First time trying this restaurant and absolutely love it, love the beef pad thai!

Diner Review №2

Really awesome Thai food! The papaya salad was so gooood.

Diner Review №3

One of the best Thai meals I’ve had in a long time. I got drunken noodles with chicken and my husband got the spare ribs and beef in garlic sauce and they were ALL ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! if I lived closer this would be a regular for me.

Diner Review №4

my favorite thai restaurant. Best in the area!! Great food Great service.

Diner Review №5

Excellent Thai food! As good as any high end Thai dining I have had at some of the finest in NYC.

I am willing to pay the high price for excellent food but please make two small adjustments.
Always add more chicken to the Chicken Pad Thai, and simply fill to the top the tiny cups of sauces when someone orders the delicious appetizer platter.

Excellent appetizer platter, Chicken Pad Thai, and Chicken Panang Curry.

Thank you! I have been three times and I will keep coming back!

Diner Review №6

Hidden gem. Cozy windowside four-top almost like a private room, softly lit, with bonus heater. Food was fast, delicious, and hot.

Diner Review №7

If I could give 10 stars I would ! Best Thai food I’ve ever had

Diner Review №8

Great takeout Thai food. They have veggie duck, too for us veg heads, which is not easy to find!

Diner Review №11

Absolutely the best Thai food I’ve had in NJ. I struggled to find anything half way decent until I came here. Everything is delicious, and the owner and staff are all so kind. Couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Diner Review №12

Simple food

Diner Review №13

The food are spot on and very comforting.

Diner Review №14

I ordered calamari, the quantity was very small and not cooked well.

Diner Review №15

We took take out as the restaurant wasn’t wheelchair accessible. Food was good as it gives the vibe of family joint. Unfortunately, I was surprised to see they have forgotten to give my 2 curry puffs that’s my usual favorite.

Diner Review №16

Diner Review №17

best thai food i ever had & made new friends ♥️ still dreaming about all the amazing food we had & we will have to come back soon!!!!!

Diner Review №18

Really nice spot! Great for dining in; super friendly staff. Food was delicious and served fast. Definitely recommend.

Diner Review №19

Exelent food and service!

Diner Review №20

Food was ok. They didn’t even turn the fan on on a hot afternoon. The rice and noodles turned up late that we had to get them to-go. We went up to them to pay, to ask for togo, to turn on and setup the fan ourselves. I refused to tip and they insisted I fill out the tip. The person wasn’t crazy about it. I would tip for good or atleast normal service. Not for this on top of paying $50 for two people.

Diner Review №21

Delicious

Diner Review №22

Diner Review №23

Diner Review №24

Clean. Food was fresh and delicious. They were hand making crab wantons when we arrived and you could tell our curry puff appetizer was hand made also! Our first visit but definitely NOT our last !

Diner Review №25

Good OG Thai food!

Diner Review №26

Everything my parents and I had was delicious! The mango curry, the drunken noodles and the seafood soup. A side of coconut rice to go with the curry was perfection. It was such a pleasure to be there as the hostess/waitress was incredibly sweet.

Diner Review №27

Excellent Thai Food, I eat there weekly!

Diner Review №28

I was excited to try this place, but was disappointed by overpriced, bland food. As another review noted, there was a lack of taste. I ordered the cashew nut Thai style, but my rice was spicier than the actual meal. For the price I expected a lot more protein. Maybe it was an off night?

Diner Review №29

Best Thai food ever, the owner is always there so you know everything comes out amazing. I love the food there. I’m obsessed with Thai food since I tried this restaurant.

Diner Review №30

The good reviews must be from decades ago. $17.00 for a few chunks of beef and vegetables? Also, so bland! Coconut shrimp were just god awful. Place was COMPLETELY empty at lunch time. Now I know why. Avoid.

Diner Review №31

Light on atmosphere, but great food, reasonable prices.

Diner Review №32

Diner Review №33

My favorite restaurant! They have the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The owners are so kind and welcoming, creating the most lovely dining atmosphere. I really appreciate the fact that they have so many vegan friendly options as well. My favorite dish is the vegetable red curry, it’s out of this world!! Everything they make is incredible.

Diner Review №34

If I could leave 6 stars I would. Boonton Thai has the best Thai cuisine in north NJ. I’ve been eating here for a long time now so I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu and not a single thing has disappointed, with options for everyone including GF and Vegetarian, you will leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face. The owners are so friendly and sweet. Eating here feels like eating in my grandmas kitchen, they pour so much love into their food and they really care about the quality of their ingredients! Definitely worth a visit! My favorite dishes are the duck rolls, massaman curry, and coconut dessert!

