I came here with my girl friends for dinner, and was amazed by how delicious everything was -- and we tried a lot of the dishes. We had crispy baby bok choy, chive dumplings, steamed butterflies, tamarind wings, kra pow chicken, pad thai, drunken noodle, basil fried rice, mango curry, fried pork, thai iced tea with popsicle, and fried ice cream.
The staff was professional and accommodating, bringing each dish out in a timely manner and ensuring there is space at our table.
Although it is a small restaurant at the corner of the block, it was well lit and nicely decorated, giving it a very comfortable feel. It also has a nice view of the town center if you sit by the window.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai food. I plan to visit again with my family and would order the same dishes and even try others.
The wonton soup and hot and sour soup were absolutely delicious. My favorite part of the meal. We shared a couple of appetizers, including the Thai butterfly dumplings- totally different than any dumpling I’ve ever had- these had roasted peanuts and roasted garlic inside - worth a try. The shrimp tempura sushi was also good. We shared a garlic broccoli dish that had lots of veggies and added shrimp- super tasty and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. Good service, the table space is really tight in some spots.
Delicious food! I ordered the miso ramen the broth had so much flavor and the bamboo shoots were yummy. I never had those before so I’m glad I tried it. We also got pork dumplings as a starter which were cooked to perfection and served with a tasty sauce ! Even order a cold Japanese beer (Sapporo) which was refreshing. Highly recommend checking out Little Spoon. You won’t regret it! Ill be returning and trying more of the menu! Also our waitress was great, I didn’t catch her name but great staff!
I ate lunch at this very sunny and bright small restaurant in downtown Needham. The manager (or owner?) is a lovely lady, very enthusiastic, cheerful and came over several times during my meal. The silverware here is gold-plated which is a bit unusual.
I started with the Tom Kha coconut soup with shrimp, delicious with a creamy coconut base and great flavors. Then I had the tofu Pad Thai with several chunks of fried tofu. I asked for additional bean sprouts and they brought me a good size bowl to add to my Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was fine, and the portion so large that I took half home with me. Lunch was $18 plus a five dollar tip. But I accidentally added a $500 tip which the manager corrected on the spot. And bathroom was spotlessly clean.
I recommend this restaurant. Good food, great service, lovely atmosphere.
Ordered drunken noodles with crispy duck. Noodles and vegetables tasted like the pan had been burnt and they scraped it onto the plate. Duck was overcooked, completely dry, and unedible. When I complained. They offered to make a new dish. When I politely declined, they only discounted the meal $1.60. Tom Ka soup was decent.
Nice location and atmosphere, but not impressed by the food. For better Thai, try Eggs and Thai in Dedham. Not as nice of a location, but significantly better food.
My family is a frequent customer of Little Spoon as my children really enjoy the appetizers and noodles. I am hoping this post will be used as a training topic for future staff meetings.
Tonight, we were incredibly disappointed by Little Spoon's customer service. We had three people in my party (myself and my two elementary-aged children) and when we arrived at 5:30PM (early, in my opinion) we were asked to sit at a two-person table with an extra chair pulled up the side. When I asked to be seated at a 4-person table because the 2-person table looked very tight, the host refused. When two other families arrived a little after us (both parties had two adults and one toddler seated in a high chair), those 4-person tables were given to them without hesitation.
We ordered tamarind chicken wings (which are delicious) and when the waitress brought out the dish she accidentally dropped it all over my lap. I was able to transfer some of the wings from my lap back to the plate, but a couple fell to the floor. My dress was stained and reeked of fish sauce. Not to mention the wings were hot! I did not receive an apology, nor an offer to remake the dish fresh for us. When the waitress later brought me the check, I was surprised to see I was charged the full amount of the chicken wings. When I asked the manager why he charged me for the wings after they had spilled all over my dress and dropped to the floor, he said he would "take care of it" but ended up giving me only 50% off the dish. Again, no apology for the spillage.
Additionally, I had asked the waitress to remove my dish (to give us more room as we were seated at a 2-person table and it was tight) but to leave my son's bowl of noodles because he had gone to the bathroom and would be back to finish. After I had spoken to the manager about the wings, I turned around and the bowl of noodles had been cleared. My son was very upset and became clear to me that the language barrier was probably what caused the misunderstanding. The language barrier is totally understandable, but when I asked her to bring out a new bowl, she somehow found my son's previous bowl of noodles that she had cleared from our table (who knows where it was sitting in the kitchen and with what) and brought it back out for him to eat.
As I said, my family enjoys the food so we will continue to be frequent customers. I hope these comments will be used as training points for their next staff meeting. This was a series of unfortunate events in just one evening!
The coconut shrimp is good, everything else is just really mediocre
Great food and service! We enjoy both dining in and getting takeout from Little Spoon. Everything on their menu is delicious but I personally love their Khao Soi.
Our lunch was excellent. The menu is very transparent about gluten free and vegetarian options with multiple choices.
Good is great and it’s a wonderful addition to Needham, but service is variable. Went for takeout earlier this week and had to wait 30 minutes beyond the indicated pickup time before I got my food. There is no space to wait and they clearly get bottlenecked easily
Little spoon is the best food in all area

One of the best Thai food restaurants we’ve found. The vegetables were so fresh and cooked to perfection. Not your typical veggies of baby corn etc.. but real nice veggies
Little spoon is just delightful! The staff are warm, the setting is cozy and relaxed, and the food is all delicious and fresh. We’ve been many times before and I highly recommend little spoon to anyone looking for a great Thai meal, or a dinner in Needham.
I made a last minute decision to change my dinner plans and go here while passing by. Staff was nice and establishment was cute but I was disappointed in everything. I tried 4 different dishes, all were very greasy and lacked actual flavor. Not a great representation of Thai food. Unfortunately it was a waste of money and Friday dinner splurge.

