Champa Thai & Sushi offers a nice dining experience! The food was delicious, especially the noodles. If you love noodles, be sure to order the fresh ones—they're an additional cost but absolutely worth it. The beef noodles were my favorite. The sushi was incredibly fresh and flavorful, making it a must-try. While the curry dishes were just okay, the overall experience was great. I’ll definitely be coming back for those amazing fresh beef noodles. Highly recommend!

I ordered what I thought was fried rice for 13.99 but was actually charged an additional $3.00 for broccoli. I had more of the vegetables than actual fried rice. All of my vegetables were not cooked thru. My husband had the Lo Mein and they charged him an additional $3.00 for broccoli as well. The menu is a little confusing to these additional charges. We did try the Sake flight which was good.

The rolls here are excellent and taste incredibly fresh. Our server, Kenny, did an outstanding job and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The "Julia" and "Sin City" rolls were particularly delicious. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and while we only tried the sushi, we would trust the quality of anything else they serve.
Each sushi roll we sampled was a delightful mix of flavors and textures, showcasing impressive variety within every bite. The restaurant manages to feel upscale and sophisticated without being overpriced, creating a refined yet accessible dining experience.

This was definitely worth it. The sushi was amazing, and our hostess was amazing also. The Pangang curry duck was really good. The larb kai salad was great as well. Not too busy as we were seated right away. There are tons of amazing selections to choose from. Will be returning again in the future.

Phenomenal restaurant. Food is great, service great, the vibes of the staff and restaurant as a whole are, great. We always get the sushi for 2 and on my last trip I really needed to know what some of the nigiri sushi's were because sometimes we want to order an extra side roll and despite it being like a really busy Saturday night, one of the servers ( might have been the manager? ) Told me that they would take a picture of the rolls, write down my number and get back to me. Check back a couple hours later and they definitely did get back to me. Absolutely love you guys.

I've been coming to Champa for 21 years. It's consistently good. It's low key. I love it for lunch. My favorite items are their Panang Curry and Pad Prik. I do detest the parking situation at Brier creek but that isn't their fault.

The chicken Pho rice noodle dish was INCREDIBLY GOOD. So much flavor 🤤. I literally dream about it sometimes. And if you go to this restaurant and are lucky enough to get Jenny as your waitress then you'll have the sweetest waitress ever. She awesome 😎.

Absolutely delicious!!! Big fan of authentic Thai spice and yummy chilled sake - Champa slays both of these. Great house entree recipes with loads of variety, and nothing tastes pre-made. Would def come back.

This used to be a staple restaurant for me when I live near Brier creek. I went back recently to meet with a friend for dinner. We were a little later in the evening. The food was very slow to come out. The waiter was apparently a little miffed when only one of us wanted drinks and the other one had food. They were unprofessional and understaffed. The sushi was adequate the drink was not to my friend's liking. I think this is sadly now at best a 3.

To say the least the music was the best part of my meal. Something about having the melody of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” while eating mediocre sushi was surely a unique and interesting dining experience. If you are in need of a restaurant that leaves you questioning your life choices this is the spot for you!

I am a huge Thai cuisine fan and always make sure to include atleast once during trips.
If your server is not good, not patient and not knowledgeable, you will not be able to cherish any food.
Our Thai Basil came without Basil in it and when I questioned it - I was told, they put it before so it is not seen 🤭. He kept denying what was ordered time and again and told us that we did not say it.
The owner tried to correct one dish but rest remained the same.
We did pay 20% included gratuity as we had a bigger group.

Champa is the bomb

I recently had a Bento Box for lunch as a first time guest. The manager was very accommodating to an issue/question I had. I appreciated the above and beyond level of service I received. I feel confident in saying that if you just ask, they believe in taking care of their customers. Based on this experience, I would return and recommend this restaurant to others.

Stpped in for lunch for first time in 6 years. They no longer serve the salad and soup with lunch. And prices have almost doubled. Still good quality food but not the service it once had.

It was good the food was decent but i liked it. The restaurant is beautiful but it’s dim. I got orange chicken the portion was ok but it was good. If you order the thai tea be aware its SUPER SWEET.

The sign of a well-run restaurant is when they own up to their mistake and fix it without blaming the customer. While I live in Denver, I visit Champa Thai when I am here on business. I’ve been a loyal customer for 5+ years. I placed an order in the restaurant that was a to-go order earlier today. When I got home, the order was incorrect. I called Champa Thai and explained the situation. They re-made the order and delivered it. No blame. No charge for the replacement order. Delivery was quick. And they apologized for the error. I will continue to eat here and would encourage you all to support this restaurant as well. Thanks for reading. And thank you Champa Thai.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night without a reservation so I had to wait 15–20 minutes to be seated which wasn’t bad. We had various entrées and they were all good portions and very tasty. The only downside was our server was not welcoming and when paying, he became almost annoyed at one of the guests in our party, because they wanted to pay with Apple Pay. Other than that really enjoyed our dinner!

