When I went in to order, I didn't realize it was close to 4pm. I was ordering lunch but was told it was too late for the lunch menu. I was told I would get a lot more for the dinner menu. I was VERY unimpressed. The serving was SO small, considering I was charged more and was told the dinner serving was more food. What a rip off!! I will not be returning to this establishment. For the same amount of money, I get double the amount at the other Thai restaurant I go to. I will be going back there since I get more food for the price, and it tastes better. I was just in the area, so I tried Block 9. I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know. Total price gouge!
Overall: 4.3/5 (dine in)
Block 9 is located in the corner of the building and can be missed if you're not looking carefully. We went on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't packed. The set up is like an Asian fast food joint. The food came out in about 10-15 minutes after we ordered on disposable trays. Food was good but the price is a tad high for the amount of food you get compared to another Thai restaurant of the same caliber.
Pork Skewers ($14): This came with 4 skewers, a side of sauce, and sticky rice. We poured the sauce over the rice and skewers. It wasn't strong but complimented the meat and rice well. The pork skewers were a good size, tasty, and tender. The sticky rice was okay.
Lunch Drunken Noodles ($12) with Combo Pork & Beef ($3): They gave a generous amount of protein - pork, beef, & shrimp! The pork and beef were standard but the shrimps were really juicy. The drunken noodles were delicious and addicting as well. The wontons were crispy but didn't really go with the drunken noodles so I felt like it was its own appetizer.
First time ordering here and I will be coming back! I got the pad thai, thai beef, pad see lew, drunken noodles, and gree curry to go. They were all extremely flavorful and my family enjoyed the food. My dad especially loved their green curry. I would definitely bring someone here to dine in since it has a very welcoming atmosphere as well.
Update: brought a friend here tonight as I have not eaten here for several years. Located off Town Center near 215 adjacent to Chevron gas station.
What we ordered:
1.) Green Curry with Tofu $15.00 my friend plenty of Tofu and Veggies flavor was decent.
2.) Yellow Curry with Shrimp $18.00 the curry could have been more spicy it was a bit sweet. Nice amount of shrimp and potatoes.
3.) Drunken Noodles with Beef $15.00 this was very tasty, beef was tender and noodles were cooked just right.
Still a solid place to get Thai in a pinch.
Be prepared to order your food at the counter and find a table where you wait for your food semi self serve. Food is not bad.
Delicious. Red curry and pad thai were both amazing. Great lunch size portion.
Good food, clean restaurant, but it would be nice to order the food at the table and not at the counter. It gives it a fast food vibe. I'd come back again.
Always top notch food, prepared fresh and hot. What more could you ask for. Go try it, it’s delicious.
Great food at a great price.
Shrimp fried rice was so good! Huge shrimp and egg pieces. Pad Thai and crab Rangoon are also great.
It’s my first time trying there food and
Omg it’s sooo good omg I’m gonna come here more
The Main reason I am giving two starts is because there are only disposable plates, utensils, and plastic cups for your drinks. Too much waste. The food was not that bad. The pad thai way very sour. For the price it was añdp a small portion. My interaction with the cashier was very rushed, I thought that maybe other customers came in and there were other people behind me and that was the reason, but it was not. Overall not that bad, but would not be my first pick on a Thai restaurant.
Good food, decent price
Consistently delicious food, great service and wallet friendly. We order carryout all the time.
Delicious food. I do recommend getting the world famous spinach which is pretty much tempura spinach chips. It can be a bit too oily for some. I also tried the beef salad which tasted better than other places I’ve tried as well as the tofu fries which was fried cut tofu with a sauce.

Oh my gosh, the other night I just was dying for some Thai food and stop by Block nine on my way home. If you’ve never been, it’s a small place just down the street for me. And the Gardens Village of Summerlin just off of the 215 in Town Center, Boulevard The Tom Yum soup is delicious but probably my favorite thing on the menu is the fried spinach salad. Check it out. It’s not what you think it’s AMAZING
Excellent food and service!
Green curry with chicken was 🔥

Food is yummy and all the staff are nice.
Food was good and fast 😋.
This place has really gone downhill. Not to mention the last time I went I had an incredibly racist interaction with staff. I do not recommend this place.
Good but small portion size.
I gave it 5 stars 5 years ago. Still my favorite Thai food in Las Vegas. ❤️
Culinary Delight: A Taste of Thailand at 9 Block
My recent dining experience at 9 Block, a Thai restaurant, was nothing short of excellent, leaving me eager to share the highlights of my visit.
