Been here few times over the last 3 years or so.. very first time I went with my friend it was best, then seems as though each time the portions have gotten smaller and price has gone up. The food is pretty good but there's better Thai out there. The service last couple times could have been better, but certainly not rude, in fact one time I went last year one 'very young' lady waitress was very attentive and cordial, other times wait staff not so much. I'm not totally against recommending them but price for portions is my complaint.
Stopped by for lunch and the place is decent but cramped. Food was alright but lacked the yummy factor. There are better places out there that can provide better Thai food. Drunken noodles were too sweet without much spice which didn't taste like Thai drunken noodles. In Penang curry one could feel the ground peanut paste which wasn't that great. Tom yum soup was the best spicy and tangy from the lemongrass. Another curry was full of soy so it wasn't well made. The chicken texture and cut was the same in all the Thai dishes like an add on without any flavor. Wouldn't recommend this place.
We have been customers for several years.
In October 12, 2024 - we brought home carry out dinner and were shocked when opening the bag on our kitchen table to discover several large roaches !!! Not just one - several!!! After immediately notifying the restaurant they did refund our purchase. However - they remained open that evening and even the next day, serving other unsuspecting customers - while they knew of their roach infestation!!!
We will NEVER go back, nor will our family, friends and neighbors. Totally unacceptable and gross!

This is our go-to Thai place. Since Covid we have used them for take-out a couple times a month. They are always quick. They serve good portions. The food is great. Everyone in our house has different tastes, and I can say from the spring rolls, to the drunken noodles, everything is excellent.

The best Thai food in Montgomery County!
Excellent experience here. One of the best kao soi I've ever had! Service was very attentive and sweet. We will definitely be back
Best Thai I’ve had in the Rockville/Gaithersburg area. My only complaint is that they don’t make it spicy enough! Sometimes I just want a good face melting.
another favorite place for me
We usually patronize the one in Clovery, but thought we’ll give this location a shot. Unfortunately we feel the food is really mediocre. The crispy basil duck was subpar and the mango in the mango sticky rice was not sweet at all.
Our favorite Thai restaurant. We particularly love the cashew chicken, beef panang, drunken noodles, and curry puffs.
Jit, our server was amazing ( humble , friendly , and professional). Food was great as well. Would recommend this place .
Reasonably good food. The duck salad was dry and tasteless. The noodles were good.
Food was not good. Everything was burnt and there is a gross fishy taste to everything (I got one tofu dish and one chicken dish). Not a good Thai place.
Did pick up because their delivery fee is absolutely ridiculous. I paid $29 for pick up of 2 items and if I did delivery, they were charging me $45.
Food was okay. The server seemed little less warm in attending the guests.
The customer service is lacking. I’m very disappointed because I’ve been ordering from here for almost 2 and a half years and today was absolutely terrible. I ordered two meals and found strands of hair in one of them. When I asked for a refund, they said they could not refund because the owner was not in the building. This makes no sense and frankly isn’t my problem. Anyway, I was told that they could remake the food. I drove a total of 40 minutes and all they gave me was two spring rolls for my “troubles”. I’m very disappointed as my meal should’ve been comped due to the STRANDS OF HAIR in it as well as a better complimentary service. My family and I will no longer order from this restaurant anymore because their actions to rectify a problem was unacceptable.
Great food and experience. We were in a rush, and the table server met our expectations. We look forward to revisiting when we have more time! Thank you!
First time visit and family recommended. Very friendly and food was delicious. Will visit again
I was honestly a little disappointed. The best dish in my totally not expert opinion at a Thai restaurant should be the pad thai. It was overly sweet and weird tasting.
Best thai in Potomac. Excellent curries. I love the pork dumplings and the spring rolls are scrumptious.
Good pad Thai.
Just aweful. When they first opened we thought the food was good. As time has gone by the food quality has declined. Last time we dined there it was not good. We decided to give it another try and the food was absolutely terrible. Rice and vegetables were overcooked. Food was flavorless. Pick one of the other Thai places around like Kim In in Rockville or Thai Tanium. You’ll be much happier.

Food is delicious, very nice people and it is clean inside. Cashew chicken is a must get!
