Sent the spicy edamame back. I'm not sure what happened, seemed like they microwaved it, and left it in too long? Or it was just bad? The pods were all wilted and no spice stuck to them at all. The beans were very rubbery. Had no issue sending them back, but the server looked annoyed at us the entire time we ate because we requested to sit in the bar area and no one else was in there. I had Tom Ka Kai soup with scallops and it was spot on. I also had a sushi roll, which was good. Again, felt rushed and like we were not wanted. Won't be back.

Diner Review №4

What an interesting place to grab lunch. Good food, great variety and very nicely decorated.

Diner Review №5

Patio is super nice. Service excellent. We had very tasty Sushi.

Diner Review №6

We ate during lull. Our table was a bit undersized for our party and how much we ordered. Our server was fairly good but another server came by to take the check before we finished. Having just taken a long plane flight & started without breakfast we finished all the food ordered. We weren't offered dessert nor additional drinks.

Diner Review №7

Panang is great!

Diner Review №8

We went to sample their signature margarita since we heard they were awesome. This was about 4 pm on a Saturday. We sat at the bar and no one was there so were asked the hostess if there was a bartender and she said they were on break. I guess the break room was right behind the bar, we heard 2 employees go there and say there are people at the bar. We were the only customers in the restaurant , but no one came out. Finally the manager came over to make our drinks but she was visibly unhappy. We have never felt more unwelcome in an establishment. When the bartender finally appeared she didn’t acknowledge us. The margarita, which the manager eventually made for us, was so lime overpowering and overpriced, we will never go back, even though we live in walking distance in the neighborhood.

Our server Katherine is absolutely amazing! She treated us so well and made us feel at home. Give her a raise!!!

I ordered lettuce wraps. Pretty simple right. So I got it via takeout, I get home, open it, and it’s just a container of beef. No lettuce. Lettuce is literally IN THE NAME

Amazing

Lovely dining experience

Diner Review №14

Nice interior and atmosphere! I ordered Tofu Thai Basil. Food was a little salty.. Nevertheless, the flavors and taste were amazing! It has the "char-flavor"! I would eat here again!

The food is delicious but when we were there a disturbance occurred in the restaurant, causing us to have to move. The table next to us was using profanity and screaming over the phone. The staff did not ask them to be quiet or do anything to remove them from the restaurant. We moved ourselves to the other side of the restaurant since I had my young nephew with us. They tried to turn the music up, but I continued to hear the loud patrons from across the restaurant for the rest of our meal. We know that this situation was out of their control, but more could have been done to prevent this from disrupting other customers. We almost had to leave because of this, so I hope they consider taking action in the future.

I would first like to say that our waitress was very sweet, I didn't get her name. However, our experience was heavily affected by the food we received. We found 2 hairs and a fingernail in one of the dishes we ordered. The manager on shift even grabbed my daughters hand when shown the hair in my daughters hand, shook her hand to knock the hair out of her hand and said "nobody needs to see that". This same manager then asked if we wanted a menu to order something different, and 10 seconds after receiving the menu she then asked us if we wanted boxes. It was not only physically invasive to my daughter to touch her, but then to essentially ask us if we are done after someone was looking at the menu to order something different is extremely unprofessional. We decided ultimately to not finish any of the 5 dishes, nor order a replacement. We made sure the waitress knew it wasn't her fault, as it wasn't made aware to her the issue that had occurred at her table. I have worked food Service for 15 years, managing food service locations, certified for national level food safety and I would never touch one of my customers, especially as this "manager" did. We paid for 4 dishes that we didn't eat so we could tip the waitress. We will never be visiting this establishment again, and it was my first time visiting to begin with. I will make sure not to suggest this place.

Good food and service!

Diner Review №21

Great Thai food.

Diner Review №22

Our waitress waitress fantastic. Smiles, friendly, efficient.
Oh. The food was good too.

Diner Review №23

Great location, great food. Yesly was attentive, kind and made our lunch experience.

