The chicken roll appetizer and mixed vegetables with chicken entree were excellent. The talkative owner kept me company during my solo business trip dinner. The eclectic restaurant and food are worth the drive.

Their menu is excellent, but the food is BEYOND! The fresh ingredients, made-to-order, authentic Thai cuisine is worth the money or wait. We ordered the Rangoons, dumplings, pad Thai, and drunken noodles. Everything was hot and fresh! I have been all over the world, and it is the best pad Thai I have ever had. This is a must try restaurant in the small town of Como!

Been wanting to try this place out during my travels for some time, glad I finally did. Larry and Peach were so nice and recommended the Tomkha (soup) as an app then the Spicy Basil Eggplant for lunch…thought for sure it was too much, but glad I did it. Was just right, ingredients were very organic , nice spice level, and Tomkha was surprisingly excellent. Will swing back again for the great food and personalities!

I wish someone would help them with portions and efficiency in the kitchen then I’d be here a few times a month. If you’re okay with small portions and very long waits regardless of how busy the establishment is you will be very happy. If you have hungry people or children in your party you’ve been warned.

The portion sizes of entrees are too small. Luckily I got one chicken piece in my chicken drunken noodles. Waited almost 30 minutes for someone to take our order. Used to visit the visit the place occasionally driving all the way from memphis. Not anymore.

Best Thai food I have had! Highly recommend.

I have literally been sitting in this restaurant over 2 hours on a to go order. Six or more tables have come in since I have been waiting. They have had appetizers, entrees and dessert and we have got nothing. When we came in we were told it would take 45 minutes, and we were fine with that. After more than 2 hours still no food with a 30 minute drive home. When I ask about the order I was told that after 2 hours they are working on it. We would leave but after being here this long we aren't leaving without dinner.

I drove 20 minutes to this place, expecting a certain level of service and could not find it completely. After a few minutes of waiting when I arrived, a woman comes from behind the desk and speaks to another person who sitting at a table and says to the person sitting down do we have a customer ? you should know better. She then directs me to sit down and goes back into the back after more minutes of waiting no one shows up and the person at the table who I believe works there never came and addressed me or anyone else, so I walked out. It’s unfortunate whatever happened will cost us both but most certainly you have lost the customer. I imagine it’s a family business hopefully, you teach your relative to be more responsive at the least.

This is the best Thai food I have eaten since living in Tampa. Absolutely delicious!

As a local resident of Panola, I am fortunate to visit this restaurant often.
It is quite easy to say it has become my favorite place to eat in Como. The owners, Larry and Peaches are splendid, the food is euphoric , and the ambience is delightful.

Great atmosphere with a low music level, making it easy for a table of 4 to enjoy the conversation. The food was excellent. We had 3 appetizers, 5 entrees, and 2 desserts. We were full to burst but ate everything, it was sooo good! The chicken fried rice is not to be skipped, neither is the spicy eggplant. The hour's drive from Memphis was worth the perfect evening.

I'm updating my rating because people need to know about this place. If you've ever been to the Como Steakhouse, and, Mississippi you have been right across the road from the Thai Hut. Their food is beyond delicious, all the Thai favorites and the Thai tea is something I have to have every time I've been there. The food and drinks will not disappoint you. The service can be somewhat slow because frankly it's not a huge building, and they're always busy. Because they're great! Anyway if you're passing down through that area, I encourage you to give them a try.

I ordered here 3/23/23. I ordered the shrimp and chicken Thai rice. It had no seasoning, 2 shrimp and 2-1/2 pieces of chicken. The serving was small enough for a 6 month old baby to devour. I also ordered egg rolls and they were stale. I also asked for added onions and mushrooms and I may have had 4 each. It cost me a waisted $35 and I’ll never eat here again.

