Food came out on time and hot. Taste was on delicious and spices were perfect.
Atmosphere was chill and you can come in a quick bite and a drink at the bar.
Service was good. The waiter had a good knowledge of the dishes and gave us excellent options to choose from.

Large portions, flavorful food, reasonably priced. I went there for the first time two weeks ago. I ordered the bang bang shrimp with a side of fried rice, sushi and drunken noodles. They have a sushi special buy one get one free, if you purchase a drink. I ordered a can juice and I highly recommend. The drunken noodles comes with an already made sauce, it’s more on the spicy side. Very delicious!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! This was absolutely horrible!!! We just picked up our order (6/5/24). We spent $100 for 4 meals. Each of our dishes cost about $20 plus we had 2 eggrolls & 2 shrimp spring rolls. The pictures are 2 shrimp & chicken stir fries. It was 90% onions & watery broth. The food was not seasoned at all, the shrimp was NOT de-veined & WAY overcooked. The combo lo-mein was super dry & barely had any meat. Even the eggrolls were bland. For $100, I could've went to P.F Changs, where I know the food is decent. Hell I could've went across the street to the mall or Japan XO, where the plates are good & only $10. I wanted to give another business a chance. Everything except one meal (bourbon chicken) went to the trash because of the food quality. But with inflation going on & my family only eating out once a week.....this was a complete waste of money & our one day of takeout.

Red Bowl is an old school restaurant! I have been eating their food for the past few years and they have always been very consistent with their flavors. I have tried most of their dishes and I have always been pleased with their food. At times service can be a bit slow but it's worth it. A great take out place too! Their dishes are fairly big and there is enough food for two people or a hungry person!!! I'll highly recommend it 🔥🔥🔥

Terrible SLOW service! We waited 90 minutes for our food to finally arrive in a restaurant that was about 20% occupied and were charged an automatic 18% tip for our family of 5 (1 child 11 and 1 child 6). Our waiter would only emerge from the kitchen about every 10 minutes so we finally asked the greeter to tell our waiter we wanted to order after we’d been waiting 50 minutes. Also, teacup had a dirty mark on rim. When we asked for a new cup, waiter claimed it was “natural” before bringing a new cup at our insistence that didn’t have the ‘natural’ marking. Food tasted fine, but not worth the wait.

don’t ever go to this place !!! service was horrible our waitress was very rude . We asked for plastic spoon our server kept walking then turned around and had a nasty attitude and response .. the waitress didn’t check up on us at all . I've been eating here for 15+ years! The food is ALWAYS delicious! Especially the Mongolian beef. And, their Sangria is really good, too Buttttt, unfortunately, the service has never been good. The servers always seem so miserable and are very unwelcoming. It definitely makes it uncomfortable. I just keep going back because the food is so good.

We like the food at the one in Cary but the service is terrible. So we drove up to give this one a shot. First off they are severely understaffed. The servers were working as hard as they could from what we could see, way better than the Cary place where they stand around or stand in the back. However we had to wait 40+ minutes for our food. When it came out it was not the same food as at the Cary location. It was downright terrible. My bourbon chicken the chicken was cut small and overcooked. My wifes kung pao chicken tasted like it was straight out of a microwave and was lukewarm. Skip this palce at all costs.

I have been coming here for years. Their lunch specials are a great deal, as they include an egg roll or spring roll (my favorite). Food is always freshly prepared and service is quick and efficient. I have yet to try something I didn't like, and I've tried a lot on the menu! Delicious and the prices are very reasonable.

We had a generally good experience. The food in general is ok. Not as much spice as we'd like, but it's an American chain so that's expected. The big issue we had was with the automated tipping. The 6+automated tipping is listed as 18%. Some of us were charged the 18%, but some of us were charged 24%. If you're not checking their math, that can add up to quite a bit.

