I originally rated it 5 stars over 5 years ago and I can say with confidence that the food is still just as good. The sweet and sour chicken and pad Thai are fantastic. The lunch specials are very reasonable.

We tried Vegetarian Pad Thai and Thai Tea. Taste was great and portion of food was large enough. One of the top place in Greensboro for Thai cuisine.

My husband spoke with the lady before we walked out and he looked down at her food and said well at least your food looks good. She looked up and said it's not good at all! I got the chicken with the fried rice. My husband got the sweet and sour chicken with the white rice. The lady behind us got the pad Thai noodles with tofu. We all said the food was nasty. The only reason we came here was because there was a sushi restaurant right up the road from this place that we were wanting to eat at but there was almost an hour wait for that place so we drove around and saw this place. Never again. I'm warning you now lol.

The dumplings were ok, but a little expensive for their size and the amount. I love pho and tried this seafood pho, but it lacked flavor. Of course I added some of the sauces, but this dish was pretty expensive and I expected it to be better. With so many options to choose from not sure if we will try this place again.

I hate to leave poor reviews on local or family owned business. I carefully read many of the other reviews and would have to agree with most of them. The food was tasty, but really not impressive. The service was polite to me and I didn’t wittiness any racism. Many of the little touches you’d expect from a Tai restaurant were missing. Rather than return as a repeat customer, I’ll try other places in the future.

This is one of the few affordable lunch spots left. They have many dishes for lunch in the $10-14 range. The service is good and we did not wait long for our food.

The food always tastes pretty good. Not the best Thai food in the area but decent when the other locations are closed. HOWEVER, last week I happened to be headed to the rest room at the same time that the main waiter there was also headed to the rest room. I went in right behind him and I don't think he noticed me there. He used the urinal, handling his privates and spitting in thr urinal, and then just put his privates away and left the restroom. After I finished, washed my hands, I walked out and he was already serving another table their food. This is completely unacceptable and I will never go back there after seeing disgusting behavior! Also, I belive their rating is a 94.5 so I'm sure it's pretty dirty in the kitchen also. BEWARE!

I've ordered delivery multiple times from this restaurant and everything is always great! The food is fresh and delicious, and the order is always accurate. I highly recommend the shrimp fresh rolls, drunken noodles, and chicken pho.

Really tasty food and polite service

Thai Bangkok Restaurant takes me back to my time in Thailand. It is authentic Thai food made by Thai people, served with the grace of Thailand. Today all I had were Fresh Rolls. These are filled with tender shrimp and loaded with fresh vegetables in a perfect, cold rice wrapper. The plum sauce served with it sent me back to the restaurants and stalls in Bangkok and throughout Thailand. No pictures today, you must come and eat here!

I frequent this restaurant often (2-3 times a week) and I must say the quality of the food has gone down tremendously in just the past few months. I get the exact same meal every time and every time it takes different. It lacks flavor it’s just hot. Not sure if there’s new cooks, different supplier or what it is but something has changed.

Best to go Thai food in High Point, the places don't come close.

Food was nasty

Food was good, but it was very overpriced. No option for kids and seating is very tight. The ambience is nice, but not so much for large parties with children.

Been eating here for 15 years and it’s always been consistently delicious. Thai Basil Chicken with ground chicken is my go to. Always friendly service too!

Unfortunately a poor example of Thai cuisine. Old, poorly prepared, kinda gross ingredients.

Premium price for substandard flavors - the spices in Pad Thai are inadequate to balance the amount of fish sauce. Most of Pad See Ew chicken was eh, noodles basic. All came out lukewarm.

Saw a comment saying it’s like fast food, absolutely accurate. Nowhere near the quality that past Charlotte / Florida Thai shops I’ve visited have served; will be looking for another place in the Triad.

Food was warm and not hot, but most notably was the smell of sewage backup into the restaurant as you walk in. The restrooms double as furniture storage and the area could definitely use a deep clean.

This is High Point's hidden gem. Excellent food and service. Lovely setting. We'll be regulars.

Yellow Curry w/ Chicken + Potatoes Level 4 was so good for a cold night.

Some of the best curry I've ever had. Friendly service and some delicious food. The Bangkok Crispy Rolls are just amazing! We have a new favorite appetizer. This is a spot that you really have to try. Best Thai food we have had in the Triad.

I had a taste for something different. The waitress recommended Basil Leaves (Kra Pow) with chicken. It was an amazing dish! The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend this spot for business dining or dining with someone special.

I actually like the food here especially the red and green curries and fresh rolls but the waiter who takes the orders is absolutely unfriendly and rude. I had been ordering from here about 4 days a week and I just looked over his attitude but this last time was the straw that broke the camel's back.
I can't go back even to a good place with rude staff.

Ordered Thai curry puffs. Very disappointed in the size and price but mostly the taste. Four small fried puffs filled with very little ground chicken and sweet potatoes for the price of $8.00 It tasted like it was from a box frozen thawed out and heated up in microwave.

I'm a long time lover of this place. Food is great. Service is great. I just noticed recently portions were smaller and now i cant order online because they put a $10 minimum on orders and my most of the lunch meals are 7.95. I didnt even see a way to add a spring roll to get to $10 min. And they are charging a processing fee...its too much. Pls revamp this online ordering or you are going to miss sales.

