I’m a sucker for reading reviews and the reviews didn’t disappoint! The restaurant is super clean, I went for lunch and service was quick. I ordered chicken pad se ew, it was freshly hot when it was brought out. The noodles were soft, not chewy or clumpy at all. The dish was full of flavor and the chicken was nice and juicy. The portion was really big for lunch, I ended up with leftovers. I would definitely come back!

The spring rolls tasted burnt but they weren't burnt so maybe someone burnt something in the fryer prior to these being cooked in it.
Both lunches we got were very minimal portion for the price. Only 1/2 the container filled
1. The chicken in my dish was rubbery and tasted like it had been reheated. Ate 2 pieces and couldn't even stomach the rest.
2. The other meal we had had so much grease/oil floating on the top of the sauce.
We eat a ton of Thai food and was looking forward to trying something close to home with good reviews.

I had the.... forgot the name!! I got it medium plus spicy its about as hot as a flaming hot cheetoe.

If you want to have a not typical Thai food experience you are in the right place. Amazing food and very well decorated place! Love this people and their food!

They will accommodate special requests, are friendly, and they use the really wide rice noodles, which I love.

I dined in, and the wait staff was very attentive. I had some heavy stuff on my mind, and they made me smile. The food was great, they allowed my dietary restrictions to be followed. Great atmosphere.

Pad Thai is really good

Last couple of orders have been disappointing. Pad Thai has been wayyy too sweet. Something changed here.

Been there multiple times. Luckily my son meets his retired dad for lunch, and this has quickly become a huge favorite.
The sweet and sour soup is clean and very flavorful. The rolls are just as delicious.
This is not a typical run of the mill Thai food, The sauces are not loaded with starch and are perfectly matched with the dishes and do not taste heavy and filing. The noodle dishes are very distinctive and so each one is a treat in itself.
The meat (proteins for you youngsters) are, just like the vegetables, very fresh and cooked just right.
Best of all the portions are large enough that there are plenty of leftovers for your next meal at home.
I did make the mistake of saying once that mild plus was a bit too mild. Well they responded. So just make sure to let them know your presence as each visit since has been the perfect level as she now know the exact spot..

Ordered takeout but the restaurant is immaculate and well taken care of.

I ordered the pad thai and got medium+. It’s the perfect level of eat, spice and savory. This will definitely be my go to pad Thai spot!

I went for lunch on a recommendation of a friend. Service was prompt and attentive, even though there were several others dining in for lunch at the time. My food took a little longer to make, but I was not disappointed. The food was flavorful, and not salty. The portions size was more than enough for me to eat. No soup or spring roll with lunch, but it wasn’t needed with the amount of food that I received. I will definitely return.

Bathroom needs a good cleaning, light switches... mirrors sinks urnial etc. Some of the stuff looks like it hasnt been washed in a awhile. Foods good, little worried about kitchen with the lack of attention to the bathroom. Not enough wait staff during peak lunch, onee waiter.

Visited for the first time in August 2023. The Pad Thai here is top-notch - perfectly spiced and generous in size. The ambiance is modern and clean, complemented by attentive and friendly staff who ensured prompt service. Price points are reasonable. However, the Fried Tofu could use some improvement; the pieces were too large and lacked that desired crispiness, turning somewhat mushy atop the bed of lettuce. Despite this, the overall experience was positive. Would recommend giving it a try.

Less than impressed with this place. Portion sizes were not at all comparable to other Thai restaurants, yet still the same prices as the rest.

Extras cost $1-2 and they'll give you like 2 slices of green pepper for that price. Paid $2 for broccoli and it was missing from the meal. Food was good, but definitely not worth the price when considering the portion sizes.

My family has been eating at this restaurant since they opened and the food has always been delicious with great portions. We ordered 3 carryout entrees today and the food didn't even cover the entire container. Very saddened by the portion sizes today, especially with what we paid!!!

I have been coming to this restaurant for about a year now. They have outstanding Thai food. I am pretty much a regular here now. They have plenty of inside seating if you would like to dine in, and also offer carry out. I have recommended Bangkok Station to all my friends and family. I also recommend them to all of you 100%!

Portion sizes are large, food tastes like the dishes I had in Thailand. Owner is friendly and helpful. I've visited 3 times and will for sure return.

The spice level is legit. I usually get extra spicy food when I order food from Asian restaurants and it will be a good amount of spice. But here I ordered spicy and it was ACTUALLY spicy; gave me a run for my money. The levels of spice matches Asian spice level. So be wary when ordering food. The taste was amazing!

Well, even though they got rid of $6 Pad Thai Monday's (thanks inflation), I still order from here every Friday.

Their Basil Fried Rice & Pad Se Ew are 2 of our favorites, packed full of flavor!

The only real negative about this place (and why they don't get 5 stars from me) is that they'll randomly be closed and won't put a note on the door, a message on their voicemail, or update their social media pages to inform their customers that they are closed when they're usually open.

