Perhaps their specialty rolls are better. I would not discourage trying this restaurant but would recommend trying something other than sushi.

I was in the area and this is my first time coming here. I was excited to get the drunken noodles based on the restaurant having almost a five star review. When I received the order, it didn’t look like the traditional drunken noodles and after tasting it, it tasted nothing like drunken noodles. It didn’t really have any spice or flavor. However, it didn’t taste bad. It just was not what I had expected so for that reason I have to give it a two star. The green leafy stuff in the fish did not taste like basil. If you’re coming here specifically looking for that classic drunken noodle taste, I would not recommend it.

Then I said, I’ll just have the wonton soup. Which was more like cup a noodle broth with three wontons. I haven’t tried any of the other food but Thai doubt it’s worth the high price.

I have been a few times since they recently opened. Very friendly owner. Food is actually very good. Sushi is excellent along with poke bowl. I was surprised at the sauces, very flavorful and spicy! Hey, we are in Pikesville, why not have a Matzo Ball Chicken "Wonton" Soup? Sounds crazy, but I'd order it. Looking forward to trying more dishes.

Food came out super quick and service was top notch. I agree with the previous post that the drunken noodles didn't have the classic flavor I expected.
However, the part that leaves a bad taste in my mouth is that I was not informed of the policy to upcharge credit cards 3%, allegedly to stay "in line with industry standards," when the meal was already expensive. (I did not receive a folder with the check before paying - I handed my card directly to the server.) If I had known this beforehand, I would have used a different card, or cash.

Prices have gone thru the roof. Can’t believe the price of vegetables (which makes up 75% of Chinese food) has increased that much, even with Bidenflation. $27-$28 for a single Chinese dish is crazy. I don’t see the restaurant being able to thrive with such high prices:

Pros: The Mongolian beef, fried rice, chicken and mushrooms, and tofu and broccoli were all delicious! The sushi platter was absolutely beautiful! The location is easy to find right off the main road and there is plenty of parking. Star-K kosher.

Cons: Not competitively priced with other Chinese food in the area.

Has the best American Chinese food in town, even better than the non-kosher places. The sesame chicken was super crispy and fresh, and the sauce had complexity, didn't just taste like sugar. Sushi was fresh, as well. Beware that tip is automatically added, I don't like that because it sometimes seems like a trick for people to double-tip.

I've never dined in but it looks like a great atmosphere. I typically order the same items bc I'm pleased with them.

Extremely limited gluten free options. They cook with regular soy sauce and make no accommodations by having tamari in the house - if I want to order sushi I have to remember to bring my own tamari. The Mei Fan, which I've had 5 times, is decent. Unfortunately this is one of my kids' favorite restaurants, but Taam Thai not caring about people with a sensitivity to gluten is truly getting on my nerves.

I ordered the drunken noodle lunch special that came with rice and an egg roll. I also ordered a yellowtail roll. The food did not taste authentic at all, it lacked flavor. The sushi did not taste fresh or good. The staff was nice and the restaurant appeared to be clean. I would not recommend.

I was excited to find a new Thai restaurant, however this was a very underwhelming experience. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken, it was quite bland, made with a pasty spicy red sauce and overflowing with under cooked vegetables (carrots, baby corn, peppers and celery) which I've never had in this particular dish from any other Asian restaurant. I don't believe this is an authentic Thai restaurant. Also, we were not greeted upon entry and only received a dry " I'll be with you in a minute" from the young lady with pink highlights. Very disappointed.

I had a pretty bad experience here a while ago.
I was meeting some friends here checking it out for the first time. Ambiance was nice and most of the staff was pleasant but when I went to the bar to buy a drink an employee came to ask how things were. I ordered four beers from the bar, he asked me why I was present I mentioned I wanted to check the place out with some of my friends and he rolled his eyes and asked sarcastically if I was only buying drinks or if I’d be splurging on food as well. I had been there for a total of 5 minutes and I found this line of questioning to be extremely inappropriate. I had been planning on buying food for everyone but after the disgusting behavior displayed by this “manager” (i think someone may have referred to him by mark but I’m not sure) I can’t support them with my business. I wasn’t going to post this review but recently I have heard similar complaints from two or three people in my community.

