Recently dined at Chinese Express and ordered the combination platter with Kung Pao chicken that came with an egg roll and a small egg drop soup. The prices are very affordable, and the portion sizes are great! I can't believe the rating isn't higher.

The food was a range of temperatures with the soups actually being cold. The soup was also disappointingly bad after having reheated them and while the chow mein and lo mein were ok. I was a little worried about food safety so I had to hear everything again before trying it and at that point I ended up throwing it away after it was pretty much flavorless.

I went to the restaurant and ordered a large shrimp fried rice.There was 4 to 5 mini shrimp in my rice! I called the same day and was giving a credit to get another order of the rice which I picked up another day. The second time the order was excellent. I continue ordering from them. A month or so down the line I order a shrimp fried rice again. I had the same problem no shrimp and the rice tasted old. I called back up to the store the same day. The young girl that waited on me apologized and ask me to come back in to get another rice but I was home relaxed by that time. I told her I would save the food and bring it back in. She told me to throw it away and she would take my number and give me a new rice when I came back in. I called in to pick up my credit for my rice and order other dishes and the manager was really rude! He told me another rice is not good?!! I told him yeah, I was told to come in to get another one. His attitude turn me off from ordering and I told him to keep his credit and he should'nt treat customers like this. Then he slammed the phone down in my ear! Customer sevice at its worst!!!!!!!

Beef fried rice great but I was drugged police were called to my house because I fell asleep from food.

there isn't Chinese on their menu ???? Like all the entrees are in English lol

We got 2 beef egg rolls and one "Szechuan" ("Sichuan" ) string beans.

The string beans were solid 4/5 but the egg roll was 1.5/5 bc it was very doughy and the beef wasn't fresh.

The prices were very reasonable though!

Food is amazing and the staff are so nice

I used to order from them all the time and the food was good. However, now that they have reopened after being closed for renovation, I placed my first order and the the soup was greasy. The egg rolls were doughy. The fried rice was sticky and lumpy. I will not be ordering from them again.

Disappointed with the flavor and texture. Ordered pork low mein and the meat didn’t have flavor. Couldn’t tell if it was pork. The noodles were thicker than other restaurants which wasn’t bad but it lacked flavor. The crab rangoons were not good. They were a thick pastry and it was fried in old oil and over cooked. You could taste it. The filling was very salty. They were not good.

Egg drop soup was good. Nice and hot and good flavor. The chicken wings were also good. Nice and crispy.

Overall not satisfied with this order.

Fast delivery and good tasting food!

My "go to" Chinese restaurant. I've been going here for years. They've survived many hardships so I'm very happy they're still in the neighborhood. Great fried tofu with many different options for my fellow vegetarians.

Thecashier was very busy efficient and still friendly. The World Cup had just started and there's were some fun amigos in there that I had some good fun smack talking about the beautiful game while waiting.

This restaurant is located in a convenient distance from my apartment. I was actually kinda conflicted to come to this restaurant when I look through the online review. But I still came and tried it myself. I ordered the Gentso Chicken and the chicken broccoli. Here’s my personal opinion of this restaurant: The Gentso chicken are crispy and savory. I personally thinks that the sauce for the Gentso chicken is just right and it’s delicious. But i guess if you prefer stronger flavor you can ask them to make it extra saucy. And for the chicken broccoli, the chicken is very tender and the sauce is really savory as well. And if you compare the price for this restaurant to the other Chinese restaurant , it’s actually much better and really worth the quantity of food they serve. The other comments are really misleading. I wanna write this review to adjust the preference they had on the internet. You wouldn’t know what’s it’s like unless you come and tried yourself.

I got Gen Tso`s from here and NO flavor, the fried wonton`s were below average with very little flavor. Sad that the wonton`s had more flavor than Tso`s. No spice on a dish they claim to be spicey. I am surprised this place is still around honestly. Only reason for 2 stars and not 1 is the Wonton`s.

Waste of money! I arrived to pick up a carry out order, I thought I was at the wrong place. This is a Chinese Restaurant, Right? The decor had a different vibe than before. The Latin music was so very loud with the speakers placed right at the register. It was hard to hear anyone speak. There were two middle school aged kids running the register, poor kids going to go deaf before they reach high school. The food was horrible!!! The fried rice was just mushy white rice with soy sauce. The Egg Foo Young and gravy lacked flavor. My daughter said the Orange Chicken was disgusting and they forgot to give us an egg roll. Well, they can keep that egg roll. The food ended up in the trash. Waste of $32. Never again will I patronize this restaurant.

Food wasn’t so good the first time but they were kind enough to take it into consideration and they made me a fresh batch which was quite good.

Egg Foo Young was really dark and burnt on some bits. Gravy was bland. Mushrooms were crunchy in the Moo Goo Gai. Had a bad stomach reaction a couple of hours after eating the food.

I went to this restaurant to get a quick bite and my experience was wonderful. I ordered a combination fried rice and a soda on the side and it tasted magnificent!! The rice was not dry and was flavorful unlike what the other bad reviews said. Would totally recommend coming here again. 5 stars

Bought a sweet and sour chicken and def the worst chicken ever. The souse was deluded in water, and there was no flavor what so ever and the cheapen was a deep-fried chicken that was not even fresh. Really disappointed. One thing is for sure won’t be ordering from them again anytime soon.

