Service was perfect. Sushi was prepared and plated extremely well and noodle dish was customized just for us. Fantastic ! Will definitely recommend to my friends.

Diner Review №2

Very nice and friendly staff

Diner Review №3

I’m very happy with the food here, it is a very good option in Millburn, food is really good and the waitress was friendly. Highly recommended for Asian food, the sushi option we got tasted fresh and delicious.

The best Thai food in town.Everyone in this place is so pleasant!
Highly recommended..

Diner Review №8

Really enjoy the sushi here, with a variety of choices. Love all the flavors!

Diner Review №9

10/10 fantastic food and service!

Diner Review №10

Loved the pineapple fried rice!!

Diner Review №11

Apparently this restaurant has a new owner. Since covid, the restaurant only offered take out, they never resumed in person dining following covid. I heard the new owner reopened the dining room. So I tried eating in as the food was always very good.

The eat in experience was horrible, only the front room was open. So the ambiance was that of a waiting room for pick up orders and grub hub guys hanging out, talking on the phone, etc. We did not have a dedicated server, our server was cashier, food runner, bus person, etc. Hard to get water refilled, entrees served with appetizer dishes still in front of us, then still not removed once entrees were served.

The food was not as good as the past, mostly vegetables, small portions of chicken and shrimp in the pad thai, and curry, and just not flavorful. They also added sushi to the "Thai", menu... didn't seem fresh, we did try a roll with our apps, flavorless tuna, and salmon was washed out and had no fresh shine to it.. Most restaurants that try to do everything fail, this is a good example of that... is it a Thai food restaurant, or a Japanese sushi place???

All in all, a disappointment on all levels... if your going to try, do not eat in... as it will ruin the entire experience. I will not return...

Diner Review №12

Great place for affordable Thai, highly recommend!

Diner Review №13

Diner Review №14

Really like the Thai style curry and hibachi beef. Chef’s choice of sushi boat is fantastic!

Diner Review №15

I have been coming here for years and even with the new owners I still find the food delicious! The new ownership is super friendly and kind, before I left they always make sure I had a good experience

Diner Review №16

Delicious food! The red curry and beef with broccoli are fantastic and our daughter loves the salmon avocado roll :) great for lunch we’ve never ordered something we didn’t like

Diner Review №17

Nice to see this place open for dine-in. The place looks a lot nicer inside (brighter with more windows) than when I last was inside pre- Covid. Nice remodel! Food is solid as always. Added sushi to the menu which I look forward to trying. Great local business.

Diner Review №18

We love the food at Thai House- have been coming here for years and tried their sushi for the first time too. It was excellent! We love that they have vegan duck- it’s delicious! Our toddler loved it too!

Diner Review №19

Awesome Thai..
Love it.

Diner Review №20

The sushi here is my favorite! They have great options for vegetarians and the staff are so nice. Thai tea here is so good too.

Diner Review №23

AWESOME! Everything was to our liking. Great food, speedy service, fabulous Thai tea, and our server, Tina was one of a kind. She is very bubbly, kind and willing to serve with a smile.

Diner Review №24

Service was wonderful and the food came very fast! The food was great, especially the green curry! Great experience overall and would recommend to others!

Diner Review №25

The staff was professional and attentive. The dinner was delicious and the portion size was just right. I highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly return.

Diner Review №26

Diner Review №27

We have been coming here before renovations and food has always been superb! Love the beef and broccoli and fried tofu! Service is always on point too

Diner Review №33

Diner Review №34

Everything here are so so good they even got dine in back after years you guys should take a look at this place

Diner Review №35

Ordered food for takeout - I am very disappointed, chicken so chewy and vegetables are overcooked and overall its flavorless and greasy and awful 🙁

Diner Review №36

Soooo disappointed. I knew there might be a problem when we saw the name change but I didn’t expect it to be this bad. We went there all the time and knew Kevin the former owner. We were told he was “on vacation”! He would be ashamed. The food is awful. Not authentic, greasy, flavorless, no heat whatsoever in any of the spicy dishes. Vegetables were not fresh and over cooked and ribs were tough and more like Chinese. If I wanted Chinese food there are plenty of options around here but Thai is something totally different. Was one of only two excellent Asian restaurants in Millburn (the other being Saigon Cafe). We know Covid was tough but this sell-out is unfortunate and the end of an era. RIP the real Thai House. We will not be back.

