We're regulars at Thai Herb in High Point, and while everyone raves about their curries, my personal favorite is the incredibly flavorful steamed Kao Mun Gai (chicken rice). For appetizers, you can't go wrong with the crispy fried tofu or the chicken wings.

One thing to note – Thai Herb lets you choose your spice level from 1 to 6. But be warned, this is a Thai spice scale, not your average American one! My friend, who can handle a ton of heat, even struggled with level 4.

The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. The restaurant itself has a cozy, casual vibe. While some might find it a touch dated, it adds to the charm for me. Plus, there's ample parking available.

I arrived and it was not ready yet, waited 40 minutes past the pick up time! I get my food home and the steak is raw!!! Still mooing RAW! The strawberry Philly roll instead is blueberries! This was my valentine dinner and it's ruined! $75 dollars and 40 extra minutes for it to be wrong and RAW!!!

We also bought the Calamari, it literally looked like fish sticks and the inside was so stretchy none of us could break through it with our teeth. Also to add that it was very breaded. The way it was cut into triangles looks like it was grocery store frozen calamari. After this we were worried about how our sushi and Pad Thai would be. When we got it, it wasn’t that bad. It wasn’t amazing but it was good. We didn’t leave a tip because we were very disappointed that we spent $80 on this meal and this is what we get.

I tried their sushi, stir fry, and dessert; I was very satisfied with the flavors and the quick, friendly service. The staff is light but it is not usually crowded, so they are very attentive to refills, clearing dirty dishes, etc.

They have a vast variety of sushi, hibachi, pad thai, and stir fry. There's something on the menu for everyone. Food is well seasoned and can be adjusted to your spice level if you prefer mild or spicy foods.

As a Thai people I would recommend Pad -kee-mao(Drunken noodle) We went there 2 times for this dish!! For Lunch they served with 1 spring roll and soup or Salad.
Teste of my food is wonderful. They used fresh rice noodle and Sauce are perfect taste!!!

Amazing food, the baby octopus salad was one of the best one I ever had, 10/10 would suffer from spice food again.

My order was $20.26 I did not leave them a $10.00 tip but I signed the total to be $20.26. Two days later they added a $10.00 tip which I did not tip that amount

Fantastic Thai food in High Point. We just moved to the city and have been looking for our go-to restaurants. We lucked out with Thai Herb as our first try. The mango curry was delicious and rich and just the right level of spicy (at a 2!). The pad kee mao was less basil than I expected and more dark soy base but tasted great, so who cares? I can’t wait to try some other dishes!

Vegetarian Pho was perfect, just what I wanted

I had the drunken noodles with chicken and Tofu with some Miso Soup. One of the best Drunken Noodles experiences i have had ever. Top quality food.

Service was horrible. Once the food arrived, no one checked on me to see if i needed anything. The thai pho was very sub-par. Summer rolls were plain and dipping sauce just didn't match the rolls.

I have been going there for years and up until now I had been satisfied and have even convinced others to patronize the establishment. I called in good 30 minutes before I came and still was forced to wait another 30 minutes. The food that I purchased was not what I received. I do not eat mushrooms and yet there was a mushroom in my food. Thank God I do not have a known mushroom allergy.I asked that the heat be level 2 and it was so hot that my mouth burned, eyes watered and lips felt like they were swelling. I called in to complain and the person on the phone laughed. I was passed to 3 different people and I can say I am very dissatisfied with the food and customer service. I intend on making other reviews and also speak about the service and food on my podcast

They really need to describe the spring roll. Regular spring rolls are fried. I got 2 fresh spring rolls,tasted like I was eating freshly cut grass 😩. I did not expect this