Diner Review №24

First time here (2 couples wanting to catch up over a good meal). We had a great meal, with great service. Parking wasn't bad for a Saturday night at 6pm - probably so the construction on Ingersol - there's a big parking lot to the east that had plenty of space. We ordered drinks and appetizers (crab rangoons, egg rolls and Tom Kha Kai soup) and they came out quick & hot! Love their crab rangoons; they might be the best in the city! Waitress let us take our time eating the appetizers and catching up with our friends - didn't rush us to order entrees (thank you!!!). When we did order, I got the Hawaiian Fried Rice and my husband got the Seafood Ka-Phrao. Our friends ordered Pad See-Ew and Chicken Pad Thai. It was a lot of food and everything tasted great! Only complaint was the split bills were miss matched (they had my Hawaiian Fried Rice entre and we had their Pad See-Ew) but the dollar amounts were about the same so we didn't say anything. I really appreciated that we weren't rush, the waitress was attentive and ready to bring us more drinks whenever we ran low (before we ran out), and the food was delicious. Our bill was $109 and I tipped 30%. I look forward to going back!

Diner Review №27

Diner Review №28

The fried rice I got included vegetables/mushrooms that were not listed on the menu

Diner Review №29

Delicious food, large portions

Diner Review №30

Love their yellow curry.

Diner Review №31

Went in waitress had a grumpy face and not good but the food was amazing didint get any straws and had to eat shishi with my finger and no chopsticks for my pho

Diner Review №32

Delicious food an friendly staff!

Diner Review №33

First time I ate here, but it won't be my last. This place was amazing all around. The atmosphere is spectacular. Our waitress was amazing, never had to ask for a refill on my lemonade once. The crab rangoons were probably the best or 2nd best I've ever had, I would have to do a side by side taste test to determine a winner. I had the Pad Thai for main course with fried chicken which was excellent. Huge portion which I couldn't finish and had to take home. For 2 people, with an appetizer it was under $40.

About the 6th time we ate and once again it was amazing. Place got super busy around 3:30 and our waitress, Yuvia, was completely by herself, but still did an amazing job.

Diner Review №34

Food is superb at this location more than the other location. Best food in Des Moines! Pad see ew and pad kee ke mau are fabulous and tom ka soup. Sometimes spice is missing but can always add your own. Different waitress every visit. Food is spectacular!!!

Diner Review №35

Good vibes n great food

Diner Review №36

The place look okay just the food isn't living up to expectations of E 14 th never will I order from here again the manager disrespectful staff don't know what they're doing sad 😢. I wish I would have known about this before I went for my replacement order . The taste wasn't there and missing garnish and asked for it to be spicy. Taste odd... but never again on no rush just take my happy behind to the the right store. Not even sure I had chicken in it lol..

Diner Review №37

The curry pastry tasted the way my dog smells. Seaweed for sushi was stretchy like laffy taffy and we got the baked scallop maki… the scallops were raw and smothered in sauce, and when we asked our server about why it says baked she asked the kitchen for us and came back and said the scallops were supposed to be “lightly torched”… did they “lightly torch” it with their farts? Never going back.

Diner Review №38

Ate here on a business trip. I look forward to returning and being able to explore their e tensive menu.

Diner Review №39

Diner Review №40

received no chicken in spicy noodles with chicken.

Diner Review №41

Thai Flavors is a huge DSM staple. I will admit that I enjoy the East 14th location a lot more than this one. The food and service at this location is hit or miss. I think the other location does some of the menu items better. We really love the Panang Curry but something was off about it the last two times we came to the Ingersoll location. Maybe the recipe changed. I also only have sushi that falls apart at this location. This last Thursday it took about 15 minutes for someone to greet us after we were seated, and another one to take our order, then another server ended up bringing our food and check. It's okay if they work as a team and pool tips but there was just so much time in between each stage. Maybe we came during a shift change. I don't know for sure.

Diner Review №42

An amazing experience. I was in the area visiting from Omaha, and I would definitely make the two hour drive just to go back for this experience. I had an attentive waitress. She got the order right. The food was hot and fresh. The spice level was on point. The mussels were great. I also had the pineapple delight 😋 amazing. My wife had the combination fried rice which was also very good. Now I can’t rave enough about the crab Rangoons. They were the best crab Rangoons I have ever had. We went back the next day for lunch and the food, service, and atmosphere were the same as the previous day. It definitely is worth trying you will forever love this place.

Diner Review №43

Great food and service always, but we had the best server today - shout out to Ana M!! Loved her bubbly personality!! Made my day!

Diner Review №44

Awesome!! Crab Rangoon is the best I’ve had in the metro. Yellow curry and Tom Yum were A+ too. Will definitely be back.

