I have been to Chiang Mai in Pfafftown, North Carolina on numerous occasions. Each time I have had a delicious dining experience. I have sampled many dishes, sushi included. Some of my favorites are the crispy chicken with spicy peanut sauce, Pineapple fried rice ( I like them to add a little spice for a nice twist) and Nam Prig Paow. And I have always enjoyed the sushi options that I have gotten.

The staff are another wonderful addition to this experience, the owner is a very hands on guy and is always helping the staff and customers, greeting tables and ensuring the experience was excellent in all faucets.

Not only is this great Thai food, but it is also a fantastic restaurant in general.

Had a great first meal here thanks to the super helpful and friendly staff! I haven't had Thai curry before and they gave a great recommendation (the red curry) which came with a generous portion that was much appreciated. Everything was priced well and with the nice atmosphere, I'll definitely be returning to try their sushi and other foods.

We've been coming here for years and it's become such a place of comfort. I try to order something new pretty often and the best thing I ever had was their Mongolian beef. They have so many tempting offerings that I'll occasionally plan my order for our next visit before I've left the building. For instance, next time I'll get the sizzling flounder. I sampled my husband's last time and it was awesome. It hard to go wrong here and the family that owns and operates this business are genuine and kind.

Good sushi but it's not always consistent. Sometimes I get good fat sushi rolls, other times the rolls are skinny or have too much rice/not enough fish.

This place is amazing. We had a party of 5 on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated quickly, and our server was attentive and cool. Our meal was served quickly and was both hot and delicious. We also tried the plum wine - cold sake. All we can say is Anazing. My husband is Cuban, and he raved about everything he tasted. Excellent service, awesome staff and the regulars are a fun group. It's definitely a great place to gather, eat and enjoy!

This has been among my favorite places to eat for several years. The lunch menu offers a large variety of inexpensive options that are a great value for the generous portions of made to order menu. If the consistently delicious food were not enough, what really places this restaurant above the others in the area is the friendly, and welcoming individuals cheerfully greeting each person as they arrive; often by name!

When you stop by, be sure to try the Chicken Sa-Tay from the side menu. These fresh chicken skewers come with a dish of pickled onions and a sauce with ginger to add a little more flavor to the grilled skewer.

You allow orders until 8:15 and I ordered before that time. Also as far as losing money. I called 10 times before 9 with no answer to see what was happening and if I could get my food. I don’t know how you can claim not to have signed up when o ordered from you on their platform

I had the Pear Salad which is decidedly sweet and offset it with the Caterpillar roll. My spouse had the salad with tender steak and plenty of ginger. Our server was new.

Food was horrible. Threw it away after 1 bite. The worst drunken noodles I’ve ever had. It smelled like old cigarettes and tasted extremely bland. The satay chicken was dry and overcooked. The 1 oz. side sauces were good but couldn't save this food. Customer service was not good either. I wasn’t greeted or thanked. They literally just swiped my card and walked away. It was weird.

First time myself and wife ordered there and came home and found hair in my rice .. couldn’t even enjoy my meal after spending a nice amount l. Of course it was closed by the time I got home and I ordered hibachi and didn’t even receive hibachi sauce. So after spending my money there and couldn’t eat because I had a hair I ended up spending more money and eating cookout !!

The ambiance was nice and chill. We got the sushi, drunken noodles, and curry. The sushi was decent. The drunken noodles were seasoned well but the chicken was a little dry. The curry was served in a generous portion with a nice amount of meat, but the flavoring was just average.

I think, and have been told by a few Thai natives that it is the best. Go for the red curry, 4 star on the heat! The pineapple rice is a favorite of mine but with that said, I love everything I have eaten there. The spicy tuna rolls are on point too.

First time eating there. Ordered the soft shell crab appetizer. Which was delicious. We (Husband and I) also ordered the steak snd shrimp hibachi which was basically 4 small shrimp and 4 tiny pieces of steak which was so tough we didn't even eat it. The staff was very nice to say the least but for almost $50 plus we even left a hefty tip. It was hardly worth the cost. I work in the restaurant business and I realize it's not the server's fault when the food is sub par. Which is why we still tipped. I've been looking for a good hibachi/fusion restaurant since I moved to NC a few months ago. I'm super disappointed this wasn't it.

Their Street noodles were absolutely delicious the spice was just right and everything was perfectly balanced. A few pieces of sushi really brought the meal together!

This review is solely based off of their customer service. We tried several times to call to place an order, but no one picked up. When we walked in and mentioned their phone issue - with attitude and zero remorse, they said they took the phone off the hook because they were busy. This confused me as the place was empty. As we started to order and make adjustments to our food, we were met yet again with attitude and corrections about the meal we were ordering. As I started to order sushi, I was cut off told it would take an hour. At this point I exited the building and took my business elsewhere. Do not recommend.

OMG! I can honestly say this has been my favorite find for food recently. My daughter loves sushi and this is in our neighborhood!

Came after calling to make sure we could have the large sushi boat and allergies accommodated for my childrens birthday dinner. As I sit here with my family we are told that neither reason why we came here will be able to happen. 100% disappointed

Food was bland, and severed on dirty dishes. I just sat and waited (while they talked about us in a language I did understand) till they gave us a almost $200 bill for a completely disgusting "meal".

Next call is to the health board.

Food took well over an hour to be ready, hot appetizers were cold, and sushi was all covered with a sweet sauce? Very disappointing.

This restaurant is superb. They have lots of gluten free options. I had shrimp and scallops with mixed veggies.

I went and spent $65 on this mess.. the spring rolls are gross, the filling was mushy.. the shumai are flavorless.. the gyozas and crab packages are ok.. the crab packages are actually decent.. the soy sauce noodles, were ok.. not the thick noodles I was expecting.. the sushi……… one of the rolls has sooooooo much rice and barely anything else.. the other was ok.. just an OK place, not worth the 65 I spent
