Low-key outpost serving modern Thai cuisine, including curries, seafood & vegetarian options.
Review from 11/24/23
We came as a relatively large group with extended family, and were seated quickly later at night.
For appetizers, we ordered the Crab Rangoon, Wonton Soup, Lemongrass Soup, Chive Cake, and Green Papaya Salad. The Crab Rangoons were fantastic - creamy and flavorful, with a solid, crunchy exterior and a sweet sauce that cut through the richness of the filling. The soups were fine. On the other hand, the Chive Cake was good, with a gooey interior and crispy outside paired with a salty sauce.
For the entrees, were ordered a beef fried rice which was good; a shrimp fried rice that had large shrimp; the drunken noodles with shrimp, which were slightly overcooked and a little mushy; and the panang curry with chicken which was the table favorite alongside the beef fried, being sweet, but flavorful and creamy, and perfect alongside the plain white rice.
The mango sticky rice was pretty bad, in all honesty - the rice a little too mushy and not particularly warm, and what seemed like canned mango which was pretty flavorless with a strange texture.
I really wish there was an option to give 4.5 stars. Had dinner with my friend here based on a recommendation and we quite enjoyed it!! The restaurant isn’t much of a looker, but the food is tasty and the servers were very friendly. The fried green beans were ultra crispy with plenty of sauce, although the sauce could have been more flavorful. The pad thai was a huge portion and had a very strong tamarind flavor, but it was tasty, although maybe lacking a bit in authenticity. Overall, decent Thai food and experience
Great service, great drinks, especially the basil lemon drop. Unfortunately, the chicken pad Thai was the worst I’ve ever had. After denying a box to go for my 1/4 eaten plate of pasta, I did inform the waitress that I didn’t care for this recipe at all. I told her it tasted like it was tomato based. She said that a lot of people don’t like their pad Thai and she thanked me for my comment. Still searching for good pad Thai.
I'm going to say overall, I really enjoyed the food. I ordered the red curry with tofu and modified the vegetables and it was very good. My go to place is Little Spice in Hanover and this is the dish I always get. Lemongrass too was comparable on the flavor BUT the portion was a lot smaller and the price was higher. But I enjoyed mine. The 2 people I was with didn't seem to like theirs as much. One had a salad with beef and the other chicken pad thai. I didn't try either, as I don't eat meat. We shared an appetizer, a crispy onion thing and it was good. The Thai iced tea was way too sweet for me. The service was good. Our guy was nice, answered a ton of questions, and let us take our time talking. We sat outside and it was nice. I'm definitely going back. I just wish it was a but more food for the price. I usually end up with leftovers at my other spot.
Food is ok. If you want the best Thai food within 30 miles go to Beau Thai. I've been to Thailand and Beau Thai's food is legit.
The reason for my review is that we spent $130 on DELIVERY for five entrees. They came and they were small! We planned to order 4 entrees and some appetizers but the available appetizers for delivery were different than what's on the delivery website they direct you to. I can concede perhaps they were sold out of those and that was why.
Not factored into my rating is that GrubHub actually left our food at our neighbors house and through the blurry photo we finally figured out which house it was left at.
I've had amazing Thai in Thailand and the US and this is not that. Plus the reduction in portion size from prior orders this is a no go for us.
Calling it mediocre would be an upgrade.
The staff here is the highlight. They are as attentive and nice as staff at any decent restaurant. So they shouldn’t suffer for the underinvestment in this establishment.
The restaurant itself has definitely seen better days. Booths are torn and generally beat up. It doesn’t look like a war zone, but it is definitely past its prime.
We were holding out hope for the food, as “Thai” doesn’t have to be expensive to be good. Sadly, it disappoints. We had the pad Thai and spring rolls. The spring rolls are pretty obviously NOT handmade at the restaurant- likely from the freezer at CostCo. The pad Thai was completely unremarkable - noodles that were somewhat oily and bland. On the plus side, there was a generous portion of the crabmeat on it, but it lacked any distinct flavor.
Next time I’ll just go to TGI Fridays.
