Usually spring rolls are rice paper that is more fresh, but this place said spring rolls are rolls that are deep fried. I looked at the menu and it said 1 veggie summer (spring rolls) for 4.99???? That's usually a price for 2. I'll pass.

Every time I visit the doctor, I go out to Roku afterward for all you can eat (ayce) sushi. It is somewhat of a tradition of mine. Strange? Yup. Tasty? Most definitely! This time was no different.
When I arrived, I was seated immediately and the young lady dropped off the ayce menus. I ordered several different appetizers and some miso soup. They arrived shortly thereafter and were hot and delicious.
My sushi came out next and was fresh and tasty. I got the rainbow roll, spicy tuna roll, and special shrimp roll. Each had their own flavor and they were yummy. The squid salad was a bit spicy and tasty as well.
Overall, I will definitely be back. The price is right and the service is great!

They also offer an all you can eat sushi selection, have fresh sashimi, and even have different things like sushi burritos. I also tried the sake and was pleased with it. Tried this place for the first time and it was good!

When we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly hostess who also happened to be our server. She allowed us to sit wherever we like. We chose a booth near the entrance. The first thing I noticed as I sat was that the seat had lost some of its cushion (I could feel the wood frame through it) - I am guessing the furniture is just old. I also noticed that the carpet all around the restaurant was very old and in bad shape, showing the traffic lanes between tables; it really needs to be replaced.

She promptly asked us for our drink orders. I got the Vietnamese iced coffee, and this was immediately a hit with me... perfectly sweet, perfectly strong, and served in a nice, big glass.

We both got sushi rolls and I also ordered some of the crab fried rice. The sushi was very good, and it came out super quickly. My roll was called the Rock & Roll, which was tempura battered and fried before being cut and served... it might be one of my favorite rolls ever, really impressive.

My fried rice came out before I was even finished with my sushi... the kitchen was on it! I consider myself a fried rice connoisseur, so I was prepared to really judge them on it (much like how fries can be a good barometer for an American restaurant, it is my opinion that fried rice can be that for east Asian restaurants). I finished my sushi before digging into the rice. From the first bite, I was really pleased with the flavor! The jasmine rice was still fragrant and very comforting. However, there were a couple things I did notice about it that could be better. This particular dish included pineapple, but I am fairly certain they used canned pineapples and didn't cook them at all; it would have been much better to grill fresh pineapple and toss that in. Also, the menu specified the dish was made with lump crab meat, but this was not the case... they used imitation crab (could tell by how it had the shredded texture). Now, to be fair, I did really enjoy the fried rice and I finished the whole thing - I even enjoy imitation crab; but if the menu specified lump crab meat, it should have been real crab.

So, we left full and happy. The sushi especially was really impressive and reasonably priced. There are some needed improvements as I suggested above... they really should update the furniture and flooring, and take to heart my feedback on the fried rice. But don't mistake my constructive criticism for bashing - it was an all-around good experience and we will be back!

The food overall was amazing; however the service was really bad. My two friends and I came in for lunch approx 1pm and left like 3:30. In total, we ordered 6 sushi rolls and a few appetizers from the all you can eat sushi menu. I might give it another chance but don’t come here if you are in a time rush

Finally had carry out Pho. Very good, I had beef and wifey had chicken. The broth is amazing.

Lackluster food. Staff is borderline rude. Spring rolls and rangoon look and taste like they came out of a box.

Absolutely amazing sushi and the staff are always helpful... good-natured... and attentive! The last time I was there, the AC was broken, and it was a bit uncomfortable.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but it seems like if you can’t make decent fried rice it’d be hard to get much else right. This place was awful compared to Green Ginger. I will have no reason to come back. We ordered sushi, fried rice, and jalepenos. The jalepenso were decent everything else was awful. Service was fine and food was done quick. It smelled awful too.

VERY good food, atmosphere is very peaceful with nice music playing. Had the Pho for lunch and it was the best I've had in Indiana. Jasmine tea was tasty as well and it was very moderately priced for the quality of the food. We'll definitely be coming back!!!

Affordable rice with big portions

My son and I came to Roku for a midafternoon snack. My son order sashimi and I ordered chicken fried rice. I told the waitress I wasn't very hungry and asked if she could just bring half of it so I didn't waste the remainder; she said No. I then asked what they had to drink. Apparently she decided I get no food... no rice for you! Odd. As mentioned, the restaurant is a little filthy with dated carpet and furnishings.

