Best Thai restaurant in Omaha and Lincoln! We’ve been looking for a good thai restaurant for a couple of years and finally we found the one! Their Pad Thai is amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu. Plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is cozy. Absolutely recommend!

Ordered to go. I got an order of pad thai with tofu and some fresh rolls. You have a choice on spice level, 1-10. I got 5. I like a good bit of spice and usually if I haven’t eaten at a location yet I always try it with a five so I know I can go up or down and five was about perfect for me. The people working were very pleasant. Only thing I would prefer is more herbs in my fresh rolls. It did come with a peanut sauce, which was nice, but I prefer a sweet chili dipping sauce. I look forward to trying more items in the future.

For me this Thai restaurant is currently the best in the town. Full of flavors, very authentic and tasteful. Pick up is one of the best I have seen, they come upto your car along with the device and one can just swipe their card from sitting in the car. I do feel the portions are less compared to other Thai places in the town and that needs to be improved. I am a big fan of their Fried rice (any type) and can't stay away from eating almost every week.

This is a husband and wife restaurant that puts love into their food. Everything is made from scratch and even the sauces. It’s the best beef drunken noodles around. My step daughter loved the yellow curry and we also love the pineapple fried rice with chicken. The pho is also amazing. They also hand make their Rangoon’s and our favorite is mango.

This place is just awesome! The peanut sauce is the best! As I am vegetarian, tried the vegetarian options and the restaurant can replace anything with what you ask for! I tried Basil fried rice, and Masaman curry, and tasted very good. Happy that I was able to find this restaurant after 2 years😊I have tasted Thai tea before and have never seen Thai coffee. The coffee tasted so good as well. I got a chance to meet UM and she is very cool and very friendly. I recommend this restaurant for Vegan options and will go again.

Best Thai food we’ve ever eaten. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and haven’t been disappointed once. Yellow Curry and Drunken Noodles are the go to. Dietary restriction friendly. They get busy with carry-out orders during the dinner rush, but it’s well worth the wait!

Ordered curry to go spice level 15. It was bland and had literally zero spice. The rice was just a solid block and wouldn't separate.

Ordered takeout at 6 PM. Told it would be 70 minutes. My wife and daughter arrived at the restaurant at 7:10. It is 8:35 now and still no food. I will never order food from this place again. The food is good, but not that good.

I really love the food here. Everything is good and the atmosphere nice too, but the service and speed is just very slow at present. I went there for a work lunch today and menus didn't hit the table for the first 20 mins. We ended up being there for nearly 2 hours.

I want to make it clear, I really like this place, but the speed makes it hard to plan for.

The combo pho is some of the best broth I've ever had. Server was polite and prompt. The bowls & chop sticks were also high quality which is a plus.

My work ordered a large takeout order (7 meals) at 11:45 and our order was complete and waiting for me when I walked in at 12:15. They were quick, and everyone's order was delicious. I've never met a drunken noodles I didn't like, but this one is magical. I'll be back!

We were still without power last night and staying out at my mom's place close to this restaurant so I thought we would give it a try for takeout last night. It was fantastic! I ordered the drunken chicken noodles and the fried shrimp rolls. I wonder if they make their own noodles because they were different than what you usually get at other places - they were very wide with great flavor and they were phenomenal. When I woke up this morning, the first thing I could think of was how excited I was that I had leftovers. The gentleman who worked the takeout was so nice as well. I will definitely be driving back out here for takeout even after our power comes back on!

If you want bland Americanized Thai and enjoy complaining about food having too much flavor then this isn’t your place. However, if you want authentic Thai food that’s bursting with flavor then this is it!! This is my family’s favorite place to eat including my 6 & 7 year old boys who love their Lad Na and Pad See Ew. We live over an hour away so when we do stop by we usually get takeout and order 2-3 meals each to bring home so we can live off of this amazing food for several days (I know I know, but seriously it’s that good!). The owners are lovely to talk to and make pretty much everything from scratch. They also are more than willing to swap things or make adjustments so if you need a change just speak up. They can’t help if you don’t say anything. If I had to choose my last meal it would be from Khao Niao. My only problem would be deciding which of their amazing dishes to choose!