Proper Thai food, spiced right.
We ordered Panang Chicken and Honey Ginger Duck to go. Curry was too runny and more like a soup and can’t even stand eating more than two bites, the duck meat on “honey ginger duck” was too dry. The only thing we could eat was the 2 cups of rice that came with our food. Other than that, we have to drive outside again and get something else for dinner! Starving after spending $38.. so very disappointed!!!
So so good.
Wow! This place was excellent! My wife and I happened to drive by and decided to stop for dinner. We asked the owner to suggest a dish and he recommended the special - kua kling - a spicy pork with Thai chili paste that we’d never heard of and it was AWESOME! We also ordered the drunken noodles which was excellent, and finished with the sticky rice and mango dessert which was sublime. The food here is authentic but this place is probably not well known. It is such a gem! We will definitely be back…soon.
Excellent food, great menu and great staff.
Absolutely wonderful. The food was excellent, the service was perfect, and the area was clean and well decorated. I look forward to returning here. I can't get enough of the food!
A lovely restaurant with a cozy warm interior and delicious family recipes.
Wow, that was a mediocre meal. Too little sauce. Too little rice. And not cheap.
Food tasted old! It's not fully Thai taste, you can tell the food was not made with love and it was a fast making food like they was rushing! Portion size is very small, I'm definitely not going back ! Too much sugar added to the foods and if you're not Asian you don't know how real Thai food taste like.
Muy bueno
The thai fried rice was great and the noodles e cooked just right. The flavor was excellent and service was friendly. Will go back again.
Their ambiance is very nice and employees r very friendly and helpful!
Best place in Montgomery county to get Thai food. I’ve been coming here for years. I’d recommend the pad see ew to those who want to try something new but not be too adventurous, it’s delicious!
Amazing flavors and delicious food. Wonderful curry and sauces!
Siriwan Thai is one of my favorite places! Food is excellent, and I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for an order. I love their curry puffs, and their tofu and vegetable soup! The sticky rice is also amazing! My mom adores the spicy eggplant.
The food and service was excellent! The Ka Pow with shrimp was perfect!
Today I ordered the Siriwan chicken dish. I figured it would be something different than what I usually get from Thai restaurants and I had my hopes up but I was severely disappointed. When I ordered the plate the sausage in the middle was completely frozen and uncooked. I had to send the plate back because it was inedible. When they brought it back out I could tell they just microwaved it because the chicken was extremely dry. Even after being served frozen sausage they still charged me the $23 for the dish. Not even a discount or anything. After, I got home I started to get stomach pains and I'm guessing it's because of the uncooked sausage that was stuffed in the chicken. I love Thai food and all the flavors it offers but this place is not Thai. I would not recommend this place and I will not be coming back here again.
Dined with my sister after picking her up at the airport. Lots of options on this menu with friendly helpful service. It was a Monday evening and we were the only people on the dining room but this business seems to do brisk carry out. My sister ordered basil rice and I had the chicken lemongrass with Thai basil & curry, a perfect blend of savory with a slight kick from the curry. I love Thai food and this was very good.
I love the art they had do I snapped a pic!
Our go to Thai place near home. Restaurant is a cozy little place that’s tasteful decorated. Wait staff are very friendly and attentive. Food is consistently decent. Love their larb kai, basil duck, pineapple rice and sticky mango with rice.
This is our go-to Thai place. Since Covid we have used them for take-out a couple times a month. They are always quick. They serve good portions. The food is great. Everyone in our house has different tastes, and I can say from the spring rolls, to the drunken noodles, everything is excellent.
So very filling.
I’ve had pad Thai around the world and in dozens of states here in the US and this place is really delicious. I also enjoyed their fried tofu. It was fresh, hot, and delicious. I haven’t dined in yet, but plan to. It’s really great food! Can’t wait to try other options on their menu.
Worst Drunken Noodles I had in my life, it’s stale and not fresh was just reheated.
Just save your time and effort and pick some other restaurant.
This is my third time eating from this restaurant, each time for convenience. This last time was it. The food is horrible. The seafood fried rice only have 4 shrimp and calamari in it, waaaay too expensive. The calamari tasted very spoiled and almost smelled rotten while chewing and the rice was very soggy and flavor less. In addition, the service was horrible, as usual. I doubt we’ll we dining here again for any reason.
