I got my drink and a glass of water within minutes also. It's casually served in a plastic container which was convenient as I couldn't finish my meal, so I brought it home. My noodle dish was not fantastic but perhaps there are better things to order than the pad see ew. The food I got was a 3/5 but everything else was so great that I'll leave 4 stars.

I was duped by the 4.8 Google rating… This was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had—super sweet, watery, and the meat was so tough. Worst part? I got food poisoning and threw up all night. I even saw others mention the same thing. Next time, I’m definitely reading the bad reviews first!

Now I get why this place has such great reviews—the food is amazing! We had the chicken fried rice, shrimp tom kha soup (medium spice level), and green curry, and everything just worked so well together.

The spice level was perfect for us—we love a little heat, and this hit the spot. Plus, the portions are huge! We’ll be enjoying leftovers for another day or two.

I ordered Tom Yum soup and it was the worst one I ever tried. It looks far from the picture on the menu, very very salty with 3 shrimps inside. I couldn’t eat such salty soup.

I love this place🩷! This was my second time going and the lady upfront is so precious. She is always kind to me and even brought my food out to my car for me since I walk with a cane which was super thoughtful. The food is really good too and she's very helpful with helping you order and understand the flavors. So far I have had their Tom Yum Soup and the Thai Coconut Soup. Both were very tasty and together it was great given one is spicy and one is a little sweet. They have a few spice levels to choose from and the increments make it easy for a group to order without having to worry about how different everyone's spice levels are. I definitely will be returning, and my husband was equally impressed. He really liked the coconut soup. We gotta try some other stuff on the menu next time for sure 😊. Thanks Thai 101💖!

I cannot believe the high marks for this place! I ordered pad Thai…and it was pale noodle
soup with some dried out chicken. No lime, no green onion, no flavor. Maybe all the flavor was in the liquid at the bottom. The red curry was equally uninspiring and it was a wasted $60 unfortunately. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

I really love their coconut tom Kha soup. The green curry is flavourful but it is diluted and doesn't have a lot of coconut milk/cream! Same goes for the red curry, I am not sure why but seems to be how it is served. I had tried pad Thai and again is different from what I have eaten elsewhere. I am eager to try the other dishes, since I would go back and have the coconut soup.

Food is tasty plus the staff are very nice and accommodating. I would love to come back again.

Great gluten free options and an incredibly nice staff

First of all Yum Yum! We get carry out from here once a week and enjoy it every time!! Our favorites are the drunken noodles with beef and the Thai fried rice with imitation crab and/or shrimp. The woman that handles the front is always so so nice! Highly recommend!

Best garlic fried rice ever!!

I was so pleased to see they can make gluten free Thai food. I'm not celiac just an allergy and I didn't have any problems after eating the pad Thai and soups. I loved the pad Thai, it had a nice amount of sauce. The chicken soup was super garlicky, a bit too much for me unfortunately but the flavor was good.

The food is great, the owner is super friendly and definitely deserves a 5 star review not just for her delicious food, but also for her overall kindness. On more than occasion I would see her take food out to customers cars that were waiting for their orders. All this while maintaining a smile and a welcoming environment. To me this is an above and beyond task that definitely shouldn’t be overlooked when writing a review for someone’s business. One thing about this place that’s totally awesome is the spice levels. I am a regular spicy food person and their “call 911” spice level is the real deal if you want a real spice challenge. I recommend exploring the menu because it’s all good!

I am pretty disappointed with my experience. I ordered pick up about 45 minutes ago and I received a side of spring rolls instead of the appetizer I ordered, I never received my beverage and on top of it my hot and sour soup and my side or spring rolls I did receive both taste like rotten vegetables.

On the plus side my cashew tofu is actually decent and they have gluten free and vegan options.
Very unlikely I will return due to the missing items, the taste of the food I received for the price I paid.

This was by far the worst experience we had with Thai food , the food was both salty and sugary, they are definitely not a dine-in but the least you would expect is good quality food , we were provided hot food in plastic container , and they think they are providing free food to their customers by doing a charity, but in reality they are ripping you off , I would choose to not eat there ever , dirty restrooms and the kitchens were poorly kept , if you decide to eat here , you have to walk through their kitchen , so never ever decide to dine in , I am surprised and drawn in to this place seeing the reviews, am sorry if you feel otherwise !

This is my second time coming here and I’ve found my favorite spot for chicken pad Thai. The best I’ve had since moving to Michigan. This time we got drunken noodles with chicken and Thai fried rice with chicken and beef. It was on point. And I loved the Thai iced tea. The customer service is amazing very friendly and inviting.

This is a great addition to the community! Seating is limited, but sooo worth it! The food is excellent. I haven't tried everything, but it is freshly made and palatable. Staff is wonderful. Crab Rangoon (Crab Cheese) is one of my favorite appetizers of all time. I've tried it at a few different places, didn't really like it, tried it here and it was Amazing. They were just the amount of crispiness on the outside, and softness in the inside when you take a bite. Anyone that loves and knows about a good peach cobbler or apple pie nose that would make it great is a crust, so you know that Crispy outer but soft inner combo is where Heaven is. The size of the rangoons are great, definitely portioned in an abundance of love. It was the right amount of cream cheese on the inside with the crab, and the sweet sauce that goes with it is absolutely amazing. Definitely can't wait to try it again.