We came with a large group and there were only a few other tables, but no one came over to take our drink order. After 10 minutes of politely waiting, we finally waved at the bartender and asked if they could send someone over. The food came out relatively quickly and everyone was happy with their dishes. We did try the sticky mango rice for dessert, but it was just "meh" It lacked the fresh brightness that we usually have with this dish. At the end, we again waited and waited, and ended up waving at the bartender again to get the check.
Best Thai around

Food is surprisingly good here in this strip mall style restaurant. A little hard to find way in the back and to the right.
Drunken Noodles with beef & extra spicy was perfect
Great food, amazing happy hour, and service was great!
We have tried ordering online through grubhub and seamless three times in the past few minths and every time the order is wrong. Disappointing.
Food is always delicious and service is good.
My favorite food restaurant of all time no exaggeration. I’m a regular there, would highly recommend the Tom Ka, Drunkin Noodle, and Chive Cakes. Thank you for your service lemongrass🫡
Nice staff, nice ambiance, quick service, and delicious food.
Mediocre food and overpriced. Peanut dressing was tasty.
Seafood salad was decent, but I was VERY disappointed with the Tom Yum soup. Didn’t even taste like Tom Yum at all— just an odd, kinda salty broth, and it was mostly filled with baby corn. Not sure what’s going on there.

This restaurant has just very strange tasting food. We ordered the shrimp pad thai, crab pad thai and shrimp fried rice and all of it was gross. The pad thai was super sweet and just felt like I was eating a pound of pure sugar with no other flavor and the fried rice was absolutely bland. We told the waiter several times and he didn’t even offer to have something else made and finally just brought the check. Such a disappointment overall. I would really recommend any other place but here for Thai food. Definitely doesn’t taste authentic.
We were hoping to make this our regular hang out place for Thai cuisine but unfortunately I am writing this review. Very disappointed by the food served to us. We went there based on the reviews but had a terrible experience.
I typically do not write reviews unless something is terribly wrong with the food. This was our first and the last time and not recommending to anyone. After ordering 3 items, we decided not to order anything at this place and leave without mentioning it to the manager since we were with our little one's. Though the staff was courteous. Here are the details of the food served to us.
Chicken lettuce wrap - they served us the smallest sized wilted romaine lettuce leaves with the chicken. Chicken was sour and watery.
Vegetable Dumplings - Burnt, small and they forgot to season it with the salt. No salt at all.
Drunken noodles - Entree, the quantity served for a $16.95 was less than a bowl of chipotle, 5 thinly sliced pieces of chicken with clumpy flat noodles. And yes there was this bad smell in the chicken.
Both the food and the service are great. I highly recommend!
Drove 35 minutes to get there from my house and your hours are false on your site. Thanks a bunch for the inconvenience.
This is officially my favorite Thai restaurant. The casual but elegant atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff were doubly so. We had a shared appetizer of crab Rangoon. It was the best I’ve ever had. I had the pad see lew with shrimp. Amazing. My friends had two different curries and they loved their meals too. Save room for perfect mango sticky rice. I cannot wait to return.
Love...love....love. Their food is so delicious. The appetizer green beans are perfect with a hint of spiciness. Any curry dish is perfect. I typically get the Panang Curry. And their Pad Thai is great along with Drunken Noodles.
Best food
Had not been here for several years. My mistake. Will certainly plan to return soon. Had my first glass of Thai Iced Tea....so, so sweet but delicious!!!
A little disappointed by the taste of the food. We ordered chicken fried rice and chicken pad thai. Great service though!
Excellent Thai food.
Very friendly staff. Quick, kind, and personable service. Really good food. (At least what we ordered) Nice inside and out for seating. Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely be returning.
I like the food here.
A PBJ is best with both peanut butter & jelly. Perhaps you would agree. Baked potato with no Sour Cream or Butter?
Do I drive from Oxford, Md to L-grass Too specifically for Duck Curry. 2 Dinner orders at 18.00 per. In other words, no skimping. We wanted the Big Boy.
As I was exiting my car at 11:45AM I see the Thai Supply Delivery in a hurry. Upon sitting down for this delicacy, no cherry tomatoes? No pineapple. And about as much Duck as a Duck Wing.
