First time here
Will definitely be back there

Diner Review №10

They have amazing gluten free options! And the gluten free dishes are marked right on the menu so there’s no confusion. I’ve had the pad thai and the Thai fried rice, which were both awesome.

Diner Review №11

We stayed at an AirBnB and the host left a menu for this place on the coffee table. TOTAL SCORE!!! We were in Dubuque for a wedding that started at 2pm. We needed to eat since the dinner wasn’t served at the wedding until 6, but we didn’t want to go out to eat and risk being late/messing up our makeup and clothes. We ordered food to go so we could eat while we were getting ready. OMG what a treasure!!! The owner of this place has a cool life story, too. Next time we’re in Dubuque we’ll eat inside the place but wow. The Lobster Rangoon was impressive and dare we say perfect. The Pad Thai was a pristine ratio of everything and the flavor was outstanding. The Pork Bao 🤤 had that insanely tasty combo of Chinese five spice and cilantro and expertly cooked meat. The dumplings were a spur of the moment purchase by my husband who picked up our food. They were plump, moist, (I knowwww that word is the worst but it works here) and chewy and crispy and divine. We felt really lucky to be staying so close to this place and to get to eat art! Can’t speak to the ambiance but the place was packed every time we walked by so it’s not a secret that it’s a must-eat.

Diner Review №12

A gem in Dubuque. One of the most flavorful Ramens I've ever had. Pho also fantastic. Mock duck Bao were incredible.

Diner Review №13

Friendly, welcoming space with excellent food. Love the location in a historic building...right next to an awesome microbrewery (Jubek's)! It's a great combination!

Loved the family atmosphere

My wife and I were visiting Dubuque and read the positive reviews and gave Oolong a try… it was excellent. We each ordered the Pad Thai and Spring rolls they delicious. The service was friendly and attentive and a simple, clean decor.

Diner Review №18

Great asian fusion food. Been there several times food is always good.

Diner Review №19

Diner Review №20

Dubuque's best Asian restaurant. Thai Basil stir fry with beef or shrimp is my order each time and it is always delicious. I get mine medium spicy and the many layers of flavor are amazing. Portions are generous and always provide leftovers. For appetizers i recommend the rangoons or spring rolls, really can't go wrong there. The pho is a great choice if you are wanting a filling soup type dish.

Diner Review №22

Great pho!
Miso ramen with pork belly was also delicious. Vietnamese coffee for dessert was a great pick.

Oolong Asian Cuisine: Where the pho warms your soul and the cozy vibes wrap you up like a giant noodle hug. In Dubuque, finding great pho can be a bit of a treasure hunt, but let me tell you, Oolong is the hidden gem you've been searching for.

Their pho? Absolutely slurptastic. The broth was like a warm, flavorful blanket for my taste buds, and the noodles were perfectly cooked, giving just the right amount of chewiness. Sure, I've had pho in other places that might rival it, but in Dubuque, this place takes the pho crown!

The staff here are as comforting as the soup, welcoming you with smiles and making sure you're as happy as a clam (or maybe a well-simmered beef bone?). The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for a chilly day when you just want to curl up with a big, steaming bowl of pho.

In short, Oolong Asian Cuisine delivers the goods. No regrets—just a full, happy belly. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Diner Review №30

Diner Review №31

Such a great option! The Ramen was really good! Service was. Excellent.

Diner Review №32

You will find a really good bowl of pho and some really hot chili sauce if you ask for it. The pho had a great broth and a nice selection of meats. The crab Rangoon were also very good. The Vietnamese iced tea was also on point. Definitely come here for some high-quality options! The only downside was they kept playing the same jazz piano track on repeat.

Diner Review №33

Really good experience at Oolong. Modern clean inside with really cool light fixtures. But the food is what it's all about. Limited menu with only 7 or 8 entrees but AMAZING flavors and large portions. We were all very pleased with our dishes.

Diner Review №34

The dumplings were amazing and reminded me of how my mom used to make them, however, I don’t know if we came at a bad time but our Ramen and Pho was under seasoned.

