This place has amazing Thai Cuisine! Must come and sit down and have some beer or wine with your meal! Being served here is better than taking out! Get to feel the experience of sitting at a table at Thailand having a meal your Auntie or Mommy cooks for you! Must come see!

Authentic Thai food!! Ambience is excellent and the food is absolutely delicious. I ate at another Baan Thai restaurant in Illinois (No connection to Baan Thai Cary)and was craving that same taste and the food at This location in Cary is absolutely the same and amazing. Now I have a place to go to Everytime I come to Raleigh.

Love Baan Thai. The tom yum super spicy chicken soup is amazing. It's our go to. Even with take out, they are extremely generous. Atmosphere is classic authentic Thai too. Great place!!

I read the bad reviews about the Pad Thai, but my experience was very good. I didn't think it lacked flavor or that the chicken was too dry. It was a little pricey and my old 'go-to' Thai restaurant is at the same price with smaller serving sizes. I'm coming back, for sure!

We had tried Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice and picy egg plant. Not even one item was good, we had Thai cuisine many times and this is probably my most unfavorable experience. Egg plant wasnt cooked, chicken was tasteless and padthai was the worst of all. My kid was also not able to eat his meal, imagine kids not liking their chicken tenders. We even ordered beer which tasted flat. So overall not a great experience and expensive too

Worst thai food I ever had. Poor service.

Okay so we decided for Thai today and it's bit disappointing. The pork drunken noodles was good portion but the pork was dead dry and chewy and reminded me as to why I never order pork in such establishments. The beef appetizer was recommended by the hosts and it was the real delight even though I felt the raw onion w as excessive and unnecessary..the meat was succulent but for the price the portion could be little bit more but we shared it fine. And the dumplings were nice and juicy but the salt ruined it for me .

Fantastic food and service

Used to be our go to Thai place, but every time we check the menu, they keep increasing the prices. Curry used to be $13 and now it's $17 per. Also adding random convenience fees. Can't justify the price anymore.

This Thai rice reminded me of the flavor of Thailand, it is the most original flavor I have tried so far, I didn't like their soup very much, it was a little watery, the soda is in a can, the appearance of the place is also very traditional, the staff Very attentive, I will continue visiting to try more dishes, but if you like fried rice this is the best!

Friendly staff. Pick up order was fast. Avoid the crab rangoon. They're more like cream cheese rangoon.

if you like ya food without any seasoning then this place is for you. dry food, no sauce or anything. picked up my order and then drove back to ask if i could have the “special sauce” that was in the description on their website and got handed a small container of soy sauce. like bro how you gonna charge $20 for this and it got NO FLAVOR

The food is good and they use fresh ingredients which is a plus. And the people working are friendly, I haven't had anything I don't like here yet. The only issue I have is that the prices don't match the portion sizes. I'd expect a lot more food for the price of the dishes or same size portions at a lower price. You can easily spend $30 ordering one entree and a side of spring rolls to go for one person not even including a drink.

Consistently bad experience. There was always something that went wrong. Their stir fry is not a typical stir fry that comes up when you google the term. Instead, it’s a pink translucent liquid with vegetables in it and white rice on the side. Misleading to call it stir fry and charge $17+ for it!

Great service and authentic food! Stopped by when I was shopping in the area. It was very relaxed, the service was fast and everyone was very friendly! The beef pad Thai was excellent. I love that they truly make it Thai Hot when requested! Their soups are also good. So delicious

This was our favorite place, monthly visit as the food is good.

However we have noticed they over charge you. Instead of billing you the dish you order, they bill a higher dish minus what you don’t want. For example shrimp and beef, they will bill shrimp, beef and chicken, then remove the chicken. This results in about $6 more per dish.

I did inform them about this, and they either did not understand me or they did not care.

Baan Thai being a 4.2 on here is a travesty. When I walked in the simple decor told me one thing- we’re here for flavor not frills. I enjoyed the gentle intrumental music playing on a speaker.

This was my first visit, I ordered the green curry and my better half ordered the pad thai. The green curry was outstanding with a slight kick. I dont care for pad thai, but she says “it was sweet without being overbearing. The slight onion flavour worked well into the dish and balaced the sweetness of the sauce.”

We also got Thai Dumplings as a starter, the salty sauce was wonderful, but I forgot to take a picture.

