Surang Thai Kitchen has changed name to "MAMA Surang's Thai Kitchen"
We are known for secret red curry paste made it from scratch!!!
Contemporary Thai food with authentic Thai flavor. We also have vegan and gluten free option menu. Serving Las Vegas more than 13 years. Please visit us and you will have great foods and good time.
I really enjoy Surang’s as it is one of my favorite Thai places in the South West and it’s also really close to my house. They seem to have changed branding and appear on social media more often and I’m all for it.
One of my favorite go to dishes in this place is the Catfish Delight. It’s a fried fish in some curry sauce with red/yellow peppers as well as lime leaves. It’s definitely a great dish that you can’t find at a lot of Thai places and its packed with flavor.
We recently came here for their newer dishes which was the Wagyu Crab Khao Soi and the Lobster Tom Yum Noodle Soup. They were both definitely great dishes and definitely worth a try. If you want something more sour with a little spice I’d suggest the Lobster Tom Yum Noodle Soup. If you want something more creamy and meaty, get the Wagyu Crab Khao Soi. Both are full with great flavor and I would definitely highly recommend either one.
The interior of this place is pretty cool as it almost gives you a home type of feel with the dining room table type of chairs. Especially with the cabinet, it makes it feel like you’re in someone’s home and you’re getting a home cooked meal. The service is pretty fast. We also came prior to them closing and they were able to take our order to ensure that they can prepare our meal when we arrive.
I REALLY enjoyed this restaurant! Found it from a TikTok I had seen & came in to try the Khao Soi surf & turf which was a 20/10! 😋
Not only was the food delish but the service was awesome, Nuc & Vivien are 2 sweet ladies that are at your service for whatever you may need.
Also tried the brisket panang, Shrimp fried rice & chicken skewers that were tasty also 😩 DEFINITELY will return!
I had a horrible racist experience before the new managment took over, when I saw the sign I decided to go re-check it out and I'm glad I did.
Couple of nights ago I went there with my sister in law and the waitresses were amazing and nice. We didn't get the name for the first girl but the second one, Dao (hopefully spelled right) was just as nice. We really like the salmon and beef brisket curry. #2 in heat was too hot for us but was still so amazing and addicting. I was also looking for a good lemonade and really enjoyed the housemade. Thank you for the amazing service.
Incredible wagyu and crab curry! We’re staying on the strip for a long weekend trip, and this has easily been my favorite meal. The wagyu is cooked to your liking table side, topped with a giant mound of fresh crab meat, and served with yellow curry. It’s very fun presentation, but moreso, it’s just delicious! And only $34.95 for a giant shareable bowl! We ordered that, the drunken noodles (also very good), and the cucumber salad (tasty lightly pickled veggies). Highly recommend, we’re coming here again!
Went there for my birthday and this place did not disappoint. Nuc and Kunt were our waitresses and provided a memorable hospitality, especially when they cooked the AMERICAN WAGYU & HOLY CRAB KHAO SOI in front of our table; definitely my new all time fave. Can’t wait to come back to this place in the near future.
Authentic and fresh. Between myself and four work colleagues, we tried 12 different dishes. The Penang curry and the Tom Kha soup were the clear winners, but everything we had was exceptional. The service was prompt and friendly. The owner, TK, took time to greet us and tell us his story. Very pleased with this find.
Amazing authentic Thai, and the service is amazing!
Excellent food and very good service
Food was delicious. My order came out spicier than I wanted so they immediately made me another one less spicy. I ordered the yellow curru with chicken. We had chicken satay for appetizer. Delicious and bigger than most other places
We love this place!
I did not get to sit at the restaurant this time however I have been going to Surang Thai since it was opened back in the day, new owner now and the food is still authentic like you have eaten dinner or lunch on Phuket or Bangkok. Great service, the host is very kind and makes sure the customer is always happy. If you love Thai food this is a place you must eat at. My personal facorite is the Panang, Choochee and drunken noodles.

I won’t visit this store again. The banner outside advertised a lunch special, but they didn’t provide the lunch special menu until I specifically asked for it. On top of that, they added $2 to my bill without informing me, labeling it as “hot water,” and the service was poor.
