Familiar Chinese & Thai dishes, plus more adventurous Sichuan fare, in a subdued Asian-style room.
I wanted to find a Chinese "restaurant" with table service and Google took me here. It's a small dining area and a very gracious host. They also offer carry-out service, as was occurring during our meal. The host was attentive and our wait was short. The portion sizes were huge. I ordered the Orange chicken (which was surprisingly very red when delivered). Great taste, mild spice. Chicken was crispy with a soft center. Same for the Sweet n Sour chicken we ordered - only it came with one sweet sauce, which was not enough to cover all the chicken. These two dishes were more than enough for the two of us. Fair prices and lots of dishes to choose from, including Thai. There's a kid menu, but the two dishes were enough to share.
We were there on 12/20/24 it was crowded we had to wait 10 minutes outside due to very narrow space. After coming to the table. Server took our order. We order magnolia ck. It was all raw onion bearly any piece of chicken. Also, other food was disgusting. No flavor, we order 3 dishes and only got small bowl of rice. We left everything like that. Came home without food. We do not recommend to anyone.
Have been here more than 20 times. Important things first: The chili oil is awesome (if they would sell it in jar I would buy them every week). The crab rangoons are surprisingly very very good (it's the sweet kind). Szechuan food is very good and couple dollars cheaper than other places. Thai food also pretty good. Lunch deals are very very good.
If you live nearby and this is your go-to Chinese takeout place, you are lucky.
Owners and servers are nice and polite. Recommended dishes: Kung pao chicken (also available in lunch set), Szechuan lamb dishes, boileld beef in Szechuan sauce, , Thai chicken in red curry, chong qing spicy chicken, bok choy -- in fact, most items are prepared very good and tasty.
Chengdu 7 and Super Wok probably has slightly tastier Szechuan food , but the very reasonable pricing, and having Thai food options make it a five-star place.
Food is always served in a quick manner.
I had C&T delivered and it was excellent! I had the coffee popcorn chicken, which is a really interesting flavor. While not the same, it's a similar type of experience as a mole sauce. Highly recommend. I also had the 5 Spice Pork Belly, which was just wonderful. The sauce is very savory and goes well with rice. The pork belly was cut in actually bite sized pieces, unlike a lot of places that leave it too large. The spicy crispy fish is delicious enough to eat cold as leftovers. I love the sichuan shoestring potatoes...so sour and crispy. That isn't a familiar experience for westerners, but I adore it. They gave plenty of rice with the meal for no extra charge, something that has become an issue in my area. I think that the prices were very reasonable in comparison to portion size. I've yet to finish this order and I already want to order more - definitely some lamb next time.
My first time but definitely not my last time dining here. The food is absolutely phenomenal, especially for the price. My friend and I came here for lunch on a weekday and ordered 4 dishes, and ended up spending just under $40 together. You just don't these low prices anywhere in the triangle anymore, let alone the huge portion sizes we were given. Truly the last bastion of good, authentic, (and cheap) Szechuan cuisine left in the area. Do not sleep on this restaurant.
Updated December 2024: The service is definitely lacking and going downhill even when it's not even busy (we were the only customers but no water refill was given nor were we asked how we were doing.) The food is still very delicious with generous portion. I don't recommend dining in anymore.
Me and my boyfriend are always happy to dine in here! The staff is very friendly and nice and the place is clean. They serve authentic and delicious Chinese food. I haven't tried their thai food yet but I believe it is also equally delicious! I always end up ordering their crispy black pepper fish fillet, stir fried eggplant with szechuan garlic sauce, and whichever I feel like getting depending on the day: chow mein, ho fun, chong qing chicken, spicy fish. Sometimes I have to take my time to decide what to get because all of their menu are so freaking delicious. For appetizers I recommend the crab ragoon and pan fried dumplings!! Try stopping by during lunch time for lunch special, it's such a great deal that you don't want to miss out. I always recommend this place to anyone who craves authentic chinese food.
Good price and good food!
I used to come to this location alot but the quality of the food has dropped considerably. I do not recommend their fried rice. It had no taste and couldn't eat it. I sadly will not be going there again
Me and 2 others dined in this evening, and it was spectacular. The service was very friendly and the food was fantastic.
