The Name of Nimman
Nimman is the short form of Nimmanaradee, the 5th level of the heaven realm in Buddhism, where angels have a distinctive power to create anything just by wishing.
Our Logo
The bottom section resembling water waves represents Sritondon, the seven seas located at the 1st level of heaven realm. Each straight line separates heaven realm into five different levels. At the 5th level, Nimman, there is a celestial castle where a wishing-power angel resides. The floating curvature above is the boundary separating heaven's realm from the ultimate realm of Nirvana.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nimman Thai Eatery in Nutley, NJ, and it was an experience to remember. The restaurant has a beautifully decorated interior that creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the food presentation was just as impressive. The flavors were an authentic yet modern take on Thai cuisine—simply delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and full of smiles, making the visit even more enjoyable. If I find myself in NJ again, I'll definitely be back to Nimman Thai Eatery. Highly recommended!
“Outstanding Thai Food and Exceptional Service!”
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nimman Thai Eatery, and it was a great experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere set the stage for what turned out to be an exceptional meal.
The menu was extensive, offering a variety of traditional Thai dishes alongside unique, creative options. I ordered the Three Flavor Chicken and Drunken Noodles, both of which were cooked to perfection—bursting with flavor, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of spice. The Three Flavor Chicken was a perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory, while the Drunken Noodles had an incredible depth of flavor with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh vegetables.
What truly set this experience apart was the service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was to my liking and were happy to accommodate dietary preferences.
The blend of authentic flavors, a cozy ambiance, and top-notch service makes Nimman Thai Eatery a must-visit for any Thai food lover. I can’t wait to return and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!
If you are looking for authentic Thai food, look no further. Every fried dish is crispy, tasty, and, most importantly, not oily. You can choose the level of heat. I ordered duck love rice, and I was in love, too. The duck was tender! Drinks? 10/10.
For dessert, we had the mango sticky rice. It's a different style. It's still soft even not drenched in coconut sauce, and we love it because it's not too sweet. We loved the mangoes because they were lovely, tasted good, and reminded us of the Philippine mangoes.
The service was terrific. Everyone was smiling and approachable. I can't wait to be back!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nimman Thai Eatery in Nutley, NJ, and it was an experience to remember!
We started with an appetizer for two, which was a delightful assortment of small bites that set the stage perfectly for the meal ahead.
The highlights of the evening were the drunken noodles and the black pepper fish.
The drunken noodles were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spiciness to give you that satisfying bite without overwhelming your palate. If you’re looking for a dish that bites back, this is the one!
The black pepper fish was equally impressive, seasoned just right with a kick of black pepper that tied everything together beautifully. The authenticity of the flavors transported me straight to Thailand!
The service was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The place itself is small but cozy, making you feel like you’re enjoying a meal at a friend’s house.
Every dish was super delicious.
If you’re looking for an authentic and mouth-watering Thai food, Nimman Thai Eatery is the place to go!
I had the pleasure of dining at Nimman Thai this weekend. Their food is definitely the best Thai food I have had!! Everything is beautifully plated, super fresh, piping hot, and the spicing is delectable but not overwhelming. The Tom Kha soup and the Chicken Massaman Curry were flavorful and delicious. Additionally, this is the only Thai restaurant that I find the portions to be very generous!! The server was excellent. We were lucky enough to find this restaurant accidentally as we were driving bye, but can't wait to return. Highly recommend!!!!
I don't usually writer reviews on Google, but this restaurant deserves a shout out. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. Rarely, would a restaurant get raving reviews in all 3 categories, but this one does. The food was authentic, tasty & the right amount. The presentation was great. The place is new since June-July of this year and remains clean & well maintained (even the bathroom); hopefully, will remain as such. Book, our server, and I believe one of the partners in the business, was very welcoming, respectful, and kind. The restaurant space is small, but you don't feel that it is crowded; on the contrary, it felt spacious (Thursday night might be more quiet than the weekend). No loud music and it felt serene. The decorations are authentic and pretty. I was in NJ with family from CT and thought that we would try Nimman for the first time, it was a great choice. Keep up with the great work and hold on to the great service values that we had the pleasure of experiencing.
Though the restaurant is on the smaller side, it’s a wonderful place to eat out with family and friends. I ate out with my family (4 people) and ordered the mango fish salmon, duck loves rice, pad see-ew chicken, and drunken noodles shrimp. The portion sizes are good to share amongst others and the dishes came out in a good amount of time.
The drinks we got were Thai iced tea, pinky milky, and lime Thai iced tea. Pretty nice as well.
Although we were served the wrong order (we got pad Thai instead of drunken noodles), our server, Krit, attended the issue well and got us the correct order in no time.
Overall, service and food were really good. I would highly recommend you reserving seats, as the place doesn’t hold a lot of seating. One of the owners, Chris, was very nice and I’m thankful for such a nice meal :0!