Do I/we deserve better? We deserve to be informed honestly & forthrightly regarding all ingredients. 10 year Customer. Just be honest. Not a big ask
CaptJB
The taste is too salty and the lunch price does not match the menu.
We used to love this place, but haven’t had the best food our last few visits. Last night we ordered carry out and the Pineapple Fried Rice was burnt. The rice was actually crunchy with a bad taste. No one finished the dish and sadly, it ended up in the garbage. It was so very disappointing. The price definitely did not reflect the quality. We will be taking a break from what used to be a favorite.
Over priced and slow
Came here for takeout for the first time and it was just straight up not good. I got cashew chicken and it was bizarre. There was breading on the chicken but something was up with the sauce and it congealed really quickly. Trying to separate it caused the breading to peel off the chicken and then the chicken was also weirdly chewy. I could only eat half before throwing it away. Really disappointed. Service was good but food was a complete miss.
Great place for a quick lunch! I like this location for a work lunch because the service is fast and there is always a seat. Parking is also super easy which is a plus.
The customer service was fantastic. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. The Cashew Chicken was great and so were the crispy green beans. First time visiting and will certainly let others know how good this location is.
It takes some finesse to make drunken noodles that are chewy and crispy at the same time, but they pull it off here very nicely. Four stars because they need more veggies in the drunken noodles however. A classic Thai place that I highly recommend.
One of our go to places in Annapolis, never crowded, good service, and good food.
Great food!
Very good food. Good service.
Great menu offerings and prompt friendly service. All three diners had vegetarian dishes. It is easy getting nonmeat things in a place like this since they cook with lots of fresh vegetables and Tofu. Any of their things can be modified to fit anyone’s wishes. This restaurant deserves to be revisited in the future.
I have never been treated this poorly in my life. I went there for dinner @ 5:00 Wed.. The Mgr was so rude to me I will never return. It was totally unwarranted. I was so disappointed because I loved this restaurant. I would like the owner to know because this person is a detriment to his business & she should be held accountable.
Excellent food and great service!
Always good food and service
Very tasty green curry and very friendly service professionals. I ate out on the patio and it was quite nice since it's at the end of the strip mall. I'll go back.
You are a SERVICE. Food is good but your attitude is bad. Stood there picking up an order that she couldn’t find. Accused of wrong location, told to recite order. Had to call my buddies who placed the order.. etc. I was fine and calm through this. When someone else came and “found” the order. Not even an apology. Have we lost all civility or am I the jerk. “Sorry about that” would have been absolutely acceptable. Get halfway down road and the soups are spilling. They were stacked and lid was not secure. Couldn’t believe it. They weren’t even that buddy. Won’t order from here again. So rude and inept. Bad combo
One of my favorites in all of Annapolis. I do love the original location down town a bit better BUT this is sometimes easier for me to get in when running into town.
Great food with great service.
Good food
Very good food and good service.
Great place, small but not cramped and featured excellent Thai food. My friend had the chicken Pad Thai and I had the pepper beef, both were generous sizes and the tastes were excellent. Wait staff did a great job ensuring we had what we needed without coming across as overbearing. The cost was very reasonable and we enjoyed the entire experience. Would go back to try something new on the menu.
Correction.. Today 2022. Even though I was hung up on I did receive a corrected order 1.5 hrs later from a different location. Thank you for correcting the mistake.
The taste of fried-rice was just plain compared to usual thai food. The Tom Yum was dominantly sour. None of waitress’ came to check if the food was good, I hope someone came to give us more salt and spicy ingredients. After about 10 minutes, I must come to someone and let them know that we are ready to order.
Every dish was entirely too sweet. Really the worst Thai food I have ever eaten. The dishes lacked fresh herbs and were devoid of the complexity of sweet, tart, hot and herbal elements that makes Thai food so delicious. Really disappointing.
I thought I would I try this place again because I was nearby shopping at Best Buy. The first time was pretty bad but understood it might have been a fluke. I tried again almost year later and the food was even worse.
Both times I asked for 2 Thai spicy dishes and 1 mild dish. There was no hint of spice in any of dishes. Absolutely none.
Besides not having any level of spice, my food was cold. I ordered takeout at the cash register and went immediately home (6 minutes) from receiving.