Diner Review №35

Very cute place. Food was great. Chef was cooking nearby! Waitress was sweet. Don't miss the coconut dessert, yum.

Diner Review №36

Diner Review №37

Great food, cozy atmosphere. Helpful staff. I would definitely recommend.

Diner Review №38

Stop in dinner as I love thai food. The restaurant is nice and cozy, we had a warm welcoming, service was good and waitress was attentive. Food was flavorful and fresh. Thai dumplings- one of the best Ive had. Duck was crispy and tamarind sauce super fresh. The spice was perfect in the pad prik sauce and chicken well cooked. The pineapple fried rice was delicious and full of flavor. Desserts also tasteful. I dont live in the area but definitely worth the drive- well return soon to try more on the menu.

Diner Review №39

I want to preface this by saying this was our first time ordering from here, and we placed a large takeout order so maybe it was just a one-off experience! Unfortunately, we had a really disappointing takeout meal from Boonton Thai Cuisine, with our main issue being with the cost vs. the quality and portions of the food. We paid a little more than $170 (tip included) to feed 6 people, and the sizes of our main dishes and appetizers were shockingly small considering that's about $30 per person. We got the beef fried rice, chicken fried rice, Singapore noodles, chicken and broccoli, Boonton Thai chicken wings, vegetable spring rolls, chicken satay, Thai salad, pla rard prik, and garlic chicken, and nothing really stood out as super flavorful or worth the price to us. The chicken satay was just some short, thin strips of cold dry chicken for nearly $8, and I don't think I've ever gotten smaller spring rolls from a restaurant before. All of our dishes were tasty enough to finish, but overall everything was pretty bland and we didn't have any leftovers, which again we expected for paying so much per person. The person that took my order estimated it would take 30-40 minutes, but I ended up waiting an extra 20 minutes in the mostly empty restaurant for it to be finished. The kitchen did seem very busy though and it's a small restaurant, so I definitely understand filling a really big order would take that long!

Like I said up top, this place has great reviews from locals who have been coming here for years so we might have just caught them on a bad night or maybe we didn't order their best dishes. I wonder if it'd be better to dine-in here, since the atmosphere of the restaurant is great and the woman that helped me with my order was incredibly kind. It smells amazing in there too! You can tell they work really hard and a lot of love goes into the food at Boonton Thai Cuisine, but it just missed the mark for us, and we were really disappointed with how much we spent on small portions of food that didn't justify the price.

Diner Review №40

Stopped in here and had the Sweet and Sour Chicken... and I gotta tell ya, it did NOT disappoint. Also had a Thai Ice Tea, which was incredible. The place isn't elegant inside, but who cares... I've been to Thailand, and the shabby interior is in it's own way kind of authentic Thai. :) The Thai family running the place couldn't have been nicer. Really nice people. I'll go again for sure! Boonton is a very sweet little town, by the way!

Diner Review №41

Excellent drunken noodles with roasted duck!

Still the best Thai place in Boonton!

Diner Review №42

I love Thai food, and travel far and wide for my passion. It’s ironic perhaps but with all my travel around the world I find that one has inspired me more than all the others. This one is located sort of nearby but it’s worth the drive. I love to come for lunch, and I’ve worked my way through the deep menu pretty succinctly. I love a duck salad, spicy please. Soups are warming and filling, noodles are crisp and perfectly cooked and fried rice inspires. No, it’s not sweet Thai food. If you seek that genre, there are other places for you. I just love it for the utter authenticity.

Diner Review №43

The food was AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Not only authentic Thai cuisine but extremely tasty. Literally some of the best food I've ever had. Will definitely will be coming back.

Diner Review №44

Decent tasting drunken noodle but way too greasy. Bummer.

Diner Review №45

Fantastic spot for Thai food. Appetizers, entrées, and desserts all had great flavor.
Service was great. Really looking forward to returning here and trying something new!

Diner Review №46

I loved the food and service.
I highly recommend the restaurant and I'm definitely coming back

Thanks!

Diner Review №47

They got the order wrong and then lied to qmenu support. My scheduled pick up time was 830 and I picked up at 835. I even called ahead to say I'm on the way. Food was cold from their table. They lied about my timing and said I picked it up 850. I will NOT be ordering from here again and I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Diner Review №48

Wondering experience. Delicious Appetizers, freshly prepared entries. Very welcome experience too! Looking forward to trying Friday lunch specials:)

Diner Review №49

Excellent! This is the place for delicious Thai Food! Taste the freshness of authentic Thai. Do not confuse this place with the other Thai restaurant in Boonton. This place is five-stars and there is no competition in town.