Is great!!!
Great service, great food!
I came with two friends during COVID. We ordered to eat outside. One of the pieces of chicken I had eaten in the Pad Thai tasted so raw that I just wanted to spit it out. Another friend had a bigger issue (he didn't want his review online).
Be wary when eating here! They do not cook properly.
The food is delicious, service is great, and their setup for carryout makes things super efficient.
Decent food, combination fried rice only had one shrimp. Not the best Thai food but not the worst.
This place is the WINNER of all the Thai restaurants in the DMV. Get extra peanut sauce.
I cannot express how great this place is. The people in the front who take your orders are so nice. The set up of the store is thoughtful to avoid coming into 6ft of others and preventing the spread of COVID. And the food is just amazing. The Thai fried rice is the BEST I've had.
It waa my first time. Owner was nice. They do not have sit ins due to the pandemic. I carried out and the food was ok for me.
Very tasty overall and great service. Not the best thai but a great neighborhood choice.
Very good thai. Would recommend to everyone.
Gotta go here. Food was outrageously good. Spring rolls and shrimp pad Thai were flavorful and just delicious. You HAVE to get the papaya salad. Chili shrimp and Thai iced tea were great. Can’t wait to go back. I want to get all these dishes again but the menu looks so good I have to try the rest.
Pad thai is so good!!!
Everything you want in this small restaurant where you should be a regular.
This restaurant is one of of the best ones I have ever been to. The variety of dishes are superb, and there is no minor flaw with their cooking. There classic dishes that are sooo good, and could keep you wanting to eat more.
Great food, very friendly staff. My partner and I go here at least once a week :) I highly recommended the garlic stir fry, delicious!
Expensive, but great food.
This is my favorite spot!! The food is so good and everyone who works there is friendly and kind. Great weekday lunch specials. And can swap out meat for tofu in almost any dish!
Went for my birthday. Whole family loved it. Drunken noodles and their crispy basil duck were really good. Slightly pricey but we'll worth it.
Delicious
Good place to eat.
IMO the best local Thai restaurant. The wait staff are really nice. Like the drunken noodle and the rolls.
Excellent food, fast and friendly service
I love their food!
The reason most people go out to dine is having a good time and enjoy their dinner.
Siriwan Thai got a 5 star from me the last few times we patronized them because of good food and good service.
All these have changed and not for better.
The food...the cashew chicken came without cashew, not 1 piece and was mainly made of too sweet dough with very little chicken in it, they brought us a bowl with cashew upon our insistence.
the seafood soup was way too hot even though we asked them to make it non hot, the appetizer (fried calamari) was drenched in oil, un appetizing and consisted of mostly fried dough!!
Service....almost non existent...asked for extra napkins three (3) times before we got, read this, two (2) "extra" napkins and this is for 4 people!
All in all a very disappointing experience! I think that they got a different - and much worse - chef, or they simply don't care.
So it looks like me and my friends lost one of our favorite Thai places, because, we are not going back to Siriwan Thai.
Went here to celebrate Mother's Day with my cousin, who has a toddler. The drunken noodles were delicious, and the staff was incredibly accommodating to my active, vocal nephew. He probably dropped about half a bowl of noodles on the floor, but they were incredibly nice and even made him laugh more. My mom and grandma also loved the crispy basil duck. All around, a fantastic experience that exceeds its unassuming location.
Hidden gem! Great food very fast service
Not the best Thai food I've had but I liked the nice spice kick in the Ka Pow dish.
Very good food and service! My new go-to Thai place in Gaithersburg!
Favorite thai place absolutely love this place I go as many times as I can
Great food and service
Been here 3 times and so far all have been really good, specially the basil squid. Their calamari could be better though, it was too oily and the pieces were thin.