Skip this place and go to Carlson's Donuts & Thai Kitchen. They don’t have dining but there take out is awesome and they are consistent. I will never do Lemon Grass Too again.
Good place to eat, very easy on the wallet. And get the string beans!!!!
Lemongrass Too has been our go-to Thai restaurant for years. Consistently good food. We love the Pad See Ew and the Drunken Noodles. They know how to make a proper Thai iced tea as well.
Great food and atmosphere
Got take out. Very good chicken fried rice and spring roll.
Awful food. Tried Khao Soi- was like drinking spiced coconut milk- not at all what Khao Soi should be like. Try Chiang Mai cookhouse for authentic Khao Soi...
Always have a decent meal.
Very pricy for Thai.
Pad Thai was ok
Pinneaple fried rice was not ok, with questionable freshness of the Shrimp.
Mango Sticky rice was old and just one slob mass of glutentenyn rice. Disgusting....
Their pricing is just ridiculous for a local Thai. We will avoid this place
Pretty good Thai food for the area
Service was fast. The Thai Iced Tea was just the way I like it.
Great food with great service all the time ! Definitely a place to bring out of town guests!
Every Thai restaurant I visit I get the Pad Kra Pao... Tha Basil Chicken. At Lemongrass Too it was made with bite sized chunks of chicken cooked perfectly and the plenty of basil but not over done. Delicious.
Got introduce to Lemongrass Too by my little bro D. All i can say is a definite go to place small outside dinning, service was grade A. The staff was attentive as a first time going the lady explained in detail so again a great place. Food AMAZING the cruchy asparagus on point
I love thai food and the drinks were excellent
Always as expected...yummy!
Love both locations in Annapolis. Delicious food, cocktails and wonderful customer service.
We have loved this location for years, but haven't dined there in a long while. I got takeout last last night and our fave dishes were exactly the same--stellar! Pick up was quick with plenty of social distancing.
One of my favorite restaurants, a must try! The owner is very friendly. The green curry, lettuce wraps, chicken satay, tom ka, and duck salad are my favorites.
Very small Thai food place, but the food is great. The vegetables are always perfectly cooked. And my husband loves the drunken noodles.
One of establishments in this local chain, the food here is good but not authentic Thai. Although the flavours are intense, most dishes tend to be way too saucy and sweet. Protein portions are decent, but vegetable choices are limited. For example, a lot of dishes have large chunky slices of bell pepper that are barely cooked, indicating most entree ingredients are pre-cooked and barely warmed with the appropriated sauce. Basil dishes do come with a nice amount of flash-fried basil leafs though.
The atmosphere is nice enough. Facility is clean and modern, with a large outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice. Staff is very friendly and provides good service. We haven't spoken to a Thai person on any of our visits however, which may go back to the lack of authenticity.
Overall, not a bad place if you are looking for a solid Thai-style meal.
The food was good but not terrific. Service was pretty good. I would go back.
Solid. Great happy hour prices. Loved the satay and panang. Could be spicier but I have tolerance.
Thanks to Door Dash, our food arrived 40 minutes late and cold. Food was way overpriced and only okay to eat. Not pleased at all with our experience.
Ordered the Masaman Curry, a Monument beer and chicken satay. I enjoyed it a lot! Okay service, table was slightly sticky but the food was stellar. Would definitely eat here again.
Being a great fan of Lemongrass, I was disappointed by the subpar service tonight at the Housley Lemongrass Too location. Matter of fact, I have yet to be greeted. Sat there, sat there and sat there. Not once did the wait staff acknowledge me. All the while the person to my left and right were served and were attended to more than once. Lemongrass team ... It’s simple treat others the way you’d want to be treated. Be Better, Do Better!
Good portions and the price was reasonable but I wasn't blown away by the flavors. A little bit bland. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.
Speedy service and tasty food - definitely recommend!
Generally, a lackluster dining experience. The Pad Thai was boring and generally flavorless: it had no spice, and except for a few green onions, no vegetables. The Drunken Noodles were passable, but not great.
Service, for a party of two, was incredibly slow--over 30 minutes from ordering to service (and only after prompting the busser, since vour waiter never checked on us). I highly doubt I'd go here again.
Great service. Great food.