This place sure is good. I'll say I've only eaten here once, got the drunken noodles and wow. Their made in house noodles are fantastic, they look a bit different than noodles at other restaurants but they are maybe the best I've ever had. Looking forward to trying more of their dishes!

Really good Pad Thai. I like some heat on mine, I do 5. I wouldn't go any higher then that. Their 5 is pretty hot. It's the sniffles and sweats, but it's good at 5. Good size portions and pricing is fair.

Best Thai in Omaha! My husband and I have tried a lot of Thai places, but we haven’t found anywhere else that can meet this level of flavor and quality of ingredients. The customer service is really excellent as well. We have no problem driving across town for this food!

Absolutely delicious! Khao Niao is our go to when we want Thai food! Their Thai basil chicken stir fry and pad Thai are my favorites! Their eggrolls are a must and delicious as well! I've been a regular here for about 2 years, and I can say wholeheartedly that this is the best Thai food in Omaha. This is actually my favorite place to get food anywhere in United States, without a doubt. Everything is always super fresh and flavorful. The owners are the greatest people. I highly recommend every single person to try this place, because it's truly a gem.

First time dining at KN…ordered the Mango Fried Rice w Chicken and Beef. All I can say is…KA-BOOM!!! I’ll be back for sure. There is nothing pretentious about Khao Niao. Service is friendly…and the food is excellent! Highly recommend!

The food was pretty tasty overall. Our rice and noodle dishes were excellent. 1/2 the shrimp in the spring rolls weren't cleaned.

The service wasn't great, even though the restaurant only had 3 tables occupied. The older man working there didn't check on us to ask how the food was, nor did he refill our water or ask if we wanted another iced coffee. When we were done, we waited for ten minutes to see if we could get our bill and a to-go box. My wife finally went to the kitchen to ask for our bill.

But the entrees were great. I'd probably get an order to-go next time.

It took ~1.5hours to get the food. We arrived just before 7pm.
The staff was very friendly and we got to meet the chef after as she came to talk with people after the food was done for the evening.

Second time I've been here. The pad thai was super good. Fairly unique. They used a fair amount of fish sauce. I really liked it! Second time i got the pho! It was very good. I had leftovers with the pad thai so i got the regular size pho. I would probably get the large next time. Regular wasn't quite big enough for me. Best Thai joint this side of town! And only pho place!

We had the pad see ew which had wonderful chicken, very silky noodles and great flavor. The Tom Ga Kai soup was the best I’ve had in Omaha, and the fresh spring rolls had lots of vegetables and a crisp texture. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Khao Niao has been a staple for us since moving out to West O from Midtown. They easily have the best Thai curry I've had (I can't get enough of their massaman curry). Wife loves their pad thai and pad see ew. Can't go wrong with any of the food here!

The food is amazing when you can reach them to place an order. I'd eat here way more if they had online ordering.

I order vegan pho and it is as good of pho as I’ve ever had

Food is decent but the portion sizes offer very little value for money. A curry dish costing $14-$15 comes in a 16 oz container, and the rice comes in an 8 oz container. We ended up spending more than $65 ordering food for 4 people - yet the food was barely enough for 2 people. The food was also prepared late despite the fact that we had called well ahead in time (more than 1 hour) to order the food. Unless you want to spend more than $20-$22 per person, I would not go here.

Leaving a review in hopes of encouraging others who were in our shoes to make the stop. We passed through Omaha on a road trip to Iowa, and the reviews brought us here despite it being 25 minutes out of our way. Turns out, it was more than worth it. We ordered crab rangoons, drunken noodles and massaman curry, and they were all beyond exceptional. Especially the massaman curry, which was our favorite. Cannot recommend enough!!

As soon as this place opened we started going and have tried tons of different things on their menu. But we always go back to pho. I swear that broth is medicinal. It's complex and rich, like maybe it took them days to make. I don't know what it's like to have a grandmother but I'm convinced it would be like having a bowl of rare beef pho for dinner with a cinnamon roll for dessert! This resturant serves amazing food, period. It's fresh, healthy, lots of vegetarian options. Family owned and operated, authentic food. Thanks for sharing your culture with us all!