I came here with my siblings we absolutely LOVED it!! 10/10 recommend. Teaw was our server she is the sweetest person ever we will definitely be asking for her when we come back which will be very soon!

It’s been a while since I’d been here but that needs to change. The Drunken Noodles are awesome. Thai Basil and ALL of the Thai Curries - AMAZING. And my wife says that the BEST cocktail she’s ever had is from here - the Ginger Basil Mojito. And she’s right - best cocktail I’VE HAD TOO!!

Wow! This is a great place for lunch or dinner. I love their drunken noodles. My wife enjoys the red curry chicken dish. Everything is so good. The support staff are great and attentive. We heard the sushi is excellent! This is a must in Briar Creek.

I ordered the Thai Basil with pork. The sauce and vegetables were delicious, but the pork itself had no flavor at all. My husband ordered one of the fried rice with beef, and he stated that his beef was also flavorless. Gave it 4 Stars because the waitress was great, and the outdoor seating was pretty and relaxing.

Tonight we ordered Pad Thai (always order it here because, traditionally it has been one of the best I’ve found in Raleigh) and Orange Chicken.

The Pad Thai which we ordered “mild” was flavorless.

The Orange Chicken which we ordered “medium hot” had no orange flavor and was so spicy that my Texas husband could barely eat it.

I don’t know what’s happened here but we were very disappointed. Not sure if we will return and I’m very hesitant to recommend them.

Ordered online for pickup. Food was just “ok”. Had chicken pad Thai and yellow curry chicken. The crab angels had so many scallions they were inedible. Still looking for some good Thai food near brier creek.

This spot is a surprise. Their menu is extensive and they seem to deliver with taste and quality I must say. Portions is incredible, come with an appetite or a to go box. My only complaint, which now has me taking my business elsewhere is the service. Unfortunately in my experience I have not once had great service.
I've waited for well over 10 minutes be free walking out after being seated as no one came to even bring me water. The other two times my server forgot that she had me in her section as I was waiting for my food which I clearly saw sitting at the sushi bar for a long time. Just keep that in mind.

Good thing about this place is that you are not limited to sushi only. You can get a selection of vegetarian dishes, sea food options, fried rice, noodles, salads, and soups.

I'm sad to post this review because reading the other reviews, this is apparently "authentic" Thai food? Then I guess I've become too used to non-authentic Thai because this food wasn't good. Maybe because I ordered delivery? The flavors were just not good, not like the Duck Basil and fried rice I've had in the past. I only ordered here because Thai 55 canceled my order, so I won't be reordering any time soon.

If you don’t mind spending extra $$$ then you may enjoy this place. One dish is a large portion for one person so splitting some dishes is a good idea.

The worst drunken Noodles I've had in North Carolina, not at all stir fried only steamed noodles served with boiled veggies with sauce. Put some effort in your cooking. Decent Pork Dumplings.

The food was very disappointing. Sweet and sour sauce very sweet. Daughter ordered the Pad Gateem. After tasting one spoon full she said it was horrible. She asked to change/exchange for the veggie fried rice. The server told her that they still may charge! Like WTH! Needless to say, they did not charge her for the Pad Gateem. However, her veggie fried rice was flavorless, no spices. Horrible. Both rice plates were overcooked. Oh, if you ask for duck sauce it is a charge. Personally we spent over $100 and can't get duck sauce for free. We will never go back. Menus were dirty.

Open air atmosphere makes for exciting but noisy encounters. My Bah Mee noodles were delish, although not heat hot. Plenty of spice here, but I prefer my temperature from the stove. My sister enjoyed Red Curry and her's was too hot to eat (stove and spice). The coconut shrimp were wonderful. I didn't try the sushi this time, but a table of gentlemen ordered a platter of assorted rolled and REALLY seemed to enjoy them.

Sushi was great. Really enjoyed the food and the lady who served us was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were happy.

If you want amazing Thai food, this is a MUST. This is me and my boyfriend’s go-to spot for spicy and delicious food! Great food, welcoming staff, and range of spice… SERIOUS SPICE! They also bring out a spice rack so you can adjust the spice to your liking. Thai Hot: it’s HELLA spicy but not bitter… indeed, you can enjoy the flavors of your meal with the spice. If you do not have a high spice tolerance, DONT get Thai hot. Always an option to get it spice free.