We have gone there 3 times in the past 4 months to a closed facility. It makes us sad & irritated.

I love going here while I'm next door to KC. The owners are super nice and the food is abundant with fast service. The food is always good and they accommodate spice levels since I can't eat spicy food.

Got the Drunken Noodle with Rangoons and a Thai ice tea for take out. The service was quick and the food was good. The Thai ice tea was my favorite!

Bangkok Station in Sterling heights is the best Thai food that I've eaten in Michigan. The staff is very friendly, quick and responsive to the clients needs. I highly recommend anybody to try this restaurant.

Bad customer service.

Not once have I received bad food or poor service! I would recommend Bangkok Station to anyone in the area looking for phenomenal Thai food, especially if you like spice.

***Edited*** she only said she would replace my order. I stated i was working and wasnt able to make it back out. And since being a first time customer. Wasnt planning on coming back. So yes, a refund was necessary. She also tried to say she couldn't refund due to it being placed on a third party site. But i paid for my meal when i walked into the store. She had the capability to refund, but was persistent with trying to just replace my meal. Not professional and my picture is proof. Hope this helps anyone else with issues getting a refund, just don't order here.

Ordered the lettuce wrap for take out. When I got back to work, and unwrapped everything, there was a bug in my lettuce. I called up there to ask for a refund, as I did order thru a third party, but paid in store for my meal upon arrival. They told me they could not do that. They said I can come get a replacement but as a first time customer, I was not pleased and just wanted my money back. Picture of the bug on my lettuce. The lady on the phone stated she would personally wash the lettuce for a replacement I do not want.

Had the hot chicken pad thai and the strawberry green tea. First time trying pad Thai and second attempt at boba was an overall success for me. The pad thai was scrumptious. The strawberry green tea was a bit too sweet for me personally but that could be due to being sugar-free.

-Curry Puffs: 3/5, not bad, but I've had better. Still gonna get these again though lol
-Crab Rangoons: 2/5, the ratio of cream cheese was to Rangoon was like 2.5:1 so if you like your Rangoons filled with cream cheese, you'll love these! I wasn't the biggest fan
-Koong Hom Pa: 5/5, delicious! Wish they gave more sauce, but still DELICIOUS
-Tom Yum Soup: 4/5, I've had tom yum at soooo many Thai places, but Bangkok Station is the only place to get it perfectly balanced 😭❤ the soup was amazing and we allll loved it! The only issue was the shrimp didn't seem like it was cooked all the way, but we still drank that thang uppp

For the entrees we got:

- Pad Thai Curry, 5/5, Perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the noodles were just right ✅

- Curry Fried Rice, 4/5, curry powder taste was strong, but the spice level just wasn't there. It wasn't oily though! Cousin lovveedd it!!

- Gang Dang, 5/5 what is there to say about this, it was perfect!

-Pad Kee Mao, 3.5/5, it was tasty, but it's just not in my flavor profile

All in all, everyone loved what they ordered, and really liked whwtever they tasted. It was a wonderful experience with very attentive waitstaff and delicious food!! I'm looking forward to coming back again!!

I picked up a carry out for the first time on 6/28/22. Everything I tried was wonderful. Both of the dinner meals I ordered had the correct modifications added + appropriate spice level, and the flavor was on point. I look forward to trying more of the menu on future visits!

I was literally the only table in the restaurant and I see why now....... First of all not once did I say the food was good u asked if I needed anything and I said we were good..... I was actually trying to be nice & just leave (disgusted) keeping my opinions about the food to myself, it was our very 1st time at your establishment & we were sitting at the table talking about how we didn't like the food the entire time as we were barely eating.... there was no flavor (very bland) the chicken tasted old, the crab rangoons didn't even have crab in them just a bunch of cream cheese & on top of that YES I felt like the prices were too high for the quality of food which we didn't even finish, it was a waste of $ for a meal I was less than satisfied with. I never yelled only expressed that I was unhappy with the food and you thought it was funny! I have never saw a business owner treat an unsatisfied customer so poorly (do better) so you can reply to my comment but your reply just shows your customer service is just as bad as the food, so regardless we won't be back & u do not need to tell me about prices we eat out often & pay way more "not the point" the food just wasn't good if it was I wouldn't have been so upset.

Stopped by for carry out. The online ordering is a bear. We wanted bubble tea but that wasn't on the online menu. The place is large, roomy and looks clean. We ordered several things to try and it was ready pretty quickly. One of the entrees ordered spilled in the bag and made quite a mess of everything in there. The curry was good and spiced a little light. The brown sauce chicken was nice too; both were very salty. The soup was hot and we liked that. Curry puffs were ok and spring rolls were ok. I'd liked to try the dine in if we're ever back in the area. The carry out packaging could be a little more secure for leakage. Two dinners with 2 apps, tea and a soup was $55.00.