Everything about this place is great. The noodles and sauces are made in-house from scratch. Fresh noodles puts these guys on another level. All of the dishes are fresh prepared. I've tried a lot of the menu and everything is delicious. I order spicy level on main dishes and it comes out perfect. The mango sticky rice for dessert is a must. The staff including the owner are very generous and friendly. This is my go to for Thai food in Omaha. Photos to come.

I’m sure other items are great as well but those two keep me coming back.

I witnessed an employee drop the spoon from the sauce container. Picked it up from the ground, cleaned it with his shirt and put it back into the container.

Horrible experience…was excited to eat but sat and waited for 39 minutes with no communication of my order. First started off with me requesting a straw and I had to remind him 15 minutes later. There were only 2 tables at that time occupied along with me. I ordered two dishes, laab and papaya salad right away. A party came in 15 minutes after I did and received their dishes less than 7 minutes after they sat. Chalk in on the list of establishments with horrible customer service. After I asked for my order status the waiter replied it’ll be a while. Up I left. Disappointed in the service and lack of customer service.

Best of all, the family that owns and operates it is so sweet and genuine that dining there feels like you've been invited into someone's home. We eat at a lot of Thai restaurants and today’s meal at Khao Niao was the best. The flavors, the freshness, the presentation— just extraordinary. We had pho (brisket and chicken), spring rolls and mango sticky rice. The lovely chef came out to check on us and share some of their practices like the fact that everything is made in house. You can taste the “soul” in this food and we can’t wait to return!

I got the Nam Tok and egg rolls. Flavor of the Nam Tok was awesome! The egg rolls are also pretty great the sauce with them is also great. It’s not your typical sweet and source but is a really great sweet sauce!

First time in and had the Pad Thai and my husband had the Garlic Pepper Steak. Both were big portions and fresh flavor. The veggie spring rolls were also large and four to an order. Most unique was the fact that we got to chat with the owner and hear her story! What a positive and passionate person! She even proudly told us how she makes basically everything from scratch and the food is MSG/gluten free and vegan. WOW. The best Thai iced tea I've ever had also...highly recommend. I think they have some of the best Thai in Omaha.

Stopped in for lunch and had the Yellow Curry with Chicken, medium spice (6). Everything was delicious, the curry was spot on. Service was great, owners were very cordial. Would definitely recommend and will definitely go back for more.

This is the best thai food you can find in Omaha, and they have amazing options for vegans/vegetarians! I spoke with the owners Om and Ed over dinner and they told me they make their own vegan fish sauce which is used in all the non meat dishes. I'm excited to go back and try the pad thai and drunken noodles without egg now that I know they can be made vegan. The tofu spring rolls we had were the best I've ever had, and the same goes for their massaman curry and mango sticky rice!

Called in to make a phone call order, To Go! Each time the person lifts the phone and do not speak and I waited for 4 minutes each time and finally I had to hung up and called the second time.Same thing, the person picked up and didn't speak to me for ~4 minutes, I could hear the person speaking to someone else(some background) while I was on the phone waiting that someone could speak to me. Really Disappointed

We have been talking about eating here for months now and finally made it last night. All I can really say is, shame on us for waiting so long.

The food is AMAZING. There were 4 of us and we tried the fruit rangoon, which are out of this world. The fresh spring rolls and pork spring rolls were super tasty. We then had pho, pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and Thai basil chicken. Every bite was wonderful, and the owner came by and talked to us many times, sharing some different spices and sauces to try with our meal. She is a real treat and was wonderful to talk to.

This place is the real deal. Do not pass go, stop and try a few things off the menu and talk to the owners, it will make your night.