My 3rd time coming, the food was great and the atmosphere was nice. Great customer service and will continue to come.
The garlic noodles are amazing !
Very cozy and friendly place. Food was delicious.
The wait staff was warm and welcoming the food was phenomenal and that atomoshere and decor was just super cute. We will definitely be back..
Appetizer was ok m(taste wise) but main course/ specials are all not good all most all the dishes were too sweet even though we asked for 7/10 level spicy it was sweet. But the quantity of the food was very very low, like for the price point everything was very low quantity. Taste wise it was not that good. I always like Thai food but this one was not even average it was all very sweet I felt. Overall for the price point it was not worth at all.
Very warm kind hearted people. The food is delicious and so are their drinks. I recommend going here! You will love it!
This is our first time ordering from here & we couldn't be more satisfied! Quality food & packaged well!

The best drunken noodle with shrimp I’ve had, and a delicious Thai iced tea! The sweetest of serves and host too made for such a lovely solo dining experience!
Delicious Thai takeout- wishing them lots of success so they stay in Nutley!!!! Try their food!!
The food is amazing ! So is the service - great prices !

Worth visiting if you like authentic thai food. Amazing food , very delicious and healthy.
Amazing food, super delicious and great desserts. The owner and staff are very friendly and very welcoming. Will visit again soon
Great Thai food! Definitely try it out. We had drunken noodles and Thai friend rice and spring rolls
This was by far the best Thai food I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh and so delicious. It was reasonably priced and I loved the atmosphere. If I could give more stars I would. I will definitely being going back.
Make way for the new king! There's a new king of Thai in Essex county. I recommend getting here asap before they are overbooked. For me Thai is all about the cohesion and harmonious spices, Niman does just that. The curry puff was elegantly crafted and delightful. The Tom yum soup had promising notes of acidity. The Nutley duck egg noodle is a must try!!!
I ate here late tonight . It stays open until 9:30 on a Saturday night which is later than most restaurants on the area. I ordered pineapple fried rice with shrimp and Tom Yum soup with chicken. The soup was very large and made me full. The rice I ate half and And the shrimps were very large in the rice. Service was great. The people that work here are very friendly and got me everything I needed . I also had for dessert a banana sticky rice which came in a banana leaf beautifully wrapped With 2 Servings . I ate one and brought home. The Thai tea was delicious.too. Great place great atmosphere beautifully decorated. I felt at home. I will be back.
Great food, must try this food!
The owner and staff were amazing, very attentive, and the nicest. The food was delicious. I think I inhaled it. My daughter and I both had shrimp pad Thai and for dessert. We had the espresso crème brûlée. We will definitely be back. Oh, and the prices are right not too expensive at all. Thank you for that.
Great food. Only problem, they need more space. When filled up, too much noise. But if you get there early, when most tables are not occupied, great atmosphere.
Place is clean, staff is friendly, great place. Will go back soon.
Just hope they can break through the wall and open up please.