Diner Review №37

Diner Review №38

This is no longer the same Thai house as before. Food is not the same quality. Don’t make the same mistake we did - go elsewhere.

Diner Review №39

We’ve been eating Thai from Thai House for years. Decided to get food yesterday and noticed the name change. That should’ve been a warning. Food was awful. The same dish we’ve ordered a million times. Awful. Will never go back.

Diner Review №40

The food is Amazing

Diner Review №41

It was yummy but found a hair in food

Diner Review №42

Thai House is AMAZING and such a hidden gem inNJ!! I'm a bit of a Thai Curry connoisseur and have tried different curries from dozens and dozens of places and this has continued to be my #1 favorite over years.

The vegetables are always fresh, the curries and food are consistently DELISH, the portions are the perfect size, and their brown rice is the best l've ever had -- not the typical flavorless brown long-grain rice, it's dark brown, hearty, and yummy. My favorite dish is their Thai red curry with tofu, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

My mom Sonia and our family are huge fans and always stop by when we're around. Kevin, the owner, is so friendly and always makes time to greet us and those who pick up food.

We will forever and always be back. Highly recommend checking them out.

Diner Review №45

Always a hit! Amazing cuisine. Everything they create is a wonderful Thai experience. Wonderful restaurant.

Hopeful that they will reopen their dine in option.

After all they have been through with Ida flooding, want to support them more than ever.

Diner Review №46

Very uninspired dishes, the "drunken noodles (spicy)" were not flavorful or spicy, the Tom Kha tasted like a bowl of warmed up coconut milk. Does not measure up to average Thai restaurant

Diner Review №47

Interesting place, but in a really good way. Does it taste like other Thai food I’ve had? No. The papaya salad is sweeter, I’ve never had or seen a sweet and sour tofu at a Thai place, and the fried rice was a purple whole grain type. That being said, I loved it! Good flavors, spice, and best of all, the vegetables tasted super fresh. Great portions as well. It feels as though it’s different than other Thai places but it won’t disappoint

Diner Review №48

Diner Review №49

Grabbed some takeout, the beef pad see ew had a lot of vegetables and wasn't that bad, just a big greasy and salty. I did like the Tom yum soup.

Diner Review №50

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №52

Diner Review №53

Delivery-
Pad see ew - not genuine Thai. They make a Chinese dish instead ( beef chow fun)

Pad Thai - completely no flavor they just add chopped peanuts and a lime wedge on the side.
(at least they use the right Noodle type)

green curry- not even going to try it at this point.

This is just a Chinese take-out restaurant posing as a Thai restaurant.

Diner Review №54

Diner Review №55

This place is absolutely terrible. And not the inside atmosphere because it's takeout only, each place can do whatever, but the food is terrible. Not only where the dishes such as the Pad thai and the duck flavorless the other dishes were actually terrible tasting. Any review that says this places is great is either a coerced review or have never are normal food. Do not get!

Diner Review №56

Diner Review №57

I ordered fried rice. Doesn't taate anything like Thai food....I called to question recipe amd response was if you don't like it go somewhere else. Thanks I will

Diner Review №58

I’ve been here a few times very good Thai food

Diner Review №59

Good drunken noodle.

Diner Review №60

Diner Review №61

Food is always good here. Authentic, rich flavors that is way better than many Thai restaurants we had tried. We always go back. After CoVid, they now only have Take-out and no dine in. We don’t mind driving out of the way for some really good Thai dishes. Pineapple fried rice, shrimp massaman curry, drunken noodles are some of our favorites. Highly recommend this place.

Diner Review №62

This Thai restaurant is take out only, and focuses on excellence in preparation and ingredients. The protein portions in any dish is generous. I recommend the curry, the Pad Thai and the Drunken Noodles. This is the best Asian restaurant in Millburn.