VERY NICE FRIENDLY FAMILY PLACE GREAT FOOD FAST SERVICE DO NOT FRY IN PEANUT OIL GLUTEN FREE WE ASKED BECAUSE OF SOME IN THE PARTY HAVING ALLERGIES WE COULD FIND SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE INCLUDING THE VEGANS HIGH MARKS AND OTHER TRENDING PLACES IN THE AREA HAD UP TO TWO HOUR WAITS
Our new favorite for Thai food in the area. Increase the heat level if you like authentic taste. Very friendly and efficient service. Grilled beef salad and crispy basil pork both excellent.
Very good Thai food. We just found this little gem tucked in a shopping center. It's not a big restaurant which makes it feel more quaint. We have always enjoyed our Thai food and thought this place was very good.
Good food, friendly staff, cute venue! They have great lunch specials, too (dine in only).
Excellent food. Superior service.
Clean & nice and warm ambiance. Foid is fresh & quite good. Traditional Thai dishes.✔
Superb tasting food, good and quick service. It's a gem in the area.
Hands down best drunken noodles ever! Actually everything we had was delicious and fresh. Service great too!
My boyfriend and I LOVE this place, we go to Siriwan regularly. The employees are warm, the atmosphere is cozy and the food is always spot on. We haven't ordered anything that we didn't like. My favorites are the Thai fried rice, garlic stir fry and panang curry. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
Excellent food and service. Quaint little place that is just hopping, serving some delicious Thai food.
Not discovered yet. Great food, beer wine, I always get a table juat walking in.
Amazing food. Their fried rice is absolutely delicious!
Great food.
Cute place and friendly staff. food is pretty good
This little restaurant is located in Gaithersburg. The place is really cute and cosy. The lady who came in to take our orders got me a warm glass of water just because i was cold and wearing my husband's jacket! That was so sweet! We ordered tom yum soup which was average tasting. But the Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai was flavorful! Loved the ambiance. Would definitely recommend this place to taste Thai.
Great food, very friendly staff, lovely art on the walls, pretty reasonable prices. Over all great experience.
The best Thai restaurant I have visited. Really good variety. Have spicy options and unique taste.
This place is one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to. For the price, it is the best. The food is incredible - I have tried about half the menu and have yet to be dissappointed. The style is not like the often bland and Americanized Thai food one might be accustomed to, though having never been to Thailand I can't actually make claims about authenticity. The dishes do not shy away from spice, and as with any decent Thai restaurant if you want to make it spicier they will oblige you, and also will bring you a spice tray so you can spice to taste if you want. That said, there are less spicy options available. The lunch specials are a great deal (I love the soup they come with). The service is also great and incredibly friendly. On our most recent trip there was heavy rain and the staff offered to walk us to our car with their umbrella. I am traveling to the area for work and wish there was a place even half as good at home. I am not at all surprised to see that at the time of this writing they have a 4.7 star rating. It really is that good.
Vegan options, great service, delicious times were had. Also there's a party in my tummy..
So yummy.
Went there with family and ordered appetizers and entrees. Loved the food. Staff was friendly. Overall excellent service. I'll recommend this to anyone who loves thai food.
Good food and good atmosphere.
Good food, but turned off by political signage.
Excellent food with great service!
Some of the best Thai outside of Thailand
Friendly n good service! GJ
The pad see ew is my favorite
Amazing soup and drunken noodles...very good taste...good ambience and hygenic...very good service...felt very cozy...
The not exactly cheap entree comes with a tablespoon of rice. They are happy to give you another tablespoon when you ask for more rice without mentioning that it is going to cost you a dollar.
Flavours in a curry are not something to write home about and the the entree missed some ingredients listed in it's menu description
The food was flavorful the service was awesome kept my water filled the whole time.
Excellent food. A choice of classic Thai dishes in a small restaurant with friendly service.
Really good food, nice pple too
Great food
The food was excellent. I am excited to have found this local restaurant.
Lovely decorative Thai restaurant which gives you a cozy and comfortable feeling when eating here. Food is excellent. Best Thai cuisine ever I have tried so far.
Awesome food. Great service. Hidden Gem
Family run restaurant, the atmosphere is great. The best Thai restaurant I have ever been.
Second time here - both times the food was excellent. Hop skip and a jump from Boyds where I live. Today I had the shrimp cakes for an appetizer and the crispy basil duck for my main lunch - it was awesome.
