I would 100% recommend the beef jerky. It a bit pricey but they made it in house, perfectly season and packed a good amount of heat. Their Pho was okay, tasty but definitely on the sweeter side, a bit lacking toppings (both meat & mints) for the price point, and the broth was a bit weak in flavor. I could tell that wasn't their strongest item on the menu. Thai coffee was definitely too sweet for my taste.

I would recommend this place, and will try it again in the near future for other items on the menu.

I have to drive about 2 hours into Des Moines occasionally for work. One of the only things that make this bearable is this restaurant.

Was really looking forward to some pho after a chilly day outside. Worst pho broth Ive ever had. It was so disappointing and they barely put any meat for what you pay. SMH. Pho broth tasted like it was store-bought pre-packaged broth. Should not be called pho if that’s what they are serving.

Ordered via grubhub. Beef pho, beef pad thai, veg spring rolls.
For some reason, the pho was very light on meat- about a 1/4c raw, about 1/8c cooked 😖.
Pad thai was good, but light on the spice, i ordered a 3, 5 is hottest. It was more like a 1 😪
But the flavors of both were very good.
I ordered via grubhub- which was crazy expensive.
I would return to try other dishes, they have a great menu. I was very surprised to not see pad khi mao on the menu- as delicious, popular as pad thai.
The spring rolls were super, perfect.

What a joke!!! They say they are open until 8:30pm on Saturday’s, we arrive at 8pm. Open sign is on and everything. Doors locked and we can’t get in. We could have gone somewhere else, not to mention the waste driving out there!

Had the Pho, was quite tasty. Appetizer of the Sesame jerky was unique and very good, intended to take half home but couldn't resist and ate it all.

Guess they don’t want to make money, show up at 5:30pm on Saturday and the door is locked.

Had dinner with friends at Rolling Wok on Feb 28, 2023 and the food was OUTSTANDING! Plentiful portions and you can even customize how spicy you want your dish to be. This is my new favorite place!

This is the place! I can't wait to keep going back and try everything on their menu. Friendly staff. Fresh, quality, made to order real Recipes. It's not pre-frozen pre-battered thick sugary sauced junk. This is the real stuff.

Came here yesterday with 3 of my friends. I ordered a pibb Xtra that tasted like concentrated syrup. It had no carbonation. I orded the pho special and the broth tasted like chicken broth no flavor at all. We won't be coming back.

Fantastic Pad Thai

Ordered dinner for the family and missing sides and sauces. Extremely disappointed with service and quality. I called to share my feedback and was told I could get free rice next time which makes no sense - what will I eat the rice with?? Rude customer service and will not order from here ever again.

Terrible service!!! Waited over 30 minutes after our quoted time that we were told our Togo food would be done and still wasn’t ready.
When I came back in to get my food. Four tables came AFTER I placed my order inside the restaurant. They were all served their food, one was almost finished and one was checking out. My families food was still NOT finished. Asked to speak to the owner and she or he would not come speak to me. Very disappointing how my family was treated.

I've been a huge fan of the East side location for years. I was so glad to find the Grimes location near my work.
My favorite is the Panang Curry and this location made it perfectly!

I always love eating at Rolling Wok in Grimes. Food was delivered quickly and was hot and spicy.

My family will continue to diner here as our 1st option for Asian!

They asked me what spice level I wanted I had never heard of a spice levels for this dish, but I said mild, They gave me a dish so spicey I threw most of it away, Called them back and they told me about the star system and mild should have been one star, Too bad. The menu looked interesting but I will never go there again,

Clean restaurant, extremely attentive staff and you will immediately know that everything is made from scratch even before you taste it! You can see the fresh ingredients prepared by hand Instead of just heated up like so many other restaurants. Delicious Pho and great fried rice

Ordered delivery tonight for convenience. Missing a side and part of another dish. The stuff we ordered was so spicy, even though we ordered medium on one and mild on another, it was inedible. One star is too much. Wasted over $40 on this meal and nobody got a full belly. The kids didn't eat theirs because their rice was missing. We specifically ordered a rice dish because that's what my kids will eat. My wife ordered the lowest spice level but could not eat it because it was too spicy. I like a little spice so ordered a step above the lowest level but was WAY spicer than my wife's. I would not recommend. Spring rolls were bland with overly sweet sauce. Ordered for convenience but still had to cook to feed the family and wasted money on top. Extremely disappointed.

If you are GrubHub driver, they will ask you to wait in the parking and pick up through the drive through (only when they send a notification that your order is “ready for pickup”). Never answer there phones, the pho is very bland almost like water. The noodles are over cooked and the brisket is green. Not very good since the switch from sassy souks. Would not recommend.

Six of us went for lunch. One other customer. We ordered appetizers, arrived ok (some were cold). Ordered our food, two people NEVER got theirs. We ended up canceling their food as the rest of us were almost done. They did get more customers and served them food. Will not go back or recommend this place

I've been to this location when it was Sassy Souks. Since the switch I've been back twice. The last time I was there the service was very poor. They only made 2 of our 3 dishes. The pho lacked flavor and all my noodles were stuck together at the bottom of the bowl. Will probably go back one more time to see if it was just an off day. The sesame chicken was cooked well, but a bit bland and the same with the pot stickers

The place is nice and clean. The have a good menu, plenty of options. They also have a lunch menu, which is always a bonus. I had the lunch and that included a soup and a crab Rangoon with my main plate, which is plenty of food for a meal at a great price. The best part is that their red curry is really good! -i've been searching around DSM for good curry and this one is the closest I've gotten to finding the one. Definitely check this place out!