Diner Review №35

Amazing food and service!

Diner Review №36

Love Oolong! They have a delicious pork belly bao and the best Pad Thai in Dubuque! Great flavor in their dishes!

Diner Review №37

Stopped by for a quick bite while a day stay @ Dubuque, IA. It seems family-running business with very cute atmosphere, very courteous service, and decent Asian foods. I and my 17 years old son had Hong Kong style cha shu bun, scallop/shrimp/pork dumplings, pho, and miso ramen. My server, Wei Wei was very kind, pleasant and informative. Thanks!

Diner Review №39

End of summer weekend in town, had pad tai. It was so good we had it two times in a row! No leftovers..Also a must try are spring rolls, dumplings and lobster rangoons.
Fast service with a smile, bathrooms very clean.
We will be back!
Also stayed at H unit around the corner. Loved the lodging!

07/12/24:
Back again! In for a weekend visit and had dumplings and pad thai again with tofu..still AMAZING! 😋

Diner Review №40

Extremely excellent little spot. Pho, Ramen, Pad Thai, etc. I appreciate the menu having a dozen items done really well, instead of 50 items done mediocrely. Will absolutely be back my next time in Dubuque.

Diner Review №41

Tasty food. Relaxed atmosphere. Would be a good first date consideration .

Diner Review №42

My wife and I came for lunch around 1pm. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend the Thai lime iced tea. We shared the Bao (delicious steamed buns) and the teriyaki udon. Both were fantastic and the price was reasonable. Will absolutely be coming back.

Diner Review №43

Come for the Bao stay for the Dumplings!

Diner Review №44

Mmmm very tasty yummy soup. Yum yum yummm yummmmy yummmmmmmm. Delicious yummy soup so much soup I love it. I can’t stop ordering soup because of the delicious taste that it brings to my life. I would recommend soup.

Diner Review №45

Top notch pho and ramen that would fit in any large city whether it be Seattle, Vancouver, or San Francisco. This clearly is made by someone who cares to make it true to its form.

Oddly some of the best Thai food in the area. The Thai basil stir fry doesn't resemble any Pad Gra Pao but the flavors of chili, fish sauce and garlic are on point and with the spirit of the dish.

Diner Review №46

Diner Review №47

The pho was good, recommend their bao as well

Diner Review №48

I don't give 5 stars EVER! I was very happy with the whole experience at Oolong.

Diner Review №49

Quality, fresh, and tasty food, cute and clean interior, and kind and helpful service!

Diner Review №50

100% the best place to eat!

Diner Review №51

We were traveling from Colorado to Michigan, and stop here for lunch. I was impressed of this place. Pho Bo and pad tai are cooked according to original recipes, which is rare in usa in general. Very good atmosphere, nice and friendly waiter Samuel, very nice design of interior of restaurant. Next door is great Local brewery - Jubeck. Oolong restaurant allows beer to brought in. Parking is easily available in the street after 5pm free. 🆓 I would really recommend this place for my friends. 🩵

Diner Review №52

Excellent meals and always have my custom dinner prepared perfectly.

Diner Review №53

Diner Review №54

A good stop in downtown. Venue is intimate and casual at the same time. I was feeling a bit under the weather and the broth in their pho definitely helped. Yuge portion. I would say you can split a pho or miso. It’s a rather small menu, so I would trust whatever is on there. If I were local I’d come back to try their pad Thai.

Diner Review №55

It had been a REALLY long time since I was here last, maybe when they first opened?

I had only been visiting then, but have now moved closer in retirement.

At that time I had been impressed with the food.

Today, at lunch, not so much.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible, it was only and mostly mediocre.

And the price, nearly $30 for lunch including tip and no drink other than water, was borderline outrageous!

I ordered rangoons as an appetizer and Beef Pho for the meal.

The first thing the wait staff brought out with the glass of water was a small plate with exactly 4 slices of jalapenos, a sprig of basil with about 6 leaves, and a single wedge of lime that was so dry I probably could have propped open a door with it!