Had an outstanding, flavorful Papaya Salad and bowl of Tom Yum soup for lunch today at Bangkok Station at 16 1/2 Mile and Van Dyke in Sterling Heights. Some of the best Thai food I’ve had in this area and Sterling Heights has quite a few to choose from. And I love Thai food. Some Thai restaurants have given up making Papaya Salad because it is too labor intensive. Not here. The wife co-owner uses the ingredients and seasonings from her native country, making the taste so authentic, complex, and flavorful. Give it a try - I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

This is the best Thai food I've ever eaten. The beef was the most tender my family and i have ever had from a Thai place. The hot and sour soup was excellent. I ordered my pad thai extra hot, asked if next time I could have it spicier, and within a minute I got an even more hot sauce! Amazing service! The waiter and owner are very kind! We will definitely come back! Absolutely amazing! I LOVE coming here for their food and it lasts me a whole day and maybe then some! They’re so friendly and they make sure you get what you ordered :) Super delicious, large amount of gluten free options. PSA I forgot to take pictures from how absolutely delicious it was and I was very hungry. :)

A really great Thai restaurant around this area. My colleague introduced me to this place and I fell in love after my first visit. Not sure if they serve alcohol and also not sure if they offer delivery, but they do have dine in and takeout options. Highly recommend this place if you're around this area and looking for a nice Thai restaurant.

Chicken tastes recooked has that distant recooked tasted not cooked to order it was excellent food if they cooked raw chicken to order yeah the food is fast cuz they just recook the chicken in what ever sauce you order if you look back in the reviews someone else had a chicken issue tip to restaurant cook all meats from raw don’t recook meat it has a distinct taste when you recook meat and it’s gross

A truly amazing experience! The decor was impeccable, bright, and absolutely stunning. The atmosphere was intimate and comfortable, with great music and Thai cooking shows being played. The service was quick, efficient, and most importantly, friendly. Incredibly delicious food with such a mindful, modern, and high-end presentation. Not to mention very affordable! I highly recommend for a date night or family dinner.

I ordered take out tonight on their app. I arrived approximately 13 min after I ordered and my food was ready. I get home and open it and take a bite and the only thing that I could say is "yum". My dad agreed that his food was delicious as well.

I’ve been coming here regularly for about 3 weeks. The food here has consistently been excellent since coming during that time.

The restaurant is clean, food is authentic, and prices are a rain of sunshine. Hospitality has always been great since day one. Best of all for us vegetarians and vegans it’s a match made from heaven. 😇🥲🥳

I have been to most Thia restaurants in the area, I order my food with no egg whites, most places won’t comply or just sometimes. Bankok station does comply, no question asked!!!! Great food and nice people!!!!

Been to a lot of Thai restaurants, but Bangkok station is the best restaurant I ate in and the food are very authentic!!! The best Thai restaurant in Sterling Heights!!! Love the energy there also, the service is great too and the cooks are fantastic!!! Overall, 10/10 and great prices for the food!!!!

I love this place. i was a customer of the previous establishment here. they were ok, but the pad thai here is amazing. the guys at my shop make fun of me because i eat here all the time. give them a shot you wont be let down.

This was our first time trying this restaurant and we ordered a carryout. 4 different dishes. Mistake! Very poor quality. The "chicken" in my dish was rubber. I'm not even sure it really was chicken. We couldn't even eat it and tossed it all. Don't waste your money.

I would very much like to give them 5 stars, tho the dish I ordered was deeeelish, there was not enough meat.

Ordered takeout Crab Ragoon absolutely no Crab and made with sour cream not cream cheese . Salad with tofu, tofu dried out. I asked for mild spice received no spice .Had the Fried rice with shrimp and very few shrimp for the price. Will not go back. Everything was over salted.

Tried this place today. :( The old Thai restaurant that occupied this space was SO much better.

I ordered a Veggie Curry dish, and expected to have Veggies in it. Sorry to say it was all Curry liquid and very few veggies. The spice wasn't anything special either. And the spring rolls were mush inside and very oily.

The renovations that they did to this place now makes it look like a fast food joint that serves sandwiches. It is way to bright and very uncomfortable space now.

I probably won't be going back.

I tried this place for the first time today. Very nice and clean. The take out staff were very nice. I had the Kow Pad with garlic added to it. It was very good.

Very tasty dishes. Just about everything can be plant based. This is a comfortable place, and clean. Take out has always been within 15 minutes and hot. Service is good.

Beautiful restaurant, very glad I took the chance and got some take out from here. About a half hour ago I order some pad thai. I'm very picky about my pad thai and this place does it right! Tasty, you can taste flavor along with the heat if you prefer hot like me. This place is my new favorite spot. So happy I went in and ordered. Can wait for more! Thank you.

Bangkok Station opened in the early summer of 2019. Although on the emptier side, the restaurant regularly had takeout orders coming in. The place was well decorated and clean, easy to read menus, and nice prices. I had the tofu yellow curry and it was delicious. Honestly the best yellow curry I’ve ever had. I had bites of everything at the table and I wasn’t disappointed. Great menu for all diet preferences. Will definitely be heading back!
