Went Thursday night, ordered crab rangoons along with the crab fried rice with shrimps, delicious and piping hot. The building is pretty inside and out, clean too. Our table's server was 11/10 and very funny. Loved his service and jokes, made it more memorable. Would definitely go here again and hopefully have the same server😂.
Me an my daughter stopped here for lunch and I loved the cute environment and quick service. I had the drunken noodles. It’s different as it comes with ground beef and spaghetti type noodles but it was tasty. My daughter had the kids chicken with noodles which were just noodles no sauce or anything on them. But I enjoyed it.
This is by far the best place to eat Thai food overall. I’ve been all over eating Thai food in NOLA and surrounding areas and this takes my trophy. 🏆 I come here at least 2-3 times a week and Preston is the man! Food is always delicious and consistent. Thanks ! Pad Thai, coconut shrimp, chicken sticks and so much more on the menu is amazing.
Thai Djing is a gem of the Westbank! The food is delicious and the service is outstanding! We ate here for my mother's birthday, and it was an incredible experience! We particularly enjoyed the potato soup, pad thai, and creme brule! Jeerasak and his team did an amazing job making my mom feel special on her birthday and making sure that we all had a great meal! This is some of the best Thai food you will ever eat- the menu is fresh, fun, and imaginative! Check them out!
an amazing first time here! party of 7, we were well attended to and everything came out hot and absolutely delicious! the house margarita was a big hit. beautiful setting, ample parking out back. will visit again and again!
Small servings for average taste. If you want to feel full and get your money’s worth plus delicious food, find other places. Paid $10 for 2 tiny “stuffed” wings appetizers.
Food is awesome. I had the Chicken Drunken Noodles cooked at Thai Spice Level and we also ordered Chicken Pad Thai medium spice. Both were great!
I was not impressed with the food. We ordered the drunken noodles, khao soy, and chicken satay. The chicken satay was flavorful and I enjoyed the sauce although it was runny. The khao soy was not filling and had few pieces of chicken in it for $15. My drunken noodles were super greasy from the ground beef and was mainly beef and oily noodles($20). There were hardly any bell peppers and regular onions. Service was alright, our server checked on us after the food was brought out and refilled waters. When we paid, my boyfriend accidentally hit 25% automatic tip option instead of 18%. When he told the servers (there were 3 sitting/talking), they told him they couldn’t do anything about it.
I’m thinking they could have at least voided the whole transaction and re-rang us up but whatever. I don’t think the food was worth the price we paid.

The food was absolutely delicious. GET THE DRUNKEN NOODLES. The service was excellent, good pour on the drinks high-end atmosphere with a touch of elegance but relaxing and prices are on point.
Best Thai food around. Pad Thai is to die for. Thanks

Excellent pad Thai!!!!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
I had an amazing experience at Thai D Jing, which was recommended by our Uber driver. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, and we were greeted warmly upon arrival. Jake, our server, was fantastic and very attentive throughout our meal. The food was incredible, and I especially loved the green curry dumplings—delicious! I highly recommend this place for great food and excellent service.
Great food and great service. A must stop if in the area!
Really great Thai food! Elevated versions of Thai classics in a casual but really nice setting with great ambiance. Homemade crab rangoon made with real crab was great. Pad see ew with homemade square noodles was really good, not oily but lots of sauce and flavor. Just note they are square noodles but they are delicious. Pad thai great but be sure to note zero spice if you are sensitive. Homemade dairy free coconut ice cream was delicious! I wish they had dairy free thai tea but loved the ice cream. Service was a little slow because only one person was working but definitely not bad. Prices were great and it was one of my favorite Thai meals in a while!
I eat here pretty often. Never had a bad experience. Nice little spot
Great flavors but very stingy on portions. My stir fried eggplant only had one piece of crispy chicken cut into a few pieces with very little veggies. The white rice on the side was stale, hard, old, and cold. The green curry soup was mostly broth with a few pieces of veggies. Never again!