The most outstanding part of the meal was the lobster/crab rangoons. Nicely crisp and flavorful, but they had better be at 4 for $8.00!

The Beef Pho was a LOT of mediocre and was nearly bland.

The broth had no richness of beef flavor or color; it might even have been chicken broth it was so blah!

There was only the barest, practically subliminal hint of ginger, with no anise or cardamom that I could discern.

It smelled okay, with what appeared the perfect proportion of cilantro, green onion, and bean sprouts.

Of course, a pile of noodles and broth, because its Pho, but the quantity and quality of meat was VERY LOW!

The brisket looked and tasted like something they got at a sandwich deli counter, two very thin slices, and whatever 4-5 pieces of wiener sausage they cut up and put in WAS NOT beef! It tasted like old pork with freezer burn.

It was obvious that the meat HAD BEEN COOKED IN THE BROTH and very OVERCOOKED, instead of cut fresh with the boiling broth poured over it to cook it!

Absolutely could not be considered AUTHENTIC!

Also, I had a window seat, and I thought the condiments tray of hoisin/soy/sweet-sour (?) sauces sitting in direct sunlight might not really be a good idea to use, especially as they hadn't looked filled recently and were warm?

The interior of the restaurant is really quite nice, love the lights/shades, and overall it was clean, but the entry door glass had a lot of handprints on it, too many to have been created in the hour since they opened for the day, so not wiped down since the day before?

I did like that neither the wait person or cook appeared rushed, and seemed in a good mood, and the meal was delivered to the table in a reasonable amount of time.

However, the restaurant is downtown, its lunch time, and there were only eleven other people in it, for a place that can easily seat 36?

Of course, leftovers of Pho, and I wrestled with whether to take it home, finally deciding I could probably enhance it as a base for something better at home.

I received a to go container...without plasticware, without a napkin, without a bag to carry it?

Overall a very mediocre experience, Oolong Asian Cuisine REALLY needs to re-think their lunchtime approach, by cutting portion sizes and $ amounts in half for lunch they would probably make more money! Yes, they would be busier with twice the dishes to wash, but it would add value to their customer base.

Diner Review №56

Everything is 10/10!! I highly recommend the udon noodles!

Diner Review №57

accidentally spilled water all over myself and the staff was SO attentive and came to the rescue with a towel. i didn’t even care that i was soaking wet during my visit because the food was so incredibly good. all of the appetizers are 10000/10, staff are excellent, atmosphere is awesome. this place rocks.

Diner Review №67

We don't make it to Dubuque very often, but we always try to eat at Oolongs. We have never been disappointed with our choices. The Curry Fries! Pad Thai! Ramen! Dumplings (fried, pan-fried or steamed)! Our 3rd annual December trip was delicious yet again. Thank you for making good food and having great staff and owners.

Diner Review №68

Excellent food, excellent service. Very beautiful hole in the wall, had never heard of it as a Dubuque native. Would absolutely recommend, I can't wait to go back!

Diner Review №69

The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly! We ordered the crab rangoons and teriyaki tofu with udon noodles, which tasted so much better than what other places offer. The tofu bao buns were probably my favorite item though, very fresh and flavorful! Definitely want to come back!!

Diner Review №70

Delicious food, great service, relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back! The owner and staff seem like great people. Definitely a small business you should support! :)

Diner Review №71

The dumplings were really good, and the ramen looked promising but was really salty. It seemed like they put chicken ramen noodles (you know, the 10 cent packaged ones poor college kids live off of), in some miso broth and put traditional ramen toppings on it. My husband got the udon noodles and those were fine. I would go again to try some of the other things on the menu.

Diner Review №72

Whenever I get Maddie as a server she always remembers to get me an extra plate because I don’t eat the flimsy bits of the pork (in the ramen). I really appreciate the thought :’)

Also, the food here? Slaps in such a momentous manner. I constantly have a hankering for the ramen.