Diner Review №45

I've always gone to the original, and that's hard to beat. First time here and it won't be my last. Food was perfect, the spice was exactly as I wanted it. The presentation was spot on, along with the service. The dining area is spacious and designed beautifully. They have a small bar if you desire. Restrooms are clean and nice. This is a great addition to West side of downtown. You should go and experience this place!

Diner Review №50

I love this Thai place - plenty of options to choose from and many vegetarian options
Food is quick to be served and always delicious

Diner Review №51

Excellent food every single time! Love all of the options. Just delicious.

Diner Review №52

Diner Review №53

I ordered food for take out, I called and got there about 5 minutes later and the food was ready - they said it's because they were slow but my noodles are extremely undercook / stale. I love how fast the service was, but I prefer the quality to also be good as well. I rather have waited longer so the food tasted good.

Diner Review №54

They messed up our sushi roll Management did nothing still charged us very unprofessional and rude

Diner Review №55

Tried the new Garlic Egg noodle and wow! Love it! Pad Thai fans will like it!!

Diner Review №56

The Crab Rangoon was great. The fried chicken in my sweet and sour chicken has a batter that was either cooked in very heavy oil. Possibly day on the bottom of the cooking bin with fresher pieces above dripping on top. Very loud place at 50% full.

Diner Review №57

Want Thai food? They have it. Want Japanese food? Got that too? Looking for some Vietnamese? Yepper pepper! Also, they have heavy-pour cocktails.

Diner Review №58

Used to frequent more often but service and food have gone downhill. We were Over charged for food that didn’t come. Did not want to argue anymore. Paid in full and left the food that did come on table-it was inedible. Don’t recommend anymore!

Diner Review №59

Bathrooms and dining rooms could use some attention to cleanliness. The staff was helpful, but it is concerning when they offer dessert as you are eating your meal. Food came out in less than 5 minutes, whichtasteds like it. Ok overall, butit needs improvement.

Diner Review №60

Great flavors

Diner Review №61

The food was good but not Thai.

Diner Review №62

Their TST sushi rolls will always be my favorite!

Diner Review №63

Diner Review №64

Good place to eat some Thai food

Diner Review №65

Enjoyed the flavors.

Diner Review №66

Food was great! Multiple selection. Is it Authentic Thai?? No, but flavor is great! Food come out really fast, great size for the price. However, our server was kinda slow. We went there 2 times and always got her sections. She took her time to come get our order, fill our water, took her time to get our bills or give us to go containers. She's great that's why I gave 4 stars for the service, but she could be more attentive to her tables and be a little faster with getting things. I think I waited for her to bring me the check longer than I waited for the food.

Diner Review №67

Don't doordash to this store had me waiting 15mins for two items the staff acts completely unaware of customers and their communication sucks

Diner Review №68

Diner Review №69

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We ordered our food and drinks when we got there. The drinks came super late. We were there for 2 hours and never got our food. I ordered a California roll and saw it sitting on the counter for an hour with the servers talking and breathing on it. Absolutely disgusting. I told our server to take it off the bill because I was not going to eat it. After waiting an hour and 45 minutes. I asked to speak to a supervisor and no one ever came out to talk to us. I eventually just told our server to bring us our food to go.We never even ate at the restaurant. They also never removed the California roll from the bill. We still ended up paying $90 for food we didn’t even eat there. Terrible

Diner Review №70

Staff was great!

Diner Review №71

Good Costumer service, delicious food.

Diner Review №72

We went with a large group for a birthday party. The waitress kind of went with the flow joined in the fun and very delicious food.

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

~*I love the Papaya salad and Green Curry vegetables with extra veggies. I dine in and have take out with this place pretty often. Was disappointed my last take out order was wrong but I never set high hopes for delivery orders at any restaurant.*~

Diner Review №75

The food and service was really good. Very clean and service wad quick.

Parking was not very accurate and isnt convenient in my opinion since you have to park in the back the gps will take yiu tk a different street that does not connect to the back parking.

Diner Review №76

Great service to match the food. Portions more than enough. Crab Rangoon was outstanding.

Diner Review №77

The food is next level amazing. Flavor was completely balanced in every dish we ate. We can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Diner Review №78

The food is always terrific! Fresh ingredients, great flavor. Favorite Thai place in town for us!

