Modern Thai-Inspired fast casual restaurant.
I’ve had two terrible experiences at No Thai, and after tonight, I won’t be returning. The restaurant is supposed to close at 10 PM, but I placed my order at 9:16 and received my food by 9:25. Just as I started eating, the staff kicked us out, saying they close their dine-in area at 9:30. This was not mentioned anywhere, and it’s completely unacceptable to rush paying customers like this.
To make matters worse, about a month ago, I visited the same location and found a staff member in a kitchen uniform sleeping on a bench inside the restaurant. This is a small establishment, and such unprofessional behavior from the staff and poor management are shocking.
I’m extremely disappointed, and tonight was the last time I’ll ever dine here. If you value good service and a professional atmosphere, I’d recommend avoiding this place.
Fast and efficient service. I was in and out of there within 10 minutes. The food was made fresh and was hot and very tasty. I ordered the notai fried rice with medium spice chicken. Had very good flavor and a good spice to it
I also had Thai tea which was nice and sweet. I would recommend this place for anyone that wants to get some quick Thai food that is reliable and tasty. This is my third time coming here and I really enjoy this place.
I've tried their Drunken Noodles, which is pretty tasty even for an Asian food palette. The sweet tea tastes very interesting, with spicy noodles, the cold sweet tea balances your taste buds well. Overall it was a good experience for ~$20. Haven't tried other dishes, probably next time I'll get something else.
The Pad Thai here is absolutely delicious. I love that there’s enough sauce so the noodles don’t dry out, and the sauce itself is so flavorful! It’s a little bit sweet, a but citrusy, and it balances well with the crushed peanuts. The green onions are cooked to tenderness, while still having a good bite. I keep coming back anytime I’m in town. So good!
I love No Thai Kerrytown! I order just about every Tuesday! Crystal is always a friendly face to see. Thanks Crystal and Kerrytown team for providing an experience I look forward to each week! <3
Want to thank them. We are big fans and it’s usually spot on- specifically this location! On the rare occasion it is inconsistent they have made it right. Appreciate it and love the food!! No Thai for life!
I usually love the Drunken Noodles at the other No Thai locations, but I was very disappointed with it here. It tasted like something was missing from the sauce.
Always my favorite for dinner and enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow

Food is forever and ALWAYS sooo good! I love no Thai!
My favorite No Thai location!! They have the best flavor and serving size

No thai is always fast and tasty!
Some of the best Thai I've ever had!
Great place for a quick bite... very tasty and good quality.
Edit 2:
Went back again.
They fixed the sauce, but the rice is so dry. Uncle Roger be so disappointed.
Edit:
We went back:
The curry fried rice is so bad that I have to dump this review. It is blend and under seasoned, the spiciness is not nice either.
The drink from the fountain machine is not fizzy.
Original 5/5 review at May 2024:
GF likes their no Thai fried rice.
GF happy me happy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Great food and quick service
Awesome fast food style Thai food. Not super, but definitely will make you feel happy if in the mood for Thai. Nogi rolls (like a cheese steak egg roll) are not authentic at all, but they are very good. Would recommend Pad Basil, Drunken Noodles, or Curry Fried Rice. Also Sweet and Spicy Chicken is way better than normal General Tso Chicken from a typical a Chinese restaurant.
I came here with my friend every week (sometimes multiple times). Great memories and great food.
I visited 4 different No Thai in the past 7 years many many times. This place had the best drunken fried rice I have ever had. Perfect amount of sauce, ingredients, and rice. I enjoyed every single bite.
If you're looking for a place with tasty cheap food and big portions, no Thai is the right place. Consistent and delicious.
The food was so good, reasonable price large portions. Excellent and quick food preparation, it was made so promptly and delicious. This was a pretty popular location in a college town. It filled up quickly, and they were fast filling the orders.