It’s different as it comes with ground beef and spaghetti type noodles but it was tasty. My daughter had the kids chicken with noodles which were just noodles no sauce or anything on them. I loved going here for the drunken noodles, not anymore.. They changed the recipe and use the thicker noodles. Why change something that wasn't broke. Very disappointed, won't be back.
The drunken noodles, used to be thin noodles and it wasn't the same flavor. I did mention it to our waiter and he said some things have changed. My son and his girlfriend went earlier the same day and said the something. We always get the same thing when we go.
Probably the most truly awful Thai food I’ve ever had. I sincerely regret spending my money here. Try Banana Blossom.
Stopped here for lunch today after being here previously and enjoying it. Ordered edamame, calamari, fried jalepenos, pad Thai, drunken noodles, and khao soi noodles. Everything was great except for the khao soi noodles. The menu put that it came with ramen noodles but it actually came with pasta noodles. Like a thin fettuccine. This dish is commonly served with egg noodles but I figured ramen noodles would also be good. But that wasn’t the case. It came with pasta noodles that didn’t soak up the broth right. I ended up returning the dish and decided to order the pad Thai. At the end, the khao soi was still on the check and the owner refused to take it off. The server was uncomfortable as I would be too when relaying the message that they were not going to take it off the bill because it was already made. By that time the server has long taken the dish, so I had to pay for a dish I did not eat and was not told that would be the case. If I knew I was going to be paying for it anyways, I would’ve just taken it home for someone else.
Unprofessional way of handeling their restaurant and its customers. Will not return.
Food, customer service, and the environment were all on point! definitely a good duck off restaurant for a romantic date or solo trip. either way if you want good thai food this is a great place.
Best Thai food in town. !!!!!! 🥰😃👍
Amazing little place!
Worth it every thing was fresh and really tasty. It takes a little bit to get your food, otherwise hands down best place to eat
Amazing food and service
Great food. Pad thai was well seasoned. Service was excellent as they got slammed they still made us feel like we were high priority.
I’ve been coming here once a week for the last year and a half. The food is without a doubt the best, most authentic Thai food in the GNO area. I never miss my once a week fix. Reasonable priced, pictures of everything on the menu, $5 glasses of wine, and a really nice atmosphere. You don’t know what you’re missing if you haven’t been!! Owner is really sweet too.
There are better Thai restaurants. The menu was small and predictable. The food was adequate.
Of course it's very hard to judge spiciness levels, but we asked for medium-spicy dishes and got what we both thought was extremely mild.
Fantastic little happy hour spot !
Service was super, food was fantastic, very good atmosphere and everyone was very friendly- yes we loved it ❤️❤️❤️
Delicious 😋
I anticipate the days when their food truck is at my hospital! The flavor is out of this world. I fell so hard for their food I have since looked them up on social media and found out their have a brick and mortar! They grow their own fresh herbs and vegetables. I can't wait to find time to visit their restaurant! The drunk noodles are what I cannot get enough of. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
very quaint restaurant with amazing food and amazing service.
One of the best mojitos I have had in a while.
IF it was possible to give LESS than one (1) star, I MOST certainly would. My family & I were seated (party of 4). Mason, brought the water to the table & no one EVER returned. Another four top table was seated AFTER we arrived and the waitress ran to service them. After getting her attention, we were able to place an appetizer & drink order. The waitress came back, seven (7) minutes later & stated, "We are out of the shrimp onion rings for the day." That was understandable, considering they were busy & under staffed. Ten minutes after that, a table of about, 10, walked in & was seated. Five minutes after that, the waitress came back to our table and stated, "The owner said because we are so busy and under staffed we can't make any mixed drinks." We were totally puzzled, due to the fact, that both tables that walked in after us, ordered, and were served mixed drinks. My family and I have patronized this business since it was a food truck at the Gretna Farmer's Market on Saturdays, just to give an idea of the quality of service that we are used to and expect. Now, might I add, my family and I were THE only black customers during this encounter. My suggestion... IF you look like me, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT waste your time, energy, and money at this establishment.
Lovely and yummy Thai place. Been eating their food for years, from when they were food truck only (pad thai!), to their brick and mortar location for the khao soi soup. Can't recommend them enough. Full of flavor, generous portions, and excellent service. Can't recommend them enough.