(P.S. Sorry I don’t drink the broth of the ramen. I swear I’m eating all the noodles and such but I’m not personally inclined to a powdery (?) broth. It’s just my own taste, not anybody’s fault.)

Diner Review №73

Great food .

Diner Review №74

Diner Review №75

Came here with my brother in law's family on their recommendation. Service was prompt and friendly and the food was plentiful and pretty good. The place was pretty empty at 7:15pm on a Friday night. Just our group and one other group of 6 to 8 so it wasn't too loud and was pretty pleasant.

I had their miso ramen which was mostly good. Their menma wasn't pickled and was pretty bland but the soup base was tasted though not miso - more of a chicken broth. Their pork belly was basically strips of bacon. The soy egg was good - tasty and perfectly cooked for ramen.

I'd probably try some of their other dishes next time I come to Dubuque and I hear their gyoza is pretty good too.

$192, including their included gratuity for parties greater than 6, for 8 of us with 2 girls sharing one ramen and a few drinks.

Diner Review №77

One of the best restaurants in town. Not sure how but this place continues to be a hidden gem. Make it your next stop!

Diner Review №78

Excellent food 😋

Diner Review №79

Delicious Bao buns!! And more. We came from out of town and all loved what we had. Generous portions, nice atmosphere with cute light fixtures and friendly service.

Will return next time I’m in the area!

Diner Review №80

The atmosphere was peaceful and tasteful. A lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal! The crab rangoons are the best I've had... And I've had a lot in my life! Treat yourself and visit this great restaurant!
Oh, and my 3 year old wanted to point out that they do not have urinals or a stool to stand on at the sink. He announced this by yelling it across the restaurant 🤦😆

Diner Review №81

We had a wonderful experience dining here! The food was amazing and the menu had a great variety of selections. The atmosphere was also great as the place was well decorated and very clean and tidy. I highly recommend the spring roll appetizer. I ordered it as my meal since I wanted something light, and they were the perfect choice.

Diner Review №82

Diner Review №83

What a kind staff! I love, love, spicy Pad Thai. This restaurant is seriously fantastic. The Thai Lime iced tea is so refreshing!

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

Great Sake flights, chill and cozy atmosphere with music and accessible from everywhere downtown.

Diner Review №86

I ordered my food and twenty minutes after the estimated time given its not here. I called the restaurant and it’s still sitting there. I am interested to see when it will arrive and how good it will be.

Diner Review №87

I was so excited to try this place...
My excitement turned to disappointment.
We ordered the Pad Thai, Pho, and Lobster Ragoons .
The Ragoons tasted fishy, which doesn't make sense to me..
The Pad Thai was bla as well as the Pho.
Maybe it was just an off day?
But any good restauran shouldn't have off days.
I'd like to try it again to be fair, I think🤔

Diner Review №88

The miso soup is not miso soup. It’s like they just cut up green onions in chicken broth and then the dumplings aren’t actually dumplings. They are just steamed potstickers. Those are not dumplings very disappointed. All that set aside the teriyaki stirfry udon was great. But would definitely not buy again for $19!!! Crazy it was not worth it.

Diner Review №89

I love this place and try to visit when I'm in town. Spicy is for real spicy, which is fantastic! The staff is great and the atmosphere is beautiful!

Diner Review №90

Very Yummy!!

Diner Review №91

Diner Review №92

Great Asian food. Excellent Pad Thai and dumplings. Also loved the spring rolls.

Diner Review №93

Had a decent lunch here today, choosing the Thai Basil Stir Fry (medium), some Spring Rolls, and an Iced Thai Lime Tea. I wasn't surprised to be asked if I was certain that I wanted 'medium' spiciness and if I had tried this before. I hadn't but I was in the mood for a little heat but wasn't sure what to expect... so I was a bit let down when the entree wasn't any hotter than the average medium salsa.

It was a little strange to be seated right next to one of the two couples present when much of the room was empty... and I was given far too much time to look over the menu before my order was taken, there simply isn't that many items on it and there weren't nearly enough people in the restaurant to merit the delay.