Diner Review №79

Wonderful food, service, and very clean place. Was not crazy about the music. It was loud and not my jam. The food was tops!!! Nothing typical about the Pad Thai! Yum!

Diner Review №80

Their yellow chicken curry with broccoli added is seriously to die for! I crave it every week and can easily get two lunches out of it. Deeeelish & very inexpensive!

Diner Review №81

Dropped to 3 stars after the recent inspection details were announced and shrimp was being prepared on non compliant surfaces. Always loved eating here.

Diner Review №82

Katy was amazing bartender, made me laugh great drinks food is always amazing.

Diner Review №85

The best Thai food restaurant in town 😘

Diner Review №86

Great Happy hour great food and the best crab rangoons in town!!

Diner Review №87

Great food!
The Ingersoll location is better than the E14th Thai Flavors and Cool Basil.
I love the veggie delight with fried tofu and drunken noodles. Also any of the curries are great, especially pumpkin or panang.

Diner Review №88

Everything we have tried here has been excellent! We have tried many Thai places in and out of Des Moines over the years and this one is in the top tier.

Diner Review №89

First time eating here. It was delicious! The food was hot and fresh. Their happy hour extends until 7 pm which is later than most. We'll definitely be back!

Diner Review №90

We were out with friends and wanted to try somewhere new to eat. We walked in with modest expectations and we were immediately aware that we were in for a treat. Every dish and every interaction with staff exceeded our expectations. For me it was the best Thai food I've eaten in the Midwest. We will be regulars from now on.

Diner Review №91

Amazing food!

Diner Review №92

I ordered delivery. The food was decent but the order was wrong. I ordered the tom kha kai and got tom yum and my daughter's meal was missing altogether.

Diner Review №93

Unfortunately this place fell off, dined in the other day, food did not have the same flavor so i feel like a different chef was hired. Also, please train your servers to refill waters at the bare minimum, yes i did not tip and i was happy that i didnt. The waitress did not come and ask us how our food was until it was time to give us a check

Diner Review №94

I got the chicken pad thai level 2 and the chicken and shrimp healthy rolls. Both were delicious! I ordered to go and I waited only 5 minutes! I want to try everything on the menu!

Diner Review №95

Very good Thai! One of my favorites. Love yellow curry with rice noodles. Three stars of spice is just on hot side for me.

Diner Review №96

Great food, Fun atmosphere and great service. Staff are friendly and professional and the food was great! Eggplant lovers 5 stars is one of the best ever!

Diner Review №97

Diner Review №98

I wasn't impressed with the food at all. It was my first time going to this location, I have been going to the other for several years and I made the mistake of assuming the food/dishes would be the same, they clearly weren't. My food arrived looking & tasting completely different than expected but the waitress looked and spoke to me like I ordered the wrong thing and I didn't know what I was ordering, like I was just stupid. I got another item, a common item it still wasn't good. I actually spoke to an old friend who worked there as I walked out and she informed me that the sauces are completely different at both locations and several people have complained that are used to the original location. I mostly didn't appreciate how the waitress insisted they were the same and it was me. The location is nice on the inside, and my son loved his Sushi.

Diner Review №99

This is the 2nd Thai flavor restaurant I’ve tried in Des Moines. We ordered Curry related dish, and it’s very tasty. Our server is very friendly, she even created a cocktail drink based off my preference (off the menu), and it was very creative. The bluish color and right amount of malibu and coconut tropical flavor were a huge plus. They have patio seats with very clean and nice view, it’s perfect for a summer date.

Diner Review №100

Thai Flavors (on Ingersoll specifically) has been one of my fav spots to eat in the dsm area for quite a while now. I recommend it to everyone. However, the last two times I’ve gone the food just wasn’t good. Tonight I had pad Thai and the healthy spring rolls, and the pad Thai was super dry and they gave me no peanuts or lime. The healthy rolls were falling apart before I even ate any and they had celery in them which was just not good. I’ve never had a roll like that with celery in it before it was like all I could taste.

Diner Review №117

SO GOOD! My only complaint is sometimes depending on the cook, the spice levels are different. Some days 3 stars are perfect and some days it's like my entire digestive track starts on fire. But I'd rather it be too spicy than not enough.

We have been to Thai Flavors a few times now and the food has always been excellent. It is getting hard to say our favorites. But so far we love the Pad Thai, the Three Flavors Fish, and the Hawaiian Fried Rice.

