Sharable dishes & desserts served with beer, wine & assorted hot teas in mellow, contemporary digs.
Excellent portions, presentation, ambiance and service! I had the Arawan Pad Thai and my companion had the Duck Red Curry. We also ordered the chicken satay and spring rolls.
In all honesty, the Arawan Pad Thai wasn't my favorite. The presentation was gorgeous but I didn't care for the flavor. My companion really enjoyed the duck red curry, though. Both appetizers were also delicious! I would definitely come back to try other dishes.
Omg I can not say enough. This Lil place is beyond delicious, and full of flavor. The server was humble, kind, attentive, and caring. The egg rolls, papaya salad, shrimp Wong Ton, Tom Kha, Pad Thai was delicious. I flew in to Vegas and found this little gem. Now listen the neighborhood is less than desirable, so don't come fancy or with a fancy bag. However, the place was clean, and the food was off the charts. Don't let the outside prevent you from coming and enjoying the best Thai ever.Absolutely fantastic!
This is one of our most favorite places to go to. Why? Because this is where me and hubby went for our first date and since then we fell in love with this place. Every Valentines day we go back here to rekindle the memories. Foods are always amazing, we have tried so many different dishes here and everything was delicious. Although my favorite is their big fried whole fish. Service here is always phenomenal, I used to be a server so I know when a service is more than just great but amazing. Every presentation of the dish is very delightful and you could tell that the chef takes pride of it. Their desserts are always something we look forward to, not just creatively presented, but it's always delicious too. I brought my best friend here too for her birthday and she loved it. This place is awesome for special occasion and romantic dates. It's very solemn, and good vibes. I can't say good enough for this place. I hope they keep their business for a long time.

Still my favorite Thai restaurant in Vegas. I cannot highly recommend this place enough ❤️
Be advised this place opens at 5:00 p.m..
Located in commercial center off of East Sahara East of the strip this place is a dining diamond in the rough. The people were friendly service was consistent and the food was very tasty. I had as pictured the mint chicken at a level 5 which the heat did not overshadow any of the subtle flavors at all easily a number seven would have pepped up a bit but just to be safe and I was rewarded with a great tasting dish. With some friends numerous dishes were ordered including one of the ones pictured and a bunch that were not the Thai Tea I wanted to order a picture and just put a garden hose in it it was so tasty. The rice noodle covered prawns / shrimp we're good as well especially with the plum sauce that it comes with. Also the spring rolls are very clean tasting light wrapped with Greenery topped off with a shrimp the sauce for that was tasty and unique as well.
I do recommend it it's located near where the old Lotus of Siam was for those who know. Nearer to some work sites so we'll be going again.
My wife and I have been here several times and they never disappoint. We've tried many delicious food on the menu and they are all so good! Service from the servers was most excellent! I love their fried tofu fried rice. So simple yet very delicious! My wife had the drunken noodle with soft tofu. Both cooked to the correct spice levels and enjoyed every single bite. Will definitely come back over and over again.
Update: still excellent service and great food
Arawan Thai Bistro was awesome! The food was super yummy, especially the Panang curry and chicken satay – seriously delicious. I tried a bunch of dishes like red curry, yellow curry, fried rice, and egg rolls, and they were all really good.
The service was good, and they made the food pretty fast. Prices were fair, and you get a lot for what you pay. Definitely recommend.
They are out of business despite saying they are open.
Super authentic and food amazing 👏
The food was delicious too bad it’s closed down for what seems might be forever. :( So sad!

Still my favorite Thai restaurant in Vegas. I cannot highly recommend this place enough ❤️
I went to Arawan expecting a Lotus of Siam-like experience, but that was not to be. The restaurant is in a weird wasteland of a shopping mall - an odd stretch of ethnic dining spots and shops offering haircuts and Cuban passports. Arawan was empty at lunchtime on a Friday. We were disappointed by a comically limited wine list. Of three white wines printed, only two were available - not a good start. Perhaps we could have ordered better in terms of food, but we followed the suggestions of our very nice server. The only dish that stood out was a lovely massaman curry with short rib. Maybe dinner, with a more adventuresome array of dishes, would have produced better results.