The atmosphere is relaxing and welcomes you in. The music is sweet and with a couple of people or even several groups would not overpower the conversation at a calm level. The sushimi is melt in your mouth perfect, tender and succulent. The rolls are amazing with crispy and decadent with sauces that compliment without over powering the delicate flavors of the fishes and other ingredients. You have a choice of jasmine as well as the general green tea proffered in most establishments. The seaweed salad is everything you want without any of the slime you find in most buffet bars. You MUST try a roku roll, but my favorite may just be the jalapeno roll. Bawi is a good hostess. Polite and professional making sure your needs are tended sufficiently. So with such an awesome review why the 4 stars? The 5th star is missing on the environment because this place is hot, wear light clothing or you will melt!. For the foods' lacking star i blame two things. Too much pepper and cilantro. The fact that eel is NOT available with the buffet is sad but can be purchased on the side. The ray of light is the size of the portions. They are totally worth it. I am excited to find Roku shuhi and pho and can't wait for the next food coma this place will put me in. Shushi showdown?? You bet!! And my bets are hedged here.

Sushi was average. service was horrible. we did the all you can eat sushi which was $80 for 3 people. we only ordered 6 rolls and it filled us up more than we thought so we didnt order any more. we had 4 pieces of a roll we didn't like left over. the charged us for the all you can eat and then an additional $10 for the roll we didnt like since we didnt eat all of it. if they would have charged us for just the rolls we ordered it would have been less than $50. not sure why they would charge you for the roll we didnt eat on top of the all you can eat price. we wont be back

Sushi is wonderful. I would have rated them a 5 star but they force you to eat all your sushi but 2 of them if you order the all you can eat OR if you can't eat all but 2 they charge you full price for all the sushi you ordered. It is written in small print in the menu but it is bad service to do that to your patrons. Other than that it is a great place to eat.
***Update*** you already have price for it too high. you should not force people to eat it. I understand not getting more until you finish it but charging extra for not eating what you give us is completely unprofessional.

Started to eat in, then requested To-Go box. Worst (past its prime?) flavor of Pad Thai noodles in my 74 years with an occasional tiny thin sliver of carrot & very chewy, moistureless chicken added (as if yellowed tough noodles & chicken were stored too long in fridge before microwaved to reheat). Poor presentation, rapid service after microwaved, request for lemon slices with my water met with teeniest 'slices' I've seen. Meal tasted as if it may have been spoiled (?). I paid the $15+ & left. Will not return. Most substandard Asian (Vietnamese) food.

The pho is one of the best I found so far in South Indy. Have not tried their sushi even though they advertise themselves for it.

Spicy beef soup taste was a bit off but prices were reasonable.

Delicious food! We had the ahi tuna, combo poke bowl, the spicy beef, Pho bowl, hoosier roll, and miso soup. Everything tasted so good. The service was great. We will definitely be making our way back there soon.

You can’t beat their all-you-can-eat sushi for $23.99. I haven’t had a bad sushi roll here, and their crab rangoon ranks among the best I’ve had at a sushi joint. They could spruce the place up a bit to improve the atmosphere, but overall this is an excellent spot to get your fill of food for the day.

This was my first visit. I had the spicy beef pho, and it lived up to its name! It was very good, but spicy enough that my eyes were watering and my nose was running almost to the point of embarrassment... and I like spicy food! The only con was that we were seated under a very cold A/C vent.

We always receive great service and food! If you are in a hurry, this is not the place. They work as quickly as they are able but are short staffed (like everyone else). The servers are always polite and friendly. The food is great as well.

If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out. Great service, great price. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Came here with a co-worker for lunch and we do NOT regret it. We had the “All You Can Eat” sushi (in the picture) and it was delicious. There were appetizers that were also part of the “All You Can Eat”, and that was good too. (Gyoza, shrimp shu mai, dumplings and spring roll). We’re definitely coming back. On top of all that, the bathrooms were very clean. You can tell they want to keep their bathrooms clean AND smelling clean. I highly recommend this place for any level food enthusiast. Spent about $34 for the “All You Can Eat” and a drink after tipping.

We recently found Roku and it has become our new favorite sushi place. We haven't tried a roll we didn't like. The atmosphere is very casual with friendly and fast service.

I’m surprised that this place isn’t busier. The food is so good and they have a good size menu. Pad Thai, Pho and mango bubble tea are my faves here. The sushi always looks fresh I just don’t eat it so I don’t know how it tastes but it seems to be a popular choice! The atmosphere is serene and so peaceful.