This was much better than my other thai experience in the area-which I wont name out of respect for the owners.

Nice man serving, but food came out a mix of luke warm and some parts hot. #6 Pad (Chicken) eggplant, For instance, the chicken was dry and lukewarm, and the eggplant was very hot. It's supposed to be a spicy dish but did not have any hot spices at all in it. I had to ask for it. The waiter wanted to take my plate back to add it. But I preferred having the spice brought to the table and added it myself.

My only complaint is that the food was too hot to eat right away! That just goes to show you how fast and good it is! Super fast service and amazing food!

My favorite Thai place in the city. During covid they were very efficient for online ordering and it takes just a minute to run in, get your food, and leave. Have yet to get my order wrong and their curries are hands down my favorite around here.

Been here twice for lunch. The service is quick and the food is fresh, tasty with customised spice levels. The red thai curry (tofu and chicken) was creamy, not very hot (we chose lowest hot) with just the right portion size. The veg spring rolls were crisp and the dipping sauce went very well with it. The white wine was served in chilled glasses, which was a nice touch. Also, the Tom yum soup that I had first time was tasty where I was asked to pick between steamed or fried tofu as well as spice levels. I went for steamed tofu and low spice.

Ordered via DoorDash and am not pleased with the food. Not much flavor or spice. Does not taste very fresh. Crab ragoons were literally just cream cheese. Will not be ordering again.

It was our first time ordering this evening. We ordered takeout. We ordered Massaman curry w tofu, pineapple tofu curry, drunken noodles w tofu, and crispy tofu appetizer.
We have been trying several places around recently, and this place was excellent. The sauces were delicious and creamy. The flavors were amazing.
We will definitely be back.

We ordered a take out the Drunken noodle, Pad Thai (in orange red color )and tasteVERY SWEET this is weird, and curry chicken; we got home less than 10 minutes drive, noodle and the meat were soggy, tough like a rubber so terrible, the food itself not appetizing at all!!! Not authentic, fake Thai food.. We had real Thai food before! Worst Thai food ever, don't trust the reviews! I’m not sure how this place has 4 star reviews. We are very sad paying the HIGH PRICE but poor quality food. Not even worth ONE STAR

Food did not taste very authentic nor good. Soup broth tasted as if it was from a bouillon cube and not very palatable. Menu is overpriced for the low quality of food.

Everything comes very mild unless you ask for spicy. My wife loves the Bangkok fried rice. Be sure to try Nom Tok if you like beef and lime salad.

Shrimp pad, Thai is delicious with a sizable portion and big shrimp… I always parrot with mango, sticky rice for dessert and a Thai iced tea, no milk… Absolutely, and consistently OnPoint.

Best green curry I’ve had in NC! I have been living here for 5 years and haven’t had thai food as good before! Definitely recommend green curry with shrimp medium spicy!! Staff is great and atmosphere is also superb. Definitely hits the spot! Will be returning :)

The volcano chicken... By the time I got home (10 minute drive) the chicken was soggy because it was just drenched in the sauce. Literally soup consistency :( don't get To-go

Loved the Thai dumplings! I also got the Pan Woon Sen, sweet but not overly sweet. Added some of the brown sauce to give it the right balance. Service was quick and friendly. $4 wines Mon-Thurs this spring! Would recommend dining in 😁

I had the Spicy Basil Fried Rice. It was so freaking good!!

Good Thai food for NC. I tried the pad Thai, pad see ew, fried tofu, & Tom kah. All were very good. The pad Thai came and was red, usually a flag but was very tasty. Could have used a little lime do I asked for some and it was great. The pad see ew was very good, not with fresh noodles but still very good. The Tom kah was a little to sour for me but it was good.

The food was SO delicious! The wait staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back to try out other dishes!

We have had other dishes we liked from here but the Pad Thai did not taste like Pad Thai - it was too sweet and red - I think that is ketchup in the sauce. Mine didn't have peanuts or lime - my daughter's did. I would totally not order this again.

The Pad Z-Ew was delicious with perfectly cooked noodles. My wife had the Pad Thai and said it had plenty of sauce. Both of our dishes had almost too much chicken.

The restaurant is well located with plenty of parking. Done in was like a ghost town but they were doing a lot of take out. It took a few minutes to get seated and be waited on but once we did the process was quick.