Incredible food
Very spacious and open atmosphere. The food was fresh and flavorful and definitely worth coming back for. Absolutely recommended.
Staying at the Westgate I was not able to find a place on property to eat so I went looking elsewhere. I found Arawan on the map and decided to go here for and early dinner. I was rewarded with very good food and service. Highly recommend the Tom Yum soup. I had green curry chicken as well which was also excellent.
Service and food very good!
Wanted to eat off the strip after a huge trade show at the convention center and decided to try this place. Probably the best Thai food I ever had. I ended coming two days in a row. Pad thai is a must! The green curry and tom kha soup are excellent. Great customer service and very well priced. Quiet but nice setting.. perfect if you want to get from the chaos of the strip.
Just great eats across the board...off strip...

Good good. Big portions.
Fantastic find! Great Thai food. A coworker recommend this place for lunch. $15 gets a 3 course lunch with soup, a main (I chose the curry), and ice cream for dessert. Fast and friendly service. I will definitely be back
We got Panang curry and red curry which were both good. If you want tofu and vegetables they charge extra. The tofu was good but not well done like we asked. The flavor was good however and generous portions. Would recommend!
Love this restaurant.
Absolutely delicious, great service, comfortable and relaxing ambiance. Highly recommend the drunken noodles and the Panang curry with crispy duck.
Truly love this place, the food is always what I expect every time I eat here.
The best Thai food I've ever had. I recommend the crispy shrimp rad na.
Was surprised to find the place almost empty on a Saturday night given the reviews. Fresh spring rolls and sauce were some of the worst I have had. The green curry was decent. Waitress was attentive.
The food here was unfortunately pretty mediocre. While the eggplant was good, the pad Thai was too sweet and soggy and the chicken lacked flavor. The restaurant was also empty despite the rave reviews on Google maps.
This is the best Thai food we have had in a long time and we used to live in Seattle, so that is saying a lot!
The orange chicken was so special, crispy without being to bread and the sauce us sweet but not too sweet. Drunken noodles with seafood was also amazing.
I just found this place. Ands its amazing the food everything we ordered was great.
Okay this is probably the best Thai food I have had in Las Vegas the location is not exciting but the way they have decorated the restaurant inside is very nice and comfortable and interesting with lots of Art but the food was off the charts the catfish was especially delicious
Amazing restaurant Authentic food served piping hot. Courteous service. Loved it
Excellent portions, presentation, ambiance and service! I had the Arawan Pad Thai and my companion had the Duck Red Curry. We also ordered the chicken satay and spring rolls.

literally amazing. the pad thai with tofu was incredible! would definitely come here again. compared to the places i usually get thai from this one it top tier.
This restaurant surpassed all expectations. Two adults and two kids ALL gave this food a 9.5/10! Absolutely the best Thai food we’ve had. Duck curry amazing, they nailed the spice level perfectly. Noodles and pad thai were delicious and the staff is very attentive and we were seated right away. We will definitely make the drive from Henderson to come back for this food.
Beef salad, Thai basil chicken and red curry were excellent. The Tom Yum soup could use more body, but overall not bad.
The Food Is Impeccable! This is one of the First Thai Restaurant That I Have Come Across Which Uses Thai holy basil (bai krapow/ใบกะเพรา) In their Drunken Noodles | Pad Kee Mao | ผัดขี้เมา
It was Absolutely Wonderful and Very Tasty. My New Favorite Restaurant For Thai Food.
Highly Recommended!
We were greeted with smiles...
Every dish:
1st, Arawan PadThai was elegantly presented.
2nd, Braised Short Ribs in Yellow Curry was perfectly flavored...not overpowering in flavors.
3rd, Crab Fried Rice was also pleasingly presented and not short on crabs...
I will definitely come here again and again and try other dishes....
Atmosphere is 5 stars! Beautiful! Quickly acknowledged and seated and served piping hot delicious chicken noodle soup. When entrees were served we had the feeling of eating in a Thai home with caring hosts. Perfect service and complimentary ice cream made our lunch today a 10/10. Highly recommend!

The food was some of the best food we have had in the US.The service was attentive and personalized.