Not going to lie, I was slightly disappointed in the food, because I used to come here frequently here before I moved out of state, and I remember the food being more flavorful. The food this time lacked a bit of a flavor in some dishes, but the food that was good was really good! Maybe it was because I came here with my family for a birthday event, and they couldn’t order dishes as spicy as they’d normally be. I still enjoyed the atmosphere and the service!

I’ll probably go back to try the food again and update this review.

If there were an option to give a zero star rating I would but lucky for them the rating scale starts at 1.
We arrived at 8:45 on Saturday, only to be told they were closed. All notifications stated closing was at 9:30.
They asserted that they were closed for the night which seemed very discretionary and out of sorts. Be warned; I do not recommend this establishment.

I had the hot sesame chicken, and it was abundant with flavor. I'm definitely looking forward to trying more items from their menu.

Thai Bangkok had polite and attentive staff. The atmosphere was welcoming and more importantly, the Pad Thai was delicious! My leftovers tasted even better the next day.

Go there for lunch on weekdays for great and cheap lunch menu, I went once on weekday and once on weekend, both the times food was good! Better the first time though.

If you want it spicy, ask for Asian spice, everything is dulled to the typical American pallet.

The Pad see ew was delicious and slightly sweet. The drunken noodles were spicy and vegetables were cooked just right, not mushy. The spring roll was crispy and flaky pretty good Thai food.

One of our favorite places for date nights. Kind wait staff, good food, reasonable prices. There are many options for food and for beverages - and we haven't had anything bad yet. The restaurant is rarely crowded so the tables being slightly close together aren't as much of an issue.

I had an inkling for Thai and found this place. The rating was good so I was surprised when the food was just "meh", neither good nor bad. I ordered the tofu pad Thai. It didn't have the tanginess of other pad Thai dishes I've had. The fresh veg/herbs, peanuts, and egg were practically non-existent. On the good side, it tastes like there was real tamarind sauce. Still the flavor missed its mark. The other dish I ordered was papaya salad. That also was a missed. The fish sauce was just salty...no tang or spiciness to it at all.

I ate here a few weeks ago. The restaurant was very clean and the food was fantastic. Their service is on point. I've been craving Thai food ever since and plan to return soon.

The best Thai in the Triad area.

The food was not authentic Thai food. It was really fast food doused with soy sauce. Fool me once, won’t fool me twice. Staff was incredibly nice and hospitable but the food 😞

Food was mediocre. Sizzling dish was not Sizzling at all. We ordered 4 dishes and none tasted good. Complained to the waitress and she said you should complain to the owner, she just brings the food out. She said she has told the owner but she doesn't care.

Definitely recommend this place, the food was top notch and so was the service and cleanliness!

Everyone in the party liked and enjoyed their meal. They have a good selection of the standard Thai dishes and appetizers. Portions were reasonable, and they seemed to have more meat in their dishes than some Thai restaurants do.

I love spicy food and they do a great job at keeping the spice levels consistent. Great service always.

Consistently great, Thai Bangkok is my favorite place to get Thai food in the triad and I've been going here for more than 10 years!

I ate here for lunch about 2 weeks ago. Was clean and waiter was very nice but my food my luke warm. I am not kidding the temp of the food was not acceptable -- I kept wanting to ask the waiter to just nuke it for a few minutes to warm it up. The taste was okay but I couldn't enjoy because it wasn't warm.

Will not be eating here again.

I enjoy Thai food and decided to try this place as it was close by. On a Wednesday evening, the service was very slow with only one person working the entire restaurant and handling to-go orders. After about 20 minutes of walking in the door she finally took my order. Food was tasteless and unappealing. I will not be returning here and will stick with my favorites.

This place has been here for a while. I've always driven or walked past it visiting other places around the shopping center, but last week I went in and ordered. Let me tell you I was missing out! The noodles were delicious. We're going again next week to try a few more things off the menu and to experience the dine in service.

I just found this restaurant yesterday. The food is delicious! Thai beef salad is the best. The meat is tender and seasoned well. I went back again today...excellent! This is my go to place for Thai food.

I won’t even give any star for this place, waited about 30 mins for a drink of water! , another 30 mins for food, had to grab the menu from other table since the server didn’t even gave us a menu and their Pho?after an hour of waiting!! OMG, tasted like water with beef bouillon and old beef put together in a bowl! I was so disappointed and upset since I was trying the place for the 1st time, thought It will be good but nah! Just a waste of time and money! I left very unhappy and unsatisfied with this place!

Came here for a simple order of fresh rolls. They gave me two fresh rolls with one shrimp cut in half for both rolls. Not to mention the carrots and lettuce were dirty. The presentation of the fresh rolls was very sloppy like the roll was just thrown together. The wrap to the fresh roll was also very dry. They also gave me oyster sauce instead of the peanut sauce which is traditionally served with fresh rolls. As much as I love to eat fresh rolls I will never buy them from here again. It’s a waste of 12 bucks but oh well.

Fantastic Thai food for lunch. The crunchy rolls appetizer is unique and full of flavor. Overall a fantastic experience. Waitress could have been more attentive and the wait staff should work together more to ensure refills are done in a timely manner. However, the short wait time for your food plus the mouth watering deliciousness of what you receive far makes up for it. Potential 5 star with some wait staff training!

Review: Their curry it’s not flaming spicy like other restaurants which can be a plus for some of us.

They won't accept customers after 2:15 since they close at 2:30. Very disappointing, won't go there again. Had bern been going regularly.