Ordered chicken Pad Thai and chicken egg rolls to go online. The restaurant is VERY small, so eating in isn't really possible. The egg rolls are delicious. However, I didn't realize how important fish sauce (which their website is clear they DON'T use) is to the flavor of Pad Thai as I've never made it. The dish I got tasted ok; much sweeter than I expected, and the sauce is very thin. If I hadn't ordered the extra peanuts, it wouldn't have been good. The biggest problem I have, though, is the extremely long, black HAIR I found in the Pad Thai! I tried this place based on the high reviews, not I won't be returning, and will have to seek out a different place to get Pad Thai

AMAZING PAD THAI!!! We were in the area & craving Thai food so we just randomly chose this one & we were very happy with our choice! It’s a small shop but it’s decorated nicely & there are a few tables for dine in. They bring out the food in a takeout box (a nice sturdy plastic one) and then give you a plate…. Very smart & innovative because it keeps the food warm. Plus the servings are big enough for 2 (maybe 3) meals!! Definitely recommend!! We will be back!

GOAT Thai restaurant

Food was just okay, all the entrees sauces were super runny. The sauce for the crab ragoons and spring rolls was like molasses. No depth of flavor. Not sure I understand the hype, our whole group that evening was unimpressed.

Not to mention we put our order in an hour ahead of time and it wasn't ready at the pickup time. They were nice enough to walk it out to the car for us though, not much extra space to wait inside.

We ordered the spring rolls, drunken noodles, and garlic fried rice, which can be made to suit different dietary requirements, including vegan + seagan. We enjoyed it so much the first time that we went back two days later.

There's one long bar table with stools for dine-in, which is fun if you want to chill and look out to Woodward. I also appreciate that the place is very clean and has disinfectant wipes within reach.

My Pad Thai was fairly colorless and soupy. It was also very acidic, similar to a hot and sour soup. Don't doubt the good reviews, but I just didn't get that experience when I went.

For a mostly takeout-style location, this place is really full service. They go above and beyond in a way that even most luxury hotels don't approach in the area. This is one of the go-to lunch spots for me and a lot of my coworkers. We usually all order separately so there are a lot of orders but they are always so nice and have the orders laid out together and is always so helpful with making sure that I have an easy way to carry the orders which I appreciate a lot. So, service is great and food is always great too. I usually get the basil fried rice or the drunken noodles and haven’t been disappointed one time. There’s a closer Thai restaurant within walking distance of the office I work at in Birmingham but we choose Thai 101 because of quality and definitely because of service.

The woman who worked at the front was an absolute delight. She was very welcoming and friendly despite our many questions. Our food came out quickly and was incredible! This was a bit of a drive for us but well worth it. We will certainly be back here.

I’ve been here multiple times now every time it’s just as good as the first time delicious would highly recommend to anyone. This is our go to for Thai food.

I was duped my google reviews. I drove 20 minutes seeing the reviews. I ordered pad thai , and it was horrible. No human can eat it . So was extra tangy extra extra sweet. Like I had to throw away a whole Meal worth of $16. It was just not eatable.

The best Crab Cheese of any thai restaurant I've been to. Their Pad Thai was a little runny, but they were very accommodating in replacing the small rice noodles with large rice noodles the way I like. The service was extremely attentive, and I never had an empty glass while I was there. The staff was professional and cordial.

This is a very good takeout restaurant! Large portions and friendly staff. I appreciate the multiple levels of spice once can choose, as well as the availability of vegetarian options.

My wife and I had a wonderful, cozy dinner on Wednesday night and we can be added to the list of all these positive reviews. It was our first time there, but we were welcomed by Kaye as if we were old friends. She answered all of our questions and we ordered the Pad Thai Curry and Kra Tiem and both came out steaming hot and very delicious. The rice was also outstanding, perfectly cooked and fragrant. Kaye was very attentive and we left happy and can't wait to return.

Highly recommend this Thai restaurant. We always enjoy ordering from here. The owner is so kind and the food is fantastic. You must order their hot and sour soup; it’s the best one around!

Impressed! The pad cashew was AMAZING! Great portion with lots of chicken and sauce. The drunken noodles were good as well. The noodles are definitely on the saucy-er side but mine were not soggy at all. Over all great experience and I will definitely explore the menu more!

This place is amazing! My husband and I come from Harrison Township any time we want Thai food. The owner is one of my favorite strangers, she remembered my husband and I from the first time we came in and ordered and has went out of her way at every opportunity to be extremely personable and makes you feel like a friend. Let’s talk about the food, it is mouth watering, cooked to perfection and is some of the most authentic Thai food I have tasted in years. We always say how grateful we are to have stopped in there just in a whim. Please check her out, she deserves it and you’ll be glad you did!

I just have to say… WOW, what a delightful experience. The Pineapple Fried Rice, Red Curry, and Peanut Noodles absolutely made my experience a 10/10. Writing this as I’m eating in the restaurant. Ordered crab cheese and drunken noodle with beef. Food is delicious. The crab cheese is so good, extra creamy cream cheese with a thick tangy sauce and perfectly fried. The drunken noodle is super saucy and very good. I was supposed to stop eating and save some for later but I keep taking more bites as I write this lol. The lady working the register is so kind and attentive. I spoke with her and she says a lot of people still don’t know they are here so please support them give them a try! The food really was delicious and I know we all are always looking for our regular thai spot!