Excellent service with a great selection of Thai quesine. The food was delicious. One of my first stops when I return to Las Vegas!
Fantastic Thai food off the strip. We had a large group and tasted a wide variety of dishes. Highly recommend this spot.
After eating the lemon grass wings and ribeye steak with number 5 heat. I fell asleep and had a dream about them. I must’ve been jet lagged! I’ll be back for sure!!!!!
The best place to eat real Thai food in town. All the service people and the owner are amazing, thank you guys for the great service and for my special coconut soup. ❤️
Fly in your food. Nasty server. Not very clean. Never again. Sketchy area. Stay away.
Excellent lunch specials from 11-3 $15 include soup, entree and ice cream. Thai Iced coffee was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The value for the price was very good. The service was very good , the server was a bit rushed but he's the only server during the lunch time so don't expect any interactions. Lol
My husband and I stumbled upon this place looking for Thai food. We were very impressed. The food was delicious and the service was some of the best that we have had.
The food was very tasty. The service was very efficient, and we received our food very quickly. We only sampled the red curry but it was definitely one of the top (flavor wise) I’ve tried in a restaurant. Most are way too sweet and this was only moderately or appropriately sweet.
Arawan Thai Bistro and Dessert
mouna
Ordered online for take-out. Paid already and then was told that one item of my order was sold out. They offered me a substitute but asked me to pay an extra 2 dollars. Seriously? This place has no hospitality manner. If you don't have an item available, scratch it out from your online menu immediately; if you offer a customer any substitute, you should never charge extra money, not to mention only 2 dollars.
Update: Came back another time for dinner, and oh my goodness!! Dinner is the best, you have to try the lemongrass wings. They are so unique and absolutely mind blowing. We also tried the spicy sea bass, sooo good! I literally wanted to come back the next day!!
The chicken satay is probably the best weve ever had, it is accompanied by amazing house made peanut sauce. We also got the panang curry, which while tasty was thin almost soup like.
Great food and great service. My wife and I had the spicy fried catfish and it was excellent.
The servers were decent (nothing soecial). The food was soggy, tasteless for my pad thai, way too spicy for my friends pineapple rice and the Thai tea was from a can. Very expensive and the restaurant is in a seedy area. I will not be going back.
Unfortunately we had a poor experience. We came for lion a Saturday and it was quite busy. We were seated right away and our order was taken soon thereafter. However, we waited over 1 hour for our food. Our waitress disappeared for most of the time. The food itself was pretty good. I did not enjoy after waiting 1 hour. I would not return.
The Pad Thai was exceptional.
Clean restaurant, , Delicious food, kind service & so glad we found this place. It was recommended by my neighbors and I highly recommend it!
This is the best dinner we’ve ever had in Vegas and our server was just incredible! She knew the menu perfectly well, and the food was plenty and just absolutely delicious! I ordered mine Thai hot and it was exactly what I like, hot but not deadly. This is the best food I’ve ever had in Vegas and I’ve been coming here for about 15 years on a regular basis!
Delicious food served quickly by friendly staff
The remodel of the Dinning area is very nice. I went in recently for the amazing lunch special and was impressed with the new paint, new furniture and new lighting. It's a great location for top quality food.
Bessssst Thai ever. Beautiful presentation but the dishes are beyond words in flavor! Looks like a hole in the wall on the outside but is a hidden gem.
Eat there often. Good food reasonably priced.
We keep coming back best Thai in Vegas.
Deep fried Catfish is a must.
The food was very good. So many places to try. Glad we stopped here.
This was some of the best Thai food I've had anywhere in the world.
I have been here dozens of times and not only is the service impeccable, the food is otherworldly. I have tried almost everything on the menu.
Hidden gem! Everything was fresh and tasty, and the service was excellent.
A great option when all the more well-known options have a lengthy wait. Dont let the outside fool you, the interior warm and inviting.
I've been here a half a dozen times in as many years. There are many places nearly as good closer to home, which is why I have not been here more often. However when I want the best Arawan is where I go. The Duck Noodles and Larb are my personal favorites.
Outstanding service and food. We have had thai food around the country and this is the best ever! Salad soup pad Thai satay and fried rice all excellent!