Diner Review №125

Diner Review №126

Diner Review №127

First, I will say the food was excellent. However, the service continually went downhill over the night. Not exaggerating, it took our group 40 minutes to pay due to multiple issues with getting the checks right. The waitress even went around one by one asking what we had. After multiple attempts to get it fixed, we left out of frustration and ended up paying for more than we ordered. Our checks were redone two and three times and still not right. One of the reruns was due to the waitress forgetting to tack on their mandatory 18% due to our party size. Unbelievable tacky.

Diner Review №128

awesome place to stop by on a road trip home!!
great service! super nice people and environment inside!!

Diner Review №129

So good! Have had a few things off of the menu and it’s always been excellent, the lettuce wraps were great (level 6 spice was HOT too) black pepper chicken was perfect, delicious all around!

Thai flavors Ingersoll avenue

Des Moines has just expanded so much and it's offerings of food.
I think Liam Anivat is the major owner and I remember his food at Thai flavors on East 14th Street long ago. He has become quite a entrepreneur of Thai restaurants he is the major owner of Cool Basil and Clive and banana leaf. He is really worked hard to have very large restaurants that serve delicious Thai food. We had a group of 30 for lunch for a birthday partyand they were very accommodating.

It's conveniently located along Ingersoll with limited parking in the front and some parking on the side and a large amount of parking in the rear. It can be a busy place so depending on the time of day lunch or dinner you may have to walk a little from your parking spot to the restaurant.
The restaurant is clean modern and as an extensive Bar menu. It is similar menu items to his other restaurants. On this particular day I had the ginger beef and some taste of Hawaiian fried rice. Both were excellent.
I always like to support a locally owned business. Liam has developed quite a system and serving large amount of people at all his restaurants although the East 14th restaurants still has that old mom and pop kind of feel.
When he first opened his first restaurant there were not that many Thai restaurants around town. Now he's open many himself and there are other many quality Thai food restaurants around town
I think all of his restaurants have some healthier menu including fresh vegetable dishes. I believe they all have vegan dishes as well. Of course the restaurant has pot stickers basil stir fry, pad thai, and other traditional Thai restaurant dishes. There is lots of variety in the menu including traditional sushi dishes and bento boxes
It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. Having said that the service was fast and efficient .
It's also about being realistic about the food.
Although we had one server for our group all the other servers pitched in to make sure the food was served quick and hot.
There are lots of lunch specials as well smaller size dishes of traditional Thai food there's about 10 different kinds.
I would definitely check this place out. If you're in the area it's well worth a visit

Diner Review №141

Loved everything we ordered!! They even helped us adjust our sushi orders to be gluten free. The specialty roll I ordered gluten free was so good.

Diner Review №142

Diner Review №143

Extremely slow service. You will wait over an hour for food and the waiters and waitresses don't acknowledge you or update you in the meantime. It wasn't just my group that was affected, several other tables waited over an hour for food too. Eventually, we left (along with several other groups) after it was clear that we weren't going to be served any time soon.

My advice for servers and management: If you know the wait time will be longer than usual, at least have the common courtesy to let the guests know upfront.

Diner Review №144

Waited over one hour after ordering dinner and left because we did not receive our food. After 30 minutes we asked how much longer we have to wait before we get the food. We were told there was a lot of online orders for pickup so we should wait 15 minutes more. We left after waiting 30 minutes more, which was 60+ minutes after ordering. Groups at two other tables were waiting before we arrived and they left before we got up. Three other unserved groups who were there before us were not looking happy. Unfortunately, this restaurant clearly values their online customers more than their customers sitting in the restaurant. This is restaurant is obviously not recommended.

Diner Review №145

Never got to try the food. Waited over an hour for food with no preemptive indication of when we'd be served. So we left. We asked the server for an ETA and they gave us an extremely optimistic time. They also told us they had a lot of online orders. Processing online orders before people who are at the restaurant is the wrong move and there is no context that would make it okay to have such a long wait time for people at the restaurant. This also puts the kitchen and servers in a bad situation, because now they lose on tips because of understandably dissatisfied customers, esp. if online customers tip much less.

We weren't the only group that left during that time, let alone who were upset.

I don't know what the situation is with the servers and giving optimistic wait times. Maybe management is threatening them with job loss if they don't paint an optimistic situation to customers. Or maybe that's just me having sympathy for the wait staff.