Great food, extremely fast and high quality service, and good atmosphere
Very welcoming. Food arrived quickly and tasted sooo goooood!!! Will definitely stop by again.
The food was delicious and a very good price! Service was fast even with only one server! I would highly recommend this place!

Chinese and Thai options. We got Thai butter beef, steamed veggies+tofu, and Chinese chicken with veggies. Fried rice and 3 rolls. Delicious. Will be back.
Its a great spot, lots of variety, sevice is quick and food is delicious, I've been a few times and will be back
Had lunch here with a few coworkers and was surprised to find a well priced and absolutely delicious selection of well portioned lunch options. I grabbed the Hunan Chicken and the sauce was flavorful and unique compared to other similar restaurants. Would definitely recommend trying them if you’re in the area.
I love this place! I have never been disappointed in the food or service.

Best food in the area!!
Fantastic food and wonderful staff! I've been coming here for years. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.👍
One of the best authentic Chinese places in the triangle. Love this place.
Great food and large portions even at lunchtime discounted prices. Highly recommend.
“Damn this is good “ what I said when I took my first bite and after i finished eating. They give you a good amount of food and hot and fresh
Best Chinese food in the area! The Szechuan menu is fantastic and you cannot go wrong, even if you’ve only had Americanized Chinese food previously. Portions are huge, quality is great, and the flavors are fantastic! It’s a great place to gather a larger group (6-8) and share entrees. Highly recommended the beef with onion and scallion, lamb with chili peppers and cilantro, basil eggplant, and Szechuan beef noodle soup.
this restaurant is consistently delicious. their portions and prices are amazing. we love this place and hope they never change!!!
The flavors of this restaurant are amazing. Many of their dishes have a bit of spice to them and are delicious. The seating area is a bit smaller than expected but its fine. Staff is friendly and nice. Because this is a popular place, it's ideal to arrive early before they open if you don't want to wait too long. This is one of my favorite places to eat.
Great price with great food on a budget! We ordered General Tso's chicken and Double Cooked Pork Belly for lunch and they were fantastic! The spiciness was just right. Chicken is very tasteful. This becomes our weekly order out restaurant. Highly recommend!
Food is always wonderful!💯
Small restaurant. Great service. Good was a little different but we liked it. We'll go back if ever in that area of town
Smelled great food as soon as I approached the door. Great authentic atmosphere, best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to!
What happened C&T Wok???? This has been the most reliable, authentic, go-to spot for my husband and I for over 10 years. Always hits the spot. But today, we got lunch takeout and the food was suddenly & markedly different…. And downright awful. Rubbery texture to chicken, massaman curry like yellow water & beef tripe had zero flavor. WHAT HAPPENED????? I’M SOO SAD. Please fix this, C&T Wok. Whatever you changed, change it back. This is tragedy!
The food here is sooooo good and the customer service is just as great. I got the fried fish, and it was light, crispy, and super fresh. I know fried food can be iffy, but this was fried perfectly and wasn't overly greasy or heavy, which I loved and will keep me coming back. The green beans, lo mein, and beef with broccoli were other items we got, and they were also super tasty. I was treated incredibly well when I went in and will definitely be going back, I've already recommended this place to multiple people and they also love it already.
A regular at CT the best around know the owners .Harry the waiter the best plenty of food for the money .Lunch or dinner .
Best spicy fish in Cary. Small, but friendly and great food
Everything is delicious...Harry is helpful man
Some of their dishes are really good, however they try to do a fusion restaurant with Thai cuisine too, and their Thai food isn't the best. They also do some weird mixes of traditional dishes, but all in all I continue to come back as it's usually tasty and the prices are good.
This place always delivers excellent food. I have been going here for over 10 years. They have not failed me once.. food quality is good and the quantity is good. Reasonably priced. Both dining and takeouts are good options. Family run business, hence you can tell.
Lovely local joint with gracious and friendly staff, authentic food, and great atmosphere. Highly recommend their spicy crispy fish and coffee chicken.
Nothing was bad, but nothing was good either.
Faked the noodles, chicken was overcooked, and way too many veg in my Singapore noodles.