My wife and I saw this new restaurant open up while driving down Franklin Avenue and took note of it to come back and try and I'm glad we did! The young man who was our waiter was extremely polite and professional. He was very kind. I got the garlic stir fry with beef and it was very good. I was a bit worried because Thai food is known for being a bit spicy and I can't handle spicy food at all. They were very accommodating and the food was not spicy at all as requested! But do not worry if you enjoy spicy Thai food because my wife got a more traditional spicy food and the heat level was perfect. To finish off our meal I got the chocolate lava cake which was very good and my wife had the mango sticky rice which she loved.
Definitely check out this place out!

Went here recently, and it was superb. Food and service are top notch. Highly recommended.
I didn’t know it, but I have been waiting for Nimman Thai Eatery for a long time. We love Thai food. There are many options in the area, but none hold a candle to Nimman. The quality, the flavors, all are the best. No competition.
I want the world to know so they can be the massive success their food warrants!
The khao soi is absolutely delicious.
The Drunken Noodles are the ultimate comfort food.
The Pad Thai is fabulous as well.
Run, don’t walk! You may wind up like us, ordering 5 times in the last two weeks.
Wow wow wow. Best/ most flavorful curry I’ve ever had. We had the massaman and the nimman noodle curry. I recommend them both highly.
We also got the drunken noodle- spicy and delicious! We’re so happy because we don’t have great local thai places .. until now!
I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. I was so impressed. The food was simply amazing and so fresh and the owner was so nice to chat with and the place itself is just spotless and adorable.
Duck loves rice is delicious. It is worth the money to buy it. The sauce is flavorful and duck is lean.

Best Thai food in the area! We've ordered twice from here so far and the food has been great. Good selection of vegetarian options also.
Ordered on a whim and can't wait to go back and try more. Very reasonable and quick service. All the food was amazing!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Thai restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that perfectly complemented the meal.
Food:
- The appetizers were a delightful mix of flavors, each bite bursting with authentic Thai spices.
- The main courses were nothing short of spectacular.
- The presentation of each dish was beautiful, showcasing the attention to detail and passion the chefs put into their craft.

Overall Experience:
From the exquisite food to the impeccable service, this restaurant exceeded all my expectations. It’s a perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine in a cozy and elegant setting. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning soon.
Cozy spot with friendly staff and delicious food
People extremely kind. Great atmosphere for lunchtime meetings. Very intimate but if that is your desire this is the perfect spot.
I love the food here
Just picked up take out and it was ready within 15 minutes. Pad Thai was amazing and shrimp was cooked perfectly. Will be back and hope more people find out about this new restaurant!
Very cozy and clean restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing! Definitely coming back.
Wow. I love Thai food, so I've been looking forward to this place opening for quite some time. I just ordered takeout for lunch, so I cannot meaningfully comment on the service or atmosphere (though I will say that my food was ready exactly when Toast said it would be and that the interior is very cute) but I can say that the Drunken Noodles were BOMB. Very flavorful. I ordered spicy and it was a nice amount of heat - enough that I had to blow my nose but not anywhere near painful. I will absolutely be coming back for more.
I would recommend this restaurant 5 stars for some reasons. First the atmosphere is cosy, there are more feeling like home, the servers are friendly and nice services. Next, the tastes are savory and yummy, I realized there is authentic Thai food in this town, it is Kao Soi and Pad Thai and the desserts, I would say the restaurant represent to me it’s “AMAZING!!!” Mango with Sticky Rice - Presented by the golden tray. Last but not least, I really love this restaurant. I wish you also surprise as me.
Stopped in on a whim for an evening bite. Turns out it’s Nimman’s second day open! The food was wonderful. We had the chive pancakes (which were actually little pancake square bites- unique but delicious), the Nimman Curry, and the Drunken Noodles. The curry was as beautifully plated as it was tasty, and the drunken noodles were the best we’ve ever had. Thai iced teas rounded everything out nicely. We look forward to coming back!
Nice atmosphere and service. Food was delicious, nice presentation love it