This place was AWESOME! I ordered chicken veggie soup, shrimp egg foo young, singapore noodles,, kung pao chicken, and chicken soup. Everything was ordered to perfection, and the chicken and shrimp was tender. I got plenty of shrimp in my meals and it was hot when I got to my destination. BTW I got PLENTY of sauce too. So worth it, I enjoyed every bite! ;-)

Placed an order for delivery, paid for it and left a sizable tip. After almost 90 minutes and not receiving my order I called the restaurant. A lady said that they had been trying to contact me. I had received no calls. She said she needed my credit card number again and the food had not even been started! I had already received a confirmation number and if the credit card had been denied I would have received a notice from my bank. Chinese Express provided no customer contact with me whatsoever to say that there was a problem. I don’t know what kind of scam they are trying to run but she asked me for my credit card number again which I would not release to her over the phone. Very bad service.

Great Soup!

This restaurant is dirty. Prices are not reasonable. I ordered 2 orange chicken and two drinks for $31. I thought orange chicken was supposed to look like a golden color, what I got was a very dark brown color. Not appetizing at all. Waste of money. First and last time ordering from here.

We ordered a simple dinner . I got curry chicken It came as shrimp. And the curry sauce was soup. There was 3 shrimp in the dinner. Awful.

Unassuming little takeout place in the plaza. The owners are very nice. They have a lot of regulars from around the plaza.

Small but clean dining area. Reasonable pricing, food looked and tasted fresh. The location is more less set up for take out and delivery. Several tables, drinks are either bottled or canned. Other than water, no sugar free options, a few diet options, I do not like artificial sweeteners

The Shanghai noodles were the best! I had a many great traditional meals from this restaurant. How so you ask? Be reasonable and be friendly to the staff.

Ordered 30min before close on GrubHub, never received our food even though we called before close to check on it. I normally am really reasonable with the service industry since I've worked it for years but it's not cool to list yourself as available for delivery if you have no intention of delivering the food or contacting customers whatsoever. Whack.

I would not eat in again. Aside from being dated, they offered plastic Togo cups instead of regular glasses.

The husband seemed irritated that we wanted to eat in initially. Additionally, I asked for a modification to one dish and he told me to pick a different dish instead. It was an easy substitution (fried tofu instead of soft tofu).

The husband and wife talked or fought a lot while we were there. It was loud and interrupted our dining experience.

The wife was pleasant. I think we would have had a nicer experience if she was in the front and the husband stayed in the back of the restaurant, especially if they kept their loud conversations in the kitchen instead of in the dining room.

Ordered delivery. My husband ordered sushi - was given a very small amount to flavor it with. I ordered beef and onions. Not particularly good. Will not be ordering from them again. They get one star because of the fast delivery.

I ordered online via GrubHub at 9:12. At 9:30 I received a notification that my order was being processed by the restaurant with delivery at 10:15 to 10:25. At 10:35 I called the restaurant and they were already closed. Cancelled the order online. Very disappointing as this is the only place with Thai dishes near me that delivers. Don't bother.

Do not order from here unless you wanna wait for hours. We ordered food online for delivery. It said it would take about 40-45 minutes. After about an hour and a half we decided to call the restaurant.. It would ring and ring and ring, eventually going to voicemail. We couldn't cancel the order. And we tried calling several times. Finally after about 2.5 hours the delivery man shows up at the door. Food is not worth waiting 2.5 hours

First, it was off tona great start by trying to overcharge me $5 for my meal (take out). Second, the egg rolls seemed like they had been laying out for a few hours due to them being rubbery. Third, the meal was pretty bland, nothing that a beginner cook couldn't make at home. Wouldn't recommend this place for quality food.

Worst service I have ever encountered. I ordered delivery from this restaurant and paid in advance last week and they never made it or delivered the food, and closed without informing me. Then I tried again today and thought ordering earlier would solve any confusion, however they completely ignored my clear instructions to call instead of knock as I live with roommates and have dogs. Also, I had set delivery time for 7:15 because I was not home yet and they arrived before 7. I'm really disappointed. The food is fine but my worth this service.

This food is bomb. I always spend way too much here. But i cant help it. Their food is delicious. The same guy delivers our food every time. I think hes one of the owners. Hes cool. And remembers your face if your walking around town and run into him. Lol. Definately worth a try. Just dont blame me if you get hungry an hour later.

Spring rolls were burnt and very small (child-sized), but were adult-priced. Spicy tuna roll was the worst I've ever had. After eating the 3rd piece, it all came back up. I wasted $8.10. Don't waste your money.

Food was food but when we dined in service was kind of slow. Went by subway to get a cookie to eat which is next door while I waited because by the time my food came out I was starving.

Food is good, but they need to stick to a real schedule. There's been times I went there when it says they should be open on a Monday and they were closed with no explanation.

My order took 3 hours to come. The only upside to this was the driver. He is a genuine, kind soul. He came with a smile and I like that, but regardless, the order took 3 hours come.

The worst Chinese restaurant I have placed an order. I ordered Singapore noodles and it was extremely bad. It wasn't seasoned, no taste and the noodles was sticky and lumpy. Egg roll was greasy and oily. Driver delivered very late...the worse Chinese food I have ever eaten.

Looks like the place is closed down. Waiting for car at Tires Plus and decided to look for something to eat and doors are locked with lights off.

My favorite dish there is their orange chicken, the sauce is not thick but its consistent . They are respectful and seem to have a lot of experience.

Pretty average Chinese food, not the best, just a place to grab a quick kind-of-Chinese dish and go.
They take too much time to make the order, so I would recommend ordering at least 1 hour before. Food quality was good, staff very friendly.