Dumplings were just barely mediocre, chewy, flavorless.
Popcorn chicken is mostly breading.
Incredible food at inflation defying price!
The food has become really bad at this place. I bought Kungpao chicken tonight and it tasted awful. There was no chinese vegetables in it, only carrots and celery with ton of chinese peppercorn with no gravy. They must have changed the cooks and the people and it has gone down the drain.
Love this place! They have Americanized(?) Chinese food (which is awesome), but I really like trying the items from the traditional menu to break away from the standard "chicken and broccoli" mold. The coffee chicken was amazing! I can't even explain the flavor, but I know I couldn't stop eating it! We'll be back!
Best general Tsos in the state and it’s not even close
Great authentic chinese food. Chinese staff are friendly and food taste great. Make an effort to order off the chinese menu if you can. That's where all the tasty dishes are.
The area can be busy for lunch so I would either come early or plan on going on an off day.
I really wish they would get a slightly bigger place but that's just me.
Whenever I am in the area, I stop in for the Shrimp Lo Mein. They make the best I have ever eaten.
Lovely people and yummy food
We ordered take out. Have been looking for a place since Flavors closed and just truly didn’t know C&T Wok existed.
We will be back for sure. Very small inside but seemed busy and like everyone was enjoying themselves.
Large portions for the price.
Authentic, delicious, big portions so come hungry!
Hi the food was really good ,whatever I try new it always doesn't disappoint me .,itw awesome.the staff were friendly and it's cheap n u got to eat more .....refer this place to every one
I have ordered for almost 10 years. Their food is great and Excellent! Alot of unique dishes. They will do anything to help you and make whatever you want.
Very nice people and great food and family.
This is a homey and delicious spot. The food is so good and the staff are so sweet. I come here pretty often for the crispy spicy fish and pork belly.
Best authentic Chinese in the area. We do not order the more American tailored stuff. We only order family style.
The place is small and very basic. But you go there for the food, not the ambience. We most often take out as a family, but dine in with friends.
Only had a few things here so far but the spicy fish and green beans are great
Excellent service and food. Really good value
Food is always super good and affordable. Fast service. My favorite place for Asian food in the area.
Our favorite Chinese or Thai place. E always get salt and pepper squid. We also like drunken noodles, chicken and Broccoli, and curry. Price is reasonable for the area. It gets packed during weekdays at lunch time.
Very tasty food, you can find authentic Chinese food
Small cozy family owned restaurant. Simply great tasting foods. 👍
My favorite Asian restaurant near home. The food is always superb, service is good whether you dine in or take out. Coffee popcorn chicken is the bomb.
My go to. I know I'm in good company when I'm the only non Asian there! A very extensive menu, I'm still exploring it! They have both Thai and Chinese dishes but I generally stick to Chinese. Crispy fish is amazing. Try the squid, leek and pork special- it sounds bizarre but it's delightful.
So glad I visited C&T Wok. I had been looking for Chinese food everywhere but never satisfied. But now C&T is my favorite place to eat my favorite Chinese foods 😊
Orange chicken is delicious and our family favorite. Usually do take-out, which if you do take-out make sure to remember your order number. Speeds pickup. When busy the wait can be long and service can suffer because of limited staff. But food is great and we really like the place. Very reasonably priced for the quantity you get.
Went last weekend with out-of-town guests. Loved the lamb cumin and spicy fish fillets. The fried rice and lo mein were pretty good. The kid menu items are substantial - so don’t order too much. However one of our guests commented that the chicken dishes have a little gamey smell. I didn’t quite catch it but could definitely smell it the next day in the extra stuff we’d taken home. So a little disappointed. I don’t know if this is a one off problem or something that will persist. I have eaten take out from here before and don’t remember the smell.
It’s a dinky little place with tight seating but cheerful service. And even with the chicken smelling funky - I will give them another try. And still recommend the place. Maybe just not order the chicken dishes yeah?
Nice cozy restaurant. The staff were friendly. We ordered 2 different items but both tasted the same.If you do not enjoy eating sweet food then avoid General TSO chicken and Orange Chicken. We will surely visit again and try some other spicy dishes.
Excellent food and very friendly service! I recommend the coffee popcorn chicken and crispy fish fillet.
