Until trying Sambath Donuts. Wow! Absolutely delicious. My husband picked it up so I can’t speak to the atmosphere but he said the woman working there was so kind to our son and offered him some donut holes. What a sweet gesture. We will be back whenever our Thai cravings hit, but do not sleep on this place.
Only con is they aren’t open for dinner! 10/10 recommend.

Sambath is hands down the BEST place to get a variety of AUTHENTIC Asian cuisine - Thai, Cambodian, Vietnamese! The owner is Cambodian and pours herself into her cooking. You can taste the pride and quality ingredients in her food! The Pad Kra Pao is superb and the breakfast is always fresh! If you’re still reading this, then please run (or call and place your order ahead of time) to Sambath!

A wonderful little shop right on Essen Lane. The owner is amazingly kind, the pastries are delicious and fresh, and the prices are good. Also, they have breakfast foods and serve lunch orders of Chinese, Thai, and Cambodian dishes. This was our first visit but we will definitely be back!

Now, I have had a lot of experience with donuts and pastries... The best apple fritter I've ever had, the best boudin kolache I've ever had (She told me she makes the boudin herself- Cajun stamp of approval on that) it's not like the most spicy boudin but it is delicious 🤤. Besides food, the service is wonderful, I feel like I've been cared for rather than just served. My new cheat day spot for sure!! Can't wait to come try their Asian lunch foods!!

I’ve ordered the Beef/Chicken Pad See Ew for the first time here after just having a craving for Thai Food. I came here after remembering a food review and heard they had amazing options. And yes, this place did NOT disappoint. Beyond solid food and amazing service given.

This was my first time having Thai food and it was great! Highly recommend the Mango Salad for those hot days, so light and refreshing. The owner was very nice and cooked the food to order herself. Will definitely be back with friends and family to try the breakfast options and more authentic Thai food.

Hey Sambath I stopped by there this morning and got three donuts and one milk, donuts were great, just wanted to let you know to check you cooler where you keep the milk, the milk was very warm and sour, just for your regular customers, I'm from Gonzales and had a doctors appointment is the reason I didn't go back.

Terrible customer service!
This morning, I ordered two breakfast sandwiches over the phone and was told it'd be ten minutes. I waited ten minutes, walked over, and the sandwiches weren't made at all. The boy behind the counter had completely forgotten. I said I'd wait another ten minutes and come back, because I very much wanted breakfast, and when I came back, the sandwiches still WERE NOT MADE. he said he thought i'd changed my mind, when I clearly expressed that I'd be returning. worst customer service experience I've had in a looonggg time. And I was still charged for the two kolaches I settled for out of complete starvation.

5/5. Customer service was amazing and the donuts are even better. I got the sausage egg and cheese on a croissant and a couple of donuts. It was delicious

Noticed this place a few days ago and figured that I like Thai food and donuts so I would give it a try. It was amazing. The food is so flavorful and perfectly balanced. My party had pad Thai and lo mein and both were fantastic.

Truly a gem hidden in plain sight? I've had Pad Kra Pao, and chicken curry so far. Both were great. Got more on the list to try.

I was introduced to Sambath when I first visited BR and couldn’t believe how good these donuts were. Now that BR has become one of my favorite places, I never miss a chance to stop off and get a few (or a dozen for the family). These donuts are truly some of the best donuts I have had and I yes, I would put them head to head with Krispy Kreme.

They were closing at 2 but still let us order. The owner was so nice. We will definitely be visiting here again!!

Sambath has fantastic food and the people that work there are equally fantastic. The donuts are amazing and so is the Thai food. The Pad Thai is their most popular dish and for good reason. I also really love their Cambodian and Khmer dishes. No other restaurant in Baton Rouge offers theses dishes. I need to try them all!

Stopped by for a meeting with a friend for coffee and donuts. Had other lunch plans but after a friendly conversation with employees we decided to stay for lunch. Great decision!! I had Pad Thai for the first time. The food was great and the conversation and the staffs willingness to ensure our lunch was perfect was simply priceless. Sambath Kolaches are the best in Baton Rouge! Ya'll stop giving your money to Mary Lee for hot dogs wrapped in biscuit dough! Sambath's has the absolute best kolaches in Baton Rouge!! They make their kolache dough fresh from scratch on-site every day and the boudin is also made in-house! The cinnamon rolls and donuts are also delicious! I'm sure the lunch items are just as delicious. Definitely a culinary adventure!