Super rude and unhelpful staff. Their website offerings don’t match their actual menu. We left after they wasted 30 minutes of our time
Food was good and came out fast and our servers were very friendly. I would definitely come back again

Nuc and Vivian were fantastic hosts and the food was absolutely amazing. This is some top notch thai food in Vegas and some of the best iver ever had in general. Will be back soon!! Thanks!
I had the drunken noodle with crispy pork- every bit was amazing. Our server Nuc was friendly and checked on us frequently. I highly recommend.
The wagyu, crab, noodle bowl was AMAZING! Nuc and We were awesome servers. Very nice and service with a smile. The bowl we got was enough to share between my wife and I. The pot stickers were amazing. We got the number 2 spice. I like more heat but it was still just enough. You will not regret a visit here.
Enjoyed a nice diiner here after seeing a high school play. Food was delicious and brought to the table quickly and hot.
I love it here so much I had to bring my family and friends to experience this meal. It’s authentic. It’s flavorful, and it feels right.
We went over board ordering because our eyes were so hungry, but it did not disappoint. The khao soi with wagyu and crab, crispy pork, Penang brisket, and salmon. You can’t go wrong. Please support small business and visit. It will be worth it!
Great dinner for our wedding anniversary. Khao Soi and lobster with Tom yum soup were excellent!!! The spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce enhanced the flavor.
Looking forward to returning for another round...

Nuc and vivienne were our servers and did a fantastic job of making it a great experience and the place had a cozy atmopshere. The food was very good and there was a lot of it for the price! Highly reccomend
Nuc and Vi were very nice and took great care of us. We had the American Wagyu & Holy Crab Khao Soi which they prepare in front of you and The Holy Crab Khao Soi, both were delicious.
Very disappointed, was so looking forward to eat here today. Service slow, we got the Khao Soi but the curry was cold, asked to reheat, still cold. We waited over 30 minutes for the food and the server didn't show any care when we told him the food was cold or apologized. Imagine waited 30 mins to serve with cold curry with raw beef. My daughter returned home and threw up the food she ate here. They should refund my money. Horrible experience.
The food was really good. It’s worth the price. The service was great. Go check them out.
Great portions for the price! Really strong flavors on all the dishes, delicious😋
This was probably the best meal I’ve had last month and I go out to eat almost every day. Such an amazing local spot the price is so good and the flavor is insane
Went there for my birthday and this place did not disappoint. Nuc and Kunt were our waitresses and provided a memorable hospitality, especially when they cooked the AMERICAN WAGYU & HOLY CRAB KHAO SOI in front of our table; definitely my new all time fave. Food very good service friendly
A longtime resident of Sun West Promenade Surang's Thai Kitchen changed hands in Autumn 2023, the new name “Mama Surang Thai Kitchen” paying homage to its founders while cookery is now in the hands of a native of Thailand who worked with Alex Stratta and Guy Savoy.
Now back from their homeland after the pandemic, a husband and wife team with their children frequently helping out around the Restaurant, Mama Surang Thai Kitchen is found on Fort Apache between Hacienda and Russel with minimal signage but a welcoming atmosphere.
Far from lavish, minimal décor and a few tables filled by locals, Surang’s menu focuses on traditional Thai flavors with just a hint of fusion utilized to accentuate flavor without compromising high quality Ingredients.
Cooked to order in a small kitchen, take-out occasionally delaying service, guests are invited to begin with Iced Coffee or Thai Tea with Cream plus appetizers such as fresh Spring Rolls filled with crunchy Vegetables, Thai Beef Jerky or traditional Chicken Satay
Intended such that “every plate serves an experience,” a bowl of Tom Kha richer than that of Lotus of Siam or Weera, Surang’s Silver Noodle Salad at spice “Level 5” finds diverse textures accentuated by acid while fried Spinach is oilless and light.
Next offered “Crispy Fish Delight,” Flouder flash fried and teaming with Red Peppers amidst Beans with sharp notes of Ginger, Surang’s “Entrees” offer good depth of flavor whether Cashew Chicken or Basil Beef.
Making several styles of Curry each day, Chef’s suggestion of Panang with spoon-tender Brisket an absolute delight in terms of taste and texture, Yellow comes across a little flat by comparison while Pad Thai executes well without reinventing the wheel.