We stopped by on our way to the Cape and couldn't be more happy! All the flavors we complex and elevated beyond our expectations, I wish we lived closer because we'd eat here all the time!! Highly recommend!
Amazing food and great service!
Ordered takeout noodle soups, the bowls kept the noodles and ingredients fresh separate from the broth. We got the Tom Yum Ramen and the Beef Kao Soi. It was delicious! Will order again. Thai lime tea was very refreshing.
Been here 6 times...so far. Hands Down, the BEST Thai restaurant in all of Mass. Always fresh, tasty, clean, authentic Thai food. Staff & Owner are great people too. This place overall is a GEM!!! Its amazing..soups, apps and entrees!
This place should get MORE hype, honestly.
Great service, great food, and great vegetarian options! We are lucky we're so close
Had a girls night dinner here and the food and service was AWESOME! Food came out so so quick and everything was amazing! Definitely will be returning to try more items on the menu!
Unfortunately, the food was very underwhelming. The chicken green curry was was watery and virtually tasteless. The chicken wasnt seasoned at all. The rice was mushy and pad thai was somewhat bland. Only upside was the friendly staff and clean establishment.
Fantastic food, very authentic.
This place is SO GOOD! Great vibe, amazing food and great service. We went there for a family dinner and had a blast!
Clean. Attentive staff.
Favorite place to get thai food, always good service very friendly and doesn’t take too long. I have been to a lot of countries and i have had the best pad thai here, always my go to. Nice atmosphere inside and good drinks.
Simple, delicious and honest food. The Tom Kha soup is out of this world with subtle flavours that sooth the soul
The food was very tasty. My date had the crispy duck with fried rice, which was cooked well, with crisp skin. Prices were reasonable and the place seemed clean. Being the holidays, they had typical Christmas pop music on which was a bit incongruous for a Thai restaurant but still a good experience.
Nice find in Needham. Generous portions and tasty food.
For our dishes, shrimps and rice bowls will be charged without showing on the menu.
It’s like a hidden fee.
Pay attention to what you order.
pork dumplings were SPECTACULAR
Clear labeling for gluten-free options. Excellent food and nice atmosphere.
Food is better than average Thai restaurants.
The place is small and ambience is so-so. Only paid Street parking.
Loved the food and location/ambiance !
Being plant based- we always find lots to eat . Great options for vegan.