Soft drinks always flat, nothing at all special about this place.
What a rip off. Ordered three meals over $50. Drunken noodles had two slices of tomato and maybe three pieces of pepper, noodles were stuck together and mushy. Kaw pa maybe had three slices of peppers. Vegetables are cheap add some veggies to make the meal more filling..
This place definitely not worth the money.
Not a fan.
Between the manager and the staff, they can’t figure out what’s vegan. Said the sauce was vegan, and then said it wasn’t. Sad when no one knows what’s in the food. Will not be returning and would not recommend.
My favorite place for a work lunch.
Cool bar wit great food
Absolutely fantastic.
Nice atmosphere, good service but not 100% authentic. Some similarities without a few significant details. Portions are good and options are very good. Definitely still a favorite in the area.
It was bad. My wife broke out in a terrible rash on her face and stomach after eating there. Will not return. Not fresh as Thai food should be.
Quiet, assuming location but great Thai food.
Always a great place to eat.
Tasty food. The drunken’ noodle is to die for.
Not even close to being Asian food. The summer roll is nothing but lettuce and rice paper. The dumplings is frozen store bought and reheat to serves. Yuck!
on our way back from the beach I didn’t want to have regular fast food and I figured, you can’t go wrong with Thai. Good god was I wrong! We ordered chicken fried rice and the lettuce wraps. The chicken fried rice was THE BLANDEST thing I have ever eaten. There was absolutely no flavor, not even salt. It looked like someone put white rice in a pan, cut up some onions and green onions, a piece of tomato and then threw some chicken in there (also very white in color) and they forgot all of the typical flavorful flavors that are typical of Thai establishments. If we weren’t just passing through the area I would have returned this garbage I just spent $21.00 on. Disgusting.
My favorite Thai place!
The food is always fresh and good.
I LOVE THE PA RAM JAE AND THAI TEA
Picked up carryout. Very Fast
Excellent shrimp tempura!
Good food
Good fresh food and patient staff.
Really spectacular food. Good service. My family is hooked.
Very mild testing food. Good people working there!
Love the Satay. Not a big fan of the Pad Thai.
I have tried the West St branch and was pretty impressed thought of trying Housley Rd. A Horrible decision I have made which ruined my Saturday dinner and have to cook again at home.
Took a take-out: Green Curry, Red Curry and Pad Thai (kids, for my son). Looks like the cook poured all his sugar in my dinner, it was much-much sweeter than a cake. If the restaurant gives a lame reason that its Saturday evening and they were too busy (sometimes mistake happen) , then I would at least say “that’s your job, if you know the mistake try to fix it” not to sell bad food to save money. Fire the cook.
A great little, intimate Thai restaurant. Love their soups with coconut milk. Everything is well prepared.
What a superb place! Even though it’s small, the decor livens up the place along with the many people who venture out to enjoy the cuisine.
If it was not enough that the staff was on top of the service, the cooks really knock it out of the park with each dish.
If you are in the area, stop on by for a tempura shrimp, or a drunken noodles. Either way, you will not be disappointed.
Very good food.
Great food
Inconsistent quality, but it's mostly good most of the time. Not sure what they do differently, but the crispy green beans used to be a lot better. I don't think I'll be ordering those anymore unless they go back to their old recipe and cooking method.
Great service, but found out I don't like Thai food, so I cant comment on taste. My family liked it though, so it's probably good. Great staff though!
Good food but spendy.
Pad Thai had an off smell and taste- not the correct flavors. My son tried some and would not even eat it- said it smelled like dog food ☹️
This place is just okay. It's better on some dishes than other. The ka pow and egg plant are usually good, but it's spotty. You never know know how tender the meat, how many vegetables or how well cooked, etc. The worst unknown is how it's going tu be seasoned. Do you order it extra spicy or spicy?
Fantastic, fresh Thai food. The hours are a bit strange...the lunch and dinner hours are distinct. Always a pleasure. And 8f you have never eaten Thai before. Go for it. Light, flavorful, healthy comfort food.
Great Thai food, nice and spicey and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very nice.
Very good time was had by all. I had the Tom Yum soup and the drunken noodles.
Great food..nice staff...