Diner Review №63

I have to say, this has to be the worst pad thai I've ever had. Noodles were soggy, no thai taste at all, and the noodles were pink in color! Very disappointed!

Diner Review №64

Still take out only. Sigh

Diner Review №65

Diner Review №66

Good service and prices. Tasty dishes. Not for people who like their Thai extra hot. Take out only

Diner Review №67

My husband and I love this place and have been eating here for the past 7 years. Food is very delicious and price point is great. We have many favorite dishes, even when we are curious about a dish we give it a try and it doesn’t disappoint!

Diner Review №68

The duck is 80% vegetables and the pad Thai is no good

Diner Review №69

My last meal was tasteless.

Diner Review №70

ordered out thru grubhub. my meal was hot and delicious and they followed my special instructions

Diner Review №71

Best Thai restaurant in town! Easy to order over the phone, quick pick up and always delicious and spicy, the way I like it!

Diner Review №72

The best mango sticky rice I’ve had! Very generous and flavorful portions, and good take out. Will order from again!

Diner Review №73

I ordered a pad thai and it was disgusting!!!! Never again

Diner Review №74

The Thai salad with calamari and the chicken fried rice is the best! Very refreshing and different from the usual Thai fare of Pad Thai and Green /Red Curry. I love it!

Diner Review №75

Good food. I did not see any customers dining in at my visit 7PM

Diner Review №76

Diner Review №77

Doesn’t taste anything like Thai food. Couldn’t bring myself to eat this

Diner Review №78

Diner Review №79

Decent food.

Quick service.

Fresh Veggies 🥕

Had the Drunken Noodle. Spring Rolls.

Diner Review №80

This was a drive by lunch pickup. Not usually in the area. Poor quality ingredients and too much red pepper in the Tom Kha soup. Wouldn’t go there again, if I had the option. Better Thai places in Fanwood and Clark.

Diner Review №81

Diner Review №82

Really good. Can't recall a better delivered or take out Thai dinner in the Millburn Short Hills Summit area. Period. Everything was tasty. Can't go wrong by ordering from this restaurant.

Diner Review №83

Thai food.

Diner Review №84

Restaurant said we could only order through ubereats. Placed an order and they took all the information and we waited for an hour and a half and food never arrived. Called restaurant back and no one picked up. Think entire delivery services are a scam and do not trust any restaurant that ONLY allows delivery through Ubereats or Doordash

Diner Review №85

Always good customer service, food is always fresh and tasty

Diner Review №86

Great food and service!! One of the best Thai restaurants around. I’ve been a long time customer and highly recommend Thai House.

Diner Review №87

Best Thai food in town, very reasonably priced and huge serving sizes. Easily last two dinners each portion

Diner Review №88

Diner Review №89

They seriously have the best Pad Thai I've ever eaten in this area and their Pad See Ewe (spelling might be wrong) is absolutely delicious as well. Also recommend the Thai Iced Tea, and Tom Yum Soup:)

Diner Review №90

Blah. My family and I ordered Thai (we love it) and had never ordered from Thai House. Sadly, never will again. The food was just overcooked and lacking any real flavor. My wife and son each got Pad Thai. The noodles were mushy and really had no flavor. We ordered fresh rolls (which we normally love) and yet the peanut sauce was from a (cheap) bottle and the fresh rolls lacked any flavor as well. Usually there is Thai basil or something that gives it something special. I ordered a chicken sauté dish and again, it lacked any real spice or flavor, just drenched in a brown sauce. The beauty of Thai food is that its cooked fresh and has some real fresh flavors. Not Thai House. Sorry, wont be coming back.

Diner Review №91

Diner Review №92

Good food

Diner Review №93

Semi-hidden gem in Millburn. Some of the best Thai I've had. Wok Glazed Duck, Green Curry Salmon and all varieties of drunken noodles are totally killer.

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Good thai

Diner Review №96

Diner Review №97

Ordered Pad Thai to takeout, and it was very disappointing . I hope they do better in the future.