I was visiting Omaha to see family, and went out of my way to grab takeout from here. It's been a week and I can't stop thinking about the Pad See Ew. Aw man. Those noodles were so thicc and chewy. They gave me so much extra spice since I asked for it, and it was perfect. I'm back home, over 400 miles away, and I am kicking myself for not grabbing several more portions to freeze and have for later. Truly yearning for those darn noodles. 😅

Green Curry absolutely blew my mind. Very authentic and delicious Thai food, cooked by a lovely owner and her team with love and knowledge about Thai cooking. Great little place. Folks very friendly and helpful. Group of 9 not all familiar with Thai food. They explained every dish and differences. Curries excellent, pineapple/mango Rangoon wonderful. This place had sat on my “to try” list for months. Finally had the opportunity to give it a go on a cold and blustery January day.

Mind the hours as they, like most, close for a few mid arvo.

The people were absolutely lovely & proud of the food they served. Handmade noodles and homemade sauces are heavily featured and for good reason!

Called in my carry out order (for 5 people) and picked it up within 20 minutes. !

The Panang (vegan!) was rich and fresh, without being too heavy or cloying. The Drunken Noodles were veggie-full, hearty, and well sauced without being overly oily or drippy. And! Not to take away from any of the other dishes I ate - but! - the Chicken Pho was, in my personal opinion, the absolute standout. The broth was simply amazing - the best, most incredibly flavourful, light, complex, clean, absolutely gorgeous, I have ever eaten here in NE. I got halfway through it before remembering to add the extras. Which, by the way, were also delightful. Plentiful noodles, tasty chicken, thinly sliced onion, fresh cilantro and jalapeño slices, crispy bean sprouts/shoots, and 2 sauces.

Ordered medium heat for all dishes. It was spicy-ish to a couple folks - nothing a wee drink of milk or dollop of plain yoghurt didn’t quickly calm. I would describe it as deeply warming - but didn’t detract from the actual flavour of any dish (a feat!).

Will definitely be revisiting.

Best Thai in town!

This place is sooooo yummy. We tried a different Thai place about a month ago and it had no flavor and way too much spice but this place has the perfect amount of flavor and spice! I think their portion to price ratio is a tiny bit high... For that price I'd like a bit more. And believe me we were dying for more...finished it all in one sitting🤤🤤🤤 BEST Thai I've had in Omaha so far, glad we finally tried it!

Awesome drunken noodles, homemade! Iced Thai tea was great, fruit Rangoons melt in your mouth. Owners are so friendly. Will be back!

The food was amazing. The pad thai was one of the best we've ever had, and the pho was outstanding. The owner/chef came out to check on us toward the end of our meal. Extremely humble and grateful that we chose her restaurant for dinner. We love this place and will be back again.

Best Thai in Omaha. The curries have just the right amount of spice to make them delicious. The take out is prompt and the food was still steaming hot by the time we got it home.

I have no words! This place is absolutely amazing! My boyfriend and I tried it for the first time today! I can’t believe we live right down the street and just discovered this gem. For an appetizer we ordered the chicken spring rolls with a side of chili sauce and the Thai peanut sauce.The spring rolls were so fresh and delicious. The Thai peanut sauce is to die for! SO good. The chili sauce was good as well but I personally preferred the Thai peanut sauce.

I got the Massaman curry + chicken + medium heat and my boyfriend had the pineapple fried rice + chicken. The massaman curry was everything I wanted and more. The flavors were out of this world! It was sweet with the perfect amount of spice . This might be my new favorite dish.

My boyfriend’s pineapple fried rice + chicken was also phenomenal. The portion size was huge!

The owners were super sweet and chatted with us for a few minutes. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers.

This place did not disappoint. On the contrary, the food was delicious and the service friendly and timely. We ordered some fresh spring rolls as a starter, and a drunken noodle dish and a bowl of rare beef pho as a main course. What a treat! In addition to flavorful, authentically tasting dishes, we were told that the meals we ate were gluten free - an added bonus for someone with gluten allergy/intolerance. The owner (who is also the cook) came out and talked to us about the history of this restaurant, that the noodles in the drunken noodle dish are homemade, and many dishes can be ordered as a vegetarian or even vegan option. Hands down best Thai restaurant in town. Can't wait to go back for more.