Not bad
The definition of a hidden gem. While the location is not the best, we come here from across town because nothing else in the city compares. All of the dishes are beautifully presented and great portions for the price. High quality ingredients.
Always save room for dessert because you’ll want to try them all!
In a chaotic silly city, this is a wonderful taste of excellent cuisine. Don't get sucked into the strip hotels. This is the place to go.
Been here a few times and it never disappoints when you're craving Thai Food.
Nice little quaint spot in a sketchy looking area (not too much foot traffic and hidden.) But, one of our favorite spots to dine at.
Food:
Idk what it's called, but it's the Pad Thai with HUGE prawns.
Fried Fish
Pork Ribs
I can't remember all the dishes but all were delicious. The flavors are bold (especially the fish sauce.)
I highly recommend this spot for Thai food.
Very good curry!
Definitely would eat here again.
Clean place with Great staff, amazing food and a great price
This restaurant was a bit difficult to find using Google maps on my phone. I'm glad I was hungry and didn't give up. From the outside, this place is not as appealing as the pictures on the menu. For a Friday night, I was literally the only person eating dinner until a few others arrived about an hour later. I had the choice to sit anywhere. Service was immediate and excellent. My calamari was cooked perfectly and served with a sauce that's sweet with a touch of spice. My main desire was soup on the cold night and I ordered Duck noodle soup. It simply says "marinated duck in brown soup." The menu description of this soup sounds bland. It is far from bland and not just "brown soup." I was shocked at the taste. There is a hint of sweetness that had me loving this "brown soup." Maybe they're trying to downplay the broth. It wasn't salty which is typical of noodle soups. The small amount of green onion and the green leafy vegetable was just right in this bowl of soup. The duck was tender. They didn't skimp on the amount of duck, there's plenty, along with the egg noodles. I would definitely recommend AND go back.
Fantastic service, and some of the absolute best authentic Thai cuisine in Vegas.
Super friendly staff! We eat Thai regularly and we were pleasantly surprised by this whole in the wall gem! Best food we have had in a while.
good
If your looking for great food and staff that remember you this is the place!
Cute decors, food is pretty standard, nothing bad but nothing that really stands out that makes us want to come back again.
I visited Arawan for a celebratory luncheon with a group - they did a great job taking care of us and the food was delicious.
The dessert, Sweet Sensation, tops off the meal. Make sure you save room for it.
The place itself was pretty dumpy and the food was okay. Staff was pleasant. Not inexpensive for the experience
Excellent lunch
Lunch menu $15 includes soup and ice cream
Pad Thai was excellent, 3 is not very spicy for reference
这里有很美味的泰国餐 服务也不錯 而且價錢不贵
Loved this place! Food and service was outstanding. Spare rib yellow curry was life altering.
Everything was amazingly delicious and the staff was so accommodating.
We were a group of 28 who gathered for a reunion dinner on Sept 24 at this restaurant. Koi and Ken the two who took care of the whole group were excellent; the food was great and the overall experience for everyone in our group was wonderful! Five stars are well deserved!
From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly. The food was delicious. We ordered Crispy duck panan, pad tai, Tom Yum goong. Enjoy!
Off the strip by a mile, unpretentious Thai food inside the syrup strip plaza.
Better than staying at the hotels.
Everything on the menu is great. Crispy duck is a must. Friendly and attentive service. If you want Thai food in Vegas this is the spot.
My family had such bad experience on this restaurant. Not only did we wait for so long to get serve or even get our drinks. After we place our orders it took good 30min. To get our 1st order of food our orders of food were not that good and our appetizers came last instead of first to be serve and so by the time we got our appetizer we were
already to go for disappointment. We will never be back here again. Waiters were not attentive at all they didn't bother to check on us after we placed our order.
UPDATE::
Unfortunately I’ve had to update this to 2 stars. The food is still delicious, but they have increased the price by several dollars, which is fine, but they also reduced the portion by over one-half. This is extremely disappointing. I believed maybe a one-time thing, but this is my 2nd time with poor portions. It’s sad, the food has always been good.
Food is delicious and the lunch special is very reasonable! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for high quality Thai food.