Muy rica la comida

The sushi was okay . Not very flavorful. But the prices are very good .I sat at the bar and received my beer and that's it from the bar tender . My server was very nice , I wish I could remember her name so I can recommend her . But even when i walked in the hosts seemed confused as I had to ask them for a table after a moment of hesitation from both girls... Maybe they thought I was a hobo... I was coming from a long road trip and i looked positively ridiculous in all my tie dye. Oh well maybe it was close to closing or an off day . I will try again , looking like a well to do citizen ,maybe I will get better treatment from the staff. Anyways thank you to the server who was kind to me :).

I came back with a large group of people from a church and I have a much better experiance. The food was great and came out quickly . My server was awesome and really funny . Much better experi ance that time around

So stingy. Never waste your money here. No flavor. Fried rice was just white rice soaked with soy sauce. Cashew shrimp is barely steamed vegetables with 6 TINY shrimp. Eel roll has the THINNEST slices of eel I ever saw. One piece had no eel. Horrible horrible don’t come here, so cheap and stingy

This was out first time at Red Bowl, and I have to say we found our new favorite Asian restaurant! The atmosphere was inviting and well decorated. The service was out of this world. The food, incredible! We had spring rolls, and the Royal Dish. Both we exploding with flavor and cooked to perfection. If you haven't tried this place yet, what are you waiting for?

The food is usually very good the times I have eaten here in the past. However, I have come less and less because the service gets worse and worse due to having less and less staff working. How can management expect 1 person to wait on ALL tables AND the bar at the same time?????

I haven't been here in a while and I won't be back. The fried rice had a smokey burnt flavor. The sesame chicken was actually pretty good. The worst thing was the sushi rolls. One of them wasn't even the right roll, the other one had tempura that was tough and chewy and not warm, like it had been kept in a steam table or frozen and thawed. It was gross and not edible

Ordered from here on doordash and was really happy with my meal. The sesame chicken was delicious, not too chewy and had a great sauce on it. Will be coming back again!

Nice-looking on the inside with a really pretty fountain near the entrance. My food was definitely fresh, the veggies had that little bit of crunch that lets you know they weren't stir-fried to death. Our server was attentive and anticipated our needs.

I waited 35 min for my food, and all I ordered were 2 egg rolls. The place was practically empty. I usually order more bit i was on a 15min break. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I wont go back anymore

It is always a good time when I visit Red Bowl. My favorite sushi is the Double Trouble, which has salmon, white tuna, crab, shrimp, black pepper, and jalapeno, and it's fried. I love it! Very flavorful. We also ordered the bourbon chicken, which was good as well. Red Bowl is always a place where I will continue to go back.

I'm not sure why it is so difficult to get this restaurant to answer the phone! I made reservations for a large and called the day before to confirm. My first call I was put on hold and finally hung up after more than 2 minutes without anyone returning. My second call was picked up but no one answered. My third call got a busy dial tone. This does not bode well for a place where I'm holding a farewell gathering. I will keep you posted.

Great food, and loved the atmosphere!

My husband and I have been dining here for almost a decade. It used to be one of our favorite places. We love the bogo sushi. We even had our wedding rehearsal dinner here about 8 years ago...but I feel it's gone downhill since the pandemic. The portions are huge for entrees, but lacking in flavor. I tried my daughter's chicken fried rice tonight and it was just bland. I tried my other daughter's spicy mango chicken and while it had more flavor, it was a bit watery. We ordered a ton of sushi for our large family and I could tell they rushed to make it so a lot of the rolls fell apart. I would have rather waited longer for sushi that was made well. My toddler's chicken nuggets was one of the best things I tasted tonight, and that's sad. I did like the appetizers we ordered. They were quite good...the Thai herb calamari and the jalapeno crab bites.

Also, after being a fairly loyal patron for a decade, I don't appreciate that gratuity has been automatically added to our check the last two times we dined here. They didn't used to do that. I firmly believe in tipping well for good service, but not having the choice of tipping and how much doesn't sit well with me.

I will say, our service tonight was good, despite it being a busy dinner shift. Our waitress was very sweet and very attentive. I appreciated her very much. But the forced gratuity has me thinking we will start looking for a new spot. $216 bill (with $40 in forced gratuity) for half rolled sushi and bland rice just ain't it for me...

Have been a customer for years. Sadly quality is in the trash and even safety. My whole family got sick from eating food there. Would highly advise to avoid. I believe the culprit was the rice.

