I have to say, A Taste of Thai did a really good job in my opinion. The in-house made rolls were fresh and perfectly cooked. The green curry with chicken was super tasty and the heat was perfect for me. I ordered the 4 of 5 for their heat scale and found that to be a really nice heat…didn’t blow out my tastebuds and allowed me to enjoy the entire meal. The service was quick enough and the server was very pleasant. The price was what you should reasonably expect considering the current economic conditions and I always enjoy a beer or two with a meal. Definitely retuning!

This place is amazing, surely a hidden gem right now because it's not super busy but the food is great, the restaurant is beautiful and the staff are so friendly, I will say I thought I could handle a spice level of 3 and I was wrong, you can always add more spice but you can't take it away lol.

A taste of thai cuisine was a wonderful experience. It's rare to find papaya salad on a menu where I'm from so I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little disappointed they went light on the 🌶 but they brought some extra spices to the table for us. The portions were the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. It was delicious food.

Excellent food, excellent service. We started with the fried pork potstickers, which were perfect. I enjoyed the Panang Chicken with white rice and it was superb. One friend had the calamari and another had shrimp Pad Kee Mao. All were enthusiastic about theirs being excellent.

I had Thai Iced Tea and it was spot on. Lastly, we had the mango and sticky rice for dessert, which I had never had before. It was way better than I had imagined and will now be on the standard rotation.

The service was great and the atmosphere is trending towards upscale. This place is a solid 5 stars.

First time here. Excellent fresh food. Spice can be ordered from 1-5. We ordered 3 and was very good. We had avocado curry with chicken, fresh rolls and spicy shrimp and calamari. All were excellent and well priced. We like the atmosphere too. Very quiet with nice background music. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. It will be one of our go to Thai restaurants.

It's rare to find good Thai food in a place like northern Nevada, but I think A Taste of Thai meets the mark pretty well. The noodle dishes are satisfying and reasonably priced, the waiters are friendly, and the egg rolls are extra crispy. The only real complaint I have is the very prominent nail salon smell.

Don’t take the lunch set menu. Just waste of money. The wonton they offer with set is nothing but empty shell. The soup is very salty. I mean it wasn’t $12 worth of food. Not by quality or quantity.Not up the mark. I have tasted better Thai food in/ around Reno.

The food is not bad, although a few times we found hair in our meals. The plates are overpriced and the sides are extra $$. If you don’t plan to tip for a party for 2 don’t bother cause they will refuse service to you. Me and my husband have been regular customers for YEARS now, we had favorite plates we liked to order. Well recently we have been refused service due to NOT TIPPING. Let me explain, the past dozen times we’ve came to eat here we have always left a tip on the table in CASH , this last time that we went we did not tip due to finding a hair in my husbands plate and the chicken being dry. Today we decided to stop here, by just walking in you can see the waiter avoiding us. The manager approached us and told us she has the right to refuse service due to our last visit for not tipping. My problem is that there menu straight up says a party of 5 or more will be charged 20% gratuity. Me and my husband are a party of 2. TIPPING IS OPTIONAL. IF YOU HAVE IT ON THE FRONT PAGE OF YOUR MENU WHY ARE YOU GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR A TIP FOR A PARTY of 2. Very disappointing. Very dissatisfied. Very poor service. You are a money hungry restaurant. And for the manager how do you not see that is wrong.

Incredible Thai food! I do this thing where I get pineapple fried rice with fried tofu at every Thai place I go to and it didn't disappoint! I typically get medium heat, which was nice and tasty. The waitress was awesome and it was a very enjoyable time.

So horrible. Unprofessional staff. The hostess San is very very rude and unwelcoming. Plenty of other Thai places in town that are so much better. Spare yourself. Never eat here. Let them go out of business.

Over priced for what it is. I got food poisoning from undercooked chicken in the yellow curry im pretty sure. Egg rolls were good though and it tasted decent lol.

Fabulous tasty meal with a friendly and attentive waitress. Crispy dumplings were a good appetizer. The papaya salad was sooo good. I loved with tomato and green beans and the sauce was something I can’t wait to return for.the yellow curry had geat flavor too.

I've been a customer at the establishment for over 3 years now and for the first time my food was not as ordered. Instead of acquiescing to my complaint they in turn said I received exactly what I ordered. If that had been the case I would have never called.

A very disappointing experience. We ordered thru Grubhub and our order arrived on time. But that was the only good thing. We ordered spicy noodles and green curry, both with shrimp. Each dish had two shrimp! Penang curry with chicken had two pieces of chicken! Green and Penang curries were ordered extra spicy but both had no spiciness to them. Very disappointing. I hope they don't treat all Grubhub orders like this. Surely won't order again.

I felt the beef pad thai sauce tasted the same as marinara sauce. A taste of thai is really just the same stuff we put on a pizza or spaghetti

Don't under estimate the spice level. I usually get level 3 but this place levels it up really spicy. Very good Thai food especially the vegetable spring roll. We will definitely come back.