A hidden gem. Very nice inside. The tom yum soup was amazing. Shared the pad Thai and Penang curry with my wife. Delicious. I would recommend.
Las Vegas is a special place. Tons of lights, loud music, beautiful people, and wonderful food. After spending $27 each on a red bull vodka the night before my group of 12 needed something special, to be reminded of what Vegas has to offer, off-strip. That's when we ventured to Arawan Thai, a small, unassuming Thai restaurant that punches way above its weight (also way cheaper than the strip!!!)
A few highlights from our marvelous meal:
1. The ahi tuna larb is an incredible spin on the traditional Thai larb salad, made with wonderfully fresh tuna, bright lime and cilantro, and fresh onions and mint. Definitely recommend.
2. All of the curry dishes were spectacular. Massaman curry was sweet and not too spicy and the fatty short rib was a great complement to the curry. The green curry was spicier, less sweet but full of veggies. The yellow curry was on point too -- not too spicy not too sweet.
3. The Arawan pad Thai was special -- sweet and savory, fish sauce, lime juice, tender pieces of chicken and shrimp. The egg lattice on top was a great addition as well.
4. OMG that Thai steak salad with fresh mint 😩 it was so fresh, zingy and bright. The dressing cut straight through the steak's fat with was perfectly medium rare. Get this please.
5. If you're wondering whether it's worth getting the whole that catfish...do yourself a favor and do it. The outside was insanely crispy but the inside was so soft and tender. None of the slimey taste that sometimes accompanies poorly cooked catfish. The empty plate shows that we really enjoyed that fish...
This was a lot of food! You'd expect us to have been done right? WRONG! We also got all of the desserts on the menu and honestly, that was a wonderful decision. The coconut ice cream, outstanding. The banana crepe was shockingly complex, gooey, soft, sweet, crispy and complemented by the Thai iced tea ice cream. The coconut rice and mango was not too sweet, and absolutely wonderful. The mango ice cream was absolutely the best sorbet that I've ever had. This is NOT an exaggeration.
After getting our check (and ceremoniously clapping for and celebrating the chefs), we got four FREE freshly made panna cotta with mango sauce. The pastry chef was literally just testing a new dessert, and it was absolutely perfect. The Panna Cotta was not too sweet and stood up well to the tart mango sauce.
If you are visiting Vegas, you MUST try this place. You will NOT be disappointed. Our trip involved laughs, hugs, smiles, tears, and lifelong memories. Don't settle for bad food, especially when places like Arawan exist to make incredible food experiences available, just off the Vegas strip. Happy Eating.
Disappointed! We ordered the signature Crispy duck and it’s dried and not crispy at all! The signature scallop with green curry is not the same as the picture from the menu. Zucchini and bamboo shoots are not a good combination, however the eggplant was nicely cooked! The Egg papaya salad was weird! We’ve never seen a papaya salad with green beans and big chunk of sausage! The name of the restaurant is Arawan Thai Bistro and Dessert Menu but the waiter didn’t even ask us if we wanted to try the dessert. He cleaned the table and gave us the bill right away!
This restaurant is one of the best that I have ever eaten in. The thai food was exceptional. For 13.00 you get a soup (the broth was beyond great), the niodle dish that I had was with tofu, also very flavorful. Then for dessert they made see crème brulée. Like I said best ever.
We had a work conference in Las Vegas and made a reservation for 15. The restaurant was very accommodating and handled our large group like champions. All of the food was amazing and everyone raved about the appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Highly recommend for any occasion large or small.
Arawan has amazing Thai food! Their lunch special is very much worth the $13. You get a soup of the day, entree and dessert. Good food, good portions and fast service. I go here for lunch about 1-2 times a month.
We went with a large group and everybody LOVED their dish. The salad with the lime dressing was OUTSTANDING! I will be coming back when I visit Las Vegas….
I believe they changed management. The food was okay, it was better before. The service was good.