Diner Review №50

Smaller seating inside with quick service. There’s a little bit of a smell when you’re inside, because the kitchen is open and is in same area. The food is really amazing and freshly made. I loved the vegetarian steamed dumplings 🥟 and basil fried rice. Medium spicy was not too spicy. Highly recommend to try amazing Thai food. Note: pay by cash to avoid 3.5% credit card usage fee.

Diner Review №51

Best Thai restaurant! Highly recommend the Pad Thai with any choice of meat, the Boonton Fried Rice, the dumplings, the Thai Tea, the Tom Yum Soup, everything so good!

Diner Review №52

Nancy is wonderful as is the chef ❤️🌟❤️So accommodating and generous!

Diner Review №53

Excellent Thai food 😍. Everything so fresh. I tried garlic 🍤 and shrimps fried rice. Definitely coming back.

Diner Review №54

Diner Review №59

Diner Review №60

Authentic Thai food. Saw this place was close by and gave it a try. I'm glad that I did. Everything was so tasteful. Can't wait to go back and try out other items on their menu.

Diner Review №61

Update- 10-Apr-22

Finally, after the pandemic, it's open for dine-in, and being my wife’s favorite Thai restaurant- we went this weekend.

We got the window seat which I guess, was the only decent table there. 80% of business still goes through online orders, I guess.

We Ordered-

Spare ribs – Avoid it, small pieces of ribs are fried in oil. Not good

Drunken Noodles (Thai Spicy) – it was superb. It's my wife's fav dish and she swears by it. It was authentic and not sweet like other places. She has tried the same dish multiple times and she is never disappointed (I can say that by looking at her face when she eats that..hahaha)

Tom yum Noodles soup – I am a guy who goes for either soupy noodles or fried rice. The soup was perfectly spicy, full of veggies and chicken. Perfect balance.

It was a nice dinner having our fav dishes.

Recommended and Go for it.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

My wife is a big noodle fan. Like any kind of noodles. After reading all the rave reviews about the “spicy drunken noodles” we thought of giving it a shot. Was in that area and we did a take out ( of course due to this pandemic thing, we are avoiding dine in) for the chicken version in spice level -Thai.

It was just so so good, Its the best she has tried so far in the US. man, was she happy.. haha... It was not sweet, very authentic, and perfect. The quantity was enough for a single person. Will definitely go back to try other dishes as well. The pick up was seamless, had ordered via their online service.

Diner Review №62

Absolutely the best pineapple fried rice and Thai Tran I’ve ever had. The owners are extremely friendly too. I will definitely be back every time I come to Boonton. I would recommend Boonton Thai cuisine to anyone.

Diner Review №63

We ordered take out, everything was tasty and delicious. Friendly staff.

Diner Review №64

I tried their pineapple fried rice. It was pretty good, but the only issue was it was a bit salty. This is by far the best Thai food in Boonton though, so I'll definitely hit this place up again!

Diner Review №65

I love the drunken noodles

Diner Review №66

Great food at a great price made fast. Every order has been made perfectly!

Diner Review №67

I have been eating at Thai Boonton for 3 years. The food is excellent, the flavors are extraordinary and the service is by far the best than any restaurant. They cook the food with so much passion and love. I have eaten at Thai restaurants throughout the country and there is absolutely no comparison. If I could eat here everyday I would. The prices are fantastic and the portions size is great. You will be full and delighted with the quality. Can’t wait to go to Thailand since this restaurant is legit with Thai food Experienced Chefs!!!!!

Diner Review №68

I had the best experience. Delicious, clean and friendly atmosphere.

Diner Review №69

Diner Review №70

Diner Review №71

Diner Review №72

Friendly little family joint not fancy, but solid menu well executed. Take out only for Covid

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Diner Review №75

Nice food

Diner Review №76

Best Thai spot in the area! Hundred percent recommend!!!

Diner Review №77

Diner Review №78

They have been deteriorating in taste and quality from past few years. This is the 3rd time they have messed up our order and gave us 2 entree dishes with eggs although it was specified clearly to make all dishes without eggs. The owner was rude and asked us to return the dishes. Which is not feasible as restaurant is far away and we would rather throw away the dishes than waste another 45 min and we did that. Not happy at all. Boonton Thai used to be one Preferable restaurant in the past but not any more...