Staff are very nice
Food was good that’s bout it
It's a Thai fast food type of place. Staff said the tofu was pre-fried and transported from a central location to all no Thai's in the area. They tasted dry and rubbery. The drunken noodles and pad Thai looks like they've been stir fried in premade sauce and are 90% noodles with a few strands of basic veggies and pineapples that are likely canned or frozen. The silverware was of poor quality and was not all clean. It's a good price for a quick flavorful meal though, just not the best ingredients.
Delicious food, quick and friendly service.
Quality but inexpensive food with very little wait time. I've never been disappointed here, definitely one of my go to lunch break spots near kerrytown.
Tasty Thai food in the heart of downtown. Always fun
Good food. Spring rolls can improve.
I will never eat here again.
First of all, I went with my child who is vegan. Vegan options mean you put green curry on everything. Fried Rice will NOT come w/o egg so you are limited to noodles with green curry and whatever vegetables you get upcharged for.
Even without 'spicy' it was spicy. It had no flavor or aromatic. I make a better curry at home. The tofu was cold and wet and completely unappetizing. There were a total of FOUR pieces of broccoli on the entire dish after asking for added broccoli. My pad thai was no great. The sauce was too thin and sweet. Hardly any egg. Again, I added broccoli and I think I received 5 pieces of undercooked broccoli.
Lastly I said NO MEAT on my pad thai. Thankfully, I am not vegan so I didn't freak out when I found two pieces of chicken on my dish. However, I do not order meat when I dine with my child. I didn't say anything while we were there because I want my child to TRUST me when I say THIS FOOD is SAFE. Can you imagine if that chicken had shown up on his plate rather than mine?
$33 for TWO people and one a child. Ugh.
Go elsewhere.
Always fast with the takeout!
How is somebody supposed to park and eat there? There's no parking.
It's not really authentic Thai food, but more Americanized. It's still really good. Prices for quantity in 2023 are good.
Closed other location was busy as Hell
Took a chance and loved it! Outside seating was very nice also.
Pad Thai and drunken noodles tasty flavorful and generous portion size.

I am an infamous No Thai customer. The believed record holder ordering 7x dim mak drunk noodles. One would say I should be entitled to 1 50% off a week. I went today and it was $13.92 for no reason. They didn’t spare but 6 broccoli florets and the tofu cube has decreased in size to the point it’s just empty fry. Large portions but quality cuts. This used to be the go-to, now it’s the no to.
The Pad Thai here is absolutely delicious. I love that there’s enough sauce so the noodles don’t dry out, and the sauce itself is so flavorful! They have great Pad Thai! Don’t hesitate to check this out if you haven’t! Just do it!
Highly recommend the green curry.
Great Pad Thai , delicious, prepared just as ordered. Would have given 5 stars if seating area was a bit nicer. Very good food but basic table , seat yourself experience. Would come back again!
No Thai is always great! This location tends to not be busy at all except for weekends sometimes.
Good thai food at a fair price. The portions are generous, and the staff are really nice and friendly.
Theme is honestly pretty confusing. Food was underwhelming.
Always a great spot to hit up. Especially when there are so many people that like different spices. Great staff working to
I had a take out order. Food was good. May go again.
the best tofu ever!
Fast food Thai - great flavors, medium was almost too spicy, glad I did not try the two levels higher. Fast, effecient, friendly. Just kind of soulless.
Terrible customer service. Manger did not want to keep his word and was very rude. Will not order from here anymore
Ordered pad basil,no basil at all, no much flavor in the dish, may be that called no Thai, means no Thai food flavor 😑?
It was okay. The menu is a bit confusing.
Love the drunken 🍜
They the truth (that means they're really good food)
Very good
I love no Thai kerrytown. Plan on deleting this later but need to get the message out that they have been slacking on the sauce!
Very quick service and good Thai food
Food and service are great. I have tried pad thai and no thai fried rice n they were good. Potion sizes are generally big but they add a bit too much of an oil.
Not sure if I would still bump the review up to 4 stars yet. The service was better. Would like to see if the improvement are more long term
Had some issues with my payment system. Even with a busy lobby the Staff was amazing at helping me get through the process of fixing my gift card.