The food was good and tasty. I had the lunch special. Good portion for the price. Value for the money.
Exceptional food and service every time!
I got the Mapo Tofu, mushroom baby bok choy , Lo mein, and boiled lamb in Szechuan sauce.
The mushroom baby bok-choy was okay but we were not happy about those food tonight.
I used to go this restaurant but now I feel like it’s a completely different restaurant. Especially the mapo tofu was way too different than I expected.
An authentic Chinese restaurant. Plenty to choose from. I typically buy Singapore Noodles or coffee popcorn chicken.
Food is delicious, prices are reasonable and employee are nice.
Loved the Yang Chow Fried Rice takeout, really tasty meat and good quantity. Will definitely try in dining next time.
Wide choice of items, have only tried few and never disappointed. Taste is consistent, definitely got to give for the service staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Excellent food and service, highly recommended!
The portion size is so good during these inflation times..yummy... lunch combos are good...
Great food and service
Edit/Add: I’ve been here several times now and it remains incredibly awesome. I’m sad that we moved further away from this restaurant but will try to visit whenever I am nearby.
Original: This place is a jewel. Came here by “accident” as our original destination was closed. Food was excellent at great prices and great portions. Chinese, Thai, and authentic Szechuan cuisine. We just moved to NC a month ago and I strongly suspect we will be back here.
I chose this restaurant because of its glowing reviews, it now I’m wondering if they were truly authentic. The pad Thai was good. I’m glad that I ordered it with tofu because the General Tsos was horrible, particularly because the chicken was very overcooked. It was a strange, deep colored red and dry and chewy.
We had our meal delivered by DoorDash so I cannot comment of the atmosphere or service of the restaurant.
Best General Tso in Morrisville
Absolutely the best Chinese and Thai food in the area, and at very reasonable prices. Everything I have ordered has been amazing! Check it out
Tasteless food. The menu mentioned spicy but the food did not even have any salt. We ordered Schezuan Fillet Fish, Chicken with Mixed Veg and Orange Chicken.
Fish was super bland. It had boiled Fish and clear broth. Same story with Chicken. Zero taste. Not even salt.
Orange chicken was overfried and burnt.
The appetizer was.Veg Spring Roll..It had raw and stale cabbage with carrots. Tom yum soup and Wonton soup was also tasteless.
Very sad end of the day with poor quality dinner
Good price and food is great.
Their coffee popcorn chicken is off the chain!
Love this spot, been coming here for years and years. Can’t go wrong with authentic Chinese cuisine.
C&T Wok is my go to schezwan Chinese place. Highly recommend double cooked pork belly! The service is always quick and the food is amazing!
Consistently good Szechuan food with huge portions. They have American Chinese and Thai - but go for the Szechuan.
The food here is really good.
The best Chinese food in town!
Loved the eggplant!
Great food, amazing staff
Still amazing 5 years later!
Food is out of this world amazing!! I love the coffee popcorn chicken, threaded pork with pickled mustard, and the thai pork soup. If you're debating on going here, just do it. The atmosphere is okay but it doesn't matter. Service is also great.
I have been getting take out from CT Wok for many years but the quality has gone down a lot in past few months. We order 6 dishes and 4 of them was under par. Chongqing spicy chix was very old and bad. Crispy filker fish was salty and not even close to what it used to be. Kungpao chix was just plain bad. We will not be going back anytime soon.
Best Chinese in the Raleigh Durham area
Average at best!
I’ve had a lot of great Chinese food in Cary, but C&T Wok is definitely one of the best. The crispy filet fish stir-fried with dried chili is one of my new favorite dishes - don’t miss it if you like fried fish. The whole table couldn’t get enough. Also great that we tried were the string beans, C&T special, cumin lamb, Thai green curry, and tom yum soup. The kids meals are also great, and large portions with everything. Very small inside with a casual atmosphere and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend sharing a few dishes with friends.