Diner Review №79

I usually get thai food from Real thai halal in parsippany but it was closed so I thought of trying a different thai place. I read all the great reviews so I ordered drunken noodles and curry. The price is higher than other thai places around the area and the portions are much less. I got a kiddie cup worth of rice along with the curry (shown in photos) and the drunken noodles were burnt and the curry was okay.. i have tried many thai places in morris county over the years and this place is not upto par. It was very disappointing especially after reading all the rave reviews I expected better.

Diner Review №80

Awesome food and a great value. If you grew up in a household with Indian cuisine like me you can order hot. If you really like hot then you can get the thai style. Most people will enjoy medium. I especially like the drunken noodles and the basil chicken or pork.

Diner Review №81

The food is just about as good as it can get!

Diner Review №82

Third time in a row we ordered dinner entrees to go, their portions are getting less and less. Today our containers were less than half full!!! We ordered A few years ago and it was overflowing full. I don’t know if there’s a new owner, but their portions are less than a lunch portion. When I pay $16 for an entree I expect a full container, not 40% full. Taste is good, but quantity is wayyy to little.

Diner Review №83

worst take food i ever had!!! I paid $25.00 for scraps of food that wasn't edible!! i tried all simple things i ordered and threw it out. minus star

Diner Review №84

Always have such great food when we go here. Smaller seating area inside, But usually pretty quick because of that. There’s a little bit of a smell when you’re inside, because the kitchen is so closely located and within the same general area. Highly recommended.

Diner Review №85

Freshest and tastiest Thai food around!

Diner Review №86

Diner Review №87

Diner Review №88

The food is fast and delicious! And the staff are very warm and welcoming!

Diner Review №89

Review is for lunch take out. I placed order online, food was ready in 15 min, service was friendly. We ordered red curry with chicken and noodle soup with shrimp, both were very good, light and tasty, good portion size for lunch. I will also try to order dinner sometime.

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

Thought food was delicious seamed a little expensive but didn't break the bank either

Diner Review №92

Our chicken dishes were delicious, unfortunately the soup was very plain side. The mango soup that we got to go was also great, but for $17 it should have been 3 times the size!!

Diner Review №98

This is one of the best Thai place places we have ever been to and we’ve been to dozens! Their food is always fresh and delicious. I love the Drunken Noodle with the Veg. mock duck! Best drunken noodles I’ve EVER had. My wife loves all their curries. We often get takeout since it’s so local for us and it’s not a very big place.

Diner Review №99

Diner Review №121

By far the best Thai restaurant I have eaten at. I have been to many and nothing else seems to compare!

Diner Review №122

Have not really experiences too much Thai food, but this was a good experience. The toughest thing was picking something from the menu with so mant combinations. The biggest is the level of heat, I went medium and it was plenty. People were nice and provided good customer service. I would go back again.

Diner Review №123

Highly recommend the salad with grilled chicken....medium spice. It is refreshing and delicious!

Diner Review №124

Diner Review №125

Diner Review №126

We found this wonderful spot as we were walking around the area. We are glad we went in as the food was fantastic. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning. Thank you.

Diner Review №127

My friends and I had a chance to dine at Boonton Thai Cuisine restaurant around a week ago. Honestly, it was random place that we have chosen to eat and we were very happy with our choice. We were blown away by how good the food was and overall service. We didn't order anything too fancy. We had some Thai curry, some sautéed dishes and Pla garlic fish. All food was was delicious, well prepared and nicely served. The restaurant isn't perhaps the venue where you would organize your wedding, but it was very neat and clean.

This place is definitely great destination for anyone that wants to quickly get some tasty Thai food and not spend too much money on it. Highly recommended!

Diner Review №128

Diner Review №129

Diner Review №130

Always really good food, pleasant service and good prices..

Diner Review №131

Diner Review №132

Try the spicy drunken noodles! Amazing!!

Diner Review №133

Great Lunch menu. With tip we eat a lot and pay only $13. I have had the first 7 items on the list menu. All are great. Drunken noodles is the best.

Diner Review №134

Little hole in the wall kinda place. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly!

Diner Review №135

Diner Review №136

Diner Review №137

Our go-to for Thai. Excellent food and friendly service. Dining room is small and parking can be constrained but its worth it!

Diner Review №138

Very small Thai place, with decent pad thai. Parking is a bit hard to find nearby.