Our experience was disappointing. With only two tables filled, it still took a while for someone to come over and take our order. The salmon in the poke bowl was very low quality, so much so that we didn’t eat most of our bowl. The peanut sauce with the summer rolls wasn’t flavorful enough for that dish. We would not recommend going here.

Worst dinner experience!!!! I came here for my birthday with my husband. It took over 20 mins to get his drink, and then we had to ask about our food after 30 minutes of waiting. He finally got his and I had to watch him eat for 22 minutes and we had to ask again where my food was. My food came out when he was done eating that i had to ask for a togo box. He then asked if there was anything they could do for the check, discount, for the extreme wait. They said NO they got busy. Excuse me! The tables that were sat after us got there food but you were too busy to make ours?? Worst birthday dinner ever! Do not recommend or will we be back!

Beware their website takes takeout orders even when they are not open. Got charged for the food and wasted over an hour driving there and back and the place was closed. Still have not got refund for my food and even got an email confirming my order. Wasted my time and money

I’ve only lived in the area for five months, and we found this place. Absolutely phenomenal food. My son got the bubble tea and loved it, a baked a sushi roll, and chicken fried rice, and he added shrimp. I had pho ga and crab meat, Rangoon. All of our food was absolutely phenomenal, prices that were affordable and portions for a second meal.

We just walk out from this place tonight... Waited our order for almost an hour..food never arrived.. we made a follow-up.. we were told they were busy.. and never check our order at their kitchen.. the most frustraiting part is that we came first from other 2 tables, they got their food first.. seems they are not organized.. and the table next to us were complaining that she got her food wrong... if you are hungry dont go to this place... you will be starving waiting for your food. And they only have 2 staffs (waitress)... food never arrive.. poor service...they even don't apologize of their shortcomings... !!!! If we can rate a big zero.. will do !

Sushi is excellent, fresh & light tasting. Very well balanced flavors. Pho was not very good & I will not get it again. Broth was bland, chicken was cut thick & was tough. Noodles had a texture I'm not used to with pho, best way I can describe them is to say they seemed as though they had been rinsed to the point that majority of the starch seemed to have been stripped. Waitress was friendly & polite if not the most efficient. On the way out we saw a posted sign saying the daily special was all-you-can-eat sushi that we were never told about & had we been told that would probably have been our preferred order.

My daughter and I like to try new restaurants for Saturday Lunch. She wanted Pho and Sushi so I plugged that into Google and it lead me here......the food was outstanding. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We had spicy crab and spicy tuna rolls, crab ragoon and jalapeno bombs. My daughter had the House Pho (minus the tripe) and I had the Crispy Pork Belly. Every item arrived beautifully plated and full of flavor. We will definitely be back!

Worst Bubble tea ever! I'm not a picky eater but the bubble was basically rubber and it's around $5 so you better save that money. They didn't deserve a tip tbh

I went here a little while ago and was really excited to give it a try. The main issue was the slow pace of getting our food. We ordered and almost an hour and a half later we were getting our food. The main courses were delivered at the same time as our appetizer so at that point we were starving. One of our guests didn't even get their drink (hot tea) until the end of the meal (after we asked several times) and they repeatedly attempted to serve food to the wrong tables. The food was decent for the Pho (sushi was underwhelming) but we spent over 3 hours there for a simple dinner.

Sushi was over sauced, fell apart, 11 pieces to a roll.
Had to ask for plates, napkins, straws and refills. We asked what something on the menu was and was told “I don’t know, I never tried”. WTH you can’t tell me what a menu item is but you want me to order it!!

Very dissatisfied, 2nd time here and will not return!!!

The staffs were really nice & they have variety of foods. Their serving size is big also. Will go again.

A nice, quiet place with many menu options. Our food was soooo flavorful!

Stopped in on a busy night. Loved the all you can eat options. Friendly staff and decent food.

Despite what menu you see online, upon arrival, if you want the all you can eat you are limited to an exceptionally small portion of their main menu. Non-consistent servers to take your orders and ghost town ambience leaves much to be desired. Only one thing they had on their all you can eat menu was good. Would not spend 26$ again to eat here. I had high hopes after reading the raving reviews of this place only to be met with disappointment.

Pho is amazing here! They also offer an all you can eat menu.

All you can eat sushi was way better than I thought it would be. Great deal.