Literally the worst… the food is max ok ON A GOOD DAY.. try 98 Asian bistro or simply Thai 98 is emaculate at everything… and I’ve only had simply Thai noodles and they were amazing my favorite is the spicy noodles .. but anyways I ordered for takeout coming 15 mins from home and instead of making my noodles spicy level 5 they gave me No spice what’s so ever so bland pale white noodles which is even worse they barely make their food flavorful so if ur dinning in get a spice tray but in general they cook it as plain as can be but I called them to get it redone and drive back so wasted an he driving in total and I’ve had this order before at least 2x with Thai hot spice level and it was good but I yelled at the on the phone because they didn’t even make my first one spice level 1 so I said no I need Thai hot which is their highest and I emphasized that and then they threw in so much just red pepper flakes not even using different ingredients to make it spicy just a whole bottle of crushed pepper flake which is not how they usually make Thai hot drunken noodles the right way it’s edible but what they remade me was just disgusting one single piece of noodle not only burned my younger and tasted horrible they didn’t even spice it correctly just through crushed pepper thinking that’s professional and not homemade winging it and the piece of noodle litterally burned my surrounding skin and mouth too it was terrible and disgusting waste of gas time and money

I go here several times a month and doordash them often. Love the seafood pho and the steamed Shrimp dumplings and the summer roll. Staff is always kind and the service is quick.

The tom kha soup is absolutely delicious.

I am limited in knowledge about Thai food. But I know I enjoyed this immensely. I got the Massaman Curry. She asked me the heat level. I went one over medium. Either a 4 on 5 scale or 6 on 10 scale. I love heat but I have heard Thai heat can be wicked. This was perfect. Just enough to not have to add anything else. Lunch came with a Spring roll and some type of broth I think. It was all good and this place was really clean and spotless. My dining partners who work near here got the mango curry and some sort of broccoli dish. We enjoyed the meal.

This is a restaurant we used to frequently get takeout from when we lived in the area 5yrs ago. We are back for a month visiting family and this was the place I was most excited about going back to, and thankfully it was even better than I remembered it being! I always get either the mango or pineapple curry with tofu and extra veggies. I also got the summer rolls. So so sooo good! We will be back several times before we leave here, and every time we return to the area! I love that the food is still nice and hot when I get it home after a 20min drive. Absolutely recommend this place!!

Mid at best. The noodles were dry. And it lacked flavor. Won't be back

Restaurant was busy and filled with people

I had the drunken noodles with tofu. Food, ambiance, and service was all wonderful. It was about 530 on a Monday. There was no wait and wasn't crowded. I was able to sit and watch YT and enjoyed it all. I'll probably make this a regular trip.

This was my first try at Thai food and it was amazing! The server helped me decide what to order and I got the Drunken Noodle. It was really good. The atmosphere was relaxing ...I will definitely go back to try other menu items... the portion was enough for me to take home almost half of it for the next day...

The order of curry was half full but charged at a full price. I had to ask to have it corrected. will not be back because I did not like the attitude, treating me like I’m wrong for asking. Then when I got home I found that they just added water to make it look fuller. Unacceptable!

First time ordering & they did not disappoint! The customer service was amazing. Friendly taking phone order & even friendlier in person. We ordered the Drunken noodle- superb. The summer rolls- yum. The chicken wings- perfect. The chicken satay w/ peanut sauce- wonderful (especially for someone looking for the healthier side). And lastly, the vegetable rice was great. Thank you, Thai Herb. We have found our special gem in High Point.

I literally eat here everyday! Top 5 favorites are: Kao Mun Gai, Mango Curry, Pad Thai, All Sushi Rolls, and The Spring Rolls are so Crispy and fresh! I genuinely wish prosperity for each and everyone who works at, in and for this establishment. It’s always a joy for us to come in.

The best Thai food I’ve had in a while and it isn’t close. Their sushi is freshly made onsite and they have so many different options to choose from. My favorite was the Kao Mun Gai(pictured at top) I’ve been back at least 3 times for it. Staff provides excellent service my favorite restaurant in High Point thus far.

Food was good, nothing incredibly special. Ordered some sushi, Pho, Beef Larb and Lao sausage. Service was a little slow but over all good experience. The waitress was very friendly.