Worth checking out but maybe not if you are in a hurry.

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Would love to leave a good review and we were looking forward to lunch here, but after paying for parking and getting there before lunch closing time, we were turned away. Looks like a nice restaurant, but if you're within half an hour of closing time, I would call first before making the drive or paying for a parking space.

Diner Review №96

Literally the best rice pudding I have ever tried in my life. 🤤

Diner Review №97

Clean restaurant, friendly staff and great food.
As other reviews have stated.... the food is spicy. I typically order hot at places and like more heat. Ordered medium and it was hellahot and I liked it a lot. Not sure I could've handled the hot!

We have the lobster rangoon, spring rolls, and curry.

Everything was great. We got there before 5. Served immediately. It was an enjoyable experience.

Diner Review №98

Nice place on the inside. I had pad thai, and my wife had pho. Were were surprised that the pho broth was pretty decent. Pad that was not good at all. The waitress was going through something personal though and seemed to be crying off and on.

Diner Review №99

Always great food!

Diner Review №100

Diner Review №101

Really good food, no complaints. Wish they had tapioca boba instead of the popping ones!

Diner Review №102

By far the best Asian food in Dubuque! Oolong is my favorite restaurant. It’s locally owned and ran, and you can tell the quality of the food, particularly the broth! The cuisine is pan-Asian, distinguishing it from the other Asian-fusion restaurants in Dubuque. I also really enjoy the decor. It blends the historic brick look of Dubuque with a subtle and classy touch. The beautiful glass lanterns make me smile every time I visit the restaurant. My favorite dish is the Pork Dumplings.

Diner Review №103

Diner Review №104

Food was amazing! Great price, and good portions. Owner and staff are very friendly. We will definitely be going back soon. Spring rolls and dumplings are a must!

Diner Review №105

Diner Review №106

Some days you get lucky. And stopping for lunch at Oolong was a most fortunate occasion. First time here and we will be back. It’s not easy finding authentic Asian cuisine in Northeast Iowa, but these folks are a treasure worth a trek. Food, service, and facility all peg the quality meter.

My Pad Thai rivaled anything I’ve had around the world in places where they didn’t speak English. My medium heat choice was rich and flavorful without overpowering the fresh ingredients. The plentiful fresh crisp bean sprouts and a subtle peanut sauce that did not dominate this classic dish made it an instant hit with me.

My wife had a green curry with vegetables. Perfect! Her mild spice was still flavorful, but gentle out here in a part of the world where folks still often consider dill an aggressive seasoning. ;)

The vegetables and generous Asian rice were perfectly al dente.

The eclectic pan Asian menu appears simple at first, but the myriad of variations offered by our wait staff were as diverse and alluring as Asia itself.

Get out of the burger and bar food box and give Oolong a try. On-street parking just a bit off the center of downtown Dubuque is plentiful. This is a no regrets real deal kind of place hidden here in the Heartland.

Diner Review №107

Diner Review №108

My husband and I love coming to Oolong! Their ramen and stir fry, along with fried spring rolls, are our favorites. They are hot, fresh, and consistent everytime. The service is fast, there's not usually a long wait, and the staff are friendly. We love that it's locally owned!

Diner Review №109

Very tasty! I always forget how large bowls of Miso Ramen or Pho can be, so be prepared for leftovers (which is nothing to complain about! I'm quite pleased with the idea that I can enjoy such good food twice.)

We also had the pork, leek and shrimp dumplings, which were superb, and the bbq pork buns. I lament places that don't do pork buns, because I enjoy them so much! These did not disappoint; they do score the buns to hasten cooling which is a gift and a curse, as they do cool faster but it affected the structural integrity of the bun. Hardly an issue, though! I'll be back, and quite happily.

Diner Review №110

What a Gem in the downtown area of Dubuque. I was in town for business and I try and stay away from the chains if possible. Oolong does not disappoint. Cozy little place but with an open feel. Small but diverse menu. I had a dumpling sampler (two kinds in one order) and the Pho. My only regret is I was dining solo and would loved to have been there with a table of four so I could try more. If my travels bring me back to Dubuque I will be a repeat patron!!