I'd heard this was an amazing place. Last evening we took a 30 minute drive down to check it out, and pleased we did. Nothing fancy to look at but sometimes simple is best. My wife had the Ragoon and I had the Pad Thai. The Ragoon broth was so smooth I could have just drank that alond and the chicken was so tender. The Pad Thai was the best I've had. Don't go here expecting a "fast food" style delivery, but the wait will be well worth it as the meal comes out nice and hot. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. Needless to say, we will be back.

Small place and a long wait on weekends. Full compliment of beer and wine helped with the long wait. They cook to order, the place is super small, and on weekends they have a ton of take out orders at any given time.

The food was great, but I am not sure I would wait that long again...about an hour plus from sitting down to being served.

My wife and I went went to Thai Hut with my folks who live somewhat close and had eaten here once before. The positives - the setting is small and cozy, the staff very friendly, and the food is excellent. We had pork rolls and pot stickers as appetizers and then various dishes (basil stir fry, drunken noodles, coconut shrimp soup are the ones I recall). The tastes were great and came out hot. The negatives - Como is a small town and the "strip" where the restaurant is located has limited parking so cars are off-road in grass all over the place. Also, the food service was extremely slow. Our appetizers came out in a reasonable amount of time but it took way too long to get our main dishes, and then they came out one by one with 3-5 minutes at least between each. Except for the food service I would have given 5 stars.

My wife's and my favorite restaurant between Oxford and Memphis. Moderately expensive but is worth it as the food is delicious and has a homemade, fresh taste. Often we dine in and order dinner to go. Owner and his wife are the only staff; they're friendly and knowledgeable. Due to not having staff can be slow when many patrons but have beer and wine(?) available to make the wait easy. Very highly recommend.

Was looking for a good local place to eat. So glad I found Thai Hut. Got the pork roll app, pineapple chicken fried rice and hut chicken and shrimp curry. All of it was absolutely amazing. The owner Larry was a really nice guy. Can't wait to go back and have the curry again.

Perfect small place with only about 10 tables. Dont be in a hurry; it's worth the wait for spectacular food. Definitely will go back. Very friensly...made to feel like family

Food is made fresh and delicious...first time eating here will be back. With it being a small location within a small community I can understand a long wait due to it being cooked fresh to order and of course not having a large wait staff.

Ok so me and my wife had plans to eat at another restaurant but they had ran out of food. I’m so happy that they did! So we crossed the street to the Thai hut, this was our first time eating at the Thai hut, or Thai food in general. First, the owner was extremely pleasant, and personal. The whole time we were there he was happy to be serving us, we were even close to closing time and Larry just said it’s no problem come on in! Second The food was amazing! The appetizers were spot on, the main courses were full of flavor, and dessert was a great ending to the night. So happy to meet Peach “the chief” to tell her how much we enjoyed the food! If you are headed to como you need to try the Thai Hut!

Just wow! So fresh, hot, authentic, brilliant, flavorful. We make the trip out here over 45 minutes to get some of their Curry's. All have been unbelievably good. So good in have to fight to not lick the plate, fight hard.

Very disappointing price portion Ratio. Service was bad. Lack of wait staff and owner took forever to bring us our food. never again! Went for dinner last night to celebrate my birthday, and was very far from impressed. We had to push our own tables together and prepare our own place to eat at 6pm. The food took FOREVER. The owner Wasn’t warm and welcoming. He is such a terrible waiter, incapable of remembering drinks or much else. The fact that they only have one chef makes having a even a party of 4 pretty impossible. 2 different Parties that came in after the Us got their appetizers and main entrees while we were still waiting. Our food did not arrive til 745pm. Portions were small for the pineapple fried rice combo we ordered. 15$. There’s more rice than ever— 3 pieces of shrimp & dash of vegetables. Last year we ordered coconut soup $8. it was a very small bowl and wasn’t enough to share ...These two trips were disappointing...can’t recommend this place based on these bad experiences