Difficult times not resulting in frustrated staff or customers? Yes please keep up the great work NT
Food was superbly dried out. The tofu was empty inside. It was just a shell not meaty aaaatttt all. Just skin. The chicken was coated in a red sauce but was hard and cut into bit size pieces. Not bite size but scrap like bit sizes. My takeout looked nothing like what was on the counter for a dine-inn customer. Perhaps dine-inn gets a different quality?!?! I don't know
They always get the order right and have it ready on time.
美味しい
Delicious Thai food here at very reasonable prices. I like their quick service and friendly staff. I've eaten here several times when I've visited Ann Arbor and never been disappointed. Their Pad Thai is my favorite.
I don’t who the guy was at the front counter at like 4:10 but I was to shy to say it but you are beautiful and have a beautiful aura I hope you continue to have a good day ❤️ - Heaven
Love me some No Thai! I love that you can customize the spice level so you can enjoy at just the right heat for you
Reply to owner’s comment below: Sorry if I missed the clear tip button, but I couldn’t see it easily (I looked at the screen at least 20 seconds). Next time I will check the screen more carefully. I upgrade my rating to a 3-star. But, still the food (for all 4 of us) were quite salty, and we had to drink lots of water. I wish they were less salty. Thanks
You can’t charge a 10% tip when you take an order.
I don’t tip when I place an order at McDonald. Why do they charge a 10% tip on orders by default? I’d rather give my tip at mcdonald or Burger King, but not here.
The screen forces you to tip. It’s a self serving restaurant. No one serves my menu or take my plates. They call you when food is ready like McDonald. It’s exactly the same as fast food restaurants, but you have to tip a 10%. I won’t go here anymore.
Pretty good Thai food. Hot was not particularly hot.
Delicious food cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff including the cooks.
First time here. The food was fresh and hot and had a very good flavor.
This place has gone way down hill
Great food , affordable price , generous portions . My favorite item that we ordered by far was the crab wontons
Better than the one in Brighton by far. Decent take on Thai food. Fresh veggies. fast and reasonably priced.
The food is great but the people there are miserable. I don't think I've ever met a more unhappy crew that still makes great food.
The drunken noodles are deeeelicious
Came in to order take out, and the cashier was acting as if I was a bother with my order. He got my order incorrect before paying and when I pointed it out, he replied with an eye roll.
I loved going to this place, but the customer service has gotten poorer.
Edit: I noticed I did not get my order of Nogi rolls, and the prep guy was adamant that he packed it. Thankfully the manager calmed him down, but where is the customer service. I didn’t get what I paid for and am accused of lying?
They made a fantastic pad Thai. Looking forward to visiting again.
Great food
Great price
Great people
Clean, great service, well priced food is well cooked and good presentation and taste!! Will definitely recommend 👌 👍 they have awesome takeout containers for to-go food.
Me and the girlfriend love No Thai, but the portions are just too small for the price. If you go to any Chinese restaurants and get any chicken dinner special it's filled to the top for $8-$10. But not at No Thai! when you get it it will look like your meals already half eaten! Or you could you could get the chicken and broccoli and only get broccoli somehow 🤔 🤷....she got chicken and broccoli and I got the sweet and spicy chicken.
Super quick and great food every time.
Good Thai food for a reasonable price. I'm a repeat customer.
The food is really good, the service is very fast and very convenient I always get my food from there
I have a serious No Thai addiction right now. Love everything on their menu, especially the Nogi Rolls!!
The staff here is super kind and understanding. I love No Thai!
This location is "By Far" the best location. I've visited several locations and always prefer the Kerrytown location as the absolute "BEST"
My hats off to the entire crew.
Keep up the great work you're doing!
I ordered the Pad Thai (medium hot) from No Thai and the service was fast and the food was hot. It was nicely spiced not too hot.
THAI Basil-Very oily bland sauce, no real thai basil, only dried basil.