Firstly, the ambiance was charming and inviting, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The decor was tasteful, reflecting a blend of modern elegance and Thai cultural elements, creating a soothing and immersive dining atmosphere.
Moving on to the star of the show—the food. 9 Block truly excels in delivering authentic Thai flavors with each dish meticulously prepared to perfection. The menu offered a diverse range of options, from classic Pad Thai to more adventurous dishes like Khao Soi, allowing diners to explore the richness of Thai cuisine.
The quality of ingredients was exceptional, evident in the vibrant colors, fresh aromas, and balanced flavors of every dish. Whether it was the perfectly spiced curries or the tender and flavorful grilled meats, each bite was a culinary delight that left me craving more.
Moreover, the portion sizes were generous, ensuring that every diner leaves satisfied and content. The presentation of the dishes was also commendable, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and dedication to creating an exquisite dining experience.
Equally impressive was the service at 9 Block. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience and making me feel welcomed and valued as a guest.
In conclusion, 9 Block is a gem among Thai restaurants, offering an exceptional blend of ambiance, delectable cuisine, generous portions, and top-notch service. Whether you're a Thai food enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, 9 Block is sure to exceed your expectations and leave you planning your next visit.
Everything about this place is SO good! Always my first stop when in Vegas! Get the tempura fried spinach salad — it’s such a unique dish and always delightful

Quick easy service, quality food, forgot to take a picture. Get the fried kale, amazing appetizer, and their curry has depth in its flavor.
Really cute spot, much larger than expected with plenty of seating. We were greeted quickly by a very nice lady. She answered some questions for me about the menu and way they prepared dishes. The drunken noodles were soooo good. My fiance enjoyed his muay thai fried rice and crab rangoons. The spring rolls were yummy as well. Definitely the best thai food we've had on this side of town by far. We will definitely be back.
Wish I could write a better review but my experience was not that good.
I’ll start with a not so helpful or welcoming person taking our food order, we felt rushed and irrelevant despite explaining that it was our first time there and lack experience on Thai cuisine.
We feel that a thank you for coming in and help with menu options or suggestions would be a normal thing to do but to our disappointment , we got neither.
The food came pretty quick I’ll say, heavy on salt and a bit overpriced for fast food grade. No one came to check on us and not a thank you or good bye was said as we left.
May be it’s us who should be grateful?
The food at this hidden treasure of a restaurant is consistently fresh and good! Well prepared and super yummy, with a variety of beverages (alcoholic or nonalcoholic) available. We loved it so much during our vacation we ate there twice! Padthai, sautéed vegetables, satay chicken! All delicious. The setting is casual but fun, and bright. Highly recommend.
Great Thai family restaurant for lunch.
Never did dine in but to go always and many times. Fairly quick preparation even around busy dinner time. Quality is stable (which is very important), good amount for the price. This is our to go take away!
So had lunch today at the Blick9 on St Rose. Two people 52.00.
Food OK, staff were nice but paper plate service with plastic forks. For 25.00 a plate I expected to at least have dish service.
It’s too bad thus us what we call dining out now. Sad we’ve fallen so Low
They try to cover up the low quality of their chicken and meat by overloading spice. It was all inedible
My only issue with this place that customers should be aware of is that they cook using “soy” oil. It’s incredibly unhealthy for you. I would frequent this place 2-3 a week if they used animal fat (lard, butter, ghee…), olive, coconut or avocado oil for their frying. Because of the soy, I have to avoid going too often. 😕
Very basic. Pineapple fried rice Very sweet. Chicken satay Very bland peanut sauce had little peanut flavor. World famous spinach salad. I've never had deep fried spinach in tempura before, very interesting.
I’m visiting Las Vegas from South Africa and absolutely LOVED this spot! Phad Thai is my all-time favourite and I think this is the best I’ve had. We also really enjoyed the pork skewers and drunken noodles. The portions are generous. We shared and still had leftovers. The best surprise was the Thai donuts (dipped in a honey sauce) we saw recommended on Yelp. They were SO SO SO good!!!! I will be dreaming of these for years to come. You need to have them hot, crispy and fresh in the restaurant.
The food is amazing. Delicious, good portions, and a great price. Will definitely eat there again.
I loved this restaurant and their decor/artwork! Large servings for a great price and a cozy atmosphere. Once we ordered, the food was on our table in less than 5 minutes. The food was delicious, the only thing I would have changed were my noodles were a bit too oily. I highly recommend the thai iced tea.
Delicious food! Tom Yum soup was amazing! Definitely quality food.