I have been to this restaurant couple of time before, food was good. I went again yesterday, it was very bad experience.I have been served spoiled food and food was smelling very odd. No food is fresh. I would suggest check if owner is there then you will be served good food and treat you well. If owner is not there dont go, staff who work there are very irresponsible and very bad behavior.

Best Thai food I have had! Beef salad was amazing, as well as the pad Thai. For dessert order the mango sticky rice! The service was Great, we will be back! 100% recommend this place!

Good portions, fast service, delicious food! Will return soon! Its a bit more expensive than other Thai places but definately worth it. Only complaint is the Rangoon was slightly under cooked and chewy in the center. If not for this I would have given 5 stars.

Always great food. Been ordering a lot of take-out from here during the pandemic. Always consistent. Today I physically ate there. Food was awesome, service was great and the place is very clean. Their pad thai is some of the best I've had.

With an appetizer, large cup of soup, and an entree it does get a bit pricey but they are pretty reasonably priced. The food is worth it though! The Pad See Ew was very well made and the Wonton soup left me wanting more. Definitely go check it out.

It was very good, I personally really enjoy the Hawaiian Fried Rice. If you chose to get Thai tea, don't forget to get it without ice!

I ordered the coconut chicken soup for pickup and I am not sure that it was the correct soup. It had bell peppers, no taste of lemongrass, and was pretty bland. I cook Thai food at home and have eaten Thai food a fair amount, but I don't know what kind of soup I consumed. I don't live in Reno, so I will try a different restaurant next time.

Food was awesome. Even though they were short staffed because of Covid, the hostess/waitress did an awesome job and out food still came out quickly.

Best Thai in Reno, Always Amazing !!!

The host seated customers, took the orders, helped the kitchen, answered the phone, packaged the to-go orders, and accepted the payments. So service was a little slow. However everyone waiting for to-go orders were all just waiting patiently. Based on their patience we believed the food would be good. We weren't disappointed. The food was delicious. Well worth the wait. One of my friends had never eaten Thai food, and she loved it!

In a world where we are reduced to takeout, this restaurant took the time to make it as close to as if it had been served at the table.

Very irritating service. I ordered on uber eats and the driver was the only one telling my what was going on. I ordered 3 dishes and almost an hour later the food was not ready and was delayed. I finally called the resturant to see what was going on and the lady who answered the phone was snappy and hung up on my right after I asked why was it taking so long. This place was not cheap for 3 things but the service blew my mind. The least I shoud get is an explanation. During this crazy time I try to support our local business but with service like that I will not be returninf.

We have been dining in and ordering from A Taste of Thai for years. They are thee best Thai food in the area. They always follow our special requests consistantly without mistake. Even with the Virus we have been continuing to order and support them. When we get delivery ALWAYS GrubHub. They are consistantly reliable and professional. The owner of the restaurant is always working hard and keeps her restaurant very sanitary during normal times so I trust them now. Please support them.

Ordered takeout; chef special ginger duck, tom yom soup and yellow curry. All of it was awful. For $50 I would expect something edible, but the duck had gristle and chewy nasty fat. The curry was mostly water and Tom yom soup had zero flavor. Save your $50. It was so bad we took it all back. On top of that the lady was combative and was accusing me of not knowing what good food tastes like.

Jade Curry (a.k.a. green curry) was delicious. Came with onion soup and a salad.

Came in on a Saturday for lunch. The satay was good, but then we tried that Tom Kha soup and wow! Im getting over a cold so thats just what the doctor ordered. After that we ordered the Panang curry with beef, and that's the best curry I've ever tasted. The beef was very tender and was perfectly complimented by the spicy curry. The atmosphere of the place was very relaxing, we got a nice private booth and the service was quick and friendly. I can't think of a bad thing to say about this place, I only wish we'd tried it sooner. Will definitely be returning.

My brother and I came in for lunch and ordered their yellow curry it was absolutely the best curry in all of Reno! The service was fabulous very kind and fast! We had our food in less then 10 minutes. The price was great also for such quality food. The environment was refreshing and clean. Parking was easy to find. Definitely would recommend as #1 Thai restaurant in Reno.

Get the "Cashews in Love" with chicken. It's the best thing ever!

I really tried to like the new location, but I just didn't fall in love with it. Part of the problem was that the afternoon sun was glaring into the seating area and was very uncomfortable. I ordered Jade Curry and out of 5 stars, I ordered 6 stars. It arrived with hardly any spice. My wife's Spicy Noodle was very good. The sauce of my Jade Curry had been broken and lacked any Thai Eggplant like they used to have. Roughly $13 per plate plus $8 for fresh rolls. Not sure if I'll be back again. They will need to impress if I come again.
UPDATE: Also, both my wife and I were surprised when the bench seating didn't have any padding. Why would one want to sit on hard plywood benches when going to a nice restaurant? This would be fine at a run-of-the-mill lunch counter. At your old location, you used to have Thai Eggplants in your Jade Curry. Now, it's just zucchini or something. Oh, I also up dated your location on Google Maps. They had you on the edge of the street. I moved you into the strip mall. :)

thai food at this spot - super tasty. Service is always prompt even when they have a full house. I will be back with my coworkers. The bill was decent. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I liked.