Diner Review №111

We really enjoyed our dinner. Would highly recommend and we will be back. The Thai Basil Stir-Fry (medium) was amazing! I could’ve eaten a giant bowl full of the Pandan Coconut Rice Pudding…yum!

Diner Review №112

Lobster Rangoons were phenomenal and the dumplings amazing, Pho was delicious and I loved the atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back❤️

Diner Review №113

SO FREAKING GOODDDDDD. THE PHO IS SO GOOD

Diner Review №114

I forgot to mention you have to get the pandan asian sticky rice. That's the best dessert I've had in a while.

Diner Review №115

It's pretty solid ramen for Dubuque Iowa lol

Diner Review №116

I'm happy when I can order Thai food with spicy heat. My meal of Thai Red Curry (hot) didn't disappoint! It was delicious and nicely spicy. I'll be sure to go back to try other menu items. The restaurant is small but has a nice decor with sparkling glass lanterns that look way better in person than on my photos. It's really classy!

Diner Review №117

The beef soup, dumplings & lobster Rangoon’s were wonderful!

Diner Review №118

Restaurant is nice and clean. Waitress greeted us with a warm welcome and a smile. Very kind. Service was phenomenal. Food was served fast, presented nicely, and piping hot. I strongly recommend this establishment lunch and dinner.

Diner Review №119

Good food. staff was friendly. Serving were bigger then I thought they would be. Very nice place

Diner Review №120

Always the best. Thank you so much!!

Diner Review №121

Very friendly staff, AMAZING food!

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №123

The flavor on the basil beef was excellent. I'm not sure the beef option is for me but I tried the girlfriends chicken teriyaki which was very tasty too and that worked really well for me all around.

The bao and the curry fries were top notch!!

Diner Review №124

This place is so good. Ken the owner is as authentic as it gets. Nice guy. Hard worker. Clean and fun.....but the food is terrific.

Diner Review №125

This place is awesome! Asian sit-down dining is fairly hard to find in this area so this place is highly appreciated. We’re eating our way through the menu. Today had the green curry - excellent! Big fan of the pork belly bao- best I’ve ever had. Always look forward to next time!

Diner Review №126

I am certainly not an expert on Asian food, but absolutely love Oolong! My husband and I have been here several times. Service has always been fantastic and prices are fair for the times we live in. Kudos for your hard work while caring for your family.

Diner Review №127

Diner Review №128

Diner Review №132

Small menu but each dish is a delight and done perfectly

Diner Review №133

This is my favorite restaurant In Dubuque. Authentic Vietnamese dishes, the pho in particular is delicious!

Diner Review №134

Perfect place for a date! The food is authentic. The server was very helpful when selecting a dish and sake.

Diner Review №135

What a cute place! We had the curry fries which were delicious and the ramen had a great portion size! Appreciate the vegan options, please support locally-owned businesses like this!

Diner Review №136

While the menu may be small, every item on it is an absolute powerhouse of flavor! First time there and DEFINITELY not the last. The Bao are possibly the best pork belly I've ever had, curry fries are to die for, and it has a great selection of imported liquor. Everything is fresh, the presentation is clean, and it has the hole in the wall feel that makes it worth the trip!

I normally get the Bao to share and two orders of dumplings pan fried. They have around 8 different ones so I mix and match. Hot sake to drink, while it takes 10 minutes to make, super worth it.

Diner Review №137

Really enjoyed the food, and the service was great (polite and attentive). Highly recommend!

Diner Review №138

Very good! Large portions, delicious Thai tea, great service. Hope to be back soon 🤗

Diner Review №139

I don't recommend the red curry dish, but everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. The place was clean and nice, and good service.