Diner Review №98

Felt like a chinese version of thai food. Heavy on the oil and little flavor. Although the portions are decent for the price so if you like greasy food this is the place to go

Diner Review №99

Diner Review №100

Diner Review №101

Healthy food at a cheap cost. Typical Thailand dishes

Diner Review №103

Diner Review №106

Diner Review №107

Thai House once served fresh, well-seasoned dishes with rich aromas, light and subtle on the palate. Lately, ingredients seem to come out of a can, with a metallic aftertaste, warmed, and thrown together perfunctorily. The chicken, be it with broccoli or in pad thai, is a composite meat, chewy, fatty, and flavorless. Our chicken and broccoli ended up, for us, just broccoli, as no one in our party could stomach the "chicken". At the end of our meal, the bowl sat pathetically, full with "chicken," devoid of vegetable.

No one in our party will be returning.

Diner Review №108

I do not like to give low ratings but I have to be truthful about the cuisine at this establishment. I was very disappointed in the flavor of the selections I made. My server was very nice and attentive, however the food left a lot to be desired.

Diner Review №109

We come here pretty often , never disappointed. I highly recommend green and red curries if you haven’t tried. This place is simply awesome.

Diner Review №110

Diner Review №111

Food wasn't very good. I asked if I could get a fried egg for a (difficult) child and they refused.

Thai Chicken Dumpling & Chicken Pad Thai. Was Delicious!

I like the flavors and the vegetables are fresh, but I will never order meat here again. Every few orders I try a chicken dish (instead of veg/tofu) and every time it's tough and spongy. Tonight I wasted $14 on the peanut chicken which I had to throw away because it was such a disgusting texture.

Diner Review №132

This is one of our favorite Thai place in years. Like their yellow curry, drunken noodles, and Thai ice tea. Will definitely make this our family regular visit.

As always, take these reviews with slight grain of salt as I think there’s only so much you can conclude from one visit! Especially as my palate probably likes heavier flavors.

As someone who particularly likes Thai food, especially of my go-to minced chicken pad krapow, I wouldn’t visit this restaurant again.

Atmosphere, service, cleanliness, etc are decent but the dish I tried tasted somewhat bland.

In brief: if you just wanted a hint of Thai food and needed one in a pinch, this place could do. Otherwise I’d suggest looking elsewhere, like SLA in Montclair, Siam Inn in Cranford, etc.

Thai House used to be one of my favorite Thai places. Now it’s just average.

Diner Review №153

Consistently tasty Thai food in Millburn. Must try!

Diner Review №154

I love Thai food in general. Thai House has excellent Thai food! If you like hot, nourishing soup, try the Tom Yum. It's not and sour and feels like it's got healing powers. For the main course, I've had Pad Thai and Sambal Sauce with Beef. Those were both heavenly. My friends red and green curry and were really happy with their meals. Service is courteous, prices are good. Highly recommend and will be back again and again!

Diner Review №155

Excellent food. Would definitely go again.

Diner Review №156

Diner Review №157

Nice luncheon. Great soup

Diner Review №158

Clean, decent price, but the food is not the best. Americanized. Lots of substitute veges. Green curry must have bamboo shoot. Pad Thai should not be soggy. And why does the Summer roll have mangoes in it?

Diner Review №159

Great food and super friendly and attentive staff.
The portions of food are large for what you pay, and the quality is some of the best around.

Looking forward to coming back here again

Diner Review №160

Not the best location but the food is awesome. We’ve been trying a few Thai places and this is our #1. Recommend the soups, house fried rice and the one with basil and pineapple. Delicious!

Diner Review №161

the appetizers were good... that's why at least it's a 2 star... nothing good after... the main entrees were disappointing... we were seated in the inner room first but we were served last and we just ordered common ones... we were there for at least 2 hours and 80% of that was waiting for our food... not sure why it's rated highly here on google...

Diner Review №182

So so so goood!!! Honestly when I go out to Thai restaurants I usually get a pad Thai but I felt like trying something different I went for the green Thai curry! Honestly hands down one of the best I’ve had. It had a mix of chicken and prawns and it was great the spices the flavour everything just tasted fantastic. The spring rolls in the other hand was quite awful I must say might be the batch I had but definitely wouldn’t be ordering them again.