Food is always great. Service was excellent. Wait staff is always friendly.
I was recently introduced to Thai food and this is the place my friend recommended! Wow! I have a new place to go for fresh@ savory, and delicious Thai prepared to perfection! Enjoy!
The food is always delicious and staff always friendly and attentive.
This is one of the best Thai places in the greater New Orleans area. The steak on any dish is already perfect. I’ve been to almost all of the Thai restaurants on the Eastbank and the Westbank and this place have the best beef hands down! The spicy level is kinda weak so I always get Thai Spicy. Otherwise a great pick!
Food is delicious & freshly made.
I ordered the chicken fried rice medium heat , roti appetizer & coconut ice cream.
Loved everything.

Cozy spot, delicious food, and great service.
Great place nice staff but food was much better last time I was here. The chicken had an unfreash taste, everything else was good. I may or may not give it another shot.
Excellent service and food was great
First time. What I ordered was awesome. Will go back.
Amazing place with amazing owners and staff. Thank you all for going above and beyond when we showed up. Food was fire. So delicious and fresh. Definitely a must stop in NOLA
We Started to frequent them when they were still in a food truck & once they opened up a restaurant we were so happy!! It's a hidden gem on the westbank that has 1. Great parking. 2. Friendly service. 3. Delicious food! Flavors & smells are always consistently good, here's a look at their Khao Soi & Pad Thai! Definitely recommend both!
@phidingthefam
Great dinner! Food came out fast and hot, place is cute and clean.
Love the Thai food here!!
I have no idea what the bad reviews are about! We ate here Everyday during Gretna Fest. In my Opinion, serving hot food made to order one serving at a time would be incredibly hard to be great and consistent in that environment. The Pad Thai was delicious and we talked with many other people at the festival that felt the same way! WONDERFUL food - fast service for cooked to order on the spot in the street! We are planning a trip back to Gretna just to go for lunch (From Mandeville) next Saturday! A MUST!
Great service & food. Good comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be back
Tasty and fresh food, great drinks and service.
I brought my Gunny Sgt here to expose him to one of the best soups in the city......and if you don't know it's the Green Curry soup. Had it for the first time at the Southeastern Asian Foodie Fest a few years ago. My cousin got me an order of the soup but didn't tell me what it was or where it came from. I was damn near a divine culinary experience. Tried to figure out how to make it. Came up with some good food but the soup eluded me until Thai D'Jing opened up and I went there and found it. It was suggested to me and I when I tried it I was divine. I came back three times the first month they were open. My Gunny came there and we requested it a little spicy and with shrimp and an order of the Shrimp and Cheese rolls. He was hooked. He said it slapped so hard. We will be going back some time soon.
This place is amazing 👏 the food is fantastic and the cocktails are delicious and so special 😋 many vegan options that we enjoyed!
Good food at a good price!
Food and service were great love this place have sent at least five people there to try menu has expanded. More great food.
Great food, great staff & great atmosphere. Everything I’ve eaten here is delicious! I hope to eventually try all the dishes in their menu.
Tom yum very fresh tasting with just the right amount of spice, pad thai was really good too.
So good! We tried a few things but the potato soup was probably my favorite!
Tasty Thai food 😋
Worst Thai food I've ever had. It surprised me because it had been recommended to me by someone. Maybe they were having a bad night. The Pad See Ew came with all of the noodles rolled up in tight rolls, rather than as long noddles. See picture below. The Pad Thai was so over-cooked it was a gelatinous block. And the Stir Fry Cashew nut was a very small portion of cooked bell peppers and green onions in a tasteless sauce, no cashew nuts . I would have taken it all back for a refund had it not been so far away. We won't be going back.
In response to restaurant response: I have eaten Thai food at many places and never had Pad See Ew noodles rolled up like this before. Rather than long, wide, flat noodles, they were thick, chewy sticks. Seems to defeat the purpose of having noodles.
Great food, good price. Loved these guys since they were just a food truck! Quick with to-go orders as well, a pleasant cafe-esque atmosphere with bar.
Nice setting. Friendly staff. Fantastic execution of thai classics.