Our first time visiting. Heard many great things thst convinced us to stop by. We were NOT disappointed. My wife and I had the Drunken Noodles. I can honestly say it was the best Thai meal we've ever had. We visit Omaha often, and we will be back to try more delicious Thai cuisine every time. if you are looking for great Thai food this is the place in Omaha!

The only Thai food restaurant to go to in Omaha. I recently discovered this place and have been twice within a week because it’s so delicious! The ingredients they use to cook are all super fresh, and you can really taste it. The dishes I’ve tried were so flavorful. They do not use msg, use coconut milk instead of cream, make all their own sauces (including a vegan fish sauce) in house as well as HOMEMADE NOODLES. Need I say more? Ok I will. Everything is just so fresh and clearly made with love. Places like this make me happy and Omaha is lucky to have a place like this that puts in a lot of extra effort for an amazing end result. The couple that owns the place are also very welcoming and charming. My infant was sleeping so they dimmer the lights for us. They even brought me a sample of their Thai iced coffee with coconut milk since I’m dairy free while nursing my little one. It was a pleasure to dine in! Five stars for each of the dishes I’ve tried so far: yellow curry, drunken noodles, pad Thai, crispy egg rolls and the Thai iced coffee. Definitely will be back again soon!

Didn’t bat an eye when I came in with my large service dog and just asked if I had ordered takeout or was eating in. They were very friendly and explained the menu items I was interested in. The basil chicken I ordered to eat in was excellent and spiced exactly as I requested. My pad Thai order to go was prepared just before I was ready to leave so it was still hot and fresh for the person I delivered it to. The main reason I visited here was because all the other Thai restaurants were closed mid afternoon and they had good ratings, but I’ll definitely be back here even if the other restaurants are open next time.

It’s our favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Being just 5 min drive from our place is an advantage. We ordered three times in 3 weeks and tried yellow and red curry, drunken noodles, tom yum soup, and fried rice. Every dish was delicious, and neither order took more than 15 mins to prepare. That’s the main thing we like about them, quick take-out service. They take orders only through the phone, and you have to tell your vehicle color and make for pickup identification—some private parking rules of the building complex of the property.

Excellent Thai cuisine.

This is a Thai gem in Omaha! We are visiting for business and I eat gluten free and my husband is vegan. They are so conscious of food intolerances and allergies and make all their sauces vegan, from scratch with no gluten or dairy. I ordered chicken pad Thai with veggies and it was the most flavorful I've ever had. Trust their recommendations for spice level when you order, it's always good to add more after than for it to be too hot because they use habanero pepper. My husband ordered fried tofu with vegetables and really enjoyed it. Beautiful, fresh vegetables and a lovely presentation. Service was attentive and quick, and we had a nice conversation with the owner. If we lived here, we would go back for sure! Sorry no pics, we dug right in because our dishes were so appetizing looking!
Ps. Get the mango and sticky rice, you won't regret it!

For me this Thai restaurant is currently the best in the town. Full of flavors, very authentic and tasteful. Pick up is one of the best I have seen, they come upto your car along with the device and one can just swipe their card from sitting in the car. I do feel the portions are less compared to other Thai places in the town and that needs to be improved. I am a big fan of their Fried rice (any type) and can't stay away from eating almost every week.

This place is the best! Best pad Thai I have ever had, and every appetizer is just amazing. I definitely recommend the pad Thai, drunken noodles, and any of the curry. It’s all amazing!

Owners also had the Nic-Tal-Gi tailor and clothing store. I remembered her from the original Burlington Coat factory store that was located where Whole foods is now in Regency

AMAZING. Best food ever. Everything is fresh and made from scratch and you can taste it. I had the drunken noodles and the vegetarian spring rolls. My bf had the Pho combo and regular spring rolls. 11/10 soo good. Also I appreciated that the menu and website was easy to navigate and find vegetarian options. Definitely will be frequenting this spot! Also the owners were so nice and answered all of our questions and just overall very pleasant.

Amazing dining experience! Incredibly fresh food all prepared same day including the homemade wide rice noodles. Highly recommend. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The chef even stopped at our table to ask how our meal was. They also have lots of vegan and gluten free options available.