Diner Review №146

Diner Review №147

Loved it!

Diner Review №148

The spicy noodles were my favorite. I definitely will be back.

Diner Review №149

This place would probably be better dining in, so you can immediately return your dish if there’s hair in it. Or, so you can tell them right away that they brought you the wrong food.

I’ve done takeout from here several times, and they’ve gotten the order right MAYBE twice. I gave them another chance recently, after having had 2 hairs in my pad thai the previous time, and this time I was given the wrong sushi roll.

Huge disappointment.

Diner Review №150

Diner Review №151

A pleasant surprise. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

Diner Review №152

Overall the food was tasty, portions are good, and the staff is friendly. Prices were good as well. I would recommend going here if you are in the Des Moines Ingersoll area.

Diner Review №153

Diner Review №154

Diner Review №155

Diner Review №161

A nice thai restaurant. Their lunch specials Quantity is good and more than enough to fill your belly 😋 .

Diner Review №164

Diner Review №165

Everything is good but I'm partial to the 'angry dish'. I'm new to the area and have no nostalgic or political affiliations with the Thai restaurants here. But IMHO this is the best Thai in Des Moines.

Diner Review №166

Try the yellow curry with chicken! It's amazing!

Diner Review №167

Diner Review №168

No chicken in my soup. Total disappointment

Diner Review №169

It was easy to make many of the dishes there vegan, and I definitely recommend trying the mock duck in a noodle dish. The presentation is good, and the servings are generous. You can get the spice level made to your specifications, and they are easily able to remove ingredients from a dish. The noodles were made to perfection, and the sauce was flavorful.

Diner Review №170

Excellent food. Recently relocated from a smallish and always crowded 14th Street store to a new modern and spacious location along on Ingersoll known for its food/bar scene and shops.

Diner Review №171

The 3 flavor fish is amazing!!!! I literally get it every time.

Diner Review №172

Quality and price was good. Not really authentic Thai. But still taste was good.

Diner Review №173

Best crab rangoons I've ever had!! The sushi roll I had was really good too, I think it was the Des Moines roll.

Diner Review №174

Dishes were quite tasty. Good service in a good location.

Great food. I was super impressed with the papaya salad. I think we went out a very busy time and there was only one waitress at the time but she was An excellent server, the interior was very well put together and everything was very clean. Plenty of space for seating and even outdoor seating.

It tasted great and the service was awesome!

The Chicken & Shrimp appetizer was dry to my taste, not my best selection, but the Chicken Fried Rice was right on point.

I've done take out at this location a few times already. Unfortunately, this does not live up to the expectations that the Thai Flavors on 14th street set had first set when this Ingersoll location opened. It's been awhile since I have been to the 14th st location because the Ingersoll is closer. But at this point, I would drive the extra miles to go to the 14th location or go to a different restaurant entirely (I can not comment on the sushi because I have never ordered).Visually, the restaurant is very pleasing and is appealing to the younger crowds with a bar separate from dining. Overall, I'm hoping these are just growing pains and not a drop in quality as a result of expansion.

Minn was amazing behind the bar. Food and drinks were fantastic. The hardest part was digesting twilight on repeat playing behind the bar 😂

Great food! Always take home Crab Rangoons. Delicious!

Diner Review №191

Delicious Thai food, tasted like I expected. Had nice plating and the food came out quick. Our server was very nice but had little knowledge about the menu. Gluten free options are marked. Really beautiful restaurant. Enough food for leftovers. Lots of yummy extras for dessert.

Diner Review №192

Really good pad thai, sesame chicken, sweet sticky rice and tom yum! The crab rangoons actually have crab in them!

Diner Review №193

If you want Thai food this place is so good. We will be back again and again. 🙂

Diner Review №195

I've liked this owner's other restaurants; cool basil is pretty much always a good time but now so much this place. Szechuan chicken was a joke; was just overcooked fried chicken swimming in what might as well have been bottled sweet chili sauce. Tom Kha was as good as ever though. Seems to be a case of everything not strictly thai being mediocre but everything else being fine.

Also not a fan of the unspoken upsell on some food options. Waitress asks "white or fried rice" as if fried isn't extra, "chicken or shrimp" as if shrimp isn't extra. They are, so you have to be paying attention if you weren't expecting to be paying more for what's not included.
