Handcrafted Thai Food
The food hits your brain just right. I get the Hot level. Of course lots of dishes made the level you want. Recipe is fantastic. I love the battered almond chicken and spring rolls. The service is great and even after a month goes by, they remember you. Something different and big portion for the price.
This one is great like the one in marysville. They don't offer dine-ins which is okay for me. I prefer to carryout. I would recommend the pad thai or fried rice. The size was pretty good for the price. Will come if I'm in the area.
Food is always excellent. Always willing to allow us to customize our dishes.
For an honest score it's 4.5 but I'm not offered tenths. The food is good, tastes authentic. I wish the menu were a little expanded but i get it, most people dont explore but im dying for a grilled pork dish, mango sticky rice or a fresh roll! If you like peanut butter, their satay is yum!
They're sometimes a little tipsy with the dried Thai chili peppers so consider ordering one step down and getting dry chilies on the side (I like hot spicy but my friend doesn't).
We ordered take out and the flavor of everything was great! We had pad prik, spicy almond chicken, spicy mee Thai, pepper steak, and crab rangoon. My only complaint is I wish there was a but more meat and noodles to the wild amount of veggies that were in our dishes but it was still good. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes!
We have ordered several times from this establishment and have always been impressed.
My typical dish is the Pad Woo Sen and my husband's is the Drunken Noodles. I order mine no spice and his mild (with the full understanding that tai "spicy" is waayy spicier than regular spicy). Food is always fresh, hot, and consistent in flavor and quality.
Normally the food is good and prepared well, but for some reason my last visit the vegetables were cut too big and didn't fully cook. Also the food wasn't as spicy as it usually is. I don't know if they have new help in the kitchen learning or what. I'm hoping that it's not a new direction that the place is taking. I'm not going to completely write the place off, but if I have another experience like I did with my last order I most likely will.

Very watery... not much taste.

This is the second chance for Spicy Thai for us and again ordered it very very mild and it was so hot it was not edible was only offered a replacement dish not a refund for my money they can't make it worse right the first time they can't make it right this second time I'm done with this place do not go there to eat
Food was amazing. Staff very friendly.
Everything was perfect... great flavor and "mild" had the just the right amount of warmth. Well done, guys!
Just didn't care for the flavor.
Ordered PadThai and Pad Thai curry, chicken was extremely dry, all the noodles were pretty dry too. Not many bean sprouts or anything other than dry noodles! Very disappointing!

Had issues the last 2 times i ordered from there. It seems like they only season with red pepper flakes. I have had better Thai that was hot(spice wise) from better places.
Take out only..Pad Thai was awesome. Be careful though the mild was still a bit spicy. The crab ragoons were great and the shrimp ragoons were awesome! Will be a favorite fir me!
This was a pretty decent place to go to while I was out in the area and wanted to grab something to eat so I checked this place out it's good.

The worst Thai food I have ever had! Everything tasted horrible. There are much better restaurants.
Okay, this is all about kindness and service. At 5 pm I ordered online from what I THOUGHT was a RichLAND Thai restaurant near me. But we couldn't pick it up because RichMOND is 2.5 hours away! I couldn't get through on the phone to correct my mistake, as they were crazy busy. They called ME at 8 to let me know they were closing in 10 minutes. Chagrined, I confessed my error. They were SO kind, even though it was entirely my fault. I hope to meet the staff one day and eat at their restaurant.
Their food is fantastic. Definitely recommend.
Been here many times and they never disappoint! Everything hot, fresh and exactly how I ordered it! Better hours than competitors is very convenient! Definitely hands 🙌 down my favorite Thai place in a 50 mile radius!
only take out
Really busy
Meat was old tasted disgusting. Coworker referred me to try you guys out. Her treat. Will not be returning. Currently sitting at work very nauseous better
Good food, helpful staff
Worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. A 15 minute order of noodles and shrimp took 1h10m and the counter boy had the nerve to give me attitude. Never will I go back.