So we got there at 6 pm, whole little strip of restaurants were packed out with waiting lists. We were basically ignored for about 10 minutes when we first walked in and had to help ourselves to menus and a table. The owner waiting tables just looked like he was mad we walked in and it was busy. We were told itll be 45 minutes to get our food/appetizer whatever. So ok we waited for about 30 minutes to get an appetizer, well while waiting a good 10 minutes another table set beside us and ordered an appetizer and got it before us within 15 minutes. So we waited a good 30 minutes to get our appetizer. Then another 20 minutes or so passed and they got their food 😡😡😡😡😡 well they eat and its now been a good hour for us and we have only had an appetizer and theyre about to finish in about 70 minutes since sitting down and we were getting our food as they were leaving. So basically he helped a regular customer instead of helping a new customer.

Food was top notch but owner was mad we even walked in the door it seemed. I asked him why did they get served first when they showed up after us. His response (with air typing on his fake keyboard) they ordered ahead of arriving. We saw and heard him take their order right beside us. Well to say the least thats the first and only time we will be spending our money there. Our ticket was $57.77 and that was his exact amount, not one red cent as a tip.

By recommendation we drove 40 miles to Comi from Desoto County. The meal and service lived up to the hype. Due to Covid, they were only taking dine-in parties by reservation but there was only 1 other party there so they sat us anyways. This is the best Thai food around! Beware the designated hot dishes are very hot 🔥.

Thai Hut is one of very few Thai restaurants in the area. I love Thai Hut because it is quiet,quaint and Privately owned. The food is awesome with the heat made to order. Can't say enough good things.

Great food!! But, we arrived at 12 and still didn’t have our food at 1:15. I think the reason the food is so good is because they starve you first...lol! 😅 My recommendations: 1) Don’t go if you are in a rush. 2) have the entire table order the same thing. Any variation will cause your food to come out at different times. 3) the restaurant should give you some type of appetizer to hold you over while you wait...like soup or bread. 4) portions need to be larger for the price point and wait time. 5) the owners need to get help with the register, filling drinks, and prepping food.

Larry and Peach are both very outgoing and have a great little place. Had Namtok pork and spicy basil chicken and both where very good! The spicy basil chicken was my favorite but there are many other menu items. If you like real Thai cuisine and are in the area, stop at the Thai Hut!

Let me start by saying how much I appreciate an owner who is personal with his customers. You develop not only a love for the food, but learn his and his wife’s love for the business. We always get drunken noodles. ALWAYS! It’s so good and doesn’t taste like any you’ve had from knockoff Japanese chains. The Thai tea is so yummy and I’m dying for one as I write this. We have a had a few appetizers each time we go, but of course they’re great too. They have a younger child who had also decorated by the door the pictures. It’s precious and it proves even more how proud the family is of their business.

Peach makes the best Tom Kha Ghai soup, the spelling can be different, but the consistency is the same, coconut milk, lemongrass and chicken or shrimp, make this soup an excellent starter. I love to add rice to my soup, to extend the flavor.

Everything I have had here has been fantastic. I have had quite a bit.

This restaurant is amazing! We love the Como Steakhouse, but we also love Indian food etc. This new gem is one of our faves!! We will be coming here often. The owners and atmosphere are very enjoyable. Larry even gave me a small dish of their homegrown Thai pepper and this took my experience to the next level (if you enjoy the heat...)!

Even without much additional validation, one can easily say this is one of the top, if not *the* top Thai restaurant in the region. That they even grow and harvest their own Thai chili peppers by their front door is just one indication.

The food skews towards the true Thai meaning of spiciness, so be forewarned, but it is a foodie experience that will delight and satisfy even the most hard core Thai fans.

The Spicy Basil chicken and the drunken noodles are fabulous (and spicy!) and the house appetizers come paired with homemade plum and fish sauces.

The owners Larry and Peach are world-traveler Indiana Joneses in their own right, and sharing a drink and a Thai feast in this Hut, which used to be Como city hall of eras past, will take you on your own culinary adventures.