I have the red curry, green curry and chicken wontons. All have been delicious and this has become my new favorite Thai food place 😁
I look forward to it everytime I come to Vegas. So good.
Atmosphere is very relaxing. We had a bartender as our waiter, he answered every question without hesitation. The food, ahh, the food, was exceptional!
Looooooove it. The best of the best
If you didn't know it was there, you could have missed it off Discovery, located in corner.
Spinach salad was such a surprise, must eat with dipping sauce.
Best Thai food in Las Vegas and 100% recommend everything on their menu
Tasty Thai fast food: Drunken Noodles & Basil Chicken. Friendly, fast. Good for a quick fix of Thai cuisine. Pleasant outdoor seating and adequate indoor seating for small groups, couples, and individuals.
Great food and a great atmosphere. Friendly staff as well. I will be going back.
Always yummy
The food was very authentic! We tried almost every dish! Best curry we had! Best Thai dish we had out in Vegas! Will definitely be back! 10/10! Great customer service! They also had multiple cookers in the kitchen so we got our food really fast too.
Food is AMAZING!!
This place is the business. Some of the best comfort Thai food around. It’s a 20 minutes drive for us and we’re here for the second time in 3 weeks. Don’t delay! Come over and order your favorite Thai dishes. Dunk noodles, pad Thai, cucumber salad, spring rolls, yellow curry, Bangkok fried rice…. All really good. Plus they have root beer. ☺️
Great Thai food! Super yummy!
The pineapple chicken is awesome
I go here often with my family and it's a great place to meet for a casual lunch. The Panang Curry and the Drunken Noodles are my favorite here.
Order 6 dishes: no flavor on pineapple fried rice, tofu pat-see-wu, papaya salad w shrimp. Beef mint fried rice, chicken curry taste ok but that is just the mint and coconut juice, respectively. Shrimp pad Thai ok. Most to all are flavorless.
From SH so we had to try and drove to summerlin to taste good Thai food.
This place is the best Thai food. I've had in Vegas so far. Everything is fresh and the service is great. Can be a little pricey, depending on what you get but worth it.
Authentic Thai Food! Papaya Salad is the best in town!
Good food and fun atmosphere. The pad Thai was not spicy but flavorful and full servings. The banana rolls were delicious.
This is my go to place for take away.
An all-around good Thai food place, with good food, good service, good atmosphere and slightly highish prices. The one to blame for rising costs and prices everywhere is you-know-who ... let's hope he makes like the first syllable of his name and goes Bye soon!
We enjoyed our meals. Red, green, and yellow curry. Also, some pad Thai and chicken-fried won tons.
Tasty fast
Not a restaurant but a fast casual place for good Thai food
Delicious Thai food with friendly staffs. The service here is faster than most restaurants and the prices are reasonable.
Only tried this place 1 time and we mostly loved it. The veggie egg rolls had a weird taste in the wrapper/dough used that none of us cared for. I had the spicy green bean w pork and it was excellent w the pork very tender and shaved thin. Pineapple fried rice was better than most, very tasty. Chicken wings were tender but the skin was too fatty for me. Papaya salad was sooo good, probably the best in LV. Portion sizes of everything was huge ! Everyone had enough leftovers for another meal. Will definitely go back and they’re only 5 minutes from my house !
They don't give you infused water anymore. The tap water is the same water that my morning dookie touches 🤢. If they want me to return they'll have to start peeling some citrus and do their jobs. Once that happens they can give me a call at 702-386-BITEME 😎
This is the best Thai Food I have ever eaten in the US. Better than any Thai food I have ever eaten in LA or NYC. Everything on the menu is outstanding. A visit to Vegas means having lunch or dinner here at least twice before going home. Great staff as well. A+
So not impressed. I aye here once before and remember not being impressed. Since I just moved down the street and it had such a high rating, I figured I'd give it another shot. I won't be making that mistake again. I ordered the pad see ew and the noodles were overcooked and doughy. Not a good texture at all. Flavor was bland. My order was to go and I had asked for chili on the side several times. It was not included.
Great tasting food!
Great food and reasonable prices. We ordered to go but still got great service!
Usually no complaints… good but today the yellow curry tasted funny.. x can I suggest you use palm, coconut or olive oil for your cooking.. the soy oil is not good for people., thanks
Wonderful place, great food,amazing people.