Came here for dinner and we ordered lao sausage, tofu pad thai, steak pad thai, and the rainbow roll. Overall, the food was quality and delicious. Eating steak pad thai with a spice of level 4 was definitely noticeable. They accidentally gave me tofu pad thai without any spice, but it turned out pretty sweet. I actually preferred eating the sweeter version of pad thai vs level 4, so try it out!

The staff were really nice and accommodating, the booths are very comfortable and large enough for big parties. The food is really great as well. I love their sushi!

This place has delicious shrimp and beef dumplings. Very good pho and service is great to they also have soy sauce and chopsticks and everything you need so you don’t have to ask 10/10.

Ordered food through QMenu, a link on the restaurant's website and the order was confirmed via email and text message. When my husband drove 20 min to pick it up, they hadn't submitted the order to the kitchen and it was going to take another 20-30 min to prepare the food! Left without getting our order. Highly unprofessional and not worth our time again.

Food was absolutely amazing, fresh and delicious. The restaurant is clean, well lit and ambiance is cozy and inviting. The staff is polite and happy. The menu is very large and can accommodate many different pallettes. Definitely recommend you come give these guys a try. We will make this our new spot for sushi, udon, and habatchi.

Twice I've ordered from here and it's been way too spicy. I enjoy spicy food, but even the level 1 spice is way too spicy to enjoy the flavors of the food.

I went here with my friend who works at HPU. Not intentionally, we arrived about 20 min before they had their 2:30 pm break until dinner. So we were the only ones there. The young man who took our order was very respectful & the food was amazing. We both ordered the pho since you rarely hear of any pho places in the triad sans Greensboro. And lo and pho and behold the food did not let us down. The broth was impeccable and rich and heavy. All the condiments were fresh and they gave us more than enough. For me the only con is that the phos could have had more meat. But they did have a section on the menu where you could order extra meats/ingredients to add to your dish (which we did not do). all in all 10/10 food and service. I look forward to going here again soon.

Yeah honestly, probably won't return. My boyfriend and I visited once and really enjoyed the sushi. But we ordered a meal to-go about two weeks ago and really didn't have a great experience. We ordered two sushi rolls and chicken hibachi to split, but when we got home, there was no rice with the hibachi. I called back to see if I could get some kind of refund or even come back to pick up the rice, and the hostess insisted that she put rice in the bag......there was no rice. We went back and forth with me explaining there was no rice in this bag (why would I lie about rice...it was the cheapest part of the meal) and her being adamant that she put rice in the bag. So we just ate chicken and vegetables. The food is good, but not worth the hassle of basically being told we were lying and not being given an option to get a few dollars back or even come back and pick up rice.

Very unprofessional I work for doordash and had a mobile pickup through them had to wait over 20 minutes after my order was suppose to been ready and when confronted they're way of resolving problem was to simply cancel but if you're are a doordash driver like myself then you know if you cancel so many orders doordash can deactivate your account so in the future I recommend not going to this place

Drunken noodles and pineapple rice are great! Honestly would have preferred less attentive service once the food was out because they came by to ask if we were ok/fill water so many times but if you like that kind of service it’s the place for you. Restroom is clean and the space is pretty nice.

I also ordered egg runny the egg rolls because there is no indication that they were deep fried I think they were microwave because they were completely cold on the inside

This restaurant needs to train their employees on customer service skills. First, I placed an order to be ready for pick up at a certain time, but it was ready within 15 minutes. (30 min early). I asked for a specific time. I called to let them know that I wanted my food prepared under a reasonable time so my food would not be cold and my sushi wouldn’t not go bad. No one wants to eat cold food! I explained it in a nice way but the woman that I spoke to didn’t seem to care. So I just cancelled my order. Food is great, but bad customer service experience can ruin a whole view of the restaurant. Will not return.

So good, even my picky parents loved it! Lots of options for everyone, no matter what you want. We ordered online & picked up and the process was super smooth and fast. Better than what I expected to find in small city North Carolina.