Impressing with Pad Se Ew, ribbons of Rice slicked in Soy with Beef and Broccoli, Tableside Wagyu Crab Khao Soi is a $35 “Chef Special” bargain while Dessert stays traditional featuring faultless Sticky Rice and a ripe Mango out of Mexico.
Had lunch there yesterday. And the food was awesome. The lady who was our waitress was very nice. Thank you
Small intimate establishment. The food was good, and the service was a little slow. The staff was very friendly. Would return if in the area again.
I had a horrible racist experience before the new managment took over, when I saw the sign I decided to go re-check it out and I'm glad I did.

Beef curry is so good. Nuc is very pleasant . She help us to choose the best of entree.
10/10 would eat here again. The wagyu and crab khao soi was my fav dish. Their signature red curry, beef salad, tom yum soup were all delicious. Ambience had that warm home cooking feeling as they were all very friendly and service was great. I will be taking my parents here next time.
Great service and the food is real thai food! Amazing! Thank you guys
The food was amazing!!! If you come here make sure to ask for Rocki and Sai! Best service ever!!! I mentioned we were going to Thailand for our honeymoon and they gave me a whole run down of what to do and where to eat. Did I mention the food was amazing!!! Get the American Wagyu & Holy Crab Khao Soi. Its big enough for 2 people. Thank me later
Everything was a 10! The food was great, and my servers Rocky and Sai were both very sweet, accommodating, and attentive. Can't wait to come back to Vegas to eat here again.
Visited here from Georgia and absolutely loved it! Rocky and Sai are incredible waitresses and their service was the absolute best! ❤️
We ordered several appetizers in the wagyu and crab Khai Soi - INCREDIBLE! Rocky flamed the wagyu table side and it was so amazing that we ordered seconds to go 🤤🤤🤤 Will definitely visit here again before we leave!
Also great atmosphere. The music was awesome lol
10/10 all around
A quaint homely setting bursting with flavor and culinary mastery. The Khao Soi (noodles covered in a layer of charred wagyu topped with fresh crab meat and coconut curry poured on top) was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious. It is absolutely worth a trip off of of the Vegas strip to eat at this southwest Vegas gem.
This wagyu crab curry soup is probably the best Thai dish I very had on my life! When I tell you it’s good just go eat it! This is a 6⭐️ meal period! They bring a new location to the strip so don’t have to drive 15 mins from casino to go it this masterpiece! I’m almost tempted to stuff myself and get another bowl!😆
Wow!! This place was absolutely amazing. I wish I would have taken pictures but we were so caught up in the amazing food we forgot. Also, the service by Nuc & Dow was top tier, 10/10! They both made us feel so warm and welcomed in the establishment. We can’t wait to tell our family and friends about this place. Thank you for the amazing service and delicious food, we will be back.
Best Thai food in Vegas
Great food and great service I highly recommend! Worth the drive and wait for sure!
so so good!! we ordered the crab & wagyu khao soi, pad thai, crab fried rice, and beef salad. everything was so freakin good, ESPECIALLY THE KHAO SOI!!! definitely a must try!! service was so great and everyone was so welcoming. would definitely come back every time i’m in the area!!
What a wonderful dinner 10/10 experience and delicious food. We had Khao soi, Beef panang, Tom Ka and Crab Rangoon and i highly recommend each of these dishes the quality and prices are extremely worth the trip here. I will definitely be coming back again soon. Thank you!
I grew up in Vegas. Thai is one of my favorite cuisines. I have, over the ~20 years of my life that I have eaten Thai food, eaten at or taken out from just about every Thai restaurant in the west/southwest part of town, and quite a few of the other Thai places throughout the valley. I can confidently say that this is one of the best, if not THE best, Thai spots in town. For take out, the food tasted about as fresh as I imagine it would have been had we eaten in the restaurant - the pad see ew was perfectly flavored, not congealed, and appropriately tender; the eggplant entree with fried tofu had a great texture that wasn’t mushy, with amazing taste; the green curry had the perfect level of spice and a wonderful balance of perfectly cooked vegetables and protein. The family that runs the restaurant could not be more kind and invested in making sure their food is top notch. I’m jealous of my parents who get to eat here regularly, and cannot wait to add it into my rotation for all of my future visits home!!
The food was delicious and the service was great .