Always great food. One of our favorites
Very authentic Chinese cuisine. One of the best moo shoo pork I ever had, even in China
Totally authentic. The menu speaks for itself - dishes you won't see anywhere else. I'd expect this food in Chinatown but since I have been back to Chinatown (DC or SF) that would be an insult. It is way better. This is Chinese food the way it used to be. Spicy, sharp tasting. Crispy chicken that is actually crispy. I also tasted the Kung Pao since that is pretty much mush throughout the triangle. Not here. Huge portions, reasonable price, friendly fast service. How do I give it 6 stars?
👍yummy
Best Chinese food in town. Excellent service. My friend and I come here as much as we can.
Good food. Good service. Great prices! What else could you ask for?
Good Chinese restaurant that is good value.
The best Chinese food, not too sugary. Coffee chicken is magic
Only get what’s popular on the menu. I got food poisoned this time and stomachs been hurting for couple days now, this isn’t the first time I got sick either, I keep giving CT wok a chance but this might be the last straw. Might have to go to their competitors restaurant from now on.
the best place around for Chinese food
This little gem is fantastic. My last visit was a huge lunch plate of General Tso's chicken. I'm a big eater, and the portion was still almost too much for me! This dish runs on the hotter side here too, which I thought was great. I've had takeout from here several times as well and it's always been good.
During lunch this place can be packed and you may have a hard time finding seating if you don't go early enough, but the service is surprisingly quick.
Wonderful. Friendly staff, great service, and great food.
We went there as a party of 10, and had a nice memorable meal.
*The intention of this review is to not bash the place but I genuinely would love to see the old quality return.
I have been to this place many many times but never have I ever left so disappointed. The beef for my beef noodle soup was so overcooked it was almost black (see pictures) and there wasn't even enough meat (maybe 3 or 3 pieces). Soup was jam-packed with noodles and barely any broth- the ration was soo off. And the boiled fish had like 4 pieces of fish. Flavor was lacking too. I left very disappointed. I have had these two dishes from this place so many times and have loved it and I genuinely hope the quality goes up and this was just a one off bad experience.
Great food and friendly service! Kids loved the kids meals and we loved the savory Thai and Chinese cuisine. Had orange beef which I order at every restaurant that has it on the menu/ Among the past 7 restaurants, C&T Wok had the best orange beef. The food is on the spicy side so let them know if you have a lower tolerance for spice: they can accommodate you.
I've very picky when it comes to Chinese foods. This restaurant is by far the most authentic tasting Chinese restaurant I've had so far in the Triangle Area in soooo long. My first dine in was thoroughly impressive! Love that their Szechuan sauce is not too overwhelming on the taste buds. It's made just right, flavor is on point! Will be back again for sure!
Wide range of traditional US Chinese, Thai and Szechuan dishes. Had the Massuman, it was good. Fast turn. No alcohol.
Really really good Chinese food. I always order the green beans and ask for extra peppercorn. Also always order the chili beef with cilantro and scallion. It’s legitimately amazing. Got a Thai dish that was okay but not great. People also like the coffee chicken, but I think the pro move is the Chili beef. The mopu tofu is also yummy.
They have the freshest and most delicious dishes here! The Singapore mai fun with shrimp and chicken is delicious.
My to go dinner spot on a cold weather
Love the Ching quang spicy chicken and spicy with schezuan sauce
Very good quantity and totally worth the price, their mapa tofu is so good too
Those are my favorites
A really great experience. They do spicy well, and the quality and quantity was spot on.
I thoroughly enjoyed your Baby Shanghai Bok-Choy!!!!! It was seasoned to perfection with Shiitake Mushrooms and a great way to bring in the Chinese New Year with this delightful bok choy dish!!!!! I will try again and explore other menu items and thank you!!!!!
This place was great! Excellent food, kind service and a big menu to choose from!
Be careful when ordering delivery/takeout from here. I got the completely wrong order, and the entire meal was vegetarian. This leads me to believe that potentially someone got my order and got a whole meal that doesn’t fit their dietary restrictions. That’s on top of waiting 40 minutes for the meal to be prepared itself.
I loved the food.
Always a great place for quick takeouts. Lunch specials are at great price and have variety vegetarian options unlike other restaurants. Great taste, appreciatively affordable to everyone.
Delightful!
Always offers a delicious meal with pleasant service! Highly recommend the coffee shrimp, it’s the perfect blend of savory and spicy!