Possibly the best Thai food casual place in Las Vegas. We have been going to this establishment since if opened and it just keeps getting better and better. The owner of this place also owns one of the best fine dining Thai restaurants in Vegas Nittaya's Secret Kitchen Top rated in Vegas for many many years. The food at block 9 is high quality food in a very well though of serving arrangement. Order at the counter your given a number to place on your table then waiter brings your meal. Super easy and convenient. Self service soft drinks and water. They also have a great selection of craft beers on tap and a good selection of wine. Fantastic place for casual dinner with friends. Never disappoints !!!! Take out is also very very good. Containers are all well though out and microwave great. Not to be missed while in Vegas
The missing star is for the plastic forks. Otherwise it was a perfect lunch.
I eat here every week. Food is so yummy, service is helpful and kind. They accommodate my gluten allergy very well! I’ll be a customer forever!
The best!!! Go try it!
Figured I'd give this place another try.. My mistake.
No nutritional menu.👎
Disappointed with the food here. Miniscule amount of chicken in my drunken noodles order just like last time I was here. None of the noodles were whole long noodles in my drunken noodle order. So all of the noodles were just little tiny pieces all broken up.
Flavor is lacking.
Grew up with Thai food my entire life.
Customer service was good.
Won't be back
If you've been to Nittaya's Secret Kitchen and loved it, be sure to try this little out-of-the-way, casual spot that features some of the very same dishes she serves at her full service place. And eclectic beer and single-serving wine selection round out a menu that's sure to please everyone you bring. Don't miss this one!
Best authentic Thai food in Vegas & there are many other good ones. The E- San sausage is a must.
Great Thai food and really quick service.
Super place! Food is excellent and traditional. Always busy take out. Estimate to pick up is accurate. The order I get always lasts for a couple of meals as leftovers.
The value for the money paid is EXCELLENT!!
Flavorful, tasty, satisfying. Must have the tempura spinach salad appetizer!
Amazing. My new go to take out spot. Highlights: pages Thai, spinach salad, pork egg rolls, and banana rolls.
Great place for Thai takeout. Curries are especially good.
This hidden gem was catered around office buildings (had an appointment with attorneys) which we serendipity happened upon; we've been here twice:) Everything we've ordered has been a delightfully authentic and deliciously unique taste from the Thai orient. Drunken noodles and spinach salad is by far our favorite. Looking forward to visiting here again but will bring more friends to share the exotic culinary experience.
Spinach salad was delicious but gave me food poisoning. I still have an unopened pad thai in my fridge and am contemplating throwing it out. Ironic because I usually go to Archi's but switched to Block 9 when I heard about Archi's dirty kitchen.
The best Thai food I’ve had in Vegas
green cury is excellent
Amazing food. Great service. The spinach is like nothing I’ve ever had!
Food was delicious… but when I get Thai food I want it to be spicy! I asked for their highest spice level and got an extremely un-spicy krapao(chicken w/ basil) and a couple of hot sauce packets on the side. Too bad, because everything else (flavor/service/etc.) was great!
Spinach salad is amazing!
It hit the spot. Good food at a fair price.
Not so good to compare with other Thai foods.
Red Curry is heavenly! Tom Kha is delicious. Bangkok Fried Rice is mostly just rice, has barely any broccoli or other ingredients in it. Clean place, nice waiters, free wi-fi.
Yummy basil eggplant with tofu! Quick-ish, hip-ish, strange office park location. Vegan friendly
Not that good for a Thai restaurant I tried the fried rice it was alrite done had much better before and the pad Thai isn’t that great either I asked for shrimp they gave me chicken waste of my money
Nasty, nasty, NASTY case of food poisoning here! AVOID! My tofu was expired and had clear signs of mold.
Absolutely delicious...great lunch specials!
Anyone who claims 'world famous' had better back it up...and Block 9's 'World Famous Spinach Salad' did that and more.
The flavor of this dish is simply incredible-it reminds me of the fried morning glory I used to eat while visiting Bangkok; one bite took me back there immediately.
And seriously...how the heck do you individually batter and fry each leaf of spinach?!?! Each.Leaf. Simply amazing.
Everything in my order yesterday-Tofu French Fries, Spinach Salad, Tom Kha Gai, and Moo Ping....all delicious. Aroi Maak! I will be back.
👍
Great food. Nice people
Some of the best Thai food in Las Vegas. Same owners as the Nittaya's sit down restaurants and very similar food quality (at cheaper prices). I don't think there are any wrong choices on the menu, so pick your favorite Thai dish. Always a great choice.
The food is consistently good and place has amazing service.
Just discovered this place…where have you been all of my life. It was so amazing, so fresh and flavorful.