I ordered online and was quoted 15 minutes. It took 30 minutes to actually get my food.

Diner Review №139

A small place but the food was so flavor full! Blew us away! The Thai ice tea was ehh but the food..... Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so good! Can't find a Thai place in Chicago that's better

Diner Review №140

A small family run restaurant with delicious food. Very casual and authentic. We had the red curry, panang curry, mango salad, that salad and sticky rice with mango. Everything was perfectly prepared and the staff was very polite and attentive.

Diner Review №141

Super delicious definitely try the pad thai and curry puffs

Diner Review №142

Good food. Service. Small dining area, but excellent food.

Diner Review №143

Diner Review №144

This place isn't the closest Thai to me but I make the trip because these guys are great.

Diner Review №145

Green curry with tofu. Yummmmm .....

Diner Review №146

Really delicious food that hits that comfort spot.

Diner Review №147

One of the best Thai restaurants in the area!

Diner Review №148

Everything there delicious, medium spicy is good, we tried a lot of there! But it's looks like their portions becoming smaller than earlier

Diner Review №149

Diner Review №150

Diner Review №151

I frequently enjoy Thai food at least once a week... I ordered Tom soup only which had 2 shrimp in it, the payaya salad and the Jungle curry which was very tasty but too watery and similar to the Tom soup. I was not looking forward to having soupy main course and not satisfied for the $30 I spent.

Diner Review №152

I enjoy their Shrimp Pad Thai. I go there on a regular basis.

Diner Review №153

The food was good but the restaurant leaves a little to be desired. Doesn’t take Amex either

Diner Review №154

Diner Review №155

sooooooo yummy!

Diner Review №156

Delicious food! The Boonton Thai fried rice and Spicy Drunken noodles this place offers are my favorite.

Beware! Please check the amount on the check at this place. They give you hand writing check and write the gratuity amount at the back of the check. So if you don't check your bill, you end up paying tip, not knowing that gratuity is already added.

Diner Review №161

Diner Review №162

Food is great. Hot pot with shrimp and glass noodle absolutely great. Duck tamarind very very good. Nice size portions, super fresh, and authenticly spiced.

Happily took our table reservation on a busy Saturday night.

Service is somewhat unprofessional, seats are cramped, and decor nonexistent, but it's easy to overlook when the food is this good.

Very fair prices for this quality food.

BYO.

Diner Review №164

Diner Review №165

Ridiculously friendly staff and phenomenal food. I haven't had a single dish here that isn't awesome.

Diner Review №173

Diner Review №174

Mango Curry Special was very good and there were plenty of pork and shrimp. The Pineapple fried rice was good too. The portion of Pad See Ew was a little small and the rice noodle was a little too hard. The portion of the Fried calamari is small too. The Fried Ice Cream and Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango were both very good.

Diner Review №175

Perfectly prepared, delicious food.

Diner Review №176

Good food, will adjust the heat level for you.

Diner Review №177

Diner Review №178

Diner Review №179

Had a party of 5 people. Instead of bringing the food out at once. They brought out 2 dishes. I had to ask for chopsticks for those 2 people. Then 2 more dishes came out 7 minutes later and I had to ask for utensils and napkins. Very poor service. Food was OK. Pad Thai was super greasy. I will NOT be returning here ever. Very Bad!

Diner Review №185

This is our favorite takeout, hands down. The drunken noodles and fried rice are insanely amazing, but so is everything else. We've been to Thailand, and the food here is BETTER.

Diner Review №186

Fast and yummy. It's a pity that the place is so small.

Diner Review №191

By far the best Thai food around. Not NYC good but 5 star NJ good.

Diner Review №192

I love this place. It is my absolute favorite for Thai food. I am never disappointed. Everything is so good that I try something new every time I eat here. The curry puffs are delicious as well as their fried rice.

Diner Review №193

Diner Review №194

Curry was very runny and watered down. Poor service. No one checked on our meal. Much better restaurants in the area.

Diner Review №195

Diner Review №196

Made to order authentic Thai food. Delicious sauces and flavor. Tiny area but worth the stop!

Diner Review №197

Diner Review №198

Went here for dinner once and it was very good. I asked for Thai hot and it was very spicy, it was real good. Spicy is good.

Diner Review №199

Love the mango fried rice! I've always loved pineapple fried rice but recently developed an allergy to pineapple. I was so happy to find an alternative.

They have a very casual setup with a few tables. We generally order to go.

Diner Review №200

Best thai food around, i would suggest the Drunken Noodles.