I drove 30 minutes to get there because I heard the place was good. So after sitting for 8 minutes the waitress finally came over to take my order. Well 40 minutes later the waitress came back to my table and said "i'm sorry i forgot to put your order in. what was it again?" So I gave my order AGAIN. Fifteen minute later my food finally arrived. Wasn't the greatest at all. My sticky rice was not sticky at all. My pangnang was slim on the chicken and had a hand full of raw green beans thrown on top of it. Who throws raw green beans on top of their pangnang?
So while I was eating they had some little boy (maybe 12 or 13) busing tables and bringing food to the customers.
I will not be back.. That place is in need of a lot of work.
Delicious food and very friendly staff!
Basil Chicken Fried Rice, Egg rolls, ask for extra plum sauce!
best Thai food I’ve ever had. you guys gotta try that holy crab fried rice. the service is great too.
Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in Vegas! Food was delicious and customer service was top notch! I could bathe in the spring roll peanut sauce lol. And beware, a spicy level #2 is all you need unless you want to feel the burn haha (goes up to 5). I heard a new location is coming to Chinatown soon and I can't wait. One of my new fav restaurants for sure.
Amazing Thai food and very friendly personable staff.
10/10. I would recommend. I got the Basil Fried Rice with chicken and oh my 🤤🤤🤤. I'm in love. We did the Chicken Satay for the appetizer. It paired well with the peanut sauce to dip it in. Washed it all down with a delicious Thai Tea. It was so good we ordered another Thai Tea to go.
Had an amazing Thai food experience at Mama Surang! The crab fried rice was bursting with flavor, the curry fish was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the mango sticky rice was the perfect sweet ending. Our server, Nuc was attentive and friendly, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Thai food in Spring Valley.
Absolutely beautiful and intimate Thai spot. Staff is incredibly kind and attentive, I have tried a few of their curries, noodles, and fried rice dishes and have never been disappointed. Rocky is also super sweet and regularly makes even ordering takeout a kind and friendly experience. Such a gem especially with the # of Thai spots around the SW.
Very good food.
Came on a sleepy Tuesday afternoon, we were seated immediately. Ordered, the wings, crab fried rice, and beef brisket Panama curry. All three were among the best we’ve had in town. I think it’s at least on par with Lotus of Siam and better than Lamaii while being significantly more wallet friendly than either. Would definitely come back again.
Have always loved there food. Recently had Drunken noodles with mixed chicken, beef and shrimp yum!
Excellent food and great prices. Nuc was our server and she was awesome. Highly recommend this place. Great service. Will be Back for sure
Food was Amazing. There were eight of us. Our waitress Nuc was very personable and helpful. Lots of options for vegetarian and vegan. Good food!!!
I order the eggplant with tofu & the crab fried rice every time. It never gets old! Lots of flavor and spice.
I honestly wish they bring back Mama Surang's original recipe. The menu may be the same, but the current chef loves to add sugar to all his dishes. I don't understand why they can't make Thai food authentic. I understand your need to cater to palate for people who can't eat spicy food, but spread your spice level from 1 to 10 like Mama Surang used to. This place has the potential and hope they realize it.
Foods wasnt good at all, I have to repair My daughters left over chicken curry do she can still eat it. That is My first and last dine in. Price are expensive either, not worth it!
I accidentally ordered my food too hot! The chef and the server were amazing and accommodated my own mistake by fixing my dish to make it less hot! Delicious food and caring people! I will definitely return!
This place is on the other side of town for me but it’s soooo good I came last weekend for the first time and already came back again this weekend. Amazing service, amazing food, and great prices. The person who was helping us was the sweetest and was so kind to inform me about the spice level of the food. Thanks to her it wasn’t too spicy for me, but even then she came to make sure it wasn’t too spicy. My new favorite place!
Great place for lunch! Curries are fresh and flavorful! Crab rangoon delicious! Great service too! We will be back!
Still in the same Family, even though the sign says *Under New mngmnt."
That's a GOOD Thing! Cause they always recognize and smile to us. Food hadn't changed.
Yellow Curry Chicken (mild) and Pineapple fried rice, complimentary white rice Always leaves us happy with small leftover cups!
A MUST Dine, and we want to see them stay forever! Nice family run place, very authentic, since I visited the country 5 times!