I will say other than this everything did seem very nice.

Just because they're the only Thai food around doesn't mean they slouch! Always very good, but make sure you note to put mild if you don't like spicy! Sushi platters are also great value!

Wouldn't have made it through the pandemic without this brilliant addition to the Baltimore kosher scene. The sushi chef never fails to deliver -- I will eat the poke salad poke bowl any time of any day, and the specialty rolls are delectable. The Thai drunken noodles are a great go-to -- the sauce is never heavy or cloying, always flavorful at whichever spice level. The basic Chinese dishes are fine, and some things -- like the dragon fingers or the basil fried rice -- have nothing local like them. Add in the ability to get a Cosmo delivered . . . Like I said, they got us through !!

This is a lovely restaurant that took us without a reservation on a Sunday night. The service was a bit slow to get started as we waited for a waiter to come by. Once we got a waiter however the service was excellent. Our waiter was a very friendly fellow and we enjoyed his help. His recommendation for food was great! The food was excellent & tasty!!

Way to slow when ordering pick up slow but delivery ridiculously slow every time at least a half hour late from estimated delivery time and when you call to check on delivery they are no help and do not even say sorry for being… in fact they act annoyed that you call and check on your food. but Food is decent although I would think for a Thai restaurant they would have more Thai food and more spicy food….

Showed up with friends for dinner waited awhile to order server brought me the wrong item and when I said something I was told the kitchen is closed I had to sit and watch all my friends eat.

My Mom and I went for dinner. The service was very very slow. It took forever for them to take our order. Once we finally ordered, the food came pretty fast. The food was average, nothing special and it wasn’t very hot. We probably won’t return.

Best Kosher Thai food in all of Baltimore. I felt like I was back in Bangkok.

We had many of the Thai dishes and they were very good, flavourful not fake tasting. The service was wonderful, our water glasses were regularly refilled and our waitress made sure to give us updates on the food and check on us.

More than just a reincarnation of Umamis, Taam Thai stands on its own two feet. We were actually unimpressed during the soft opening like 2 years ago but they have definitely upped their game. The food is delicious and brought outside hot and fresh. Outside dining and curbside only during coronavirus (still)

The food is just delicious. I've ordered twice now, and enjoyed every dish. Update 4/28/21. Ordered again tonight, and it was terrific. The Thai Sweet and Sour Chicken, meaty steamed dumplings, and Subgum Wonton Soup were all winners!!!

FOOD TASTES LIKE HEAVEN

Believe it or not, they deliver to Harrisburg, PA once a week. The menu has a nice variety and portions are huge. The prices aren't cheap - but that is to be expected with kosher take out and you get your money's worth. My kids stick with the Chinese entrees. I find that the Thai dishes have a nice amount of spice and the sushi recipes are innovative and good. Thumbs up from me!

We ordered from them when they did a delivery night to our community near philadelphia. The food was fantastic and even after the long drive it was hot. Prices were good and the driver was organized and nice. Looking forward to having their food again.

Not sure how they have such good reviews. The sushi is terrible, the poke bowls taste like ginger is the only seasoning, the sushi bombs are bland and not as advertised. The kani salad is just mayo and kani (I had to toss that one). This place needs Chef Robert Irvine to swing by or something like that. Overpriced and just not worth it. Friendly staff though.

The food is good, the staff is friendly, and in good weather there is a nice outdoor seating area. There are two aspects of this restaurant, though, that diners should be aware of in advance. First, you will be asked to select white or fried rice, and told (if you ask) that the meals come with rice, only to discover that you have been charged an additional amount for rice. And, second, you will be automatically charged an 18% gratuity on non-carry out orders without being informed of this in advance, and then presented with a bill that includes space for a tip and suggested tipping amounts, implying to those who fail to look carefully that the total listed on the bill did not already include a tip. I know that the restaurant business has been hit particularly hard by the pandemic and that restaurants are struggling to survive in any way that they can, but these two things tend to border on dishonesty.