This is an excellent place for a date night or a special occasion, but can easily be a spot that you just walk into. The ambience is beautiful and the service is very efficient and quick! The Penang curry, and the coconut soup were to die for! And the drunken noodles was addictive. There's plenty of parking, so that's one less thing to worry about!

Thai food is not authentic

Only tried the Thai menu so can't comment on the Japanese part. Thai food here is below average in my opinion. The only thing I thought was decent was the crying Tiger Salad. It had a good balanced flavor and the steak was cooked well. The Penang Curry was extremely sweet and not good at all, and didn't get nearly enough pieces of duck for the price. The Pad See Ew was ok, could use some for salt or fish sauce. Overall nothing special here.

This is going to become my new low-key spot!

Moved to the brier creek area and was really hoping to find good local Thai food. Sadly, we have tried this place several times and it has disappointed us every time. Usually I am not one to knock minor mistakes but some of these I had to share. As someone who is of SEAsian decent, I know these flavors, I know what they should taste like. The noodle dishes lack the robust herbaceous and well rounded flavor you find in Thai food. Three areas that really messed up the last experience, 1) the kitchen gave me sweeten coconut sticky rice (dessert kind) as my entree rice with my meal. 2) the meat and quality of the beef entree was like chewing on leather. It took about 2-3 mins to chew each piece so this cut of beef was not meant for this dish and 3) the flavor of everything was off. I asked for spicy hot and it barely had any flavor. I added more chilis at home since there was barely any. Sadly, this will probably be the last time we visit since the overall experience is just OK.

We loved the food. The thai shrimp curry was delicious. We had the mild spicy version and i would recommend mild for all items if you cannot handle too much spice. We had fish appetizer and kung pao in medium. Both spicier for me yet very tasty.

Very decent sushi spot! My usual sushi go-to in the area is Tasu, but I wanted to switch it up. I ordered gyoza, a few specialty rolls, and the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The gyoza and sushi was very decent! I wouldn’t get the pineapple fried rice again however, not my fav. I will say it’s a little pricey in my opinion (paid about $60 for two people for takeout). Not sure if they do BOGO sushi rolls for dine-in, but would definitely be the only reason to go back anytime soon!

Champa Thai & Sushi restaurant is clean and it has a very distinct Asian ambience. The service is great and the food very delicious. When we came here for lunch, it’s full pack. A lot of people coming in and everyone seems enjoying the food. Indeed, it’s a nice place for family. I like my Pad Thai. The price is fair. You must come to enjoy it yourself. Highly recommended.

I’m an airline pilot that came in from out of town at 9 pm. I didn’t have anyway to order sushi so I called them up and they took my order over the phone and the manager or owner delivered it to my hotel! You can not find better service anywhere! The sushi was great also!

Chef here make the plate look like art. The food is just delicious and the menu is one of the most extensive I've ever seen. If you can't find something here to suit your tastes it might not exist. Plenty of vegetarian options and every bite is delicious. Service was excellent.

We were able to get a table for 7 individuals on a very short notice. The server was nice, a lady brought us complimentary edemame for us to share as we were waiting for our food to arrive. We also received a slice of cake for our birthday child.
I had the bento box which allowed me to sample various items from the menu.
Thanks for everything, we had a good time, will be back in the future.

As always Champa delivered an amazing experience. Authentic Thai with great sushi. This place is the real deal locally owned and operated. Would recommend to anyone in Raleigh/Durham area.

Sushi / shashimi is definitely on the pricier side. The biggest criticism is their food being too sweet, and could form an awkward taste combination with their 'Spicy' option. Don't expect authentic Asian food, or you may be disappointed.

The good: Staff is friendly and has a great atmosphere overall. The place is decently crowded but delivers in reasonable time.

The food was good enough to come back, the atmosphere is okay nothing mind blowing. What was disappointing was our waitress. She was bossy, and I have to say rude. She brought the food and while we were eating plopped the check down. Management might want to give her some training.

I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, and I got Tofu and some chicken. The chicken is flavorless and dry, and there's barely any onions and scallions. It's cheap quality for the price charged, but go ahead and take your chance. It might be a different experience for all of you. Take care all!

Very efficient. Quick turnaround. Delicious food.

I ordered the sake flight - it was the special. They were slightly sweet but I sipped them. $6 for the flight.

I ordered the Udon noodle soup, medium spice, with tofu.

The soup was delicious. I'd probably order without the tofu next time. The onion rings and shrimp tempura had very Keke flavor though.

Generous portions. I definitely couldn't eat it all.

Food is great, place is clean, staff is spot on.

Overall I give 4 rating for food. Just because I had better thai food than here before.

Food was very bland and seemed like they don't really care about the quality or taste of it. Sushi was ok but the Thai dishes were a huge let down. Definitely won't be back.