While individual items are not marked the menu notes that gluten free options are available. Our server was very knowledgeable of what was gluten free and what could be modified to be gluten free. I’d say 2/3 if the menu could be made gluten-free. When they food came out he confirmed that the dish was gluten free when serving it and a gluten free note was on our bill. I got drunken noodles and they were super tasty.

For those that also need to watch dairy be aware that they use regular milk/cream in addition to coconut milk in their curries.

We have been going to Baan Thai for a few years now after ordering delivery during covid. Their quality and taste of dishes is splendid and has remained consistent. We are vegetarian and they have many options and can make most dishes without meat. Overall great Thai food in the Raleigh area. Very friendly staff as well!!

5 stars for the food. Rich in flavor, healthy and not too spicy. 5 stars for the service, very attentive and friendly. 4 stars for the ambiance. Overall, a 5 star Thai food experience. I definitely recommend. Lots of takeout customers seem to agree as well.

Stopped here in the way back from Preston Lake. I'm vegan and was happy to see a few options. I went with the Pineapple Coconut Curry and it was amazing.

It was perfect for lunchtime there were only like maybe 10-11 table so on a busy night for dinner I could see the wait being a little longer but overall very good. Will definitely dine here again.

Ordered today (5/08/2022) at 6:08pm......they promised 6:45pm. As of 8:20pm, my wife still does not have our food! Which will come first? our food.....or the scheduled closing of the doors at 9:00Pm? They had to know they "might be busy today".

Outstanding food! Thai house salad with peanut dressing delicious. Chicken fried rice also wonderful. Thick sliced chicken with fresh vegetables. Thai tea has a nice rich tea flavor. Stopped while home shopping. Way above my expectations!! I'll be back .

EXCELLENT curry. We loved the Khao Soi Shrimp and the portions are generous enough that we were able to turn it into 2 meals. Definitely will return for more Khao Soy.

Thoughts: I was excited for the noodles but this was just not great. The noodles were so mushy and stuck together and didn't seem fresh. The broccoli wasn't soggy, which was a plus. I was hoping for a great noodle dish and this just didn't add up. Very mediocre. Not flavorful or fresh. On the plus side the portion size was generous! Would not order again.

Thoughts: This dish was very good! The broth was very flavorful and creamy and spicy as I requested. This was the only dish that was full of flavor. The sides of red onion, green onion and crispy onion were packaged nicely on the side to keep it fresh. I was given a side of noodles, which was only filled 1/4 full. This one gets a thumbs up, however i probably still won't order again.

Ordered Thai red curry chicken. Spice level hot. The sauce was watery, too sweet, and not even a little bit spicy, let alone hot. Quantity size was small for the price as well. Very disappointed. Massaman curry flavor was better, but potatoes were way undercooked and tofu was put in too late to absorb flavor.

Expensive for what it was.

I had the spring rolls and the sweet and sour Pad something! Lol! All I know is it was good and I'll be returning for more!

Delicious food! So glad we found this place. The pad see ew and ginger stir fry were so tasty. The steamed chicken & pork dumplings were good as well (though they were a little bland for us). Will definitely be coming back for the noodles and stir fry!

Both my brother and I were shocked with how greasy the food was. Our dietary restrictions were met with just being ignored. I am allergic to onions and asked for the broccoli to not be added to my dish as well. Both items were in plenty all over my plate. We will not be going there again. I suggest you dont either.

I can’t comment on the ambiance or staff because I had my order delivered but….omg the food is amazing. My coworkers and I had shrimp pad Thai, chicken pad Thai and pad se ew and it was all amazing. Hot, fresh, perfectly seasoned. This is our new go to Thai restaurant!

Tofu had absolutely no flavor, which is a first for me at a thai spot.
What little vegetables in my curry were completely raw, and it tasted way too sweet and had no flavor outside of that, and worst of all they did not even spice it even though 'thai hot' was requested. Why is it so hard to find a good thai place in NC?

I’ve had a bad streak this week with food. I tried this place today and had their Pad Thai. I was not impressed with it too much. The flavor was good, but there wasn’t much chicken in it and too many noodles . I have had excellent Thai food from other places and this wasn’t up to par with what I’m used to. It’s hit or miss.