Good food. Good service. Used to go to the other Thai place in the same plaza but I think they are closed. Plus their wait used to be crazy. Overall I think this place is better due to convenience. Check it out
AMAZING FOOD!!! GREAT SERVICE! FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!! DEFINITELY A HIDDEN GEM
Unbelievable from start to finish! The papaya salad was delicious and had the right amount of spice. One of our group got the pad thai and the egg drizzle cage around the dish was so interesting added to both the visuals and the taste. Curries were on point and the thai basil was tasty from start to finish. Also, generous pours of the wine were a welcome bonus.
Did a google search “Best Pad Thai Noodles in LV, Nv” and got ‘Arawan Thai Bistro’. And the results are incredible!!! This dish has a delicate netting made from Eggs!! Amazing!! Ordered this mild but Chili powder on side.. yes I am a wimp!! But love it! It is the I have ever had!!. Calvin Ogawa
Always fabulous quick service and DELICIOUS food!
Inside is very pleasant and looks a lot more upscale than expected from what you see from the outside which is an unassuming strip mall restaurant. The food is probably the best Thai we've had both in taste and presentation. Courteous and accomodating waiters. No wait on a Thursday at 6:30pm. Excellent panang curry and tom yum soup. Reasonable prices (and good size portions) compared to any decent food in Vegas. We took two buses from the strip to get here, and it was all worth it! A gem off the beaten path.
Horrible tasteless food. We ordered one of the signature dish which is overpriced, came as cold in watery sauce. Asked to reheat it. Server didn’t like it and when they brought back male server was very rude.
We love Thai food and eat everywhere we travel but this experience was very disappointing.
We did family style and everything was great! Exception of only 1 choice of soup with lunch, and I didn't want chicken.
Las Vegas Thai food has many options. From the fancy to the hole in the wall. This place falls somewhere in between. The location is pretty hidden and the decor is somewhat basic; however, the food is what is important. The food here is spot on, I have eaten here over a dozen times and I have never been disappointed. I live in Vegas part time and this is one of my favorite restaurants. I would highly recommend this spot. The staff and food is superb!
I’m in Vegas and wanted Thai food off the strip. Arawan Thai Bistro was close and had good reviews so we decided to try it. Oh man was it good! I had the Green Curry and my partner had Drunken Noodle and both were amazing! In fact, I order green curry everywhere I go and this was the best I’ve ever had! And that’s saying a lot because I order it everywhere! Try this place, you won’t be disappointed!
Excellent foods great service and very nice deserts, price right too.
We love Thai food so all road trip around US we tried to find & eat Thai food🤗. And high recommend about Arawan Thai Bistro great food, great service & great restaurant❤️
Came on a recommendation from a friend that knows I love good Thai food. Off the beaten path a bit, but we'll worth it. Definitely recommend eating hear and getting a roti for dessert! Presentation was excellent I was just too hungry to take pictures!
Small serving, did not add tofu like I ordered, but offered after my food came to fix it. I was in a hurry so couldn't wait. Service was ok, but the server acted like it was a pain to modify my order as I am vegan and gluten free. Will not return. $15 meal that did not fill me up. I couldn't eat their extras like the soup or cake as they were not vegan and they charged the same price
I entered for lunch, I was able to order the green curry for the dinner menu. It was delicious. Pad Thai had thin noodles and delicious taste. It seemed to be busy probably because there were only two people in charge of the hall.
Best pad thai I have ever had. why to go off the chart.
Best we’ve had in Vegas, and we’ve been to several. Awesome food. Everything was light and subtle, and the curries had well-balanced flavors. Service was great and the place generally has a really nice vibe.
Excellent customer service and food
The best Thai food we’ve ever had!! It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We went for lunch menu and the food portion was big (included soup and dessert for that price also). Waiters were so extremely nice. Highly recommend!
Great food
One of the best Thai restaurants I have been to and I have been to hundreds
Amazing food , great service definitely coming back . Thank you so much
It is surprisingly fancy and clean compared to the area. Every dish was delicious and everyone had a good time.
Wonderful food. I had the spicy green beans with chicken. The green beans were not overcooked....they were still crispy. So, so good. Some of the best food I've had in Vegas.
Always amazed never disappointed
Great food can't wait to go back. Love it.
Wow! This place is great, and in such a surprising location. Amazing food and good service too.
Excellent thai food, great costumer service, I've tried different dishes and all are so good