I got the yellow curry and it was PERFECT! They have spice levels from 1-5 so it’s great for everyone! We also got the mango sticky rice that was better than I couldve imagined. I’m definitely going back! Also our server (rocky) was so incredibly kind! Just the best experience :)
Delicious food and amazing service. Perfect meal for after climbing in red rocks!
Too bad foods ……I ordered 3 types of food to go: PAD THAI NO TASTE AT AL. Couldn’t finish as there’s no taste at all….PAPAYA SALAD VERY LITTLE DRESSING; FRESH SPRING ROLLS CUT INTO 4 PIECES… VERY LITTLE NOT ENOUGH SAUCE GIVEN…. NOT WORTH PAYING FOR…NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY EATING AT THIS PLACE..Boring Foods!!!!🥲
Best fried rice and mango sticky rice ever.
Amazing spot for tasty Thai food in the southwest area.. Food came out quite quickly and every single dish was a hit. Will definitely be back
I can't describe how good the food is here. 10/10 for every dish and we had 5 different dishes. The Tom Kha soup was so good, You will not be disappointed, soon when you walk in the owners welcome you with a smile and everybody were very friendly and knowledgeable. Food came quickly and it was to perfection!
Highly recommended
The foods are really good especially the Tom Kha soup and beef brisket with panang curry. Tom Kha soup was not too sour like almost all other Thai restaurants. Serve was very nice and gave us good recommendations. Price are very reasonable. Definitely will come back again.
Best Thai food in town by far. Excellent. We had dinner there tonight, the beef fried rice, Mongolian chicken and crispy pork masaman were truly outstanding.
Very warm atmosphere and the food is beautiful and delicious! We were checked on multiple times to make sure we were satisfied. Will definitely be back the service is exceptional.
Was doing a search for vegan food near me and this place showed up. So happy it did. I had the red curry and they made it 100% vegan for me. It was amazing. Super fresh and really tasty. I had them do the spice level at one out of five and it was perfect for me. Also had a vegan Thai iced tea with coconut milk instead of condensed milk. They will pretty much do anything vegan for you, within reason. The owner is super nice. Very accommodating. Highly recommend this restaurant to any vegan out there, looking for a good Thai meal. Enjoy!
Great fresh food. TK great!!
Love this place!
We’ve been eating at Mama Surang’s for about a month-month and a half now, and it’s so delicious! The food is fresh and flavorful, we haven’t had anything we don’t like (and we’ve tried something new each time). We’ve ordered take-out and dined in, the food and service is always consistent. The spice levels they have are also packed with flavor, and not just heat like so many places are.
Amazing family-owned Thai restaurant. Feels and tastes just like Thailand. Panang Curry with Beef Brisket, Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, Crab Fried Rice and Pineapple Fried Rice are all winners. Best tasting Thai food I’ve had in Vegas. Service is always friendly and accommodating as well.
Always nice to find a neighborhood "gem" of a restaurant. Small place, but excellent tasting Thai curries. Family run...the chef is TK. He and his wife are genuinely friendly, and interested that you have a great experience there! My first time...but I am looking forward to coming back soon to try his fish dish.
Best Flounder and the chicken was excellent!
Great & friendly service! Nice place away from the strip and worth the drive for authentic Thai food. The crispy pork, crispy fish, drunken noodles and the Panang curry were delicious & flavorful. The owner took the time to tell us about the menu and share his story. What a wonderful meal.
The best tai spot I’ve been in awhile, the atmosphere was clean n fresh the food was amazing, I ordered the yellow curry medium spicy with white rice and vegetables, it was amazing 🤩
Amazing in every way!!! We have some food allergies and they were so accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing! We tried a little of everything and it all was delicious . The owners and waitstaff were so nice and the service was on point! You have to come here. We are so glad we found this great restaurant!
Order takeout from there 2x a mo. Consistently good food and quick service. Neighborhood staple.
Outstanding Thai food! The owner's husband is a renowned Chef in the Las Vegas strip. So you know how great the food is going to be. We live close by and come here often to try all the different dishes. So it's going to be difficult for me to talk about only a few dishes. The crab Rangoon, the peanut penang curry, the red curry, the pork drunken noodle, the sweet sticky rice with mangoes.... OMG. Just try this place or order out!
Love their food! So tasty!
Stopped in after an appointment nearby. Staff is very welcoming and the food was amazing!!! Wish we lived closer!