Best Pad Thai in all of Las Vegas....PERIOD!!
This place is a hidden gem .
They do Thai food to perfection and charge little
. It’s worth extra 10 miles to drive .
Excellent
The food is consistently good. We always do take out. The food items are marked and well packaged.
We used to live in Thailand for quite awhile..
this is it right here! Authentic and delicious, ask for Spicy!!!! The panang was delicious and full of chicken. Large portions. Papaya salad was perfect. Can’t wait to come back and try pad krapao and mango sticky rice
Only downside is I really hope they recycle all the single use items.
Great place for dinner
Food is good. But service is bad
Really good
This is possibly the best Thai food I’ve ever had in Las Vegas I have frequent their establishment 3 to 4 times a week the food is always top notch
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE BLOCK9❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
ABSOLUTELY my FAVORITE, to die for, gone
to heaven DELICIOUSNESS 😎
If I even THINK about the Pad Thai, that’s IT.
Nothing else will satisfy me. I ALWAYS get double shrimp, Pad Thai and RELISH EVERY SINGLE BITE.
My husband is a Drunken Noodles with shrimp AND the Red Curry with shrimp FAN. My real estate agent brought me here for lunch while (successfully) house hunting. So, found THE house AND my ULTIMATE FAVORITE restaurant in Summerlin! Luckily, my hotel was within walking distance so I ate Pad Thai the ENTIRE time. UNTIL, we came back to move in to our new home. Then the cycle started all over again. With a little more
restraint 😋 !!
Can only comment on the yellow curry (since it's all I ever get), but it's so so good. Comparable to Archie's, which is my favorite, but much quicker and less $$.
The food is great! The staff is wonderful & friendly. The restaurant is very clean.
Loved our Pad Si Ew.
My fave Thai restaurant in Vegas so far!
Regular customer here.
Excellent clean thai food. Good portion size, fresh ingredients, delicous flavour and spice. I love the food here. Decent gluten free options. Nice back patio for outdoor dining. Service was prompt. I like that they have individual mini wine bottles, very covid friendly. Everyone was wearing masks and the place seems well organized and clean. Most of the time I order online and pick up,, today I went and enjoyed dinner on the back patio. It was 5pm so not busy. Very pleased, the food is consistently good every time we order there. We will definitely bring friends and family there when visiting Las Vegas.
Order from Block9 at least once a week. Its delicious and they will make it gluten free. Pad thai and drunken noodles 🤤 so good. Very friendly and quick on take out. ***EDIT**** They didn't follow orders on my GF dish and I broke out in a allergic reaction and qm still recovering. WILL NOT GO BACK.
So, I order from the same Thai place maybe once a week Block 9 Thai Street eats, why?
1. Because it's SO delicious and they have GF options
2. They are close by
3. They understand it HAS TO BE GLUTEN FREE
well...... last night was a horrific experience. I get about half way through my chicken pad thai and I full on breakout in a migraine, heat rash and hives and unbelievable anxiety. I looked over the receipts (3) and it all says GLUTEN FREE! They know my profile and have never ever had a problem. I'm SO MAD! and on top of it, I'm in sever pain and had to call out of work. My head is still pounding, my muscles ache and I am VERY inflamed. I feel like calling them would be pointless. Idk what or if there is anything to do but lay here and hope this goes away before tomorrow's shift. These are things you can not take lightly.
Picked up to go order & two bags sitting on the counter & I asked if both of those were my order & was told NO only one. My no tip on the tablet turned into 15% tip on the receipt which I did not look at till later. When we started to eat we discovered the two entrees were missing which was the Beef Salad & Pad Thai. We were charged for Thai Citrus Salad & $2.00 more for beef which we did not even order. When called on this they were rude & only solution was to come back or get a credit on the next order. One woman was almost impossible to understand on the phone when trying to get this problem understood. Be sure to check the order before you leave & the food was not that good & we will never be back.
Recently tried the Garlic Pork. YUM! Every bit as good as my go-to yellow Curry.
It was a nice day, and the outside patio was perfect. Pretty good food, also, and fairly quick.
What a great lunch. I had coconut vegetable soup, it was great on a cold windy day you can't go wrong at block 9 Thai Street Eats staff is excellent
The BEST, most developed flavors that I have had in Thai Food! I was traveling from Atlanta and stayed in the Element Hotel. I ate here 4 times during a 5 night business trip and had a bad cold while there…Block 9’s Soups took care of me just like my Grandmama would have!!!!
Unbelievable bargain. Totally authentic with big portions?and really reasonable prices.