No dine in and very unclean facility super spreader stay clean stay safe if you try and speak out about the unclean conditions you will be banned from the store they do not take criticism maybe they should just take the time to clean the facility instead of band customers who speak out they were unable to keep up with their dining area and since customers were complaining they shut it down so that way people don't see unclean conditions
Beyond happy this little gem has taken over the spot.
Was supposed to be my long awaited for “cheat” meal, and it was SO disappointing. I asked for extra egg, don’t think I even got the regular amount of egg lol…it was dry, all the sauce was at the bottom, didn’t look to be tossed in it at all. I’ve had better experiences with this place and unfortunately probably won’t return.
They arent lying. Its spicy. Its also delicious. The portion sizes are generous and very filling. It is definitely worth every penny although I wouldnt say they are expensive. They do have a few tables you can eat at but there is no table service.
The Pad Thai could have used more veggies. The flavor was good but the take portion was a bit on the light side. We will return to try more dishes.
Great Thai food and close to home! The tea is *chef's kiss*
Awesome food and awesome service
Ordering online was extremely easy to navigate. Food was ready when promised. We were able to eat our carry out in their dining room which is a very nice area. (Dining room is open but not with full service). We ordered crab Rangoon, tom yum soup, gang gai curry, and a side order of fried rice. Everything was very delicious. I chose medium spice and the food was spiced accordingly. We found our new Thai place!
Food is great 👍
I've been to many thai restaurants in many states this place is the absolute worst thai I ever had
I wish I knew the place was here, I finally found a good Thai restaurant around st.clair mi area. The food is delicious. The workers are crazy mad funny, and so nice. The cook was hilarious. The shrimp rolls and pad Thai are yummy, i asked how hot the medium spice was they said hot and they were right, so listen to what they say when it comes to spice heat.. there is only one thing the crab Rangoon is good but it's very hard not quite crispy, like the wrap was very thick, need a thinner one, but this does not at all reflect on how great this place is though, fabulous restaurant. Also dine in. They are also opening one in marysville, I am so looking forward to it. Thank you for such a great place.
Got charged extra tip after food had been signed for and picked up. We had already paid online using their menufy service. Heads up to keep on eye on extra charges if you purchase that way.
I haven't had good Chinese or Thai in YEARS! I have celiac disease and this is the first place that I've found that has Gluten Free options. The food was delicious and I can't wait to order again! Thank you Spicy Thai Kitchen!!!
I have been waiting so long for there to be a Asian restaurant In the area, and finally there is one! I have had Thai from many places and this is by far the best Pad Thai I've had. It's made right and not red!
Food and service was excellent
Food was great, especially the number 11 soup.
Love the food here, when you order your food hot, they deliver on the spice level. I haven't had a bad dish yet.
Excellent service and tasty food. Had the Tom Kha Gai (coconut milk soup) and a basil stir fried rice, which were both outstanding in flavor, presentation, temperature, portion and price. An unexpected treat for small-town Michigan.
Food was very flavorful and well prepared. You can tell they use relatively fresh ingredients. I will say, the "hot" is not at all what I expected. I love spicy food, but the "hot" option is more like every other restaurants "extra hot" made flaming hot cheetos look like baby snacks. I'd suggest revisiting how you label your food for your online menus, since it wasn't necessarily a pleasant surprise.
First time take out customer.
I was afraid to try because there IS no good Thai food anywhere in the area. Enter Spicy Thai Kitchen. We no longer have to travel all the way to Hall Rd. (we actually like this better).
Ingredients were fresh, good amount of protein (chicken pad Thai), noodles perfectly cooked, very short wait. If there is a negative it is their location. If you don't find them online and use google maps to find it, you would not know they exist (not easily visible from the road). WILL BE BACK ! ! !
The Pad Thai was excellent! The soup Tom Yum was delicious and right to order as well. Definitely recommend!
yummy. yummy. yummy. wow, truly a taste buds delight. i got the pad thai, shrimp rangoon and crab rangoon. they give plenty of sweet and sour sauce too. love this place. good customer service too.
First time trying them as they are rather new but we really liked them. Super nice staff, clean space, website works great. And most importantly we thought the food was great. Personally, I cannot handle a lot of spice so the mild was a little hot for me, incase you are wondering what spice level to get, but it was still super tasty.