I came here on a whim because I was craving Tom Kha, and im so glad I did! I was surprised with how charming the restaurant was. It had an authentic homey feel to it, and you could tell the owners take pride in what they do.
I ordered the Tom Kha, which I can honestly say was some of the best soup I’ve ever had in Las Vegas. The mango and sticky rice was an amazing treat I highly recommend as well.
The staff was super nice, attentive, and very welcoming. Thank you so much for an A+ experience. I will for sure come back!
The food and service was excellent! Thank you, Rockie
They really serious about taking care of business, the food is with extra care of ingredients like green mint, lettuce inside noodle, combine flavors are on point.
We loved this restaurant - panang Curry and drunken nudels are excellent - the whole staff were very friendly and helpful - family run businesses are always the best!
We’ve dined here twice in the last week and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. We want to start by saying how wonderful the service is. They are always asking how everything is and want to make sure that the food was done right. The food is fabulous!! It’s some of the best tasting Thai food that we’ve had. We highly recommend this restaurant and are so thrilled we tried it and will continue to be regular customers.
This place gets 5 stars across the board. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. This place has that warm and wonderful mom and pop feel. Thankfully I made it before the rush because it is usually packed!
Service is awesome food is awesome check it out
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! There are lots of choices for great Thai food in Las Vegas but Mama Surang is a hidden treasure! Tucked within a strip mall off Fort Apache Rd, the food taste like you are eating authentic street food in Pattaya or a great seaside restaurant in Phuket. The Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice was made to our order. The Chicken Pad Thai did not have the excess oil you often find. And the Tom Kha Gai soup was full of fresh ingredients that made this the most flavorful coconut milk soup I have ever tasted. With three large portioned dishes, the total cost was cheaper than two people eating at Panera for lunch. Looking forward to going back and trying more things on the menu!
The food is consistently good! We ordered panang curry, flounder fish, and pinnaple fried rice and everything was delicious. Our server Rocky did a great job of attending to our need and very friendly. We moved to Las Vegas 5 years ago and try a number of Thai restaurants and Surang Thai is among the Top of our favorite.
If you’re wanting authentic and exceptional tasting Thai food this is the place for you. Mama surangs nephew has taken over this restaurant. Him and his wife greeted us as soon as we came in. He told us they make their curry paste in house and can also make it vegan without the shrimp paste. I thought that was great for ppl with dietary restrictions or are vegan/vegetarian. He recommended a few dishes. Both him and his wife were very personable and sweet. We ordered the shrimp fresh rolls, panang curry with brisket, and shrimp pad thai. Everything tasted amazing and was cooked to perfection. We’ve never had curry with brisket before but I can definitely say it’s my new favorite. They really care about their customers and making sure you leave happy with a full belly. If you’re in the area or visiting please go eat here!! You won’t regret it!
The food was soo good(the pad see ew was my fav!)) and the workers were so kind! The wait wasn’t too long at all!
I have been coming to Surangs forever and when I found out it was recently under new ownership I got worried about what changes would be made. It was amazing so I didn't want that to be altered in any way and I'm happy to report it wasn't, it's still great. Pad Thai is the best in Vegas and the Thai green curry is delicious.
Excellent food. My parents also loved it. We had Pad See Ew. Great wok hay taste! Also the curries were great. Panang and Mongolian were also tasty
Had a lovely dinner here tonight. Enjoyed the pad Thai and seafood green curry. Looking forward to coming back for the crispy fish, several entrees with the braised brisket or pork shoulder, and the crispy spinach salad! Small, family-owned place with excellent service! TK (chef and owner) is both personable and accommodating. Definitely recommend!
Great service and the lunch specials are a great value as the portions are the same as dinner.
Very good Pad Thai. Big portions and good lunch special
Staff was really friendly and the food was really good
Bomb food, great service, ambient atmosphere. I live in the bay area, get to enjoy many great Thai restaurants, and this one is up to par with all of em. Pineapple friend rice & pad Thai was superb
Best spring rolls ever! I stay away from shrimp spring rolls because sometimes the shrimp is old, but not here it was all fresh and they even do fried tofu spring rolls!! I was sold. The food comes out hot and fresh. Definitely adding this spot to my lunch list!