Had my birthday lunch here today, it was 11 of us. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful!!! One of my favorite places!

The staff was rude and impatient with us! Therefore, the service was extremely slow. Many people left because of the service. We even had to ask the staff to clean the tables.

Great place for dinner, wide variety on the menu. Able to seat large crowds. Fried rice wasn’t the greatest I’ve had but it wasn’t awful. Sushi was good, similar tasting to grocery store sushi. Service was great, waitress was very kind and helpful with ordering

Hands down this was the best! The shrimp egg rolls was the great, and the Singapore the best I have ever eaten if u like Singapore please try it here it didn't disappoint!!

We do love to go there for the sushi rolls. Quite a variety. I love the Farmers roll and the Kodo roll and my appetizer is spicy crab salad. 🦀 Hubby and I were there with another couple and everyone happy with their dishes. We have been going there off and on for years.

DINER BEWARE - I ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken for dinner and only got 2 pineapple chunks and 2 tiny chunks of red bell pepper with chicken. I requested more of the pineapple and red bell pepper. I was told that the manager in Raleigh determines how many pineapple and bell pepper you get with the meal AND to request more would cost me $4 --- $2 for bell pepper and $2 for pineapple. I consider that price gouging, but the waitress said the Raleigh manager sets the price. So basically when you order Sweet & Sour chicken you get fried chicken with the sauce and a garnishment of bell pepper and pineapple. So ridiculous!!!!

I use to love this place but the last couple of times eating here the food has been awful. Nothing fresh, chicken is hard and tasteless. The noodles weren’t seasoned all the way through, get to the middle and there’s nothing seasoned, just bland food!!!! What happened😩 did owners change or cooks or everything😮 I will not be eating here anymore, ordering nothing or ever suggesting anyone to eat here!!!!

This is the second time I came to the Red Bowl, and I remember feeling dissatisfied after the first one. The sushi has interesting combos with mango, and of course, it's pretty. My sons got Hibachi and another plate that they described as "bland." The primary reason I wasn't happy is because the waiter did not explain pricing well, even when we asked. They had a New Years BOGO special for sushi, but I assumed it would be calculated per plate, not per table. The two cheapest rolls were discounted. Had we known, we would have strategized to order different rolls to get the best deal. Two days later, we went to a sushi place in Wake Forest that clearly articulated their policy on the menu. Customers need to know what to expect, and when they inquire, the server should articulate it. Although the Red Bowl is over priced, my actual complaint is about the misleading, deceptive way they offered a "special," and didn't communicate it. With so many sushi restaurants available in the Triangle, I intend to skip this one as a less-than-ideal experience that isn't worth the cost.

I went in today after the gym and ordered to go Bourbon Chicken. There was a nice young lady who was super polite and the place looked really nice. When I got home (5 min drive) i got about 3 bites into my meal before I felt the need to immediately drop my fork and go write this review... I rarely write food reviews unless im inspired on a deep level. This is by far the worst meal I have had in many years. It was like they took old refrigerated chicken , threw it into a wok with an onion and a pepper which was barely cut up.. massive chunks... for around 5 seconds , poured into a to -go bowl and then someone poured a cup of water on it. I am not exaggerating when I say this. This was the nastiest food I have had in a LONG time. The massive onions were RAW as can be. The peppers as well. The chicken was CLEARLY old and tasted like stale fridge. I do not know what happened. This cannot be what they typical serve because this place would get 1 star reviews on average. I will 100% never go there again. I wish I doordashed this because At least I could complain and get my money back but instead i just dumped 16 dollars into my trash can. I am not trying to be mean but I felt compelled to share my experience. You are better off eating LITERALLY anywhere else. Mcdonalds tastes better. The worst reviewed chinese food take out place in the city tastes better. This taste like something I wouldnt feed my dog. Why is it SO WATERY?

The fried rice was cold and tasted old as well. However, my waitress was nice. I sent my order back and ordered sushi & egg drop soup. The soup was flavorless and the sushi was just ok. I will not be returning back.