As far as thia goes its average i got no complaints but i have had better for less $$$
I just tried for the first time and it was amazing. All I had was chicken fried rice. No one answered the first time I called, it was worth calling back to place my order. It’s hard to find good Asian food out here but this was a great find!
Been eating on my order for 3 days! It gets better everyday! ☺️
Nice selection, good food, and friendly staff.
The food was prepared very quickly. Excellent tom yum soup - one of the very best in Michigan. Pad woon sen was salty for me but they packed extra rice for me so it worked out perfect! Would love yum woon sen added to the menu.
This is literally our favorite restaurant in town. We have not had a dish we didn't like!! Absolutely amazing food and the Thai tea is excellent too! Highly recommend!
We were just passing and saw the restaurant. Really friendly people. Food was awesome, I asked for HOT 🔥 and it was perfect. Prices were very reasonable.
Thank you for being there.
Friendly, Flavorful & Truly Spicy!!! All Appetizers are bomb.com & entrees are all amazing 👏 😋
BEST THAI FOOD! The flavors are amazing and they actually make the food spicy! They were really busy, but they managed to get my food out fairly quickly. Sadly, they are not currently carrying water chestnut, but my pepper steak was great nonetheless. The gentleman up front was very attentive and helpful. This is my new go to for quick and tasty food. Couldn't be happier with my visit.
Sadly they didn’t want to do add on or substitute to Customers preference
The staff was friendly and helpful with questions I had about the menu. I don't cook so they are a God-Send ❤🙏 my go-to for tasty, fresh, hot meals!!! Thank you Spicy Thai for all you do and being here in Richmond. 🙂
Great place. Good taste, spice was right on expectations. Very friendly staff
Super fast and friendly staff, love having this restaurant in my town!
So good love it. You can have what level of spice you want. So it is good for everyone
Very good food some of the best tai food in Michigan. Spice is just right for everyone.
Honestly one of the best places to eat in the area. Especially as a vegetarian. So refreshing to not have another bar/coney style food.
Stumbled upon this great find. Pleasantly greeted right away. The gentleman explained the clear menu, and advised on their “spicy” level of the dishes. I could hear the chefs laughing and enjoying their work as a team. Food was ready in less than the 10 minutes estimated.
DELICIOUS. Very Fresh. Had so many variances in the veggies! Yes, he was spot on for MED spicy. I ordered a combo dish and a side of two wonderful shrimp egg rolls/spring rolls, that came with the best sauce I’ve ever had for egg rolls. I AM NOW going to hit this spot often!
Update: 2nd time back, and still very pleasant, friendly, fresh and delicious. I’m so happy to have this change of flavor in our area.
We love this place. Food is great, is cooked quickly and with consistent results. Staff are friendly and good on the phone with orders. We get take out weekly.
We ordered the pad see ew, pad prik, and spring rolls around 6pm. All of the food was good, the young man behind the counter was outrageously polite, and their online ordering system was really easy to use. It gave me an estimate time for carry out and my order was hot and sitting on the counter when I walked in. Really nice experience overall.
I've tried this location twice. I ordered different types of fried rice. It wasn't great both times. Also, quart sized prices for a smaller portion size - they said they offer one size - 24 ounces instead of pints and quarts. Whatever it was, the value wasn't there for the price.
Great food and great people
Excellent Thai food! Very Clean and friendly
1st time for Thai food and was clueless on what to get. I asked the young man behind the counter what's popular and he took the time to explain what was what!! The dinner was delicious and I liked the medium hot!
Just had the Kow Pad Pineapple Fried Rice (Mild w/Pork) and absolutely loved it. It had great taste to it and I was given a generous portion.
Awesome food with large portions and a lot of flavor. Every time I am in the Richmond area I come here.
Delicious food and everyone is always so SO friendly & kind. So glad there’s a good Thai place near me! Highly recommend.
Food and service is always great.
Best food in town , extremely friendly service. The food is just amazing!
Bravo, awesome service, incredible food
Great good, fast service, friendly staff, and love having Thai food close to home.
Great food friendly staff..
The best. Everything is wonderful and fresh even the shrimp.