I was in Gretna for work and was brought here by some co-workers that live nearby. The food was awesome! I will be sure to go back next time I'm in town.
Personally, one of my favorite areas to eat Pad Thai!
Wonderful experience!!! I definitely recommend.
good food
I love this place nice the food is great 😊
Nice place. Food isn’t bad at all, but it isn’t Thai food. It is Thai fusion at best.
Everything we tried was soo delicious. Definitely found my go-to place.
Delicious food, comfortable atmosphere, and a super nice staff willing to explain Thai dishes to newbies! Everything was cleaned and sanitized between customers too and all staff wore masks, if that's really important to you.
Excellent food with great service in a cozy atmosphere!! Check out the lunch specials…so yummy at a cheap price! It’s become my favorite Thai food restaurant in the city. You will get addicted too!
Service was great. Almost all of the servers had their masks on properly. Food was quite tasty. Eggplant appetizer was skimpy; 6 small pieces
Good food. Friendly staff
Great food great service!
EXCELLENT THAI FOOD WAITRESS WAS EXCELLENT AND I MET MS DEBBIE. TOOK LUNCH SPECIAL TO GO CONSISTED OF 2 WINGS SALAD AND BEEF POTATO SOUP. ALL 3 WERE EXCELLENT FIRST TIME EATING THAI FOOD I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK AGAIN AND I WANT TO TRY YOUR COCONUT ICE CREAM. I HAD NOT HAD SINCE MY AUNT DIED AND THAT WAS HER SPECIALTY. SEE YOU SOON. KENNY D OWL SCHURB.
Amazing food. We traveled from Missouri. Got into town late, about 8:30 and they welcomed us right in. The food was so delicious! Drinks were really tasty also. Great service. Thanks Thai D-Jing.
I miss the food truck. More food and better prices when they were a good truck. Dinner portions were so tiny!
Amazing food. The cashew chicken is wonderful. I have eaten here multiple times and the food is good, always consistent and the staff is extremely polite and friendly.
We just had an amazing day. The food was absolutely amazing. Great friendly service the chef suda and owner jurasik were amazing our wait staff and bartender and kitchen staff have a special welcoming vibe and were there for our every whim and request. And not to forget the manager Denise and charming husband Manuel were amazing planners for our birthday celebration. A MUST DINING EXPERIENCE. Share your special occasion with them, you won’t regret it! The specialty cake (OMG) prepared with love by the wonderful chef with a personal touch to enrich the memories that will last a lifetime. THANK YOU Thai D Jing for an amazing day!!! We will be back with many friends. 10 Stars. Thank you, City of Gretna for sharing your wonderful city with this gem!
Great Food and an awesome experience. My first time here and I was amazed at how fast the food came out. Everything had lots of flavor and was seasoned how you wanted (mild, medium, Thai hot). Would have been a 5 star easy but I didn't care for the tails on my shrimp (half had tails other half was de-shelled). Not a big deal but I just didn't want red curry on my fingers!!
That was a delicious dinner. Everything was perfect. Tasty and beautiful. The papaya salad is unique. I highly recommend it!
Beautiful place with a beautiful atmosphere. The food is GREAT. Didn’t know they had a actual restaurant until today, I had many Thai food cravings since CORONA nowhere satisfied me I kept saying “I want the food truck”. Now, I am satisfied.
The space is pretty, modern, and beautifully lit. I ordered the veggie egg rolls, Pad Woon Sen, and Mango Sticky Rice. The Egg rolls tasted delicious, and the sauces were amazing. Sadly the Pad Woon Sen was disrespectfully bland, and the noodles were over cooked, but after pouring the sauces from my veggie egg rolls over it, it tasted pretty good (not authentic, but tasty with the sauces). The mango sticky rice was okay, but the best part of it was the coconut ice cream! Without the ice cream, the mango sticky rice wouldn’t be as sweet. I probably won’t return for entrees, but I look forward to getting baked goods from this restaurant, and coconut ice cream (which I believe is made in house).
The Pad Thai was delicious. Gabby was so nice and did a great job serving. The dining area was clean and well arranged. I’m looking forward to trying something from the cocktail menu on my next visit.
