited food options and even fewer GOOD options, but this place belongs at the top of the list. It's some of the best I've had.

Finally a Chinese restaurant that has white rice for their fried rice. We were so surprised when we moved here that the rice was yellow rice. And not the good yellow rice you use for chicken and yellow rice.. no taste at all ..it was just weird. Asian Gardens fried rice with chicken, pork, shrimp and vegetables. Thar is a large was 11 dollars and feeds 2 to 3. White rice had some soy sauce on it for flavor! Like it is suppose to! Great food all around! Thanks Asian Garden!

We finally found a dine-in restaurant that features traditional Chinese cuisine. They also offer Japanese and sushi dishes. We were there during lunch hours and were the only ones dining in. A few carryouts were picked up while we were there. The food was brought out quickly. The wonton soup was unusual; the broth was under seasoned, but the wonton were flavorful. We ordered General Tso's chicken and Sweet and Sour chicken. Both were good, the pork fried rice was not. It was white rice with some kind of spice added for color with bits of fried pork. It was not fried rice in the traditional manner. I've had better made from a packet from the grocery store.
There were three employees in the dining room. One appeared to be prepping food, and one was playing with her phone. The other was acting as waiter and cashier. None of them checked back after the food was delivered until he brought the check.

Worse Asian food I've ever had

This place is great for atmosphere. They have music and lots of room. They have nice dishes. The food is excellent. Crab ragoons and hot n sour soup best i have had in this area. The scallops however are imitation but what do you expect for 16.50. The reason i gave it a 4 is because workers are not really friendly. Noone smiles or says hello. I have been there about 4 times and same cold reception. Hope this will help them improve. I came back today 5/30/23. Food was pretty good. Still fake scallops. Service is terrible. They never check back on you.

The food was akin to the cheapest imaginable Chinese food. The atmosphere is nice, the food is awful. The fresh fried chicken for my dish was steamy, but the breeding was mushy and flavorless. The lomein was mushy and seasoned with what tasted just like salt. The crab Rangoon had no evidence of crab or initiation crab. This sucked

I paid for chicken when I got home it just fried bread with rice no chicken at all ..I don't know why this people cheating in food ..bad experience...very disappointed

I've been about 5 times for after workouts at Planet Fitness to eat curry beef.

Another satisfying meal at the Asian Garden. The service is always personal and the food is consistently good. We often eat here for lunch and occasional dinner. The owners are welcoming and the food is tasty. We have been frequenting he restaurant for over four years and keep going back.

They got my order wrong and they would not change it to the correct order and then when I called back they hung up on me and lied to me and said that I was speaking to the owner and hung up. When you’re spending $60 worth on something you shouldn’t settle for whatever they think they’re right about. They have very poor customer service Etiquette..

I had been a long time fan of this place, but it seems to have fallen on hard times. We stopped by for lunch, the place was dark, empty, the hostess/waitress was bored and apathetic. The food we ordered came out cold, and we couldn't figure out how we we were the only ones there. The pot sticker appetizers were too hot, they seemed like they had been cooked the night before and microwaved. I loved this place once, I will never go back.

My favorite Asian Restaurant in this area! They have consistently served me good food for years. I have dined in and gotten wonderful service and I have ordered takeout and always gotten it in the time they gave me or sooner. After ordering from them for years I often recommend this place as an easy sit-down or higher quality take-out place to my friends and family.

Synopsis: Food was incredible, service was not, but then again that's truly what you want!

My girlfriend and I ordered some takeout and sushi from New Asian Garden and could not be more pleased with the results. The food was absolutely incredible and the pricing was on par with other Asian restaurants in the area. We were looking around for a Chinese restaurant that we had not used before and when we found this one we knew we had to give it a shot.

My girlfriend ordered a bunch of different types of sushi and said they were all absolutely phenomenal. I ordered General Tso and it was delicious and absolutely packed with chicken in the container. The only reason I took a star was the preserve the high 3 star rating the restaurant currently has and to encourage others to shop here for the delicious food. Just be aware, the service is what you would want from a Chinese restaurant--brief, curt, and to the point. No fluffing up egos here.

Very poor excuse for Chinese food. All of the vegetables were undercooked. The meat was very bland. It was edible but barely and I will not be ordering from here again. Chens in franklinton is way better and just a walk up take out spot. Don't waste your time ordering here if you like good Chinese food. Customer service was ok for me but the food....bleh.

I've been frequenting this restaurant for years and have noticed a decline in customer service. Today will be my last time patronizing. I ordered black pepper chicken and specifically told the cashier to make sure my food had enough sauce on it because it has been dry in the past. When I got my food, it barely had any sauce on it. When I showed it to her, she proceeded to tell me, no it does. Then she had audacity to put her hand over my tray as she leaned it over to allow the little bit of sauce to pool in one corner. I told her I didn't want it after she touched my food. She then says I can charge you for a container of sauce. I tell her that I don't need all that sauce just the amount you give for dine in orders and I'm not going to eat it after you touched it. (She was sitting in dining room eating her food right before.) She continues on until I just tell her to please cancel my order. Customer service is key! 1st- if she had an issue with giving me the amount of sauce as with dine in orders, tell me up front. If it was going to be an extra charge, tell me up front. Then, don't put your hands all over customer's food, especially before you wash your hands. Health code violation.