Ordered the Kow Pad Pineapple with Chicken, Mild and it was fantastic. Heat was just right, the sweetness from the pineapple really balances out the heat in a pleasant way. They were super quick and friendly too. I only waited a few minutes during the lunch hour. Will be back for sure.
Absolutely amazing food. I have ordered from there probably 10 times in total since they opened, and every single time I am BEYOND satisfied. Friendly, patient, caring people. Word of advice for those who may not be familiar with Thai food, the spice levels are no joke. The mild is more of a medium/hot, medium is hot and the hot is nasal draining bliss lmao. Seriously though, the food is absolutely incredible.
I tried this place for the 1st time today. The food was really good and there service was perfect! Would recommend.
OMG!!! The food is FANTASTIC! The staff was so cool and friendly. We're going back many more times.
The food is way spicier than most places. Still good though, but they should clarify that they are more spicy. Wanted to give them a second chance. Called to place an order and was asked to hold. Waited 10 minutes before hanging up to call again to get a busy signal since they left their phone off the hook. What a waste of time…
So happy this Thai restaurant came to town. Everything I have had is fantastic! The Pad Thai with Shrimp, Pad Pak with chicken, chicken egg rolls and Tom Yum Soup with chicken are my personal favorites. The mild spice is like medium in most Thai restaurants, so be careful :). I’ll will be a steady customer for sure! I wish them the best of luck!
Best Thai food in the world!!!!!!!
Great flavor, perfect spice
Finally, a Thai place that makes it hot when you ask for it hot. Nice to have a Thai place in Richmond.
This place is hot!
Clean indoors, people cooking were also wearing masks, ordered food online, simple, easy to navigate their website menu, food was Great
This was a pleasant surprise!!!
Formally where Tubby’s was now an awesome little Thai hole in the wall!
Food is excellent, I have a favorite place to eat!!!
Very excited to have a Thai restaurant in Richmond.. very friendly welcoming owners..ordered extra veggies .. found two mushrooms & one green onion .. paid Thirty dollars for spring rolls & two containers packed with noodles little else.. very disappointed!
Hands down the best Thai I’ve had in a long time. Spice levels are spot on and the food was great. I picked up after ordering online and my food was piping hot and right on time. Portions are generous and have lots of meat, and the prices are very reasonable! Additionally, the inside was completely clean and the service was really good! I’m so excited to have this new, authentic Thai cuisine locally! I’ll definitely go back and recommend as well!
Great menu choices and really good food and at affordable prices. Will be back. “ “What a good restaurant, good food and service definitely hope to go back. if you like Thai food and you live in Richmond I recommend that you go to SPICY THAI KITCHEN!
Clean and friendly. The portions aren't as big as a lot of places, but they're still decent for the price. I did pay extra for shrimp, but I didn't realize until I got home that I actually received chicken... so double check your bag, cause they're pretty busy and mistakes can happen. Glad to have thai so close to home.
First time ordering today. #1 I had the cabbage spring rolls #16 Basil fried rice with pork, and the #28 green curry with chicken everything was perfect. Custom spice level wad spot on. I am thrilled i found spicy thai so close to home. Thank you very much for a well prepared delicious and flavorful dinner. Which i have plenty left over for lunch tomorrow. I definitely will be ordering a couple times a month! Highly recommend thre food.
Food was great!
Great service! Food was amazing! So happy to have a Thai restaurant closer. I will definitely be returning often.
Good quality food, great taste, and good portions. Really happy to have them in town
My husband just brought home Pad Thai with beef from here, and wow it was amazing! We ordered mild, (which is hotter than your standard American mild) so keep that in mind. It was the perfect kick for us.
Food tastes amazing! If you aren't sure the spice level you can handle start below what you may have tried elsewhere. They just opened so it was a long wait for food but they were very friendly and the quality of the food was on point! Can't wait to return and try other dishes here 😁
The food is excellent and the staff is very nice!
Great food! It’s a busy place and takes time to get your food, but you can’t rush perfection! The spicy option really means it! I love spicy stuff and boy does this hit the spot! 10/10 would recommend!!