I'm not an expert on thai food or anything but this place had the best pad thai I have ever had
Everything was absolutely delicious!
Great Thai in Gretna!
Wow all food are amazing, service was awesome, food serve hot and fresh,, food are made perfectly cooked,, my son always want the fried rice with crispy chicken.. every weekend , Thai caramel custard and green matcha was sooo good. Place so relaxing very clean , Thai djing are completely different from other Thai restaurants.. everyone welcome.. I love this place
Very good food and service, will recommend and be back!!!!
Did take out, but dang the food is excellent! Service and staff are awesome and on par with the greats in NOLa city proper.
Cute lil pink house in Old Gretna with off-street parking, excellent service and great food!
The food and staff are awesomely great
Not impressed! Food was only ok. I had the fried rice with shrimp. Was told I could add veggies "for a few dollars." What I got was tasteless veggiez added on top of the rice. It was comprised of 3 SMALL broccoli florets and 2 TINY pieces of cauliflower. It was steamed with NO seasoning. Appeared to be from a frozen package. I noticed on my receipt after returning to work that the extra veggies cost $3.95. I don't mind paying for extra veggies if they are not just 5 small pieces from a frozen package. Will NOT be going back. The other guests dining with me agreed that a return trip was not happening.
So far everything, I order was delicious. Great food.
Intimate restaurant with really great, friendly service and delicious Thai food! Was really surprised to find this place with my friends who frequent this establishment. It's definitely a stand out for the Westbank. The spicy wasn't horrifically spicy like some Thai places make their spice, so you can actually taste the other flavors. So keep that in mind because it's mild, medium or hot spicy options. I got hot and it was very tolerable, probably comparable to a low medium heat at most Thai places. Will definitely be back!
Great Place with Great Service. Everyone is really nice as well.
Great Drinks, Food and Service. Recommended by and friend and we will definitely be back. If you haven't tried this restaurant give them a try and post your experience. I doubt you will be disappointed.
Bright and cheery. Clean and comfy, Food was fabulous. Whole fried sea bass. 2 daily specials; shrimp roti and steak roti. Both came with salad and soup. I had the coconut curry soup and my companion had the potato soup. When the food came, we'd stopped talking. Enough said.
Such a great ambiance and the food was delicious! The stuffed chicken was great, as well as the green curry!
Great food, friendly service, and large portion sizes so you're likely to have delicious leftovers.
This place is sooo good! Ignore Tabii’s 1 star review. By looking at this person’s other reviews I see a trend with them....Giving the majority of the places they visit three stars or less. Maybe your server was scared to approach you since you were yelling.
The food here is so delicious, the service is always top notch & the place is very clean. The owners are very friendly and grateful. Do yourself a favor and check them out! Yum!
Food and service were amazing!
Excellent thai!
Great Thai food and wonderful staff!
The food is SOO good!
I was already a fan of the food truck. Tonight I tried their restaurant and the food and staff are great! I'll definitely be a regular.
Great food, great service, good all around.
Amazing food from one of my favorites food trucks. They opened about a month ago and I have been a couple of times now. Great service and atmosphere.
I have never been disappointed with anything I have ordered here. After being a customer of theirs for many years, while they served from a food truck, I am so glad to see their hard work has payed off. Opening their own restaurant is a testament to great food, great service and SUPER nice folks. If anyone gives them a bad review, that person is more than likely difficult to please and is only around to be negative.
The food truck got a brick and mortar location in Old Gretna. It's Covid, so make reservations or prepare for a wait. Service was friendly and attentive. The Chiang Mai noodles with tofu was the big hit at our table.
If you like thai food, or food in general, don't come here. Hardly anyone was wearing a mask while they WERENT EATING. Ordered thai coffee which was the only consumable thing. Ordered the Pad Thai and it tasted like nothing with a hint of sweet, with no spice level, looked like it was tomato based. It did NOT even taste like pad thai. Service was sub-par, we had to yell just to get the check, had to yell just to be heard.
I will never be going back and will actively telling people who like real asian food to go elsewhere.