Pad Thai had great flavor and the tofu was really good. Highly recommend!!
Cashier has bad attitude and horrible customer service.
Really good nothing out of the ordinary
No Thai— a college student classic! This is one of those comfort-places that just satisfies your Thai cravings for a relatively affordable
Pros: good selection, good prices, lots of locations
Cons: it’s not the best quality in the world but it never claims to be either, sometimes you get unlucky and get a dish where they totally mess up the spice level
My recs: pad seeyu, sweet and spicy chicken, curry pad Thai, drunken noodles
Pro tip: get their point card!
Hot, fresh and yummy!
Pad thai is great here, although it had a ton of chili flakes in it the last time I ordered.
You can’t beat it. Try. Try to beat it. If you find better food please email me. I think they have the best food, in the whole world, at all.
Best no Thai around! Super friendly staff, they always answer the phone unlike other no Thai locations. Super fast, and always great food!
The food is really good and I appreciate the ability to personalize the spice level. I don't enjoy much spice, and hate it when my meal is ruined because I cannot have the level I can deal with.
Excellent service. Delicious food. Highly recommend
No Thai has my heart!!!! Always a great experience, delivery is always so fast and the quality is amazing.
The food tasted great and was packaged very neatly! It also arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled delivery time!
Great food, very spicy
Great food
It's edible...
Food was decent but the green curry I got reminded me more of a Chinese sweet and and sour than actually Thai since it didn’t have coconut milk. Could just be me as an uneducated American 🤷🏽♂️
Excellent Spicy Chicken
Absolute horrible service. Got my order completely wrong and I lived to far away to get it replaced, so they offered to give me a free meal next time I was in. Went back the next day and they only offered to comp half. When I refused to pay and told them my meal was supposed to be comped, they told me that they couldn't do anything and I could pay or they would throw it out. They ended up throwing it out. I'd highly recommend Thai Spoon if you are in the area, food is better in my opinion and service is worlds better. Slightly less convenient, but worth it.
This location doesn’t serve drinks with food-apparently due to the pandemic? I’ve heard a lot of strange things blamed on the pandemic so far, but the ability to cook and sell food to customers, while also not being able to sell them drinks in a pandemic, makes the least sense of all of it.
Hey Google, can you stop messing with the hours on your side. Cause you keep giving the public the wrong info. Please don’t call us either cause human error on your end is too common.
If you acknowledge this please like.
fast delivery! tasty food! big portions!
Fast food style pad thai. A bit anemic but doable for a quick lunch.
Currently eating the sweet & spicy chicken, get the yoga flame spicy. It’s delicious. 5 stars for no Thai. If you’re in the middle on whether or not to come try it definitely do. Worth the 11 dollars.
Rude service from cooking staff and cashier. The cashier (A young black girl with blue hair) stared at her phone while I asked her 3 times about my receipt. Cooking staff just as mean.
Great food, great service, as always
Only received 1 star because that was the minimum I could give!!! Horrible service, unorganized, rude employees!!! I called and pre ordered my food for pickup an HOUR and 15 MINUTES ahead so that I could just come and pick it up on my lunch break. Not only do I get there and stand around for 10 minutes before even being asked if I had already placed an order but once I give the name I wait another five minutes to be rung up. I PAID for my food only to THEN be told it was going to be another 20 minutes! After asking why my food wasn’t ready and I ordered well over an hour before. Employees standing around doing nothing began to laugh. Waited ANOTHER 5 minutes just to be refunded. -10/5 highly unrecommended!!!! If you want no Thai I suggest ordering from any location besides the downtown 4th st location !!!!
Great food!
The best! I would eat here every day if I could! The Gang Pak and Pad Thai are delicious!
We have ordered no Thai fried rice and curry fried rice .Thai fried rice great but curry fried rice could have improve more. Customer service is good and expect 15-20 mins for pickup.
One of my favorite spots in Ann arbor, great food, fast service
Not thai food, but decent food. They need a new phone however, they never pick up.