Diner Review №140

Diner Review №141

Diner Review №142

The best Asian food in the tri-state area by far! I've eaten there about four or five times since they opened last year and every single time has been incredibly yummy. Their ingredients are extremely fresh, their sauces are made from scratch using high-quality ingredients and their ambience and service are top-notch. This is a place that knows what they're doing in the kitchen and a place that doesn't take shortcuts. Taste the wonderful, flavor-filled delights this restaurant has for lunch or supper & you won't be disappointed. 😀👌👍🍜🍲🍱🍹☕🍚

Diner Review №143

Had the Ramen for lunch. Found the broth little lacking in flavor.

Diner Review №144

I’ve ordered take-out from Oolong a few times. The food is out of this world, and they go the extra mile to show their care for their customers. Highly recommend the pho and the lobster rangoons.

Diner Review №145

First time visitor...the Pad Thai was recommended and l LOVED it. I will certainly be back when I pass this way again. There is a uniqueness to traditional menu items that raises the level of this place to a must visit when in the area! It is a charming place and the service was excellent too.

Diner Review №146

Diner Review №147

Little pricey for noodles, wait staff was a little pretentious. Meal was ok, but now like an $8 bowl of noodles. Sorry, but it's true.

Diner Review №148

Diner Review №149

Diner Review №160

This was such a fun surprise!! I am from areas rich with East Asian food and was not expecting to find delicious Vietnamese food in Dubuque—I was happily surprised. The pho was delicious. The dumplings were tasty as well, though a bit on the oilier side. Would have preferred slightly less of that. The service was great. Efficient and kind. Overall, a great experience! I’d def it wily recommend.

The staff was nice and the food was alright. We ordered pho, ramen, and pad Thai.
The pho was good. Just as good as any other pho place.
The ramen was okay, a bit bland and the pork was overcooked but otherwise okay.
The pad Thai, objectively, didn't taste like pad thai. It lacked a sweet flavor and was very brown. I don't know... Something about it felt off but I didn't want to bring it up to the staff and be rude about it. Someone in our party liked it but to me, it didn't taste like a normal pad Thai. Just putting it out there.

Overall, it has a great vibe and the staff is nice 👍

Stopped by on the way back from a trip. I love this restaurant. It's so delicious and the interior of the restaurant is amazing. Good service from the owner and staff.
旅行の帰りに立ち寄りました。このお店は素晴らしいです。食事も美味しく、お店のインテリアもセンスが良く、オーナー、スタッフのサービスも良いです。自宅からは遠いのですが、また行けたらなぁと思います。

We wanted a local spot that wasn’t burgers and pizza and after reading the reviews we went there. The owner recommended the pork belly buns and wow probably the best I’ve had to date. The dough was so pillowy and light, the pork belly was so flavorful and tender. I’ll be back for those for sure!!!

My daughter and I had the pho and the broth was delicious. I nearly cleaned my bowl, but couldn’t. My husband cleaned his plate too, teriyaki udon I believe, said it was delicious too. My daughter ate about half before being full. The dipping the beef in hoisin and sriracha was a great suggestion as well.

The service (owner) was great. So friendly to talk to which is a bonus. His recommendations were spot on. Thank you for the really delicious and nice evening out.

A great stop! It's a neat environment with tons of choices for food. We got bao and Japanese udon noodles - they were spectacular. Friendly and prompt service, too! I would absolutely go back.

Charming family run Asian restaurant. Basic menu, we had pan fried dumplings w chicken and king oyster mushrooms and pork/shrimp/shiitake very yummy! For entrees we had pho which had steak and slices of meatballs, dynamite beef broth rivaled any big city version I’ve had! Also had dumpling soup which was a more basic beef broth that you could choose any 6 dumplings and we got scallop/pork which were delicious! Other options were ramen and pad Thai. I am sure these would be excellent as well. They are using the strategy of only offering a few things but doing them very well which I think is wise for a small place! This was a great find and we really enjoyed ourselves!

菜品丰富,味道不错,老板很热情

Great Asian food in town! Both Pho and Pad Thai tasted great and the waiter was friendly.