I have looked for good Asian food in the area for a while now. I stopped on for lunch to day and it was fantastic! It will now be my "go to" spot. I'm so happy to have found this place.

My daughter and I got takeout today and we had wonderful food! Will visit again.

I just moved to the area and needed to find a new Chinese food restaurant. I am really glad that I found this place. Their shrimp lomein, which is my favorite, is amazing. Their prices for lunch and dinner are very reasonable. I can't recommend this place enough.

This is the second time I’ve had an issue with this restaurant. Ordered sweet-and-sour pork and they did not give me the sweet-and-sour sauce. I get all the way home and called them back. The person said they won’t refund me my money but to let them know the next time and I’ll get a free meal. I’m sure they’ll remember and take my word for it that they gave me the wrong order the first time. This is ridiculous!

Had takeout from here a few times since we moved here recently. Pretty standard Ameicanized Chinese fare, if a little more expensive for what it is.
Lost a couple stars because today tried their egg foo young. Not sure if something was off in the kitchen today, or if they actually rthink the gravy should just be mildly cornstarch thickened straight soy sauce.
No one in any Chinese takeout in all the places I've lived and visited for decades has ever done anything close to that.
It's too bad, because otherwise I would say we've had no bad food from them.

My go to place for Chinese food. It was the first place I ate when I moved to NC. The people are super friendly and I love that you can order from their website and pickup.

An excellent selection of tasty foods. This is our regular go-to spot for Chinese as this the one place you can get chicken fried rice with no onions added. We should wear a bit cheaper though.

The 3 ladies at the front counter needs more customer service skills. I paid 12 dollars for 2 cups of chicken noodle soup with green onions. I was charged an extra 4 dollars a cup after been told it would be a dollar more each cup for green onions. This was my first and probably last. No egg rolls that I placed with my order. I spent 32 dollars for my order so, please just provide me with a little better service. Forgot to add I waited 45 minutes to an hour for my order.

Great food! Calm and pleasant atmosphere. Service was a little slow to take our order but food was quick and hot and fresh. My 8 year old even had sushi and scarfed it down. I had the pad Thai which was excellent. I would definitely recommend to everyone.

One of the worst customer service and food was so dry

Sushi is buy one specialty roll and get a regular roll for free, but all 6 rolls my husband and I ordered were bland and tasteless. Not the worst sushi I’ve had but certainly not worth the price. Edamame and miso soup were decent. Sit down seating available but the rest of the restaurant has the chairs flipped up on the tables at 7pm, and they close at 9:30.

Had lunch here ate sushi, they have some different flavors. I was pleasantly surprised. Came back in the evening and ordered Singapore noodles, mmm so delicious. I came back the next night and ordered Singapore noodles again. I enjoy authentic ethnic cuisine and this is the real deal. Big thanks to your cooks !!!

Used to love their food. Unfortunately I've gotten sick after the last 2 times I've eaten food from there. Their teriyaki chicken tastes like it's been rubberized and the dumplings have been undercooked one time too many. Guess I'll have to find another place to go.

Definitely will not be going back. The staff gave the impression that this was just a job and definitely were not overly anxious to interact. The food left much to be desired. The pieces of chicken in my bourbon chicken were so small that they looked like scraps. To say that it was "bourbon" chicken was quite a stretch as there was hardly any bourbon taste at all. Then when I asked for "a little bit" of extra sauce, I certainly was not expecting to be charged an extra $3 for it. It was definitely not an experience that left me wanting to return.

I ordered carry out and received the wrong order. After driving 15 mins to go eat it I then found out it was the wrong order just to see if I can come back and get the correct order they told me they can’t do it. Then I said okay well I would just take a refund, & they also told me no refunds. Wouldn’t recommend, customer service was terrible. Never seen a restaurant that won’t correct a mistake.

The food was AMAZING. We had Thai green curry chicken and Hunan shrimp. Both dishes were fantastic. All the ingredients tasted Fresh. The staff was friendly. Casual dining, but slightly upscale (nicer settings). Will absolutely be dining here again when in the Raleigh area.

Why do all the Chinese restaurants around here think they have to add a cup of sugar to most dishes!?? Only the hot and sour soup was good. The lo mein was okay but too salty and the most obscenely sweet dish was the chicken garlic sauce. Do they think Americans only like sugar or salt?

Very pleased with the quality of the sauces in the dishes. Had the sesame sweet and sour and General tso. All cooked to perfection! Definitely gonna be my go to spot when I’m craving Chinese 😌

Good americanized chinese, always fresh and flavorful. Highly suggest swinging in if you're in the area.