BEST THAI PLACE IN VEGAS, I have been coming here for years and it never dissapoints. Yesterday my server was NITTY and she was so kind in making a suggestion to get the Pannang with Brisket and it was DELECTIBLE THANK YOU! The Owner even came out and greeted me so nice everytime I come here
Nice people, great food and pleasant atmosphere.
Delicious food and amazing customer service. Very anticipatory service as my bf dropped his spoon and we didn’t even have to ask for a new one and the lady already was on her way with a clean one. Crab Rangoons were the best I ever had. You could see and taste the crab inside. Green Curry’s flavor of fresh basil was so refreshing and just the right amount of spice for me as I ordered 0 spice and don’t like my curry too spicy. The coconut rice with mango was so yummy at the end too.
The atmosphere and food was delicious thank you Brooke for your hospitality !!!
Great food. Great family business. Great all around
I love the food and great customer service 💕
Very tasty Thai food very quick, very professional, and workers are very kind
Love everything about this place! The food is amazing and the service was excellent! I 100% recommend.
I LOVE Mama Surangs! She even has Thai macaroni and it’s all delicious!! Now they even have online ordering, so it’s super fast to order and pickup!
Best Thai Food in Southwest Las Vegas. Everything was prepared fresh with care. We loved the Pad Thai, but the Red Curry was the best! Highly recommend the Thai Tea & Chicken Satay *chefs kiss*.
Fast service, good flavor.
Food is very good, and portions are pretty good for the price. It’s a little hard to spot off of Ft. Apache but it is well worth the stop. My girlfriend and I eat dinner here at least once a week.
Great service, price, fast, good food
Good food ,service and atmosphere our go to for Thai food 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Best tasting Thai place I've been in Las Vegas. Owner is great and recommended certain way to eat Thai food. We have enjoyed our dining experience.
Please note this restaurant as of a few weeks ago (june/ july 2023?) has been under new management with new staff, and will have a slightly shifted name. When I went last week there were a few boxes of decorations still finding their homes in the place. Consider older reviews irrelevent at this point. I know this because, full disclosure, I recently met one of the new owners at an unrelated job and she was excited about her restaurant and suggested I come try the food. I was in the neighbourhood so I said why not check it out. I wish it was closer to my house because I'd definitely order from there again. My honest opinion of the food is that it is on point. If I hadn't liked it, in this case, I probably would have just declined to write a review at all. Thankfully, it is quite good.
The long if it:
The crab rangoon appetizer was made a little differently then anything I've had in the past, See the photo. It looked more lile the shape of a dimsum dumpling then a flat wonton triangle. It was an upright pillow stuffed with flavour full filling with a hint of scallion. I don't remember tasting scallion before in crab rangoon but it was nice. The coconut soup tasted like a memory. It was so flavourful, reminded me of a favourite spot in college under the blue line in Chicago. My son liked his shrimp noodles and the sticky rice desert. The vegetables were really fresh and vibrant and still had some crunch, really just perfectly timed on the cooking if the veg in every dish.
We brought food home to his dad; he asked for crispy pork and 2 other dishes. He thinks its best to order crispy pork in restaurant because it didn't stay crispy in the takeout container but he liked the flavour of everything we brought home.
The waitress was really sweet to my son advised for chicken satay appetizer, which my son refused to eat (being fussy after a 117 degree day) so I had one stick minus one bite of it and found that it was made well and well seasoned (I'm not a big curry fan so I took the rest home to dad).
Oh and I got papaya salad and I wish I would have ordered it spicier.
Sorry my photos all show my food with a bite taken out already!
I just happened to be hungry and Google food near me this little place popped up and man it was good I'm assuming the owner was there cuz she greeted me and told me that they took over from their aunts business and they were really nice food was excellent I definitely coming back over here
I feel lucky to have this restaurant so close to me. The food is always exceptional and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. 10/10 I recommend highly
This restaurant is under new management as of July 2023.
Hoping it remains one of my favorite local 'street-food' type Thai restaurants in Las Vegas.
Let's try it out!...
This is our go to place for any Thai. We even order some party trays from here whenever we have dinner for our friends. Always great tasting food.

Tasty food, and the restaurant atmosphere is very nice, almost fancy. :) The service is wonderful. Thai teas here are fantastic.
Food is great, good service. I have tried Surangs for years and everytime I dine food is always good.
Costumer services was horrible, rude and racist.