Visited during a weekend getaway earlier this year and wanted to try some local eateries when this establishment caught my eye. My wife and I enjoyed a great dinner here with a good Thai curry that was super tasty.

Diner Review №178

my first time going. So tasty and loved the gluten friendly options. My friend I went with got a bubble tea with fun flavors, too, she said it was all really good!

Diner Review №179

Nice atmosphere and food was pretty good. Gone there many times for the milk tea (+ popping boba). Server was nice and the food didn't take too long

Diner Review №180

It’s strictly pho and Udon. Delicious Sake including unfiltered. Great curry fries which is an extra portion YOU HAVE TO SHARE!

Diner Review №181

Pho is pretty good. Fast service

We stopped here for a snack after the farmers market and really liked it! The restaurant was so cute, the lights were neat. We had the dumpling duo (2 different kinds) deep fried and lobster rangoon. Both were delicious and flavorful with yummy dipping sauces. The lobster rangoon was a nice change from the typical crab rangoons. We would definitely stop again if we were in the area!

Diner Review №183

Absolutely delicious! The pork, leek, and shrimp dumplings and pork belly bao buns were wonderful. A great pick me up for my work week!

Diner Review №184

The restaurant is beautifully themed, playing some very nice, calm music. The staff was EXCELLENT! Service was fast and the wait staff polite and accommodating! The food? The food is where the magic is! We each ordered something different so we could try it all. We started with Lobster Rangoon and Sechwan Spicy Dumplings. Both were delicious. My son and I tried both and agreed the lobster Rangoon was the best Rangoon we've had! We ordered Pho, Pad Thai with chicken, medium heat and Japenese Stir-Fry Udon with chicken and broccoli. We all cleaned our plates/bowls, everything was absolutely delicious! If you are in the area, you MUST stop in for dinner. You will NOT be disappointed!

Diner Review №185

Food was ready promptly at pickup time, packaged well. The bbq bao buns were excellent, as well as the red curry fries. I also appreciated that they packaged the curry separately from the fries. Unfortunately our main dish, pad Thai with tofu, was doused with so much fish sauce it was inedible. Having eaten pad Thai at numerous restaurants across the country I know the amount of fish sauce used does tend to vary and admittedly I’m not a fan. This was overwhelming though, even for my husband who does not mind it.

Fantastic food and service! The pho was amazing!

Delicious food! Lovely place!

For Dubuque this is a fantastic place.

Diner Review №192

We were looking for something that wasn't too upscale (aka requiring fancy clothes) but also we wanted something fancier than a burger/pizza joint. Oolong hit the spot! The booths were a great place to tuck away and have great conversation over delicious food. This is the perfect place to take a best friend or groups of 4 or less so you can fit in the booths. The Pad Thai was great. You can order the level of spiciness that you prefer. The sake flight was a treat. The white peach chilled sake was a hit and went down smoothly!

Good options mild, medium or spicy, gluten free, vegan. Special orders no problems. One of the few places my wife can eat with her special diet.

Diner Review №195

This place is really good I loved the red curry and Thai limeade

Diner Review №196

I came in here with my sister and friend, who were hyping this place up so much; they weren't kidding. I had ordered the Pad Thai with Shrimp, it was delicious and a lot of food. It is a little on the pricey side, so budget to your needs.

As many have said, the ambience of the place is great. Although, the food did take a while to come out, it didn't matter, the atmosphere was very pleasant, that time seems irrelevant.

Overall good place to eat and great atmosphere.

Best spring rolls and sauce I've ever had! Great food and service!

Diner Review №199

The food here is so amazing I barely cared about the couple with the kids sitting behind us, who just let their child’s dirty diaper stink up the place 🫣

Honestly best noodles in Dubuque!

Diner Review №200

Dubuque doesn't have a long list of Asian restaurants but Oolong doesn't disappoint.

If you are into sake, I recommend their cold pineapple one.

Simple chicken and vegetable dumplings were amazing.

I wish they'll start serving in-house spicy sauce.