Little spoon is a welcome addition to the Needham restaurant scene. We've tried most of the menu, and have not yet been disappointed. Pad Thai and red curry are favorites.
A quick date night excursion to Needham. Saturday evening so we called ahead to get a table for two. We shared drunken noodles with crispy duck and a vegetable yellow curry. Jasmine rice was good, got a second one to soak up the curry, a sweet burn at 3. Noodles great elastic tasty, and excellent duck on them. Veggies all fresh and bright.
Next time though, I’m getting my own DNDuck cuz it was stellar.
Now quite possibly the best Thai food in Metro West
I threw out the entire order. I ordered 4 different items and all of them were horribly greasy and tasteless.
Good service, very friendly staffs and clean environment, but if you are looking for good Thai food, unfortunately this is not it. The curry was watery with no taste, the pad Thai was soggy, the so call must-try pork chop was dry. The duck was salty and dry. I would hate to say it but food is below average.
Fantastic
The wonton soup and hot and sour soup were absolutely delicious. My favorite part of the meal. Small Thai restaurant, lovely and cozy.
This is the best thai I have had in suburban Boston by far
Amazing Thai food and great service. One of the best Thai/East-Asian restaurants in the area in my opinion!
OMG!!! Food is so good!!! Ordered Veg dumplings as a appetizer and then the Crispy Cashew Nut with white rice. Highly recommend!!!!
Absolutely great food , environment, service. Everything was amazing from the second I arrived at the restaurant. I would absolutely return here.
A lovely Thai restaurant in my parents home town. We'll be back!
One of the worst Thai food experiences ever. Pad Thai was mushy, lacking egg and with very few vegetables. Stir fry was bland. Nephew reports he’s still burping up the food a day later. Service was lackluster and the establishment added a 20 % service charge for a party of just six. Hefty price tag on top of the very mediocre food. Avoid this restaurant.
You must try the incredibly delicious and light fried bok choy if you like bok choy! I don't know what sorcery the chef is doing in the kitchen but I've been thinking about this light and crunchy dish for three days now.
Food was okay my Pa Thai wasn't that good but otherwise my friends food's we're good Excellent atmosphere and customer service
Good Thai food at decent prices. The service is fairly fast and the staff is very friendly.
Great portions! And don’t skip out ordering their peanut sauce, we couldn’t get enough of it
The food is excellent, but forego ordering takeout on a weekend night. They do not have a system for effectively getting orders out reasonably close to your order time. I have waited 30 mins plus on more than one occasion while the restaurant is only half full.
Might be best Thai food I've had in years. Very good food. Quality dishes and great selection with gluten free options. Great atmosphere too. I'll be back!
Takeout was 25 min late. Missing some of the order. Hard to feel good about this place.
A very cute place in Needham center with lots of glass so you can see out no matter where you sit.
We had Miso Ramen and Pad Thai with tofu - both delicious and fresh. The ramen broth and ingredients were great, but the noodles should have been cooked to order.
The staff were courteous and efficient, and the place was spotless.
We really enjoyed our experience and will be back.
AMAZING!! We always go here and are never let down (we've gone at least 10 times). Excellent and fresh food. Yummy flavors. Great service and a very cool atmosphere. Get the lychee bubble tea or Thai iced tea, coconut shrimp to start, and the drunken noodles to eat. Yum!
This place is terrific. I have never been disappointed
Nice ambience and tasty food
Tom yum shrimp ramen!!! 🤩
Service was good but food was all right. The crispy baby bok choy was unfortunately very oily and the steamed butterflies didn't live up to the hype. Thai iced tea was great, it came with a mini Thai iced tea popsicle. For our main dishes we had pad thai which was standard and the Tom yum ramen soup, was good. Nothing stands out so I'm not in a rush to go back.
Tasty well prepared food. Really liked the chicken satay.
Lovwd their Thai tea, You'll love Mango curry, worth a try.
Must have the Ice tea!
Love the spicy pad thai, and their portions are great! Staff is also very friendly.
Great addition to the area. Service prompt and friendly. Meals were delicious with fresh tasting ingredients and presented beautifully.
Great food!! Our go to for Thai take out!
Wonderful experience overall. The staff is SUPER friendly. The food is amazing, and authentic, the spices were on point. I highly recommend the Pad See Ew. The seating can be a little tight but they are very accommodating. The restaurant is extremely clean and gives a modern vibe with a hint of victorian. Highly recommend, small and large parties.
Beautiful space at a great location and service. Need to try more dishes to get the full spectrum of spices.
Nice food.
Love the Coconut Shrimp appetizer.
We ate here tonight for the first time, after having takeout several times. Excellent food, portions, and service. We are so happy to have amazing Thai food in the area. The manager/owner was very kind and we enjoyed talking with her. Must try the Khao Soi and Pad See Ew. We’ll be back soon!
Service is terrible but food is really good.
Great food and great service. We had Pad Thai, Crispy Chicken and Miso Ramen. Would love to try other things on the menu.

This is some of the best Thai food we’ve eaten in the US! We enjoyed trying dishes we hadn’t seen before like the crispy bok choy and butterfly dumplings which had lots of complex flavors. The ambiance was well done and the service from the staff was excellent!
I love Thai food.

What a fun place to be in.
So happy to find a great new place in Needham! We tried several dishes today and all were delicious. Definitely fresh and made with care. The 2 women working were super friendly and kind. Good variety on the menu and I appreciate the lunch sized options too. We will go back for sure!!
This was my first takeout order and I was very disappointed. The Crispy Cashew Chicken was dry and stringy. The spicy basil rice tasted burned and oily. I was really hoping for a winner!!!
Food was delicious! Best Thai food I have had in awhile and the restaurant is beautifully designed and has a great atmosphere. Great new addition to needham and will be coming back!
We loved our experience there! Staff were very attentive. Food was fresh and DELICIOUS. Will definitely be a staple for dining out and for getting takeout
The food was excellent.
Superb chicken pad thai! Hands down the best I have had in Massachusetts!! And super nice team of people running this new business. The restaurant is beautiful and would be perfect for a date night or special night with family too. Will be back again and again!
Love this place! Miso ramen is my favorite! Worth the wait! They are very busy and don’t have many workers. Be patient people, I’m sure they don’t enjoy being understaffed. Thank you for giving Needham a little more culture!
Just tried take out from little spoon. Absolutely fantastic. The best Thai food I had in years. Very fresh and you can tell from the first bite. Got Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup. Both fresh and delicious. Will definitely go back for more.
We were looking for Thai takeout, saw this place recently opened up in town, and decided to give Little Spoon a try. It was SO good!!! I’m so happy we have a great new Thai place in Needham. We ordered Pad Thai, Spicy Pad Thai and Red Curry and would definitely recommend them all.
We look forward to ordering again and also doing dine-in! The atmosphere looked wonderful when we went to grab our takeout.
Uhmazing and super fresh, tasty food. I’m so impressed and happy this restaurant is here now. Som, at the order desk, was excellent help with my extreme food allergies. Pretty well beat pad Thai I’ve ever eaten. Thank you Som and everyone there!
Best pad thai in needham hands down! Can't wait to try more!
